Through his lenses, Dimitri looks on, watching the young man limber up. A smart move on his part. With young bones and joints, it is less likely to have an injury when performing a high pace activity such as this, but it doesn’t prevent it. Perhaps the young man wishes to go all out against him, regardless, Dimitri does nothing still. His position stands motionless, becoming like stone yet capable of instantaneous movement should he need to move. However, while nothing happens on the outside, on the inside Dimitri channels his Reiryoku into the cane. No glow, no tremble, nothing happens but the subtle deposit of his Reiryoku into the item within his hands. It goes on even when the young man begins to allow his own spiritual power to spike and taper off, causing his image to become obscured somewhat.
Still limbering up, he’d allow for his movement to disguise his transition to Hirenkyaku. Such high-speeds do not go unnoticed by Dimitri, yet his eyes do not spend time trying to keep up, he simply allows his senses to take care of that. Arriving at his blindside with the use of his spirit weapon, he releases two sets of arrows and Dimitri rotates fluidly in conjunction. Wielding his cane in just one hand at this point, he used it to deflect each projectile away from his position, moving it through consecutive strikes in order to do so. Finishing his 180-degree turn like so, the young man is gone, repeating the same process with rapid movements. Switching locations, from the ceiling to the wall, to the ground, etc. He’d take advantage of the building they stood in and his past training would show. However, Dimitri stands capable of not only following his movements and remaining in this singular spot but also being able to deflect each Arrow that comes his way. Each motion came without any effort, not a bead of sweat coming down his head. His movements became something similar to dance as if he had played these motions for years.
Dimitri remains in full control of each action, and finally, the young man comes to a stop just a few feet out, no longer supported by his weapon or any reishi licking the tips of fingers. Whether he could conjure his weapon as fast as he did before, it made no difference to Dimitri who had moved, via his own Hirenkyaku concurrently to him ceasing his rapid movements. The Elderly man is now upon him, likely catching him off guard due to his speed. Standing at his front with the bottom of his Cane heading towards his torso as if meaning to strike him with blunt force. Before it could ever make contact, a force of spiritual energy is released outward from the cane at point-blank range. A shockwave is produced, spreading outward in a 360-degree radius and at such speed and with such force the young man will be blown off his feet and into the very wall, ultimately crashing through it with minor injuries to come.

Listen While You Read
Jeuno found no real surprise in the speed the old man held and the capability in deflecting such weak bolts. They were crafted not so much as to defeat him in that instance but instead to test how hard he could truly go without overstepping. Well... that wasn't the whole purpose but certainly one of them. Each deflection did not disperse the projectiles but instead struck them into the surrounding body of the structure. As all but one faded from existence, the last survivor slipped into the wall and it's presence was snuffed out by the effect of the Krieger's Reiatsu. For the old man nothing would likely be sparked in his attention to it, but for Jeuno, it was as if the world around took light. He could see and almost feel the very construct that acted as their playground. The walls, the objects inside, the people inside, all visible to him in real time.
The stillness that came after his blitz did not leave him unready to respond, instead a counter was what he expected. His feet cemented upon the ground, his hands outwards from his sides, and his senses focused on not only the man but also what he could make use of in the environment. The ease that the older male took care of the weaker arrows gave the confirmation he needed that he needed to adjust his strategy. Speed would not be enough. Despite being aged, he was not hindered by the typical effects of it.
The awaited retaliation came with a breakneck speed, something that forced an expression of surprise to Jeuno's face. He attempted to gain distance as Dimitri's cane drew closer to his chest, but it didn't matter in the end. A shockwave erupted out that was aimed to displace him and deal damage as a bonus. Flying backward as a result left little time for adjustment but not something of impossibility. The Krieger outstretched his arm downward towards the ground drawing Reishi between it and the ground below. What appeared to be threads formed from both his palm and that which was below before tightening and binding the two by the strands, as if they were being stitched together. This was a technique he developed with the moniker, Schlafstiche. It's original purpose was to stitch wounds together and accelerate healing processes, but was instead utilized to ground him before meeting the rapidly approaching wall. As his momentum ceased from the threaded binding he created, a pop came from his arm as the force set in. He brought his feet to touch the ground and released the Schlafstiche's hold. Bringing his spare arm to the one that was bound, he then gripped it firmly and set his dislocated shoulder back into place. Jeuno looked to the old man as he granted himself the full activation of his spirit weapon. The arms of his twin bows manifested from his hands in an instant.
He brought both limbs together resulting in a loud clap as his hands made contact. The form of the dual weapons merged into the shape of a cross from the point of his hands' union. A brilliant blue light gathered at the intersection before an astounding boom echoed along the halls. Onward a gigantic blast travelled with its mission being meeting with the elder. The walls around the stampeding arrow cracked and shook by the sheer strength of its presence. Jeuno would normally be forced to slide back by the emission but he replicated the stitching from before with his feet to the floor beneath him. The size of the projectile left only the tightest of spaces to out maneuver its pathing. The Machinist did not intend to bring great harm to the man he did not know or the space they resided in, so he did not launch this attack with the intent to kill. Even so, if it made contact with his opposition they'd be embraced by a concussive vigor that'd throw them backwards down the passageway into the furthest wall and ultimately met by the shot's explosive finale afterward. Normally this technique, his Vorwärts-Artillerie, would pierce through all in its path but instead he tapered off the arrow's piercing point. He needed to be decisive but not fatal.
