“Perhaps you’re right Captain Kagayaki…”
Words came fluttering towards him as the room itself took a deep exhale. The fog dwindled in thickness and found itself dispersing completely, the devastation of the room revealed to the trio. Walls and floors charred by flame and combustion, Division banners torn asunder, ripped at their seams and reduced to cinder and ash. The Knight’s gaze darts over to the ominous chair in which the giant commander sat formerly. Its surface was spotless, unperturbed by the chaos of the room that housed it. A sigh of relief escapes the Captain’s lips, Kyomu’s words… comforting?
There was a shift in the Assassin’s posture, a sign of epiphany and realization in his cold and unrelenting stare. As he focused on the insignia of his division, dinged and tattered on the back of his haori, growth bleeds from the Omnitsukido Commander’s pores. The sight of it reminds Higen of the annoying proof of his expertise that grew and festered on his back. He’d need some medical attention at some point. Light pours into the room for the first time since Captain Kojima and Captain Nakamato’s untimely exits. The world beyond this door had been insignificant to the three up until this point. The phantom slithers through first, the cascading light enveloping his silhouette until he is completely out of view. Higen scans the room in search of his Haori, noticing soon after that it was simply folded over his waist and legs, tucked within his obi sash. His rippling muscles and chiseled torso still exposed, his wound drying about against the stale air. Higen begins a slow trot, the pattering of his feet against the solid floor causes a simple cadence to echo the hall. Sapphire orbs shift to Tenzen’s wounded person, who worked his way towards the massive door next.

"Kagayaki-San, give me time to meditate on your and Murasaki-Sama's words. I... Uhh... Am a bit odd when it comes to certain things... Orders are easy to understand, other things not so much. Once I have time alone I will reach the understanding of the words spoken here today. Thank you for your wisdom, Captain."

Perhaps not seen for a while, the old man unveils one of his famous smiles, ear to ear, and nods in response to the Kido Commander’s words. They’d have their day of reflection, but that day was not now. Before Tenzen turns to rush through the door, Higen limply extends his right arm in front of him, his thumb pointed upward as he presented a friendly wink. The injury was tolling, even for someone as durable as he. Tenzen too, crosses the threshold between the room in which they were bound, out into the once barren courtyard that unbeknownst to him, was now filled with life. The confusion of the hall had settled, and the many signatures assembled outside its doors come into Higen’s array of sensory. Familiar enough with most of them, his brows raise in curiosity. They had amassed quite the crowd, it seemed; perhaps the foundations of the hall shaking sporadically was enough to draw attention.
The Knight follows shortly after The Buddha. As he edges the door open a bit more to support his size, he takes in all that surround. Tenzen’s frail and somewhat weakened body was being crutched by Kiku, Akarui and Honoka stood in tandem, Kido corps members bowing all-while engaging with their emergent commander. Higen, ignorant to the serious circumstances of the world outside that hall, emerges in spry and in positive spirits, devoid of ire and fluster. He approaches behind both Akarui and Honoka, his right hand resting atop the dwarf’s head, while the other extends to rest on Honoka’s shoulder.
“Well if it isn’t two of my favorite Ladi-”
Almost immediately, the tension in the air causes his lungs to stiffen. Perhaps he approached the crowd in the wrong manner. It was almost impossible to hide his happiness, having such burdens lifted from his shoulders, burdens that had been shackled to him like ball and chain. He attempts to further “read the room”, so to speak—a large puddle of a strange, mawkish liquid. Others would inquire about its origin, though Higen knew, just not sure how it came about. He’d seen Akarui do the same thing to a many people during his time in First, but just who’d stepped out of line enough to warrant this reaction from her? His posture returns to normal as his body becomes more erect, The trained duo would either smell the blood that sifted through the air or with a trained eye, notice the changing in movement from the normally astute physical specimen that was Higen.
A brief silence fills the space, then a rumbling of cataclysmic proportions. The very sky itself ripples and separates from a vast distance. His curious eyes peered upward and outward, off into the distant rukongai, far beyond the walls of the Seireitei. The very clouds congregate at a focal point, as if a storm was set to brew. But no, this was different. He raises a brow, just as the very fabric of the formerly blue sky tears apart. A massive maw of black swallows the sky, hovering over the rukongai as a reminder of an impending doom. There is a calmness in Higen’s expression, the attitude of a man perpetually in the mindset of “What’s next”. It was a forgiving attitude to have—ever vigilant, ever prepared. A pillar of blood red is vacuumed up into the sky, from this distance there are no words to explain its strangeness. Everyone’s eyes seem to be simultaneously glued to the anomaly, which soon after turns into a devastating explosion of ash, fire and smoke. A cloud rises into the sky as a devastating plume, even further decreasing their ability to see or identify important details.
"We will take those that you brought with you and head out to the Rukongai."
Higen-Nineteen.png

The exchange between Tenzen and the Kido Corps officials was primarily drowned out until this moment. It appeared they were going to handle that. Good. He was curious as to what was going on, but realistically they both weren’t in great shape for dealing with any threats at the moment. Higen’s mind darts around to the commander’s words and orders, trying to recall what had been forgotten in the midst of defending himself in the meeting. He was sure he’d owed Honoka a report, for starters. He shifts his posture to speak to her, but before his lips part to speak a single word an eruption of spiritual energy culminates behind them. A gleam of purple barely peaks through the cracks of the hall’s doors, before the massive blade of Shihoken comes darting through. Its size, almost if not parallel to Higen himself. Like a spear, it barrels directly forward enveloped in amethyst flame, unable to be perturbed or interrupted, In nearly blinding speed it hurls towards.. The Central 46 compound?
Wait..
The commander’s presence, never ignorable, remains stagnant for just an instant, and then is released in what to him.. is such a minor fraction. To all familiar with its touch, it is an insurmountable piece. Even from this distance, it is inconceivably oppressive. It is a terrifying feeling altogether, but what’s next would be even more frightening. That very presence, that Higen had grown all-too familiar with is suddenly, inexplicably, Halved. Higen’s eyes widen in response, other members of the first Division would also be able to speculate, to fear for what this could have meant. He looks to both Akarui and Honoka, speaking urgently before vanishing nito an abrupt shunpo.
“Honoka! Akarui!
He follows the direction of the massive blade traveled, splotches of blood the only evidence of where he’d gone next. He traversed the many layers of the Seireitei’s central district, the paneling of the shingled roofs unfurling beneath the pressure of panicked feet. The C46 compound is breached almost effortlessly, no security, silence, empty halls devoid of the normal murmuring of corrupt officials who hide behind bamboo masks. A long hall welcomes him, leading to what appears to be the main court room of the facility. Higen breaches the door way, the smell of blood ripe and foul. The room is scanned only to see the many bodies of the Central 46 officials hunched over their juror chairs and desks. The entire amphitheater ripe with death. In its center, is a sight Higen has not once seen, and will now never forget. The massive commander, in all his glory, hunched over In groveling fashion, wounded gravely. His blood pours onto his own blade like a sacrificial lamb. In praying form, Commander Murasaki is wounded, weakened, his indomitable stature dwindled to a hermit bereft of his shell. Higen’s fists are dropped to his side, clenched and shaking violently, the nubs of his nails forced deeply enough to draw blood from his palms.
His eyes nearly bulge from his head, frozen in disbelief. He contributes to the puddle of blood in the room from a wound of his own. Who… Or.. What was responsible for this? This was not balance, this was not the Commander’s vision, so this was not the Commander. Many variables began to run through his mind, the event in the Rukongai, now this.. all at the same time. It seemed they were always under attack on so many fronts, with no way to truly defend against it. A deep breath escapes him, as he takes one miniscule step forward toward the ravaged commander.
“C-C .. Commander!!!!!!
The Knight screams at the behest of the Judicator for all to hear, perhaps if both Honoka and Akarui followed, they could rush to his side, but here, now, there was nothing Higen could do to help.

Akarui_NT.png

A significant amount of personnel was making their way towards the First Division, yet only one had decided to pass the threshold of the First Division Barracks. Her unsealed blade in hand, Akarui had turned and observed as a Head Priestess emerged from the depths of the outerwall and into the courtyard of the Captain’s Hall. She did well to keep her distance, and Akarui had figured that something else was going on. Unlike Shusuke, this woman was keen enough to do something like that. Akarui is also wary of the Lieutenant’s presence… Perhaps that kidō spell in the direction of the Seventh Division had been the call for the Priestess to come and report to her captain.
"Greetings. Not long ago our Division picked up the signature of a Hado 90 being used with a full incantation. I am here to await our Captain and give this report to him as it requires his immediate attention. That is all."
So she was correct.
No matter. Hearing the creaking of the wooden doors, Akarui turns and finds that Kyomu Mukuro of the Second Division was taking his leave, properly responding to the orders of their Commander. At the sight of his arm, Akarui could even say that she was impressed that it had gotten this far, damage and all. Clearly those three that remained had issues with one another. Perhaps this was their way of rectifying all misgivings. She sees the glance he gives the Head Lieutenant, but nothing else is spared as he takes his leave without another word to Soul King knows where.
"Kyomu!"
Honoka Oki calls out without his proper title shows the intimacy that those two share. For her to break composure and tradition at the sight of an injured shinigami had obviously meant that the boy clearly held some place in her heart.
The doors have opened once more, and the sound of shuffling causes emerald orbs to fall on a similarly -- if not worse -- injured Tenzen Oda. Akarui’s curiosity because more and more piqued, and she can not help but--
The ground beneath their feet rumbles. Though it is faint, it is significant enough to stop the Captain Oda in his tracks. Most, if not all parties, turn to observe the horizon, and find a looming cloud of dust that blankets a region of the Rukongai. Being visible from even where they stand had meant that something had happened. Something large, and on a scale unlike any other. Her attention falls back onto Tenzen Oda, and recalls that the Nakamoto boy had prior engagements that required his presence. While she was unsure of those that were left in the Fourth Division, Akarui was well versed in Kaidō (回道, “Turn Way”).
She does not pay much attention to the conversation between him and his priestess, instead unquiping her shikai so that it now sits sealed and holstered on her hip. Clearly, the man was as driven as the Mukuro boy was in carrying out their duties. While she admired that, having been in their positions, bound to their orders, even while critically injured. It was honorable, and as she grew up… it was also stupid. Yet he falls to his knee, only to be caught by a familiar face that she loathes.
Hello Captain Oda, Head Lieutenant Oki and Gekko-chan, I would bow but alas, i am keeping you standing. Is this a good time to ask about you approving my Transfer into your division?"
Illustration538.png

“Do not move.”
The fire that spurs within Akarui’s eyes is apparent, as is the killing intent as she stares at Kiku Shunkan. She knew that he was an idiot, but to completely disregard protocol for something as simple as a transfer?
It was absurd!
Outrageous!
“20th Seat Shunkan, if it were not for you catching Captain Oda I would have your head. You stray into the Captain’s Hall without any confirmation on the completion of the meeting. There are rules and regulations that even a dunce like you should be able to follow. Not only do you bombard sacred grounds but go so far as to request for something as trivial as a transfer confirmation!”
Illustration540.png

Even as she berates the white-haired buffoon, she readies her spiritual prowess for her to properly act. Akarui closes the distance between her and the boy in a single stride, hands aglow with a luminescent green hue and pressed it firmly against his torso. When it came to healing, it was best to restore the injured party’s reiatsu first. By doing so, one can attempt to recover the physical body using the patient's restored Reiatsu and the healer's external Reiatsu. Therefore, restoring the Reiatsu when the physical body is in a fully healed state is no trouble at all. She’d done this many times before, often to herself or had received it from her former captain and lieutenant. Knowledge comes from experience… And she would use this to heal the blond pacifist.
After Tenzen, comes barrelling the titan of sunshine and he even goes so far as to place a hand on her head. Again! If the Sixth Seat wasn’t so focused on providing proper service as she had been taught all those centuries ago, Higen’s hand would have been ripped off of his body.
“Well if it isn’t two of my favorite Ladi-”
"Akarui... What's that... puddle?"

“Former Captain Mahō Kojima.”
She answers quickly and truthfully, for what does she dare hide? There was nothing that could convince her that she’d stepped out of line. She knew that the Tenth Division Captain had familiarity when it came to her methods, and her ruthlessness in upholding the laws and words of their Captain-Commander. Just as she thinks of him, the rattling of the doors sound once more and she questions it, seeing as that the last occupant had left. Yet the sheen silver that flashed by is inhuman. Come to think of it, Akarui had recalled that the Commander had been without his blade upon leaving the premises, and held only his sheath to assist his walking. Clearly it was his blade being called forth, but the Commander was currently residing within the Central 46’s Compound.
From where they stood, those most familiar with the Commander’s overwhelming pressure would suddenly find their blood running cold. Sweat dribbled down Akarui’s forehead and down her chin.
“Honoka! Akarui!
She clicks her tongue in distaste and watches as he rushes off towards the Compound, but she can not leave until Tenzen’s wounds come to a close. She needed more time. Had she rushed it, the influx of her own reiatsu would clash against the captain’s and end up causing more harm than good. While she was able to replenish his reiatsu, his physical body was only beginning to heal. Had she performed improperly, his wounds would reopen and the acidic properties of her reiatsu would come to harm him. She was doing well to keep that in check, so instead she turned to look at the Head Lieutenant and beckon for her to go. She was closest to him, second only to Higen.
“Head Lieutenant Oki! Please go. I have to properly finish or the boy will fall ill.”
As much as she desired to go, Akarui had no choice to finish what she had started. Clearly what was happening in the Rukongai was dire as the booming sound of a voice came through through the use of Tenteikūra. The mental link was sealed, and it was the voice of the Second Division Lieutenant Yasu Yūgure that had performed it. The Sixth Seat was well aware of the girl and her practicality of kidō. For her to perform it at such a massive state had only confirmed her suspicions.
“All available Shinigami, heed this call. A Garganta has appeared in the 77th District of the Eastern Rukongai! Calling all available assets to respond. A Garganta has--”
The connection is severed by the disastrous explosion. One thing right after the other, things were falling apart within the Soul Society, as was the World of the Living, along with Hueco Mundo. Her brows furrowed, concentrated but the back of her head was filled with unease at the events that were unfolding before them all. It takes a bit more, but Tenzen's wounds close and seal tightly as if never having existed in the first place beneath the plumes of steam that exuded the former fissures.
“I suggest you hurry. I've done all that I can. Those of who are remaining in this courtyard should answer the summons of Lieutenant Yūgure.”
She is quick to dismiss him and everyone else while she ends up heading towards the Central 46 Compound. All the while she is unaware of what awaits her.

"The location of this spell was discharged at the Seventh Division Barracks. The spell was used a few minutes ago, hence the reason for our mobilization. The information we do have is that the spell was used with a full incantation, which is a cause for distress as that is not a spell that should be used so casually within the Seireitei. As for participants, Instructor Aikawa's Reiatsu was detected encompassing Seventh Division Barracks at the time of the spell's usage, who it was used on is unknown."
That was all the information the Head Lieutenant needs to add a few more pieces to the puzzle. During her search for Captain Nakamoto, Yami Mochizuki, and Jinnosuke Ueku, She caught a brief glimpse of those training in Seventh Division. While Enso Aikawa's spiritual pressure encompassed the area, drowning out the spiritual signature of those in Seventh Division, Honoka's sensing was able to discern the minute differences and fluctuations of those engulfed around it. Recalling their names from different reports on her desk, she is finally able to attach spiritual signatures to faces, and faces to names. Ashura Nojukubi, Daiki Kommamura, and Katsuo Shirayuri. She paid no mind to it, initially. Why would she? She was on a mission to relay orders to maintain the balance of not only the Soul Society, but also the world of the living.
"I see. Earlier toda-"
Just as she's about to relay the her bit of information, the doors behind the group open yet again. The First Lieutenant quickly turns, in hopes of finally catching Captain Kagayaki, but in his stead, she finds the Captain of Fifth Division and the Kido Corps, Tenzen Oda.
"What's goi-"
The rumbles and explosion off in the Rukongai cut off the young Captain and silence the group for several seconds. A vein on Honoka's temple begins to throb rhythmically. She retains her composure, remaining quiet as Captain Oda and the Kido Priestess go back and forth in their discussion, feeding the Head Lieutenant information of not only newly appointed Lieutenant, Arashi Suta, but also the reason of the massive explosion that reverberated through the entirety of the Seireitei. A unified effort to rid the Rukongai of the Soul King's blood. The events of a single day piling one on top of the other.
*Tsk* "What an inconvenience..."
She reaches forward as the Captain stumbles in his attempt to shunpo back to work. While highly commendable in his sense of duty, going so far as to ignore personal injury, it appeared the damage was too severe to allow him to properly function. Saved only by the sudden appearance of Kiku Shunkan.
"Hello Captain Oda, Head Lieutenant Oki and Gekko-chan, I would bow but alas, I am keeping you standing."
c508aa85a84024e4f8b7fc628e439a7e.png

Is this a good time to ask about you approving my transfer into your division?"
Post-1-1.png

A shadow casts itself over the tall beauty's face. The Twentieth Seat of First Division not only breaks protocol, but disrespects the hierarchy. The order. The very organization that is First Division. He is still a member of the most prestigious division in the Gotei 13, and to act recklessly casual not only before Sixth Seat, Akarui Gekko, but also the Head Lieutenant... inconceivable. The throbbing vein on the Oki woman's temple protrudes slightly more; her threshold nearing its limits. Instead of asking for orders, he seeks to ask for something so.. trivial. A transfer. Even as it were a fresh topic discussed earlier that day, the escalation of events pushed something so... inconsequential to the very back of her mind.
Akarui's swift words would have to be enough for the moment as Higen places a hand on the Scorpion's head while she proceeds to heal the crippled Oda. His free hand finds itself on Honoka's shoulder. A familiar touch that snaps her train of thought back.
Well if it isn’t two of my favorite Ladi-
"Captain Higen.."
She interjects quickly, condensing a full report to mere sentences as the explosions' damage remains visible via smoke and fires. She has no time to inform him of the exact locations, the participants currently engaging, much less the approval for the removal of the Gentei Kaijo, revealing the severity of the situation.
"..Two Togabito have appeared in the world of the living. Commander Murasaki has granted you authority to act on his behalf to deal with these threats."
Kiku's obliviousness remains prevalent as those higher in the chain of authority continue to attempt to restore peace and balance to the different worlds currently in jeopardy.
"Akarui... What's that... puddle?"
“Former Captain Mahō Kojima.”
"Seated officer, Shunkan, you are to clean up the remains of Captain Kojima, as well as the Captain's hall of all rubbl-"
While her tone is stern, even entirely monotone in it's deliverance, not deviating a single decible as she speaks her orders to the lower seated member, her words are cut short by the sudden flare of reiatsu behind them.
313fc87896d616a60e19e7c5fb6132fc.png

A reiryoku signature she is most familiar with erupts violently from within the Captains Hall. How? It was empty. All the participants were either gone, or standing outside with her. That is when she recalls the Captain Commander using nothing but the very sheath of his zanpakuto during their walk towards the Central Forty-Six compound. This time, it is the blade alone that flies past in an instant, a mere glare of light, flashes by those standing outside of the captains hall. Surely if one were to blink, they'd have missed it. Yet she, aware of it's destination doesn't allow herself to squander what precious time is left to act. She flashsteps back to the very entrance of the compound she last saw Commander Murasaki disappear into, prior to the completion of the Captain's meeting, with the blade only instances before her it bursts through the entrance. Higen practically at her side, seeking answers to the inexplicable diminishing intensity of the Commander's spiritual pressure. Akarui is left behind to heal Captain Oda, with Kiku remaining as his support, and partially given orders to clean up the mess at the Hall.
Even from the outside, before taking a step past the threshold and into the compound, Honoka can feel the Commanders presence dwindle inside. Growing smaller by the second, until that very signature is half as potent as it once was. The scent of blood wafts into her nostrils, despite the distance from the courtroom to the entrance. Instant cause for alarm. She focuses, sensing and searching for signatures inside as she rushes further in. Able to only distinguish one, despite a congregation of nobles being present in the room.
80c2154065bee497ebc2bb39d04095d4.gif

Her irises and pupils shrink, the sheer astonishment of the scene before her eyes confirms exactly what she had feared before setting eyes on the gory display surrounding Shobatsu. The culmination of nobleman set to judge and sentence Captain Commander Murasaki lay dead in their seats, their blood splattered and dripping down their wooden seats, accumulating in a pool at the floor around The Great Judicator. Her eyes dart back to her commander, her eyes still wide with shock as she sees him as she had never seen him before. On his knees, debilitated, and injured. His blood forms a puddle underneath him as he hunches over his own sheathed blade. Her mind is racing, going through all the posibilites in her head over the events that transpired moments before they beared witness to the aftermath of Shihōken's actions.
C-C .. Commander!!!!!!
Higen's voice rattles her attention back. This wasn't the time to think, this was the time to act. The readied reiryoku meant to once heal Kyomu, is now repurposed, taking no time to request her own constant release zanpakuto's help, she thrusts her left arm upwards, her wrist bending inwards, causing large, thick vines to seal the entrance in the blink of an eye. These stocky vines would prove far sturdier that the doors that once protected the sanctum could hope to compare, thus preventing easy access to anyone Honoka did not permit inside, while also siphoning any reiyoku or reiatsu in the area that sought to cut them down to force their way in.
While these vines intertwine tightly, sealing the room from the outside, Honoka's right hand swipes over the Captain Commander, this time, smaller finer vines gently coil around underneath him, pinkish flowers begin to sprout, releasing petals to what would become the vine-created dome's bottom, cushioning and lifting the Head Captain, along with his zanpakuto, without so much as actually disturbing his body. How could she? The Lieutenant has no actual scope of his injuries, and moving his body to examine the damage could possibly even worsen his wound. Not only that, despite her proficiency in Kaido, with the amount of his blood pooled on the floor, the use of Kaido would prove not only slow but practically inefficient in this situation. Iyashino hanadama (癒しの花球 Lit. "Healing Flower Dome") was the only thing that immediately came to mind in order to, not only ease any pain, but heal him from both sides simultaneously. This dome, now encompassing the Commander, absorbs the energy in the air, while also using his and her spiritual pressure to restore the reiatsu his injury previously leaked out. Thanks to this, she is able to quickly stop him from bleeding out.
d18984168a1c18b003a1f64a06184122.png

Honoka stands before the dome, her hands hovering lightly over it, feeding her reiatsu into this plant. Finally, she has a few seconds of "peace" to think as she heals Shobatsu. Her verdant eyes once again go over the room, over the corpses she once knew as people; corpses she once knew as Central Forty-Six. She sighs loudly for once, the real reason for her relief unbeknownst to Higen, or anyone for that matter. Perhaps Higen would interpret this as relief of stabilizing the Commander, but in truth, this sense of relief is due to the very fact that she no longer has to secretly report to the nobles of C46 who sought damaging evidence on Captain Commander Murasaki, all in an effort to remove him from his post. Could it have been perhaps why he sent her away earlier that day, even as she hoped to accompany him inside? Did he see this possibility? Had she entered with him, could she have also suffered the same fate as the other nobles? Did he ever catch sight of her during one of these undisclosed and off-record meetings? And if so, why even allow her to continue on as his Lieutenant?
Her mind spirals around with never ending questions. Questions that perhaps would remain unanswered. For now, Honoka Oki only hopes to successfully rehabilitate the Captain Commander.

An unexpected development happens as a masked white haired shinigami races in to help the falling Oda Captain. The help was appreciated and it was quickly made apparent who this person was, a member of the First Division.
“Hello Captain Oda, Head Lieutenant Oki and Geckko-chan, I would bow but alas, i am keeping you standing. Is this a good time to ask about you approving my Transfer into your division?"
Tenzen remains silent, this situation is… Odd to say the least. He doesn’t say a word to the young man and instead lets the others around him talk and converse so that he may figure out what this is all about.
“Do not move.”
The words of the smaller woman are spoken sternly and her facial features allow Tenzen to accurately gauge what her emotional state is at the moment, anger.

The Captain remains silent, this situation is odd indeed, odd and trivial. Sixth Seat Gekko closes the gap between them and begins healing the downed Captain of his injuries. Time ticks by the longer he has to wait for this healing process to finish, however, this time idle does not come without its benefits. Information is gained as he is being treated, rather interesting information at that.
"Akarui... What's that... puddle?"
“Former Captain Mahō Kojima.”

Captain Kojima is… Dead? Was this the price to pay for defying the orders of the Head Captain? Tenzen’s eyes move to look upon the puddle, who was it that slayed the dragon and reduced him to… this? The Buddha had no idea that it was the very same woman healing him of his injuries that did this, but even further ignorance would blind him of the truth of what actually transpired just outside of the hall doors. No matter, it is irrelevant to him and his current mission. Captain Kagayaki was the last to exit the hall shortly after Tenzen’s exodus from it. He is greeted by the Head Lieutenant and the exchange sounded rather friendly. Tenzen’s mind begins to block out the sounds of their voices until…
"..Two Togabito have appeared in the world of the living. Commander Murasaki has granted you authority to act on his behalf to deal with these threats."
His eyes would widen and this information prompted the man to turn his entire head to look towards the Lt. His anxiety and paranoia were beginning to flare up as he now suspects a Togabito to be the cause of what is happening in the Rukongai. He calms himself, if that were the case they would have sensed it already, something like that would stick out like a sore thumb in Soul Society. The Lt then passes an order over to the one known as Kiku to clean up the puddle. This man was some sort of janitor? Perhaps he possesses some unique ability to- Irrelevant, no reason to waste more thoughts on something pointless as cleaning. While being healed the entire group present feels the same presence, a presence that should not be within the hall any longer. Tenzen’s head snaps to the hall doors when they burst open and out of the darkness of the hall flies the Commanders Zanpakuto like a blazing missile cloaked in his Reiryoku.
05328ea95dacd427622b7e95c9df2cf9.png

“Honoka! Akarui!”
The Titan calls out to the two women as he speeds off towards Central 46 with the Head Lt leaving just as quickly as he did. What was going on in the world around them and the world outside? Chaos seemed to be in full sway as their attention was quickly being divided and at a rapid pace. He grit his teeth, not happy about any of what was going on and yet he fears the answers he seeks may only lead to more questions or trouble. As the healing was nearing its completion the Captain had not spoken a single word instead using his eyes, ears and sense of Reiryoku to gather information around him. Something terrible is happening in the Rukongai, Togabito are in the world of the living, a Captain is dead, a potential traitor at Seventh Division, and now the Commander’s Zanpakuto takes a life of its own to-
“All available Shinigami, heed this call. A Garganta has appeared in the 77th District of the Eastern Rukongai! Calling all available assets to respond. A Garganta has--”
A Semi-familiar voice hits his mind from the use of Tenteikūra and only adds to the troubling information he has gathered, luckily he will be heading in that direction. A Garganta? Could this be an orchestrated attack from the Arrancar? It would explain why that Eleventh Division man was sent on a mission there. His wounds finally sealed and mended he rose to his feet, rotating his left shoulder to ensure he had full use of it again.
“I suggest you hurry. I've done all that I can. Those of who are remaining in this courtyard should answer the summons of Lieutenant Yūgure.”
”I appreciate your help uhh, Gekko-san. You there, Shunkan-san, once you have finished your orders meet me in the 77th district. I will meditate on your transfer to my Division based on your performance. Kido Corps, let’s go.”

With a flicker of Shunpo Tenzen and his Kido Corps vanished from the courtyard, one moment it is filled with people and what some may call excitement, the next moment it is dead quiet leaving only memories.
Tenzen and his group reappear leaping across buildings as they race towards the walls of the Seireitei to reach the Rukongai.
”Fifth Division, Report.”
Surely all was not silent at his division with the sighting of a Togabito there had to have been multiple uses of the Senkaimon and he wanted this information. One of the five Fifth Division members present steps up, moving ahead of the group to pace the Captain as he delivers his report.
”Captain! Earlier today you received a message from one Hibiki Maeda, the very same man sent to Hueco Mundo. He was requesting extraction to return to the Soul Society.”
”When you are finished reporting, return to the Barracks and have them open the Keikaigi for him. If anything comes through that gate that doesn’t have Shinigami Reiatsu, destroy it. Next report.”

The man nods and continues on with the next report.
”The Senkaimon was used multiple times today to deploy Shinigami to the world of the living. These people include: Lt of Fourth Division Omoni Hageshi, the Third, Fourth and Fifth seats of Thirteenth Division, Oyama Hoshi, Katsuo Oda, and Shinjitsu Kyo. As of right now these are the only people we know of who have passed through it at the time of my leaving the barracks. Fourth Seat of Thirteenth Division, Katsuo Oda, returned briefly with a captured Hollow in tow. He spouted something about a Togabito in the world of the living before taking five of our men with him as back up. Ne-”
The man is cut off by his Captain. Who shifts his eyes to the side to look at him for the first time.
”What do you mean he returned with a captured Hollow then taking five of our men as back up? It sounds as if he dropped the Hollow and left.”
The man was nervous, this strange sternness of his Captain was unexpected, yet he nodded his head in agreement.
”It… It’s exactly as it sounds Captain. Luckily Eizoku Yugameru responded to the situation, properly sealed it away and set off to deliver it to the Fourth Division as that was its original destination. That is the end of my report, Sir.”
Tenzen’s eyes narrow as he looks ahead, sighing heavily from due to his brother's brash and irresponsible actions.
”Very well, let it be reported to the First Division that Thirteenth Division was not competent enough to finish their own task and because of such incompetence the Fifth Division had to finish it for them. I'll also be expecting a more detailed report on this from Yugameru himself when I return. You are dismissed, return to the barracks and have them ready the Keikaigi for Hibiki Maeda. Remember, if you don’t sense a Shinigami’s Reiatsu exiting that portal everyone is to make use of high level Kido spells to obliterate it. Now go.”
The man bows and flickers away, breaking off from the group to follow through on his orders. Tenzen was right, chaos is in full swing today, hopefully the Shinigami can get the reigns of control back once again.

" Do not move"
Kiku hears as he holds Captain Oda up. He remains there without much change as he thinks; 'Who is she talking too? Me? Captain Oda? He doesn't look very movey... Why would she tell him not to move..' His smile never leaves his face as he continues this thought until Akarui in her very singular method started to bark at Kiku.

" 20th Seat Shunkan, if it were not for you catching Captain Oda I would have your head. You stray into the Captain’s Hall without any confirmation on the completion of the meeting. There are rules and regulations that even a dunce like you should be able to follow. Not only do you bombard sacred grounds but go so far as to request for something as trivial as a transfer confirmation!"
There she goes again. People are injured right in front of her, and she goes off barking about protocol. This and that, To make things worse Kiku didn't know the Hear Lieutenant was here until he arrived so the improvised greeting was being glared down by her as well. Kiku didn't care what the Captain's talked about, that was for them to discus. Did they think him so dull that they thought he couldn't sense each energy signature stray out after flaring up and now dwindling, and then finally making their exit. Kiku drifted back to reality when he asked about the puddle. He looked over to Akarui who would respond with her gruff and simple;
"Former Captain Mahō Kojima."
Kiku would sigh, not at Akarui this time, but at the decisions Maho must of made to force such a thing to happen. Everyone in Seireitei should know not to mess with First Division Shinigami. Kiku's eyes open for nearly the first time since he got here. He was about to say something as another voice cut everyone off.
“Well if it isn’t two of my favorite Ladi-”

"Captain Higen.."
Head Lieutenant cuts Captain of the Tenth Division off before he could even get a word out. So much for respecting the hierarchy, right. She goes off on a report, finally something of value instead of pointless words, Kiku was wondering when they would get to a point.
"..Two Togabito have appeared in the world of the living. Commander Murasaki has granted you authority to act on his behalf to deal with these threats."
Togabito? Hell spawn? Hell Gates in the world of the living? Why wasn't every one alerted to a threat like this? They expected seated members to deal with the likes of these creatures and idly wait for the Captains to discuss their own drama? Kiku was glaring known, unknown to himself. He was clenching his fist, While the one holding Captain Oda up might of gripped his shoulder a little tighter in his sudden frustration. However, Kiku would remain silent as Head Lieutenant Oki looked at him with daggers for eyes and started issuing the order to clean up the mess.

"Seated officer, Shunkan, you are to clean up the remains of Captain Kojima, as well as the Captain's hall of all rubbl-"

Her words, if continued were suddenly cut short. Kiku turned his head in the direction of the Captains Hall. He had felt the residual reiatsu of Captain Commander Murasaki but this, this was next level. If he would of blinked or had his eyes closed even for a part of a second, He would of missed it. The Commanders Zanpakuto shot like a rocket out of the Hall. Covered in those signature purple flames it was unmistakable. As it shot off the Shinigami started to loose composure in front of him and Captain Oda, Panic set on their face, and they bolted. With nothing more than Captain Higen shouting;

“Honoka! Akarui!”

As if on que, Over heard by everyone, would be Lieutenant Yasu Yugure.
“All available Shinigami, heed this call. A Garganta has appeared in the 77th District of the Eastern Rukongai! Calling all available assets to respond. A Garganta has--”
A Garganta? The Hollow? No That's something the Arrancar are fond of using, but why? How? The Commander saw to it they would never be organized again. Kiku's wide eyes would turn to Akarui who would be just finishing up healing Captain Oda. Her healing was pretty impressive considering how deadly she was. Shaking off this thought, Kiku focused, it was time to get into gear. He waited for Akarui to heal Tenzen as much as she could, then Letting him stand on his own, Kiku walked past them and towards the puddle. Over hearing the exchange the others had for a brief moment.
"I suggest you hurry. I've done all that I can. Those of who are remaining in this courtyard should answer the summons of Lieutenant Yūgure."
"I appreciate your help uhh, Gekko-san. You there, Shunkan-san, once you have finished your orders meet me in the 77th district. I will meditate on your transfer to my Division based on your performance. Kido Corps, let’s go.”
Finally, they all vanish to do their jobs. Kiku let's out a long sigh, this has been much more of an interesting day indeed. Now with no eyes on him he would summon a surprising well of reiatsu into his zanpakuto. Pulling it from it's sheath the reverse bladed Zanpakuto splashes with water as he unleashes it.
"Soji (掃除, Clean)"
Water rushes around the blade until it glows white and transforms with another splash. His Zanpakuto now a mop, Kiku hovers over the puddle, looking down at it. This really was a whole Shinigami. Sad. He then presses his Mop head against the puddle. Without pause it is instantly turned harmless and then sucked up into the mops many bristles like it never existed in the first place. Looking up the steps to the Meeting hall, Kiku would sigh and then walk inside. Slowly pushing the doors open to show a dimly lit and blood splattered room. Compressing the Reiatsu in his Zanapkuto and controlling the power it used, Kiku would splash the Mop head against any misplaced Rubble and pool or splatter of blood.

It only took him a little to make the room 'clean' again. The missing chunks in the wall would have to be remade from Reshi and the cuts that are left by the Captains Zanpakuto would also need to be filled. But the blood and the Rubble were gone and the room for the exception of being destroyed was clean. Spotless even. There were no traces of their ever being other Shinigami here as Kiku's Shikai erased everything except the room itself. Hoisting it over his shoulder he looked around one final time before taking his leave. He exited the Captains Hall and filtered down the steps in his typical lazy motion.
Walking onto the grass, he would drain the mop and let dirty water spill into the grass. Watching it become absorbed for a while, Kiku would then look off towards the Rukongai 77th District. A splash of water would cascade down his exposed arm. The water spilling back into his Sealed reverse blade, Kiku would then sheath the sword and vanish. His lazy composure flickering to and from roof top to roof top with the familiar clacking noise the tiles made.
