"Lieutenant Suta of Squad Five..."
284ae7e013d8e85eb72e4353a03f4a18.png

"Four days ago, Fifth Division was tasked with locating the source of the Soul King’s blood... ...Current Captain, Itsuki Asakura was already investigating the 77th District... ...Eizoku Yugameru of Squad Five joined unexpectedly. He has since been imprisoned for abandoning his post... In the attempt to freeze the Blood using kido and then release Hado 88 with full incantation from four Kido specialists from the Kido Corps... ...It backfired completely. It seemed as though the Soul King’s blood was able to absorb the power of the Kido and use it against us and the environment... ...A Garganta, one that was so large it was able to swallow the massive encampment, but instead it only took the blood, every last drop, and just like that, it closed... ..Unfortunately, I could do nothing having been attacked by the Hollow affliction inside of me. I was detained by Captain Oda... ...The Garganta that appeared, is likely the same one that appeared in the World of the living and released the blood absorbed from here. I fear that there is something or someone pulling the strings in the dark. I’ve never seen a Garganta that large before, it almost seemed like it was controlled."
“With all due respect Lieutenant Hagashi ...please restrain yourself, this isn’t a playground for you to casually destroy. Now that you've made me bleed I'll ask that you please be considerate of others. We aren’t enemies here but fellow shinigami.. comrades. You should focus your strength on the actual threats, our true enemies. Now, I'd like to get this meeting over with and go about my day to plan the funeral ahead of us.”

Watching red spill from a cut upon Fuyuko which was a direct result of that woman’s ferocious temper did not phase Lieutenant Hageshi. They were Shinigami and powerful ones at that! It would have been laughable for something as miniscule as a tiny cut to truly bother any of them! Hell, it was GOOD for them! Neither should a broken table even if it had served as a passive arm or leg rest for a couple in the room.
3fb20e22769ab2e491da74a38f3c79d5.png

“Having to go through that must have been quite the rollercoaster for the both of you...and the situation in the living world as well. Lieutenant Suta, I hope for your safety that you can control this...hollow inside of you and not let it control you. If you were to let it run your life, I believe our new Captain Commander will not be pleased given his hate for anything hollow related… I would hate to see you go to waste.”
All of the discussion about inner afflictions that being products of a sort of Hollow infestation intrigued Hageshi for a moment. Most of Lieutenant Kasumi’s gentle concerns and scolding were lost on her but there was something that stuck. What else but the growing desire to test this secret strength that she urged Suta to get under control. Then there was the quiet wish he did the opposite so that once they inevitably crossed swords, she’d be able to contend with him wildly with nothing to hold the two of them back. True and total carnage. Just the fantasy of such a confrontation cued Omoni’s Reiryoku to begin flaring alive once more.
“The last week, hell the last few months have been an utter shit show.”
8d1bd3e2605f16ec7a4515775cb899f6.png

That was the biggest understatement of the century. Torn away from her fumes, Omoni’s attention was fixated on Jinnosuke for a second time and this only added to her frustrations. Without much to say of value, she actively went back to ignoring his speaking until she only registered the last of what he was spouting.
“Jinnosuke Uekū, Lieutenant of Eleventh division. I apologize to the rest of you if I don't know your name or face; I tend to isolate myself in either injuries or training, a trend I am happy to announce has come to an end. Regardless of this report, Eleventh is ready to serve.”
At least he sounded as if he was done indulging in bad habits that kept stunting his growth as a Lietutenant and Shinigami. Training in excruciating ways seemed to be his specialty, but now it was time to dedicate those hours to performing the feats he’d achieved in a way that would help protect the Soul Society and all that it possessed dominion over. Seemed like he was finally getting serious. Annoyed for no apparent reason, Hageshi shut her irritated leer away from Ueku.

Snapping her back to reality, First Division Honoka’s Spiritual Power flexed itself in opposition to her own attempting domination and immediately it was clear that Omoni had crossed a line. She had seen red so fervently that she’d ignored the respect she owed to her comrades in the room. The effects coursed through every vein in her body and her flesh began to tear in the presence of the angered First Lieutenant. Simultaneously, she could feel her own impending hunger for more begin to creep up inside of her and threaten to boil over which would have meant declaring violence and blood to be shed between the two women. Each terrifically monstrous in their own way. Just imagine the both of them entangled in a viscous mound of plants being thrashed upon by impossible brutal strength with their reiatsu erupting in order to boast dominion over one another. Neither lwould let up and the Soul Society compounding cataclysmic damage as the mammoths feuded.

Although the idea of clashing blades with the legendary Oki woman was incredibly tempting...ultimately Hageshi decided against it and settled back into her seat without further defiance. There was no need for more than that after all, it looked as if Honoka had already cleaned up the mess Omoni had made and all was well for now. Besides, she had already silently vowed that soon she’d see Suta again and no one would be able to stop her from making what had happened right.
75ad8cac9db95c9a680385051520a138.png

"Lieutenant Hageshi...Your mission was to procure a hollow to heal Jinnosuke, by becoming distracted from your mission, not only was Lieutenant Ueku incapacitated for an extended period of time, the enemy acquired your zanpakuto abilities, it claimed countless lives of fellow shinigami as it was able to heal itself repeatedly. Even the Quincy suffered casualties! And while we have ability to heal damage, we cannot revive the dead!"
Her cerulean stare was locked on Honoka as she addressed her. Having just expelled a mass of aggressive spiritual power, she was still very combative and was looking for anything that the woman said that would piss her off more than she already was. There was plenty. Honestly, Omoni knew she had screwed up when she had elected to stay in order to face the Togabito but the way Lieutenant Oki was interpreting it was totally off base. Yea it was safe to say that when she could, she would stop at nothing to put herself between the biggest baddest player on the field and those she was entrusted to protect. That was just it, security. This time, Omoni had opted to stay because she had assessed what little she knew of the horrific opponent well enough to understand that if she had left then there would have been more lives lost than had been. More than likely this would have Included the very one sitting at the table with them, now newly promoted Lieutenant Katsuo Oda. The actions she had taken had been to protect humans and Shinigami alike and indirectly Quincy. Surely, the two of them would never agree on this point and so, Omoni sat stewing in her silence and waited as Honoka went on.
"Had Ueku's healing taken priority, the number of casualties would have been lessened. Still, in the end, not only were you able to complete your mission, you were also able to put an end to the Togabito, preventing further casualties. I just ask that you do not let your desire to fight strong opponents hinder your ability to perform."
Ending on a lighter note, Hageshi was satisfied that the good of what she had done was acknowledged and took into account Honoka’s conclusion. Perhaps the next round she’d be a little more thoughtful instead of impulsive.
“Fat chance...KEKEKEKE!”
Deep within the bowels of her consciousness, the Oni Empress scoffed. How ungrateful these Shinigami could be. Without her, all of them would have been obliterated and she greatly wanted to make this known. Alas, the only person she could communicate her frustrations to was Omoni and right now, she seemed determined to put her Zanpakuto’s qualms aside for now. That was fine, they’d settle things at a later time.
As per usual, Hageshi zoned out of the remainder of the meeting until it appeared to come to a close. This was one of her habits and probably one of the reasons when someone brought something up of relevance she didn’t remember a thing about it’s existence and would need to be informed on the spot. She preferred it that way, so her mind wasn’t overwhelmed with all sorts of information she had to keep track of. This was also one of the reasons she denied taking the Captaincy test, too much responsibility and just the idea she’d have to keep track of so much intel was making her dizzy.

"My heart goes out to each one of you who suffered casualties. I know we build bonds with our teammates, even if we are not related by blood, we trust each other with our lives in the midst of battle, not everyone is lucky enough to return. They are indeed our family and our friends, and are irreplaceable."

The touching words the first’s Lieutenant recited were cut short for Hageshi as she dug into her vibrating bosom. She retrieved a cigar and her outdated Denreishiki and flipped it open to reveal a mass of texts indicating that the city of Naruki and agents of the 10th as well as one from the first was under attack by multiple Arrancar. These were exceptionally powerful enemies that would provide a huge amount of casualties and the window to make a move was getting smaller by the second the longer she waited around. Of course there was no current request for fourth’s aid but she had to take this to the Kid. He’d know what to do.
"Their lives were not lost in vain, and they will be remembered. They have honored their names, their family, and the Gotei 13. First Division will cover the funerary services for each fallen warrior."
There was no time to wait around and listen to what any of them had to say any longer. While she lit the end of her cigar and puffed a few times, Omoni stood up from the table and exited the chamber through the doors and from there with the help of her device’s GPS she set her sights on the fourth division barracks where she intended on finding Yu in order to determine what would be done about the call from Naruki.

” Lieutenant Suta I hope for your safety that you can control this...hollow inside of you and not let it control you. If you were to let it run your life, I believe our new Captain Commander will not be pleased given his hate for anything hollow related. I would hate to see you go to waste.”
Lieutenant Kasumi’s statement and concern failed to go unnoticed, but having to continue with his report he couldn’t reply as he would’ve liked. After seating himself, folding his arms, he’d deliver a glance in her direction, nodding. While it was subtle, she eventually got on with her own report. Remaining true to her word, she kept it brief and short. Naruki also received an unsuspecting visitor from hell. Unable to venture out to defend her jurisdiction had to be upsetting, but her role had to have been considered. These Togaibto’s were troublesome and prompted the release of a Bankai from both Lieutenant, Jinnouske, and Omoni. It is possible that Lieutenant Kasumi would have survived, but there was a possibility that she could have died in the midst of battle. Their squad lost a valuable and upstanding asset, they could not afford to lose their very own Lieutenant. Restricting her access to Senkaimon may have been a means to protect her…
Behind Lieutenant Kasumi’s report came Jinnosuke Ueku, and within his report, he is reminded of the God-King’s finger, something of high value, high importance. Something he needed to tend to once he got back to his barracks. As his report continued, Arashi could admire one aspect of Lieutenant Ueku. His tenacity. Having been healed only to rush to the battlefield as quickly as possible to assist in the defeat of Sword Eater. Truly a warrior, a fighter, and Arashi would need to take a page from him. It seemed his report would be the shortest of anybody here, but of course, they still had Squad 13s finest, Lieutenant Oda, new and improved.
The kind and gentle soul lived through his own trials and tribulations, surviving the invasion, and played a pivotal role that brought his comrades more time. Unfortunately, he would be another to have lost a Squad member and several more members of 13. Of course, he still felt the need to prove himself to all of the Lieutenants, which is an understandable goal to have. However, Arashi finds the eyes of the Oda upon him, but he wouldn’t turn his head in his direction. He’d have his ear, however, as he did throughout the entirety of this meeting.
" What you said before you left us at Division thirteen, was completely true. I'm weak. And... I want to be stronger... I'll get stronger… too much is at stake for me to hold off any longer…"
Even with words directed towards his former superior and Squadmate, he’d receive no words from him. Silently, Arashi wishes the best for him and hopes that he can become a powerful Soul reaper that can protect the values he holds so deeply to his heart. Arashi also hoped that he would understand that he can not save everybody, not even Oyama Hoshi should she become the enemy. As a warrior, one must close their heart to another’s desperation, close their heart to others' emotions… To be effective in combat. To be true to the blade. Lieutenant Oda is the last to report, and with the table reformed it is not upon Lieutenant Oki to give her feedback and conclude this meeting…
She addressed all within the room, some receiving praise, and others scolding. However, her first statement to Arashi, left him slightly perplexed, opening a single eye in her direction.
" Lieutenant Suta, nevermind the Soul King's river of blood..."
Forget the blood? He never expected her to say something like this, but as she continued, She’d remind him of far more pressing matters that needed his immediate attention as well…
" ...considering it's unpredictable reactions, you lost control of yourself in such a precarious situation? Do you realize the severity of this? You need to subdue your affliction."
He did understand and had things gone too far, he’d be dead by the hands of his Captain or even Captain Asakura. His eye closed, reflecting on the situation once again.
" I'm assuming neither of you has had a chance to train and hone that ability. You are to train under supervision, with kids masters on standby for barriers, as well as restoration. If you feel that you'd like my assistance, I will attend. These sessions should include your captain as well, Suta-san. While Captain Oda was able to restrain you this time, he may not be there next time you lose control, and the closest person may not offer you the luxury of restrains; they may simply cut you down where you stand. I'm certain you both are very aware of this possibility. Also, the finger in Fifth's custody is to be turned over to Twelfth Division for analysis. It is unconfirmed if this is truly the God King's finger, or simply a random hollows. And the fact it was so easily accepted as such is beyond me. In the event that it is the finger of the God-King, Kido Corps will reseal it, and turn it into the custody of the First Division. This is not optional."
Her statements matched what he already knew. It is true that he may not be so lucky next time. Lieutenant Yugure and himself needed to subdue this Hollow that could’ve easily cause the eradication of their lives as a Soul reaper… Regardless, he was given orders to reseal the God-King’s finger and bring it to the First Division… The final words of Lieutenant Oki concluded the meeting and the first to go was none other than Lieutenant Yugure. Swift and silent as expected, but he is sure to see her soon along with his Captain. Next to go was Omoni Hageshi, but even with her disappearance, he was sure that he would be seeing her, or rather, crossing blades with her. With everybody starting to leave, he’d be next to go. Rising from his chair, he’d bow to the rest of the Lieutenants and to the Head Lieutenant, effectively seeing himself out of the Lieutenants hall and the barracks all together with a flash-step.

Ryuga-Divider.png

At full speed, Ryuga flies towards Izanagi and the only thing he thinks about is that either Izanagi avoids him or he will be responsible for a death. In an instant, the gap between the two men has shrunk dramatically and if Ryuga had just stretched out his arms, he would surely have been able to reach Izanagi. But suddenly Izanagi disappears from his sight without a trace behind him and Ryuga can not stop himself from flying straight into the huge mountain wall. Ryuga only has time to lift his arms in front of him and form an X with them to protect himself from the impact he would soon feel.
”Good move.. soldier.”
These two words were all he had time to think about before hitting the rock wall. The sound from when Ryuga hit the wall the sound from him could probably be heard far away almost like a bomb exploding. A cloud of dust now covers the man and inside of it only his legs can be seen sticking out from the wall. Almost any other shinigami would have fainted or been seriously injured by the force this impact had but not Ryuga. At the last second before hitting the wall, he used his arms as a shield to absorb the impact. After a while, the cloud begins to disappear with the wind and all that is seen are two legs hanging out from the wall. Slowly, Ryuga begins to try to pull himself out of the wall and he succeeds but lands on his back on the ground where he hears Izanagi shouting at him.
”Oi! Old man Iba! Something big is going down in the world of the living. It might be some serious trouble. As much as I rather sleep, should we have a look or report to the Lieutenant first? I know she might be in that meeting or whatever, but I do not wish to hear her mouth, or maybe Shizuka?”
All days of training most have made both the two shinigami tired and far from being in their best shape for battle but the concern about what is going on in the world of the living was huge. Ryuga did not want to let more people die because he did not help or at least did not try and he quickly stood up facing Izanagi. At the same time, Ryuga has avoided meeting their Lieutenant the last few days out of shame and worry about what would happen because he did not follow orders.
”If there are serious problems over there, we do not have time to report and even less time to look for our Lieutenant! Get ready Izanagi. We have to get to the world of the living and we do not have time to use the Senkaimon. I'm going to do something I should not but we do not have time to waste!”
Ryuga's muscles tense up and quickly grabbed his Zanpakutō and pulled it out from its sheath. He grabs the handle with both hands and calls out the release command to activate his shikai.
”Tear it apart Amikiri!”
And as he said it the whole blade starts to glow in a golden and red color and as the sword itself disappears so will the light that was around it be around both of Ryuga's two hands that he is separating fast from each other. When the light around the fists fades away so will his Shikai be shown as it takes the appearance of a unique design of a pair of golden and red gauntlet gloves with a trio of grand, curving blades extending out from between the four knuckle-guards.
ryuga_shikai-1-2.png

''Blinking Passage ( 点滅通路, "Tenmetsu Tsūro"; "Flashing Passage").''
And with the words said almost whispering, he makes a simple motion and pulls his right hand down. The blades slowly rip open a rift in the fabric of space in front of Ryuga in the shape of a tear that fast opens up to a size that would allow him to walk easy into it. As Ryuga tears open the rift another matching rift opens simultaneously in the world of the living and more specifically in Naruki City and he will jump into the portal.

"we'll have more arriving soon, hopefully with our Lieutenant. We'll be waiting for them now!"
"we'll have more arriving soon, hopefully with our Lieutenant. We'll be waiting for them now!"
Now that they both transfer their Reiryoku to the gate it would begin to open and as the doors opening a white light emanates from the inside of it and extends upward into the sky of Soul Society just like when Eizoku had to walk into it. Shortly afterwards, the group of shinigami from Division 13 began to run into the light one by one and the last of them stopped and said a few words and advice to the two gatekeepers before he also left.
"Not to be rude but, as a pointer you should keep the gate closed unless or until more from our Division arrive; as a precaution. Good Luck to you both; I hope to come back through and see your faces again. If others from 13th arrive tell them we went ahead."
Ryugas_rpc_line.png

Takashi's looked at the man before he follow his group and Takashi gave a friendly nod at him. When the last shinigami left, he again moved his hand away from the gate so that it would begin to close again. Just like just minutes before, they are standing there guarding the gate, waiting for more people to pass through it. With a thoughtful look, Takashi looks at the two Kido corps members who are also with Himari and him.
"You two! keep an eye on the gate while I try to locate where the rest of the division 13 members are somewhere and Himari, I would appreciate if you keep an eye on my Denreishinki and your own if we get any news about the transport."
Now again begins Takashi to use Reikaku (霊覚, "Spiritual Sense") and first he senses the reiatsu from Himari and the other two standing at the gate before his search begins to spread over most of the barracks. Every individual in and around the barracks gets Takashi's attention but nothing seems to be different from the last time he looked.

”"not to be rude but, as a pointer you should keep the gate closed unless or until more from our Division arrive; as a precaution. Good Luck to you both; I hope to come back through and see your faces again. If others from 13th arrive tell them we went ahead."
Himari was annoyed, mainly because of their tone. She wasn’t stupid, of course she would leave the gate closed until orders were given to someone who needed to pass. She didn’t say anything, but the annoyance was clear on her face as she watched the members of the 13th squad run one by one into the gate, before there were none of them left.
She quickly would set back, not saying a word as she would keep her eyes on the gate. She wondered if Eizoku was alright, and what mission their captain had led him on, all alone. She would sigh as she would stand up looking at Takashi as he spoke.
"You two! keep an eye on the gate while I try to locate where the rest of the division 13 members are somewhere and Himari, I would appreciate if you keep an eye on my Denreishinki and your own if we get any news about the transport."
And once again, Himari was annoyed. She had been trying to calm herself down since the whole ideal from her looking stupid for not checking her Denreishinki to see the message to allow the 13th division members. Even though she still felt like they should have had proof of them being in said division, she was only a fourth seat. She had no say in that matter, Tenzen did. But now Takashi thought she was some phone holder.
” I’d appreciate it if you would take your own Denreishinki. I’m not no bus girl.”
She would said this with a little bit in her voice before she would quickly walk over to him, not caring if he was scanning the area for anyone to come by. Himari would be able to feel their spiritual pressure before they even were near them, there was no need for that. She would be holding out his Denreishinki in her hand, anger clearly showing in her face without saying anything else.
