The sounds of muffled quickened footsteps came to a halt as the man had finally, after quite some time, successfully transversed from the fourth division, to the southeastern portion of the Seireitei arriving at the main gate of the Kido Corps. He had come to a temporary halt himself, around the fifteen foot mark in order to draw a clear indication to any of the individuals whom had been in charge of the security measures to prevent unauthorized entry, that he had not been attempting a breach. Eizoku, although not holding any notable official position within the fifth division, had been frequently seen and was well known throughout the quarters. From these past visits he had known it to be protocol to be approached and questioned by at least one or two individuals to formally be interrogated regarding a name, status, and authorized reason for desired entry of the quarters with a form of proof.
He would once again begin walking, making his way towards the entry point, his unrestrained dreadlock in the front swinging back and forth in reaction to his pacing. His face as unreadable as ever, with every step he took, the feeling that something strange indeed was about to unfold grew increasingly stronger. So much in fact that he could no longer bear the anticipation of waiting to be approached, and as a result, outside of his normal composure and respect for doing things formally, would began to raise his voice slightly whilst vocalizing his reason for being present at the establishment, more than sure that his message could be clearly and audibly heard by those in the nearby vicinity on guard positions.
"Eizoku Yugameru of the fifth division requesting information or clues about the current whereabouts or spotting of Lieutenant Arashi Suta and fourth seat Himari Shumi. I have business with the two in regards relaying the information of a major recent happening as well as a handful of other classified objectives and information to present. However they have seemingly been "absent", and have not been spotted in their barracks or personal quarters, for a notable amount of time today."
With his claim stated he would completely stop in his tracks standing upright looking directly ahead in wait for the response of whomever it was that would reply, hopefully providing him with either further access into the headquarters, or some form of answer and clue pertaining to their current locations. Hopefully it would be a speedy exchange, he hadn't been one whom cared to have his time wasted, or waste another individual's respectively.

Always alert, always ready to intercept any threat whether it be shinigami or any other unwelcome presence. The guards outside of Head Quarters quickly lock their sights to an individual. Without words, they acknowledged his presence, his demeanor, his purposeful approach. They position themselves respectfully, facing the man that wasn’t quite yet familiar, at least to them… Having no official position or title as of yet, made this the result. Before they could address him, Eizoku speaks.
"Eizoku Yugameru of the fifth division requesting information or clues about the current whereabouts or spotting of Lieutenant Arashi Suta and fourth seat Himari Shumi. I have business with the two in regards to relaying the information of a major recent happening as well as a handful of other classified objectives and information to present. However they have seemingly been "absent", and have not been spotted in their barracks or personal quarters, for a notable amount of time today."
What information could he possibly have for both the Lieutenant and the Fourth Seat? Information that obviously could not wait until their return. His tone, his body language, seemed to make him more adamant. The guards before him nod, and allow him access to Headquarters.
”Proceed towards the end of the hall. THe High Priest will have the information on the current location of Lieutenant Suta and Fourth Seat Himari Shumi..”
The building is crowded with members of the Kido Corps, moving with haste, coupled with daily tasks to make sure everything is and will remain secure. Down the hall Eizoku is instructed to follow, the very walls are lined with the same guardsmen that stand before him now. Outstanding self-control, their positions and posture never once flinch or move to adjust. Mimicking statues at their best, it would seem as though these men are incapable of breathing or even blinking.
Eizoku will find himself at the double doors at the end of the hall, two more guards standing on either side, however, these men wore blue coats over their black traditional robes. These men are directly under the High Priestess, acting as her shield and sword in most cases unless she needs to step in herself. All members of Headquarters are well equipped with experience and massive knowledge in regards to kido, however, these men along with the High Priest stand high above the rest in terms of proficiency and skill.
When the doors finally open, they will reveal a desk and a large oval room and in the center the High Priestess seated at her desk, organizing papers and completing specific documents related to the duties of Head Quarters. She managed every section, everybody, and every task. Standing near the wall of her office are the same members who stood near the door to her office. Just as still and as motionless as the men that lined the hallway as aforementioned. Even without speaking, without looking, she demands the utmost respect from Eisoku, his approach will determine her words for her next course of action. While a member of Division Five, Eisoku will not be treated any differently or with special treatment. So, how will Eizoku approach?
Priestess.png

All of their faces were covered by robes and garments, but her’s a visor that covered the entirety of her face. Made to be dense, her face and eyes remain hidden, Unable to predict her expression. Nothing but her hands move as she takes down notes, highlighting important facts, stamping documents of approval. Not one time did other parts of her move to adjust, not even her head turns in any direction. Clearly she is busy and Eizoku will have to bring a good reason for interrupting her.

Eizoku, although pleased that he had been allowed entry, was rather surprised by the fact that he was indeed allowed in despite having no official verification or order. Perhaps his demeanor and his rather serious attitude he tended to so prevalently display came in handy. The air of profession about him perhaps adding to the seriousness of his tone when relaying his message with a sense of conviction and truth that swayed them to allow entry, perhaps it had just been on a whim. Confirmed with a nodding of one of the guards which had occupied the vicinity, Eizoku took it into account as being a sign of approval to push forward, before being given the verbal instructions to proceed directly ahead towards the end of the hall he would enter.
Eizoku proceeded forward as instructed, the halls lined with a plethora of Kido Corps member, their stance, concentration, and composure unbreaking. It was obvious that these men had been very well trained and disciplined, yet, so had Eizoku. His composure, expression, and the way in which he had carried himself would be just as they were, and as such, he hadn't even glanced in their general direction nor did his eyes stray once from his target straight ahead. Upon reaching the end of the hall, the man would notice in the change of uniform from the general corps members, versus the actual attire of the men whom stood before him. It was an obvious sign that their positions had been higher than the rest, yet this did not deter or intimidate him in the slightest, even in the midst of the two opening the door for the man his attention would not stray to either of them. It was obvious to the man that the individual whom would be in front of him within the approaching room would very well be in charge over either a portion of the men here, or in fact the entire headquarters; meaning respect and formality was an essential aspect before commencing with his intended questioning. The air of the room being emitted by the woman demanded no less, despite her not even taking notice of the rather young Shinigami.
After entering through the rather grand doors, Eizoku immediately began speaking as he took a kneel on one knee after crossing the threshold.
"Eizoku Yugameru of division five. I apologize for the interruption and unscheduled visit amidst your duties. Permission to speak?"
Eizoku would wait for a moment before looking for some form of approval to speak before continuing, rather it be verbal or non-verbal, if a form of approval is spotted he would proceed whilst still kneeling before lowering his head to speak once more.
"Admittedly, my original purpose for coming to the headquarters was to find information about the current whereabouts of two of the seated members within the fifth division. I had been directly assigned to report to Lieutenant Arashi in regards to receiving my assigned duties of the day, as well as delivering a multitude of official reports under order of the captain. However, upon an arrival and searching of both their private quarters along with the division barracks, neither he nor Himari Shumi could be found for nearly the entirety of the day thus far, the same applies to the division members whom had not spotted them either. I quite frankly would have been fine for simply waiting this out and continuing a prolonged search and inquisition for information for the remainder of the day, however doing so thus far had proven futile and a waste of time. That, coupled with the fact of the unexpected arrival and delivery of a hollow directly into fifth division quarters with an apparent emergency within the world of the living that retrieved a good portion of our own troops as backing, leaving us both shorthanded, and worst of all without direction or leadership amidst the time of a pending crisis. In their absence, I took control to the best of my ability getting the situation under hand and carried out the sudden assigned tasks without any errors. However, makeshift unauthorized and unofficial leadership can only go so far."
His explanation although rather longwinded, was nothing but honest, and the tone backing it only served to show the potential severity of the situation. Although not being the responsibility of the corps, it still served as a danger for an entire division to be unprepared during such extenuating circumstances with a lack of leadership, and would certainly prove to be a bad reflection on both the Captain and Lieutenant, along with the division as a whole. Which in turn, could reflect badly on the corps themselves by means of association.
Eizoku's eyes would once again focus themselves upon the ground beneath him as he remained kneeled, before taking into notice a strand of greenish blond hair upon the floor beneath him. "So he has been here...", he thought to himself upon the quick analysis of the strand.
"I implore you to please provide me some form of hinting or information pertaining to their whereabouts if you are aware of anything. Surely he has been here, and more than likely very recently being that the headquarters is spotless and keen without so much as a single piece of trash being found, nor a document out of place. Yet, a strand of Lieutenant Arashi's hair lies here on the floor. His recent presence here is certainly undeniable."
Perhaps his analytical skills and the way he both presented and carried himself, along with the reports of his leadership would underline his all around base capabilities and stature despite not being a seated member, so much so that she would provide him some information pertaining to the whereabouts of the two. Besides, the presented evidence of his departure was already evident and made known, lying about the information or failing to provide anything sifficient would only serve to spike the man's curiosity and lead him to spread his search to other areas of the Seireitei, thus unknowingly to him, increasing the potential risk of other individuals prying into the current situation and running the risk of the revealing and piecing together of their potential tasks had assigned them earlier. What would she do? How would she respond?

Surprising indeed. Is Headquarters so lackluster in their security that they would allow just about anyone to enter without proper verification or even an order? EIzoku believed this professionalism, the seriousness of his demeanor held some form of merit, persuading the guardsmen of the front gate to allow his passage. However, punishment is sure to come, not for Eizoku, but for the men who were told NOT to allow anyone without the proper authority or verification to enter. Eizoku worried not, oblivious to the order given to them, instead he proceeded as instructed. No hindrance in his stride, no fault in his step. He walks with a mission, a purpose. He sought answers, but will he truly receive? He does his best, entering with a profound amount of respect, kneeling before the High Priest just inches past the threshold. The men that line the wall remain stuck, unmoving, and so did the High Priest seemingly. Invisible to Eizoku, her eyes had trailed from her paperwork, a quick glance to his immediate entry and positioning.
Her attention returns, she doesn’t stand to face him, she doesn’t move a mile to exert herself from the hefty amount of paperwork. Soon Eizoku speaks, relaying what he deems to be important to her.
“Eizoku Yugameru of division five. I apologize for the interruption and unscheduled visit amidst your duties. Permission to speak?"
He waits for something he will not receive. His search became futile in regards to his freedom to speak. He always has this freedom, since he was so freely allowed to roam these halls. He’d receive no confirmation of any kind, but the atmosphere would be so still and quiet, eventually, he would have no choice but to speak, to break the silence once more. His mouth opens, he speaks again…
"Admittedly, my original purpose for coming to the headquarters was to find information about the current whereabouts of two of the seated members within the fifth division. I had been directly assigned to report to Lieutenant Arashi in regard to receiving my assigned duties of the day, as well as delivering a multitude of official reports under the order of the captain. Every word spoken is heard, is understood, still, she gives no significant expression to show him so. She remains, with her eyes locked into her duties, her pen jotting down notes and highlighting important facts. Once again, he is oblivious, she has already begun writing down every word he had just said. Her potential goal, to report to Lieutenant and/or Captain Oda at the earliest moment possible, if need be, for now, she keeps the matter within her records. Setting that note to the side, she returns to her previous collection of duties, continuing on to those. Should Eizoku have anything else to add, now is his time, he currently has the floor, still. For now, silence seeps in, spreading as fast as wildfire. The heartbeat of every man lining the walls is feint but heard.
“I implore you to please provide me some form of hinting or information pertaining to their whereabouts if you are aware of anything. Surely he has been here, and more than likely very recently is that the headquarters is spotless and keen without so much as a single piece of trash being found, nor a document out of place. Yet, a strand of Lieutenant Arashi's hair lies here on the floor. His recent presence here is certainly undeniable."
Truly adamant, having found evidence of Lieutenant Suta’s appearance here. Did he believe that she or anyone else here would construct a lie, would be unwilling to tell him? When did he receive this notion or misconception? Finally, She raises her head. Finally, she stands from her seat, taking steps towards the front of her desk, slowly approaching the kneeling Eizoku. Her hands moved behind her backside at the lower section, clasp together, back of one hand to the palm of the other. Still no expression and even though she stands closer now, her face is still unable to be seen through the visor. Now she truly acknowledges him and his concerns.
” It seems that security has become lackluster at the front gates. I will have to discipline them as soon as I am done here. You, one who is not a seated officer, but merely a member of the Division, show great promise. Indeed, Lieutenant Arashi Suta was here, he has been sent on a mission along with Fourth Seat Himari Shumi. They are currently investigating a matter within Rukongai, District 77. If you choose to venture out to assist them, I advise that you wait for the return of Captain Oda, who is currently involved in a meeting with the other Captains.”
The Overseer of Headquarters, her orders are the extension of the Commander of the Kido Corps, but with him being away, she holds no authority to issue an order for him to be released to the Rukongai. The matter is dangerous, a possible chance that it may turn deadly and unforgiving. An expedition that is sure to be going on for a while. However, she simply turns away, stepping back to her seat and sitting again, still giving off no feel or emotion of the matter being as difficult as she knew it was.
” Is there anything else I can assist you with, Eizoku Yugameru?”
Returning to her work, her ears are still tuned to the young man before her now. What decision will he make, having received the necessary information to act? Will he await the return of Captain Oda or will he venture off immediately to assist them? Both decisions are likely to have consequences, ones that he may need to consider. If he had nothing else to say, she would prepare the report for both Lieutenant Suta and Captain Oda regarding the incident with the hollow, and the members of Squad Five who have been sent to help.

The woman, after seemingly ignoring Eizoku for the majority of his speaking despite his formality, began speaking. The first words to depart from her lips had rather stung the man at the mention of him not being a seated officer, only to be followed by an unexpected compliment of him showing potential. He was unaware of how to formally process such speech for he was unsure if this was a compliment or an insult guised as a means of commending him for finding evidence of his Lieutenant's recent visit.Yet, all of this had been thrown out the moment she gave mention to the direct location of both him and Himari, finally some headway in his search, perhaps all the time invested into his searches hadn't been a complete waste after all. This information however was given out far too freely, but Eizoku would soon come to understand why as she gave the warning that the man should wait until the releasing of the captains from their meeting in order to receive confirmation and approval to head out towards the Rukongai, but there was no telling how long that'd be. Pondering over the warning advice momentarily, Eizoku would find several loop holes in this mention, the main one in particular being that his assignment was to find and report to Lieutenant Arashi relaying any necessary information. This order however gave no restrictions or specific location as to when and where, thus meaning if he so chose to go meet up and assist the seated members with their current mission in order to relay the information he had recently delivered to the priestess, he technically would not be disobeying his orders. With that his mind had been made his decision.
The woman turned away before asking if there was any other statements that he would like to make before his departure. The answer to that had been a simple no, confirmed by the man's rising from his knees while verbalizing,
"No, that is all. Thank you. I'll be taking my leave now, my apologies for the intrusion."
And with that, he turned heel and began walking himself towards the direction in which he entered. His new destination, Rukongai, District 77. The minute he had crossed over the threshold of the exit, the man had began transversing across the Seireitei once more by means of Shunpo, making his way towards the district at a rapid pace.Southeast Seireitei -> Rukongai
