They couldn't be cut, and the water seemed to not affect them. Koyo's actions had little effect as the dome closed around him. Paper cuts had begun to form on his body as he gritted his teeth. Thankfully he'd been used to pain ever since he was born. Raising the pressure of the water was out as it wouldn't work either. The density of the steam also didn't matter that much. He had two other things he could attempt, but they weren't things he could suggest. Thankfully the water, steam, and heat didn't harm Koyo. He would begin to consider the paper now and what was happening.
His body temperature was rising, causing sweat to drip down. Koyo knew the direction Komamura-san was in and turned to face it. He didn't make any further movements with his Zanpakuto as of yet. The feeling of the papercuts was painful and did strike him across his body. The pain did seem worse when liquid was added to the mix. But, it wasn't anything akin to the pain Koyo experienced growing up. The first issue was the dome surrounding him; cutting with water didn't seem to work. So the next solution was to attack Komamura-san.
Koyo had two solutions using his Zanpakuto left to him. Both weren't precisely pleasant experiences for him or anyone. But it was time to focus on what needed to be done. "Ye lord! Mask of and flesh, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams, unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws. Hado 33 Sokatsui." A small ignition of blue appeared on the palm of his hand. He pointed it towards the air, and hopefully, it blasted a hole in the doom he could get out. If not, he'd merely made the situation worse for himself. He'd released his reiryoku, but on the off chance, he failed. He'd already begun to do something.
Koyo could command water, it was usually hot and scalding, but he could do one other thing. The drops and even the moisture in the air began to move. Koyo had done something inside and outside of that bubble. Commanding the water, if any were on Komamura-san, he'd noticed it. But the pressure had been changed, and it wasn't a small change. He'd decided the water pressure needed to be different now. Within the world of the living existed a place. Where the psi was at 15,750. The weight of 100 elephants on one's body. By holding his Zanpakuto, Koyo wasn't immune to this pressure. But the effect was lowered upon his body because it was done through the wooden plank.
If the escape was presented, Koyo would use Hoho and come out with blood drips running down his arms and face. Transmitting the pressure of the heat and such to his Zanpakuto caused it to hiss. As steam leaked from the wooden plank. Small chips had formed along the wood's surface from the psi inflicted on it. Koyo was just trying things he felt within his power. Experiments he'd done while training alone, he'd never attempted them against a fellow shinigami.
The area around the birds and Komamura-san was a minefield of water droplets containing that heavy pressure. He breathed heavily, showing signs of sweat dripping along with the blood. Being inside and using the Sokatsui had taken a toll on Koyo.
"I only have one other idea; it is not comfortable," Koyo admitted as he caught his breath now, hopefully tasting the free air.
