A Return Home

While he has been gone much has happened in and to his home. Constant explosions and demolishing attacks crater and puncture through the palace that is Las Noches. It is as if the monsters here care nothing for their home or treat it as some sort of achievement to break and destroy the fortress and beacon of Arrancar. It matters not because just as swiftly as damage is done so too is it repaired. All too often those who reside within Las Noches forget they reside within a construct that can and will heal itself from any and all damage. They can fight and blast away all they want, however, the massive structure will continue to persist its existence. Their “play time” destruction will not be seen or noticed by Maximiliano as if it has all been swept under the rug.

CRRRRRRACK

There is the sound of what seems to be glass straining to hold itself together combined with the visual of the air, or rather reality itself, cracking and fracturing at the seams. It isn't long before it explodes outwards into the palace immediately preceded by the God King himself stepping through, his Reiatsu washing over Las Noches once again. His head wrap destroyed by a failed experiment there is nothing holding back the subconscious release of his Reiatsu, it is as if he is saying “I’m home” without ever speaking a word. The Kūmon (空門, Air Gate; Viz "Sky Ridge") created by the Negaccion lingers in the air for a moment causing Max to turn around and look back into the black abyss of the Garganta awaiting his Gigai.

It dawns on him that he did catch a glimpse of that Fullbringer attempting to wrest it from the light of the Negaccion. Max chuckles to himself knowing that the Gigai means nothing, he has already revealed himself, furthermore it is not like he cannot retrieve it himself. The Kūmon behind him closes as he then taps the air creating a Descorrer (解空(デスコレール), Desukorēru; Spanish for "Drawing Back/Opening", Japanese for "Loosed Void") he links a pathway from Las noches to Naruki once more, right below the body the Fullbringer recklessly abandoned allowing it to fall right back into Las Noches. Before it can even touch the ground it is vaporized by a Bala, the Descorrer then closes as Max begins pacing through the Halls of Las Noches.

He senses bouts happening around him, it seems like the Arrancar have kept themselves busy by challenging those who sit at the pinnacle of Hueco Mundo’s power structure. Emilia seems to be locked in battle with Abraam while Helliodoro is fighting against the elusive Elliseo. He smiles as this is a pleasing thought to see the Arrancar applying themselves and fighting to move up the ladder as all Hollow do. There were two new signatures he did not recognize, nothing that would really bring cause for investigation. He did manage to notice Izeel no longer located in Las Noches, same for Marcos, surely no one fought and defeated Marcos and fighting Izeel will gain nothing but ire from the God King. Then there was Grimaldi, he too was missing which was odd in itself, did everyone flee from Las Noches while he was away? He rubs his chin trying to decipher exactly where they had gone when a somewhat familiar signature hits his senses.

He glares in its direction, not out of anger but rather as if he can’t quite put his finger on who it is. It was familiar yet foriegn at the same time, however, with nothing better to do it wouldn’t have hurt to investigate who it was. With a single step he vanishes with Sonido and appears beside Yandiel, staring down at this… Child who is… Swimming in the floor? He raises an eyebrow looking at Yandiel out of confusement at what he was observing. He looks back to the child and only says one word, in a questioning tone.

”Uhh… Elliora?”

Yandiel looked to the tiny creature that had released her grasp of his head and shifted to sit upon his shoulder. Any other Arrancar may have acted more volatile to her mannerisms but for him, he couldn’t care less. If anything he was more so simply confused by what had transpired. Although a clash was occurring he hadn’t paid my mind to it, at least until the girl brought his attention towards it.

"Hm. Mira. They are having fun."

His cerulean orbs glided from her to that of the heated exchange.

Fun.

He supposed that was a way to refer to what he was witnessing. What else was there to do in this wasteland other than flex one’s own strength? Hueco Mundo was a lawless wasteland where power was the only word that really carried weight. There were no other real merits like other factions may find valuable. Even the man who rules over this colorless realm knew that strength was the premium currency. Yandiel wasn’t one to really seek a battle without proper provocation. It was not something born out of any lack of confidence but instead finding senseless combat pointless. If he needs to attack or needs to defend, then fine, he will destroy that which has presented itself. But otherwise, he was just a spectator. Watching what those around him did and learning from it.

"It would seem that way. Helliodoro seems to be at the center of it quite often."

Just as he projected that thought to Elliora she had begun to make her way off from him to stand upon the ground. Well… She tried anyway. Just as she had begun to make any progress her clumsiness displaced her and gravity put in the rest of the work. Destined to meet abruptly with the sands below, she made an attempt to spare herself through the use of the wind. An effort that instead created a space for her to sink into the bleached sand.

"H-hey! Pftftfttrfft!! What do?!"

Needless to say. It didn’t quite go the way she planned.

All Yandiel could do was stand there, frozen by the absurdity of the situation. Was she truly the former Cero Espada? His right eye twitched as she struggled to compose herself, likely making the situation worse for herself in her panic. His dumbfounded trance broke the moment a new presence found their way to his side. His glance met with that of who arrived. It was the God King himself. That mutual look of confusion had provoked a shrug of his own shoulders. For Yandiel who had been here the entire time, it was astonishing. Let alone for Max who simply caught the tail end of it. Clashing Arrancar in the distance and a sinking gremlin before him. Certainly a way to be welcomed home.

"Uhh… Elliora?"

The pale king threw out really the only response that could be had. And with that acknowledgement, Yandiel had brought his gaze back to the girl who managed to stabilize herself in her sandy prison.

"Ptew. Ptew. Elli's okay now. Uh... You say curious about things."

Was she really okay?

"Hmm. Yes, your name, what is it?

As she requested his name, the Mantis had begun to crouch in an attempt to level himself out a bit with Elliora.

"I’m Yandiel… Do you need a hand?"

His offer was obviously solely for her, but he projected his voice also to the God King at his side. He couldn’t help but wonder if she recalled who this new company was. Max certainly exuded an aura that was hard to forget. Yet if she had truly regressed this much from her injuries, she very well may not remember the equine man.

The time between the appearance of this "new" powerful entity and its suddenly appearance beside her and Yandiel is practically nonexistent, giving the sand swimming gremlin only a fraction of a time before this unusually familiar scent to wafts into her nose. She ceases her paddling, having come to a mild understanding of how this new ability works, she begins crawling out of the sand. The man's voice calling her name draws her attention, making her slowly turn her head from the very ground she was crawling out from.

"Uhh… Elliora?"

She stares for a moment, baffled by his instant correct guess to her identity, when she has yet to introduce herself to him. Finally, she emerges fully out of the sand and points down with her right as she shakes the sand off her hair and dress.

". . . Y e s. I drank... ...What was his name.. uh.. the spiky one? and... I learned how to swim."

It's clear she can't think of the oversized creature's name, the monster that threatened her with bone spikes that once protruded from any surface his energy touched. The very arrancar that thought hiding away in a shelter of his own making was enough to protect him from her underhanded attack. All his attempts at offense and defense proved useless against the tiny arrancar's underhanded methods.

But drank? She had done away with him the same exact way she had done the God King's friend, Aragon. Liquefying the entirety of the body and drinking everything. Not a single drop spilled or shared with any other monster, after all, solely her kill, it'd be ridiculous to share her hard earned meal.

"I’m Yandiel… Do you need a hand?"

She looks at the mute's hands, at her own, then back at him with confusion on her face as she raises both hands to him.

"No. I have two."

Elliora turns back to Maximiliano, tilting her head curiously as something about him smells familiar, more so than his own scent. It is faint, something she had forgotten about, but missed. While walking away from Izeel's lab she knew she was missing something, but at the time she could not pinpoint what. For good reason, she could not smell it. But with Maximiliano back in Hueco Mundo, she picks up her faint smell, from him.

With a single index finger, she pokes inside her chest, beneath her hollow hole which lays between her clavicles. Her small finger searches inside as blood drips from the insertion point. She winces lightly as she moves vessels and arteries around, not preoccupied by the damage as it quickly repairs when she moves on to the next spot in search of something. Despite this child form, she is still an arrancar, still a monster. She pulls out her finger, and licks the blood clean off her finger before raising her hand up to the towering, black haired man as the air around her begins to pick up.

The struggle of Abraam’s pull was clearly felt, yet he would find it more difficult than anticipated, her hand and arm traveled up with ease, where her fist connected with the elbow joint of Abraam’s breaking his arm from that point, while she continued to eat the metal on the blade until it broke into two, where the tip would fall down, with only Abraam’s grip preventing the handle of his zanpakutō from falling into the ground. How can this be he must be thinking? His reiryoku should have paralyzed her and made her lethargic, but it was just that a reiryoku based ability that had surrounded his blade only moments ago. It was the energy he used to empower his strength, speed, cero and bala’s and not his reiatsu that he had been emitting since the start of the battle. While true his reiatsu would over power those who were lesser than him it would not be the case with Emilia, the reiryoku she ingested had given her the edge to cause her room to return to normal, as her reiatsu spiked through out the room, returning all the colour, heat, and power into the room.

Abraam didn’t have much time to ponder on his mistake as her hand gripped onto the tricep and bicep of his now broken sword arm, while her zanpakutō came traveling upwards and into the lower abdomen of his body, yet she did not pierce her entire zan clean through instead she had chosen to stop the bladed portion of her halberd half way into his body, before twisting and pulling out his now destroyed liver from his body, where soon the blood and organs begin to fall outwards.

Yet another presence had entered her room, one that didn’t bother to sneak in but rather announce himself in both Reiatsu and speech. Much to the annoyance of Emilia.

“ There are more pressing matters to be concerned about, but if you two wish to continue this pointless display of power then I will be happy to put end to this quicker."”

“This fight is over!”

An audience had been accumulating itself, and she wasn’t liking the idea that she was giving a show of her abilities. Her reiatsu rose upwards once more blanketing the entire room and spilling out into the hallway, while she herself sent out a pulse to see how many more were on the way? Strangely enough there had been another presence in her room. Another one that had been unknown to her, yet she did not say a word about it.

“Izeel, why have you come? What business do you have with either myself or Abraam? And who have you brought with you? Why do they hide?”

She still held the injured lizard by the arm, Her zanpakutō had moved back though angled in such a way that she could blast a cero with any movement she didn’t agree with. She wasn’t a fool; she was weary of him.

“You wouldn’t happen to have a way to make sure this one doesn’t try to continue this fight now do you Izeel? Along with a way to insure he doesn’t die? If our numbers weren’t so low, I would kill him as he is right now, He’s more useful alive than dead.”

If she had to give a compliment to Abraam it was to show her that she needed to work on her speed, and sonido, A goal given to her out of necessity, she wondered what else she’ll have to learn if she were to fight Helliodoro.

The small Elliora tilts her head curiously at Max and not long after that she jabs her index finger into her chest. There is a slight gasp from Max, like an inhale of sorts along with a fluctuation of his Reiatsu. Did this display take him off guard that much? No, that is impossible, there is no way this man could be perturbed by something as “harmless” as watching another being dig around in their chest for something. No, it is what was to come is why he gasped. He knew what she was looking for because it is the same thing that resides inside of him, the Cristal Sangriento. She must have sensed it on him, which was accurate as he had just used it recently, drawing on its power to create a failure. Once her search comes to an end she extends her hand like any demanding child would.

"Give it back."

Max erupted into laughter, reeling back as he grabbed his face and stomach from the sudden demand from the small girl. This was truly a hilarious demand to make considering she was nowhere near as strong as she once was. What could she do in this state besides make demands? Killing off lesser Arrancar meant nothing to Max in the slightest. He eventually settles his laughter, wiping the tears away from his eyes.

”Oh my, niñita, go run along and find another Arrancar to play with. You’re far too small to be trying to cut at the ankles of giants and I mean that in terms of power, not size.”

His interest being lost in the situation he turns his back to her and begins walking away stopping for a moment as he tilts his head to the side, something felt off in Las Noches but he couldn't quite discern what it was yet. He waves to Yandiel as he walks away.

”Enjoy the rest of the day Amigo! There may be a war tomorrow!”

Max alluded to the fact that the Shinigami may not sit idly by now that he has revealed himself and has decimated their upper ranks. He laughs this off because it means nothing to him even if they invade as retaliation. As he is walking away his Millian, Primo, falls from the air above him and lands in his mane of hair. Primo throws his hands in the air as a cheer celebrating Max’s return. Max looks up with his eyes and grins.

”Ah, Primo! Glad to see you again! I already have a job for you! Go to my Espada and have them gather in the meeting hall! Let them know there will be guerra!” (War)

Primo salutes and darts off to notify all present Espada of Maximiliano’s order. The God King is in a good mood as he takes his time to reach the meeting chamber, there is no need to rush. He senses the fights going on within the palace and he will be courteous enough to give them time to conclude and when they do he hopes to see a few new Espada joining him in the meeting hall.
