“What do I wear? Why am I so worried? Just a bunch of old perverts... but Dominic may feel left out.”
“Miss, please-” The maid calling for her lady to stop panicking was silenced as she was hit in the face by flying clothes that eventually piled on top of her.
Blume, who would normally apologize, was too invested in wanting to find the perfect appearance for the night. It was a gathering of officials, business prospects Quincy-affiliated or those just there to deepen their pockets or make marriage pacts. It was a perfect opportunity for Blume to spread her influences while establishing her position as the new head of the Diamante. The older gentlemen would come to her in thirst for gaining a hand in the Diamante Forge and their gem-based mining companies, or for her hand themselves.
While she doesn’t want to outright deny them and cause a rift between potential business partners, this is what she needed Dominic Kaiser for. He was shorter than her, but he would still be menacing and taller than any of these hungry beasts waiting for their chance to pounce.
Illustration575.png

As she continued to rummage through her clothes, Blume finally came to the conclusion that she wouldn't find anything in her current closet. The maid from earlier had managed to dig her way through the sea of clothes and break for air, finding her mistress lying down in the center of it all. Climbing over the fabric mountains, she finally knelt down by Blume and offered a sound suggestion.
Illustration604.png

“My lady, why don’t we go out and find a suitable gown for tonight’s gathering? A bit of shopping therapy may do you some good.”
“...That sounds like a good idea. Well done, Mia. You’ve saved my sanity yet again.”
The sun was beginning to drop by the time that Blume had finally found an evening gown among other things. Blume carried her gown in her hands while Mia had the other sets of bags. Blume was already considerably tall, but that never stopped her from wearing heels with her gowns. She wasn’t ashamed to be tall. Looking down on others was rather refreshing for those who dared to try her hand.
The two of them were idly walking down the downtown area of Karakura, and her eyes roamed when they fell on a familiar face. Immediately rushing over, Blume found herself rushing forth to meet with Fredrick Elbeck, who seemed to be gazing upon structures for a possible location change. Last they’d talked two months ago, he’d mentioned something regarding moving his bar into Karakura, and she offered her help to get him started as a new beginning to their relationship.
However, she hadn’t gotten any sort of contact, and she wondered if that just meant he didn’t like her. Not used to the feeling of being left out, she closed the distance and stopped just a few steps in front of the red-haired Quincy, beaming with a grin.
“Fredrick! It’s nice to see you. I hope you’re doing well.”
Had he asked about her time during these two months, she’d reply with a simple “fine” before changing the subject and grilling into him about not contacting her about the joint business proposition. The longer they conversed, another idea had come to Blume, and she extended out a similar invitation to Fred as she did Dominic and his uncle.
Illustration587.png

“Fred, if you don’t mind joining me tonight, I would like to discuss this joint business between the bar and flower shop. We owe one another; will you not keep your word with me?”
It was a manipulation tactic, using their previous deal after he had shot at her head with an arrow in her own shop and caused her to retaliate so viciously. Puffing her cheeks out rather childishly, the sight of Blume had caused her maid to avert her eyes at her lady’s actions. If and once Fredrick agreed to accompany her, they would’ve rushed him to the nearest shop that could accommodate his size and build, which conveniently existed in this downtown complex. Adding a bit of a tip often got them to act with gusto, and Blume had little worries about money.
Managing to gather Fredrick a clean suit, pressed and made to impress, Blume would’ve taken him to the Diamante house to get ready there instead of heading back to home to do so. Having Mia lead Fredrick down to one of the many guest rooms after dropping off her own clothes, Blume was left to her own devices to get ready for the night and greet her guests.
Looking at herself in the mirror, Blume nitpicked at her hair, her makeup, and whatever else she could find when a knock startled her and in came Mia. To be so bold, Mia actually smacked away at Blume’s hands to keep them from messing with anything else. Reassuring her lady of her beauty and grace, the contracts she would make with both Fredrick and Dominic would hopefully come to fruition and work in her favor.
She would probably be seeing that white-haired Quincy from that night in Naruki if they accepted the invitation from half a month ago. Corporate leaders and clan heads were always among the first to get their invitations to make marriage proposals, business offers, extend contracts, or create turmoil between their competitors.
“This has to work… Or it’ll be all for nothing.”
“My lady, how could anyone say no to you? You are beautiful and quite charming if they listen.”
“That’s exactly my point. How far will beauty get me? If they listen to my proposals, it'll be a miracle.”
"They will listen. You are powerful and the word ‘no’ is not within your vocabulary.”
The two shared a laugh and Mia was the first to leave. Blume lingered for a bit longer… Pushing the stray locks behind her ear, she stood up and made her way downstairs to greet her guests in the ballroom.
Black complimented her perfectly. Untouchable, but desired by everyone that set their hungry eyes on her. For this evening, Blume was dressed in a floor-length dress, high slits on her left and right side beginning just at the hip for a perfectly revealing morsel of unblemished skin of her legs. There was a deep v-neck plunge, her bosom nestled snuggly behind the sheer screen and shielded by flowers. And hardly leaving without are those black gloves that seemingly add onto a mysterious persona. Her hair was put up, framing her angelic face to create the masterpiece that is Blume Diamante.
Illustration598.png

Cerulean orbs roamed the sea of individuals, dressed to the nines and tens to impress somebody or nobody. Each of these individuals sitting in this room had their own goals in mind. Idly rubbing her hands together, she was in search of her first prospect, Dominic. While her right-hand, Bradley, would alert her of their arrival, she would much prefer to find him herself. If Fred had joined, she would have come to search for him as well but had ordered Mia to stay at his side. She'd taken a fancy to the large man, much to Blume's surprise.
"Miss Diamante."
Holding back the urge to sigh in disdain, she turned to the first of many individuals that would come to give her a headache.

He had noticed that several people were looking at him, as he continued to gaze upon several structures that had signs all saying for lease. his usual smile persisted as he began to walk towards it, but was stopped by a small group walked in front of him, stopping only to gaze upon him with awe.
OOOOOOHHHHH
They all said in unison as they never saw a man so tall and muscular, to them it was like it was out of their anime. This caused him to throw his head back and laugh for a moment before lifting both arms up and tense his muscles to flex with his laugh.
Snap_zyL8rnj7wF1928094157.png

Again the kids would repeat what their Oooohs before their teacher would walk them off, though they would wave at him as they walked away and he in return waved back. Hopefully he made those kids day, cause they certainly did make his. He was also grateful that he didn’t break his shirt during the flex. He would be embarrassed but would hide it behind a laugh, before entering a near by shop to get a shirt.
As he walked towards the buildings he gazed inside each one of them. All of which seemed smaller than he had wanted, much to his disappointment, as he tilted his head back and wondered if he could lease all three of them, and break their walls down to house his new found guests. So he pulled out his phone and began to call the number on the line.
Several hours of talking through the phone they had hung up, pretty much laughing at his request to get all three, as they deemed it a waste of their time for someone to ask about leasing all three at once and building a bar. Disappointing to say the least, but even more so he found himself at a different point in time, as the sun began to set, Was he really on phone that long? His head shook and the look of disspoint was seen on his face for a moment, but turned to surpise when he heard a voice.
“Fredrick! It’s nice to see you. I hope you’re doing well.”
“As well as I can be how about yourself Blume?”
“Fine”
Illustration587.png

He smiled at her response, thankfully she- No never mind she began to grill him about not coming into contact about the business he had discussed with her. Though he smiled his thoughts were screaming at him telling him how in the hell did he forget to contact her. He had to take a step back from with his hands raised, his smile still persisted but it was a nervous one. Then a change in look came upon her
“Fred, if you don’t mind joining me tonight, I would like to discuss this joint business between the bar and flower shop. We owe one another; will you not keep your word with me?”
He felt like he was pushed into a corner, as and he couldn’t get out of it unless he agreed, after all it was his promise, to work with her after that whole fiasco at her flower shop. But the sight of her puffing her cheeks caused him to shake his head and return to his smile; before placing his hand onto his chin, scratching his beard lightly.
“Well… I did make that promise, and will keep to my word, after all I can’t go back on my word. Such a hanious act is unforgiveable in my eyes.”
His hand moved away as she shook his head, but in his agreement he would immediately find himself being grabbed and pulled into the nearest shop, where it happened to be a tailors and like the kids from earlier, the tailor gazed at him in wonder and worry as he wouldn’t be able accommodate him if only for his size; though money talks he himself was about to pay but Blume and her servant already made the arrangements. The tailors were quick, grabbing measurements from all around him before moving to sew it all together.
After that was all done he was brought to a mansion, and he could only guess that it was hers. She was rich for sure, far richer than he was even with his family, but that didn’t bother him in the slightest, as he knew other quincy families were richer than he was. Though he was happy to be coming to such a wonderful place.
Once they stepped out he was immediately brought down a different hallway, by the servant where he felt like he was out of his element, with the way he was dressed, and how Fancy this whole place was. Finally he was brought to a room, and to him it couldn’t come sooner. And shortly after his new suit would come in, where he would dress himself up, before looking into the mirror.
“Not too bad! ”
Illustration605.png

A slight laugh came from him as he thought he’d never be wearing a suit that could actually fit him well he would have to pay those tailors a visit once more if only to thank them and order more from them. Though that was to be done at a later date and time, as for now? He wanted to explore, the mansion and hopefully hear history of the place, and as he was about to open his door he heard the door nob twist open, and the young woman from earlier opened it, but before she could say a word he would speak first in his usual happy tone, while clapping his hands.
“Ah hello again! I never got to properly introduce myself. I am Fredrick Elbeck, owner of the Haus der aufgehenden Sonne. ”
The last little bit made him chuckle as he would await on what she would say or do.

Another day, another dollar, two months seemed more like yesterday than anything. Silas sat in what could easily be equated to a war room after everyone had a scuffle with Santa Klaus. Images of those involved scattered across an open table as Silas went to work. In two months he managed to put names to faces and with that came a database of knowledge he wasn’t looking to strike any of these individuals down per say but keeps tabs on them. In the grand scheme of things everyone involved that night were no more than chess pieces on a board simply waiting to be moved into place. All things considered that effectively made people like Blume Diamante someone likely in the same boat as Silas when it came to familial ties in regards to being a Quincy. Although her arrival was late she seemed more in control of her emotions or rather her own circumstances than those of the fullbringers. Hell in Silas’ eyes the fullbringers were the sloppiest of the entire ordeal; their actions and reactions were the most lackluster. In particular that masked individual who found himself attacking one of the shinigami responsible for helping clean up the Santa debacle even though he did need information that was no way to go about it. Silas sat there with a mild look of disappointment on his face in regards to those he would even consider bringing into the fold. However among this all it was clear that he needed to reach out to those he had given business cards to. In particular the unrefined like Fredrick needed to be reigned in, put under a watchful eye, or most importantly refined to be a far more deadly individual than what they could ever imagine. In two months time Silas sent out what most would consider government workers to feel out the circumstances of Karakura town. He was going to establish the boundary line that existed for centuries before his birth. In time he adjusted his glasses whilst letting out a sigh only to pick up his phone in order to begin making calls.
In two months time Silas managed to lay claim to several pieces of real estate, in particular they all in fact straddled the very real city limits of Karakura town two of which were factories. These factories in question didn’t hold any real evidence of Section 88 but instead they functioned as shell companies to hide what went on beneath. Both standing as citadels for observation and moderating the passage of spiritually aware beings between the two cities as a whole. Trespassing was going to be the least of their worries when it came to doing so. While even Blume knew numbers were important, she likely also knew moderating their collective space as a whole known as karakura. There was something about being a part of spiritually aware humans that brought about a sense of needing territories. Section 88 was no different in regards to keeping the people safe even if they didn’t know they were being kept safe. In the end the buildings he purchased and the ongoings of the things within were the most important. As for the remaining pair they functioned in a similar manner to police stations keeping a watchful eye on the border between naruki and Karakura. Even though their main job as a hub for section 88 to function as a policing force so those stationed within could tend to the menace that was hollows as well as any foreign spiritual threat in similar fashion to the wouldbe Santa Klaus. This merely left Silas with one thing to do, gather the numbers. While Silas ran a Section 88 with near perfection and those under him were spiritually aware their was new blood out there and it needed to be reigned in.
“Ms. Brokovich, it’s time we make a few phone calls…”
Brokovich_Mila_Bust.png

“Of course right away.”
Meanwhile in present day Downtown Karakura...

Had Frederick taken the time to look at his phone he would’ve likely found a miss call from an unknown number, the call was from Silas. While under normal circumstances it would’ve been odd Silas had already done some digging after their encounter in Naruki. However in passing while he likely now stood face to face with Blume the pair of them could find Silas emerging before them both. His image pouring into view with a blur as his snow white hair shifted from side to side due to the speed of his arrival. Blume hadn’t crossed a line or anything of that nature yet they were after the same thing, numbers. When his image arrived he would’ve gotten there when Blume was addressing Frederick with his index and middle finger pressed between the frame of his glasses pushing them properly into position. The most likely thing to come of a social gathering between Blume and Silas was likely either going to be an alliance or some form of agreement. In the history of the quincy it wasn’t very often these things came without bloodshed or a test of merit. In this case neither of them wanted that and it was likely to be clear once Silas properly introduced himself to her instead of simply delivering a business card. He arrived when she was trying to pressure Frederick into having dinner with her and his lips couldn’t help but curl into a smug smile.
“Fred, if you don’t mind joining me tonight, I would like to discuss this joint business between the bar and flower shop. We owe one another; will you not keep your word with me?”
“Pleasantries as always with clan members like yourself, Ms. Diamante.”
Of course he didn’t simply cut her off but waited until she was done speaking even with her attendant present. Silas had no problem introducing himself to her. She already knew of him as it was some of the first things they did with Quincy families to attempt to keep their bloodlines pure and as such it was important to know who your allies and enemies could potentially be in the future. As a result of that it was likely the Diamante family knew of the Mikoto’s and vice versa. Silas didn’t extend a hand during this interaction however he just gave a brief nod to effectively respect her space after taking note of her gloves in Naruki it simply came as a potential grievance to her personal bubble of sorts. In the end even if Fred had gone with her they would’ve seen each other that same night. Silas wouldn’t need to dress any different than he already had as for today he wore a black and white suit with tie as he was already dressed for a section 88 affair. He knew it would do for something like the dinner just the same. Of course one of the main differences between Blume and Silas was the way they conducted their affairs as quincy. While she was waited on hand and foot by her attendants Silas did not want that from his subordinates. Just the same as Blume had her attendant by her side, Silas was under a watchful eye just the same as her attendants stood vigil to her every whim.
In the end even if they stopped to interact at all once things were settled Silas wasn’t far behind to join them at Blume’s manner. Of course his arrival was a bit more formal this time arriving by car. His well pressed and well groomed attire as usual. He was ready to see what means to an end two dynasties could come to the bloodshed of the past was behind them as the heads of their respective families. It was time to see what was to come of new and old blood.

Using a rental car Dominic and his Uncle made their way to the Diamante Estate. During the drive there Dominic's mind was elsewhere, looking out the passenger side window at the passing lights and people. Something inside him started to make him feel anxious, more than he ever felt, he never even had this feeling before a match. Perhaps it was because he was going to be around some Quincy other than his Uncle, being around people who may be stronger than him. This anxious feeling made him want to get there even sooner just to see if this is true. He has kept a closedminded point of view on the Quincy race always avoiding interactions with them. With no sort of organization or unification among them, it is hard to tell who is friend or foe, who is there to help or use someone. Before he knew it they were at the gates of the estate, identifications were being checked and verified along with making sure their names were on the guest list. Once everything was verified as green they were allowed to pass and make their way into the estate.
"Okay Dominic, lets not try to embarrass ourselves. Our family has fallen from grace since the death of your parents so we might be looked down upon."
"It's just going to be a bunch of stuffy asshats with their own shit opinions."
"That's what I'm talking about! Don't speak like that around them! You know their words can carry weight!"
"That's because all they have is words. Strong tongues but weak bodies."

Astor only shook his head hoping the boy won't get himself into trouble and ruin any chances they have at forging an alliance of some sort with the prestigious Diamante family. Once the two were inside Astor looked around nervously while Dominic surveyed the crowd looking for anyone he might assume to be this Lady Diamante. He placed a hand on his uncle's shoulder and leaned towards him while keeping his eyes on the crowd.
"Go have fun uncle, I'm going to flex my Reiatsu a bit like a beacon for this Diamante chick. Any clue what she might look like?"
Astor gritted his teeth, "Don't refer to her as 'chick'! And no I have no clue what she looks like, just don't ruin this for us!"
Dominic waves his hand at his uncle with a smirk on his face, "Relax, everything will be fine haha."
And with that Dominic made his way into the party, his Reiatsu seeping out just enough so that he can be found he maintained enough control not to damage property or affect the human guests.

Dressed to Impress
Dominic didn't like wearing suits, they just felt too restrictive and "stuffy" as he would call it. He felt much more relaxed in shorts and a t-shirt, standard work out attire essentially. Needless to say just because he doesn't like suits doesn't mean he doesn't know how to wear them. Surprisingly enough he picked out his own suit, then the entire three-piece ensemble was his creation. White shirt with a black vest while the pants jacket and tie were slate black in color. Everything fit perfectly like a glove, despite how he looked in the suit, he couldn't stand wearing it. He stops for a moment at a table lined with fruit arranged in a decorative manner, it was there to eat but the guest wouldn't dare disturb the art of it, however, Dominic would. Taking a toothpick he would pierce a slice of apple and begin to eat away at it, he was careful enough to eat it in a way not to stain his suit or make a slob out of himself but other guests still looked at him as if he were doing something wrong. He ate a few orange slices next while a middleaged man approached him, nervously holding his hands.
"E-excuse me, young man, typically we do not eat the fruits they are for-"
"Fuck off."

A resounding gasp escaped the lips of the surrounding guests as the boy ate a few grapes and looked around for anything that looked like a trash can. Unable to find one immediately he decides to put the toothpick in his coat pocket instead of littering. He knew proper manners he just isn't a fan of this crowd and so he figures the sooner he can shut them down the better. He continues his stroll through the party spotting a rather large red-haired man who looked like he was going to burst out of his suit at any moment. "Yikes." Dominic thought to himself as he looked away from the man and continued wading through the sea of people.

“Yes, that does sound very interesting, Fujimoto-san.”
Blume was focused, but not on the conversation. She’d glance now and then towards the entrance to see when one of her top priorities would arrive. A saving grace came in the form of a man, and she found Bradley at her side, calling to take her away. Giving her thanks to the people that had taken her attention, Blume escaped away from the crowd and into an empty hallway. Luckily no one touched her, even in such a crowded place and with all these parasites in one room. It was hard enough sitting in there, but she had too.
Across the room, her mother and father were enjoying themselves, relaxing as they tended to separate affairs. She was stuck with dealing with other members of the Quincy Faction, all to get a support system from the outside. They were gauging her reactions, purposefully asking questions that could have gotten her riled if she didn’t know better, but even if she managed to pull them in, it still wouldn’t be enough.
“My lady, Lord Dietrich would like to speak with you.”
“Thank you, Bradley, I’ll be right there--”
“Miss Diamante, it’s a pleasure.”
A shiver ran up her spine, and she quickly turned around to face a tall, older man with scars cutting across his cheek and nose. Ocean blue hair was slicked back, and his eyes, much similar to her shade, but even then, maybe just a little bit lighter. However, instead of the warmth that Blume’s gaze could bring, she could feel nothing but the cold beneath this man’s gaze.
Illustration626.png

Quickly realizing she needed to greet him, Blume dropped into a gentle bow and could feel the judgment being cast. Head bowed low, Blume offered a gracious greeting that resulted in a small exhale, signaling for her to rise. Face-to-face with such an intimidating man, Blume had hardly realized that his hand was extended towards her.
“Oh, Lord Dietrich, forgive me, I couldn’t possibly--”
“I am aware of your sickness, Miss Diamante. I just need to see it myself.”
Though they were in a somewhat private area, Blume felt as if thousands of eyes were on her, but it was just the three of them. If Lord Dietrich knew of her sickness, then that meant that he was one of the candidates for her marriage. An unspoken rule between her and her mother, Blume, had forfeited her life in this way to gain the stance she had now. As insurance, should she fail to unite the Quincy, this would at least save her from the embarrassment of failing to produce an heir if she had no luck in finding a husband for herself. Under the guise of a germaphobe, Blume forbade herself from touching any person in such close contact without her protective seals or something in between them. Removing one of her gloves, she slipped her small hand into the palm of the Lord’s, and the connection was set.
Power flooded into her body, and she quickly snatched her hand away, muttering her apologies, but the Lord’s face only held wonder at such an extreme ability. Flexing his fingers, he lingered on the tingling sensation from the fleeting suction of his spiritual energy. As short as the contact was, he felt drained, but not so much that he would stop functioning altogether.
“You are… an enigma, Miss Diamante. I look forward to future gatherings. Please send my regards to your mother and father.”
“Yes, of course, Lord Dietrich. Please excuse me; it’d be rude to be away from my guest for too long. I wish you good health in our parting.”
She couldn’t wait to leave. The man’s aura was stifling, but not unbearable. On her way back into the main hall, she had crossed the path of a large man and brushed against his shoulder in passing. Turning back at him, she lowered her head, only catching the tuft of dark blue hair and an icy gaze, spewing out an apology before slipping back into the crowd.
Blume didn’t get very far into the sea of people when she felt a gentle stream of reishi flowing. Changing her course, she followed the fine line of energy and found herself closing in on the one she was looking forward to meeting. Indefinitely shorter than her, she managed to compose herself and call out.
“Mr. Kaiser, it’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance finally. My name is Blume Diamante. I’d like to talk to you about a proposition.”
Illustration599.png

Once he managed to face her, even e may have been surprised at the difference in her appearance. Surely he expected someone… not like Blume. He’d have come to find that Blume would crush all of his expectations in every way possible, but would it benefit him to hear these propositions of hers? Talking with the Diamante Head would be the only way to find out.

“Ah hello again! I never got to properly introduce myself. I am Fredrick Elbeck, owner of the Haus der aufgehenden Sonne. ”
“It’s a pleasure, Mr. Elbeck. My name is Mia. I’ll be your guide today for tonight’s events.”
Leading him out of the room, she gestured to the ballroom where all of the main festivities were currently being held, but even then, some people needed to breathe, and few stood outside, continuing their conversation from inside. From the corner of her eye, Mia could see that Silas character from earlier in the evening. Recalling of their first meeting in downtown, Mia could even see the motives hiding beneath his lanky exterior, but unless Blume had addressed it, she would be silent until then.
“I'm sure you're curious as to why Miss Blume invited you out on such a busy night, but she figured you would have questions prior. I'm here to answer those if you have any, but of course, you're welcome to do as you please."
Mia turned her body around to face Fredrick gestured in Silas' direction.
"I'm sure that gentleman from earlier would want to speak with you after all this time since we stole your attention.”
She would come and go as he asked. Not necessarily told to stick to him like glue, Blume had only directed the maid to keep her eyes on him now and then. He wasn't made for this type of scene but as an esteemed guest of the Diamante, those he approached wouldn't shy away at the chance to get closer to the family head.
