Dominic sat quietly watching the Shinigami handle the Hollow and what a show it was. The taller Shinigami seemed more like a beast than the Hollow, she seemed like destruction incarnate. He hadn't realized it but he was lightly tapping his knuckles on the ground, he wanted to jump in, and the fury of battle right in front of him egged him on. But he has better control than that, he may be quick to say what's on his mind but he isn't foolish enough to act in a similar manner. His tenure as an audience member is cut short by Mia's intervention. As they were stepping onto the platform there was an explosion, both he and Fredrick turned to see what had happened. It seemed like the Hollow was destroyed maybe that Amazonian-Esque woman was a bit too rough with it and ended up killing him. Probably for the best, in his opinion at least.
“The Shinigami should be able to clean up their own mess. That little blue one over there had called for backup. It is best for us to retreat back to Lady Diamante. If perhaps these Shinigami try to stir trouble, we must avoid it at all costs.”
The platform she stood upon lowered itself causing Dominic to shift his eyes from her to the platform. He glanced back once more at the Shinigami and the Hollow and sighed before hopping onto the platform.
"Yeah, I guess it would be hard to protect her if we're way over here not doing a damn thing."
This is singlehandedly the most eventful night of Dominic's life, far more eventful than any match he has had or ever will have. Little does he know this day is far from over, even with the sun already down it still has more curveballs to throw his way. Once he and Fredrick were on board they were whisked back to Blume's position, seemed like she didn't bother moving from that singular spot not that Dominic could say anything about that considering how he had practically done the same thing. Blume and Mia exchanged some words, it wasn't his conversation so he turned his head to scope out how things were going in this area of the battle, more or less the same it seems. With hands in his pockets, he turns his attention back to Blume who began speaking to him, and oddly enough it was an apology.
“My apologies, Dominic. I should’ve been much quicker. At least you would’ve been able to throw in a punch or two. Do forgive me.”
This caught him off guard, he didn't expect her to be so apologetic over something that was out of her control, hell, it was out of everyone's control. He takes a hand out of his pocket and waves it in a dismissive manner as if telling her to not worry about it.
"Don't worry, don't worry you ain't gotta go through a whole apology for me. None of us expect the Shinigami to show up so quickly. If I had to guess why they showed up so damn fast is because this probably benefits them in one way or another."
After that, he redirected his attention back to the battle before them it wasn't nearly as thrilling as the one he was watching. It lacked the sheer rage, violence, and passion of the other bout, despite that, it was still a fun watch. Dominic didn't even realize that this is probably the first time so many Quincy have gathered in a single place, honestly though if not for his uncle Dominic would probably forget that he himself is a Quincy.
"With all this shit going on... It kind of feels like a slow night, y' know? Guess cause we're just left here watching everything go down I suppose."
Right on queue, to spice up this "slow" night for Dominic something extraordinary happens. Perhaps extraordinary is the wrong word to use for what is about to transpire. A wave of energy washes over him that makes the hair on his arms stand on end, both hands leaving his pockets and clenching into fists. He has never felt this sensation before, it isn't a Shinigami nor a Hollow... A Fullbringer maybe? No, not even close. He turns back to look in the direction where he and Fredrick were at previously to sense and see something horrific. A massive gate adorned with two large skeletons clutching their rib cage, he has never seen this thing before, and honestly, it scares him a little. The door begins to open the vortex of wind that is unleashed by its hellish opening could be heard from their position paired with a blinding red light that forced him to avert his eyes. What couldn't be seen could surely be felt as Dominic struggled to comprehend what it was he was even feeling, agony, torment, these are a couple of words he could use to describe it. Whatever it was it had him on high alert, literally standing on his toes like an Olympic sprinter at the takeoff line, his body hunched and leaning forward slightly as if he were ready to tackle someone for a takedown.
"Yo... What the f*ck is that? That some new Shinigami tool or something? If it is I ain't a fan."
He turns his head to look at Blume and Mia, raising an arm to block the bright light that still shined from this... gate. Dominic not paying attention to his uncle has come back to bite him once again as his uncle DID inform him of what the Hell Gate is and what it keeps contained. He stopped paying attention around when his uncle mentioned something about Shinigami's Zanpakutos not cleansing the sins a soul committed while they were alive. He figured that information was irrelevant for him considering Quincy outright destroy Hollows.
"Do you know what that is? Because I got fight-or-flight going through my body like crazy right now, that's enough to tell me that thing is bad news."
He turned his head to try and see what was coming out of the gate but it was no use, the light was too bright, which only caused him frustration. This slow night was starting to pick up speed real quick.
“Blume, Mia, Domini… What are we to do against that?”
Dominic looked at Fredrick, towards the gate, then towards Blume and finally back at the gate. A smirk of confidence started to grow on his face, or was it just him being eager to fight?
"Not the slightest idea man. But if I had to guess... We just have to kill whatever came out of it to close it... Maybe... What're you thinkin' boss lady? Got a plan of attack for this one?"

"Don't worry, don't worry you ain't gotta go through a whole apology for me. None of us expect the Shinigami to show up so quickly. If I had to guess why they showed up so damn fast is because this probably benefits them in one way or another."
Blume let out a soft sigh and could only nod before her attention fell back onto the other hollow fiasco. She tries to focus on his words as he continues to speak, but there is a ringing in her ear that is nonstop. The chill that dances along her spine grows, and she can not shake it away. Instead, it grows until the same wave of dark energy washes over them all, and she and the others can only turn to find this monstrous gate that towers over them all.
“What in the--”
She begins but is unable to finish as the gates begin to creak open and she is forced to shield her eyes. Mia rushes to her side, as Blume’s safety was a priority far above her own person. The air surges, pushing and pulling back and forth as the blinding red lights of Hell’s landscape blares from the doorway. She can see silhouettes, and feel the spiritual signatures. The two Shinigami remain, however, there is an additional person who appears as a black star with Hell sitting behind them. And as the gates continue to grow wider, she feels movement, the smaller of the two Shinigami begin to rise up and towards the entity stepping from the gate. Against Dominic’s words, this could hardly be a Shinigami device. The malevolent presence it holds is nothing that any of these shinigami present could ever possess.
Blume hears the panic in Dominic’s voice, and it takes a bit for her to find her own. Even Fredrick speaks, and she is deep in thought.
What can she do?
“We make the first move.”
Her head lifted but her eyes stayed shut. Pulling her hands up, Blume turned her body to be parallel, her left shoulder facing towards the open gate. Her left arm outstretched towards the red horizon, her right hand began to drag backward. As she moved, a curved golden bow began to take formation within the cusp of her left hand. As for her right, the tail-end of an arrow forms and begins stretching across until the curl of the drill-shaped arrowhead rests against the side of her left index finger. It glows brightly, and she tilts it up at an angle, aimed directly at the position where the shinigami flying towards the offender would eventually come to be… And then it quadruples.
“Bohren Schuss: Führen.”
All four arrows shoot out without a sound and sails towards the bumbling blue-haired shinigami so quickly it forms almost disappears upon release. From below, those would be unable to follow the path of the arrow as its transparent form melts against the red horizon. And those that may be observing from the high ground may mistake these as flashing lights of the human world. Closer and closer they sail towards Oyama from behind. Whether or not Oyama would be aware of these pieces coming behind her and taking action, the first would find themselves embedded deep into the wraps of her clothing by the left side of her waist, and careful not to harm her any more than she might have been just as she was coming within a meter’s worth of distance of the newest foe. And the second and third that would follow, sailing right through beneath her right arm and just above her left shoulder, driven directly at the Togabito with the intention to drive holes into its body aimed in the center of his chest, his right hip, and his left pectoral, creating a hole that would be similar to a softball.
Meanwhile the fourth would find Oyama coming from the left side and carrying her off with speed in an attempt to save her from the Togabito’s intended grasp and take her as far as it could go before she could manage to fix herself if she snapped out of whatever stupor. Using the innate ability to control the path of her arrows at all times, Blume would direct the arrow to take the Shinigami back towards the ground.
She waits in silence, her weapon reloaded with four more and ready to be released at a moment's notice. Other than the roaring of the winds, Blume's ears are deafened by the sound of her own heartbeat.

Chaos indeed was certainly bred...more Shinigami and Quincy file and flock in like the fools they are to the flame...And I lie here...I feel my work has been fulfilled. he mutters in his mind. The spiritual entities that were in the immediate area were increasing as well as the sounds of destruction, screeching, howling and the violence to tie it all in. Karakura historically and periodically lived up to its reputation as a battleground for the balance of the Spirit World. The Shinigami came in to cleanse the streets of the two sudden appearing hollows in the vicinity, unknowingly the Quincies already in the immediate area and ready to purge any hollow that stood in their way. Blatz wasn’t sure why he was sent here to disturb the peace but he had done his duty and hadn’t yet died in the process, now it was time to recuse himself from the mess she had created. The Shinigami that would have taken over from the Quincy Blatz was initially battling still had much room to grow, he could tell he was somewhat green and fairly still excitable.
The gap between the hollow and shinigami was far and large enough for Blatz to mount an escape, summoning the remainder of his strength and spiritual prowess, by lifting his large body from the concrete to sit up, he then would quickly form a spatial rend opening itself to the Dangai. The portal formed directly underneath the body of the hollow, spanning about the same height and width to fit only his person and would quickly swallow the entirety of himself into the bleak darkness below it. His body would appear to have fallen with the speed of a flightless human falling from the sky, letting gravity do its work he’d be swallowed into nothingness. A quick escape for the Hollow would have avoided any immediate contact from any incoming attack as it would have taken slightly more time to reach his previous location than it would have to create the Garganta opening. Assuming his escape had gone unnoticed and overlooked the portal would have also closed with the same speed as its opening. The problems of the human world were no longer of the concern to this hollow in particular, but what lies ahead now, its entirely up in the air.

The sound of two Zanpakutōs hitting upon each other was heard.

'I wonder why this happened. Traitor? Or something else?'

The voice within his mind sprang forth. He wondered, as he stood there. His senses - even with how bad they are when it comes to sensing things - were working at a full capacity, his mind taking in any and all energy readings from around. It is at this moment that he senses the arrival of 2 more Quincies. He sighs, wondering if this will escalate, if more Quincies will appear and how this whole thing will proceed.
Furthermore, he stopped extending his own Reiatsu - seeing as how Oda proceeded to stab the Hollow, finding it odd at first, but then he realized.
"Sorry, New orders, Lieutenant Hageshi needs this Bat alive to save a comrade."
He nods. Those words were all he needed, as he had seen that this Shinigami - Katsuo Oda - had checked up on his Denreishinki, which Kyo has turned off. He understood that Oda had been informed of some information that he, Kyo, was unable to check up on due to the fact that he had his own Denreishinki turned off.
After so, he saw, rather felt, that the white haired Quincy was preparing an attack. At least that was what was about to happen - and Kyo was ready to interfere and absorb whatever attack had been done - only to feel his hair stand.

‘This… Isn`t this a Hell Gate?’

While most Shinigami only knew of a Hell Gate from being told about them, he happened to have an old experience with one - having killed a Hollow that called forth a Hell Gate. And yet, this felt far, far too different. Something was wrong. Seriously so.
.
.
.
”We need to finish quic…”
My words stopped. This… What was this? This felt evil.
“Fi… Finish this. We need to reach to the area with the others! Now!”
.
.
.
”I`ll try not to be so late in the future but, it’s like you`re running rampant trying to be in many places at once if that makes sense.”
The last words Kyo heard from Oda. Kyo had already turned around, his body’s trajectory focused upon that Hell Gate.

“I leave our Unseated members to you. Also, a small gift.”

The gift Kyo spoke about, was but a very miniscule stab upon the Hollow’s head - the same exact spot as before. It was like a pinch, but that was all he needed to let his own energy permeate and be ready to activate at any moment. Provided the Hollow did not cut that specific spot - Kyo’s Ace in the Hole - his Shikai’s Void - would be ready to activate at any moment, no matter where the Hollow would be - a mark that is nigh untraceable.
Afterwards, Kyo turned around, his eyes and ears now focused upon the Quincies, the first thing he consciously heard from them were the words from the woman.

“What in the--”

He understood that they, too, had felt the Hell Gate. And he smiled - for fun seemed to fill this whole day. He see a woman move in front of the one that spoke - obviously guarding her - as the red lights from the Hell Gate begin to fill the area. Unlike others that can sense specific energies and people, Kyo can’t. Yet, he can sense that something big is about to happen - an intuition of someone with far too much battlefield experience. And so, before the Quincies begin to move, he starts running - the aim for everyone being that Hell Gate. He runs, unable to use any kind of Hohō, yet due to sheer muscle power he is fast. His steps create small aftershocks, as his Reiatsu begins to be unleashed. Unlike before, where his own Reiatsu was unleashed to general area, now it was fully concentrated upon his own body, a trick to build up the gravitational pull’s momentum. And so, by the time he would reach the area the Hell Gate had formed, the pulling power was strong enough to throw a 4th Seated Shinigami out of his own balance - still not at full power, quite far from it.
Once there, his eyes trailed around and saw the person that stood in front of the Hell Gate, as he felt from behind him the creation and attack that came from the female Quincy that was guarded before. He nodded, feeling no amount of bloodlust towards Oyama Hoshi - but he was conscious of those lights that moved around her.
He focused upon the field, his eyes taking every information. he saw how Oyama Hoshi was dragged into the Hell Gate and smiled.

‘You wish to pull an ally of mine?!’

His thoughts roared, his right hand holding his Zanpakuto would come forth and his lips would part - a smile visible all the while.

“Back me up!”

He shouted, his words reverberating throughout the vicinity, unknown whether he spoke towards only his fellow Shinigami, or everyone.
For those that focused upon this lone Shinigami, it was at this moment that they would shudder. For this Shinigami - Shinjitsu Kyo - stabbed himself in the heart.
.
.
.

"You can call me Forlorn, my Vacant."
Words spoken in the past. Kyo’s mind as he was stabbing himself in the heart, moved to this point. He reminisced this moment, as this moment is what would allow him to enjoy this. He reminisced how he fought against Chūkū Ha and how Chūkū Ha herself showed him one secret, a secret that comes with what this power is, as well as why that is the name.

“My Vacant, once your enemy appears and you need to destroy, you only need one thing. Become a Chūkū Ha, a Hollow Blade.”

A technique that is a double Edged Sword. A technique to become a Void itself.

.
.
.
Kyo felt the sword stabbed deep in his heart. To the shock of all those that may be watching, no blade protruded from behind Kyo’s back - as if the sword had disappeared within his body. The sensation Kyo felt at the moment was one of serenity, as if he became one with the Universe and he felt selfless. At least, until he removed the sword from within his own body - his heart. His eyes now opened, them being closed momentarily, his lips now once more creating that smile, his bloodlust extending and permeating his being. And then, he pushes forth, his legs send him flying - his aim to arrive in front of that person that came out of the Hell Gate. His own Reiatsu still sealed around his body, until now.
He let the arrows move to their target and then he activated it, his lips parting and his voice heard.

“Use ranged attacks, but only those that can control their arrows’ trajectory!”

His words quick. It was obvious that this went towards the Quincy, as his body soared through the battlefield, in order to reach this enemy. The sword he once more held within his own arm, showed no changes. Neither his own body - even with what transpired before. After all, the die has been cast - its usage to come in the future if needed. His Reiatsu activated, his energy now filled the vicinity, changing the trajectory of any and all projectiles towards his body - upon his left hand the voids ready to be used as a shield against those ranged attacks and his Chūkū Ha already forming the actions of an Agitowari, the focus of this attack being the enemy from the Hell Gate.
What was odd, was that while the Gate itself had a gravitational pulling force, it could not touch upon Kyo’s being - at least not now, the moment this stab within his heart and core had occurred.
Now, being besides Oyama Hoshi, Kyo’s lips part once more.

“Ask the Seretei to allow me to use my full power, to remove the seal. Also, use ranged attacks only and stay away from me until we are done with this”

His words heard, not before he actually uses the body of Oyama to propel himself forth, throwing her backwards towards the allies and the Quincies, as he moves forth towards the enemy - quite alike a bullet - his attack having started already, his eyes focused upon the body of this person and ready to stop his attack to flow a defense or another kind of attack. Though he believes that thanks to his hiding behind the attack brought forth from the female Quincy that shot those 4 arrows, it would be hard to be attacked. Yet, one always needs to be ready for anything in a fight.
After all, a fight is the place he should be at.
.
.
.
“So… Uhm… What am I to do now?”
The female Shinigami that had arrived with Kyo asked Katsuo, waiting to assist him, not before she too stabbed the Hollow from the other side, her aim being the same as Oda’s - even if she mostly failed to even damage the Hollow, lacking the power to do so.

Where crippling terror would have huddled masses on their knees, Omoni Hageshi dug her heels in eager to oppose it. That tremendous reminder that she was still very much alive served as a driving force that had routinely pitted her against titanic opponents just to get a taste. A taste of what someone might call fear. What some might consider pain. Hageshi wanted it and more every moment of every day. It was a craving that had no quench so when the cosmos split in two it struck her to her core but at the same time it’s formidable invigoration made her stronger than before. The woman never lost hope when everything was cold and the fighting grew near. Never before had she turned her back on a battle especially when there were lives of her fellow Shinigami on the line. For she did not live bowing down, she would die standing up.
Light like blood cast itself over her drenching her in a silhouette of red. All signs demanded she avert her gaze but Hageshi looked on. Although it was difficult, it was not impossible and thanks to the tail end of her remaining cigar properties she found she was able to follow what was happening. Oyama had been abducted and the Lieutenant’s mind immediately went into rescue mode looking for an opening to take her back from the intruder when to her surprise vibrant hues of light flashed past her and appeared to be getting the girl out of harms way. One glimpse and she knew that something had been done that could not be UN-done. The Quincy had undoubtedly taken notice of the new threat to present itself to the land of the living. Naturally, they were concerned but for them to directly interfere in what was the business of the soul reapers was alarming...offensive! At least that would be what a Shinigami with more of a prejudice would have believed. As Omoni drew back Namakizu’s bulky form preparing to strike the enemy, all she could feel was gratefulness.
Lo’ and behold it quickly became apparent that Oyama and the Quincy were not the only elements to find their way into the fight. The vision of a young man propelling himself fearlessly into the fray forced the great woman to re-strategize on the spot. This was not something she was inexperienced in as a field medic but at times her impulsivity left much to be desired. There was one thing that she knew for sure though and that was the fact the guy was too close too fast and in too dangerous of a predicament for her to ignore. While surely he was intent on bringing down the enemy at any cost, she was convinced he did not fully comprehend the consequences of his brash actions albeit as honorable as they were.
This was where she came in.
Namakizu moved faster than Omoni did physically. Even though it was obviously a rather large and stocky weapon and laws of nature should have dictated it was something that had to be lugged about but in the capable hands of it’s brutish wielder and her magnitude of spiritual power it moved with the velocity and skill of a whip. At times it’s like she merely holds onto the blade and it forces her to overcome whatever she lacks by moving her if need be. The Oni Empress and Omoni don’t normally get along but on the field of battle they are perfectly in synch with one another. The empress even goes so far as to remain quiet possibly focusing that effort to bicker on the fight in front of them instead. So with enough speed and fury to leave a path of brittle earth, it would spring forth as she thrust it out. From there it aimed to stretch the distance between herself and the Hell spawn just as Shinjitsu released his attack. This would happen under the shelter of the Quincy’s glorious arrows as well and likely hid her Zanpakuto from the opponent and by extension the younger Shingami whom she was truly aiming for until it was like it had manifested in the blink of an eye.
8cb672913dc903ce080c9997e3b15f5c.png

The face of the blade unhinged like a snake’s jaw and would immediately try to close around Shinjitsu. Effectively, swallowing him inside of itself so that he could be retrieved without receiving the backlash that was surely coming from their adversary. Absolutely, this was a move that would have crossed a lot of lines but the Lieutenant didn’t care. In fact, doing so was well within her rights and even expectations as the higher ranking officer. It was up to her to decide that he was far more valuable alive to help fight the enemy together than made a sacrifice in vain. Whether he noticed it or not, he had placed himself directly in the line of fire but that was not the worst of it. Above all else, there was one truth and that was that none of them wanted to be in Hell. None of them wanted to be near that door. This had all become far more than what she had initially believed it to be. The reason she was there had been to find a Hollow to bring back with her and help save Jinnosuke’s life but now...the stakes had gotten much higher.
“Want my advice?!”
Simultaneously, the spines on Namakizu positioned nearest to the violator lashed out forming into finely pointed tentacles completely malleable tracing his every movement. If he went low they went low ready to impale him. High and it would be the same in an attempt to ram him back into the abyss and snatch Shinjitsu out of the jaws of Hell.
Provided everything went as planned, Namakizu retracted back to its wielder and set Shinjitsu free by her right side. Here he could ponder what could have happened, surely he was going to be a bit stunned. It wouldn’t be far fetched that he had no idea that she had been there in the first place. Or even who she was.The brunette behemoth focused on certain aspects during a fight even when she had a partner by her side. It was not a question of trust but whether or not they stood together utilizing each other’s talents to ensure a victory or at this point, their survival. The objective was to keep them both alive while throttling the other side. Simple enough for her. Whether those joining her knew what they were doing or not didn’t matter much to her either because the woman believed without a shadow of a doubt with every fiber of her will that she could take anything evil could throw at them, chew it up and spit it back into it’s diabolical face.
Just the experience of being in the presence of the barbarian from the fourth division’s Reiryoku was enough to refocus someone. While it was common for many soul reapers to utilize their potent Reiatsu to force those weaker than them into submission, Omoni Hageshi would not. Instead, sometimes without being aware, she revitalized those in her vicinity and made them embrace the courage and determination that it would take to be able to face the villain. Not to mention, they would regain stamina and begin to heal. If they had not been injured then they’d discover themselves simply growing sturdier. Despair and fear could come for them with it’s poison and it’s misery but something akin to whatever the strongest force they could imagine would be standing at their back. Hands at the ready to help them protect everything that they held dear. Additionally, If he was looking for some other sign to accept her decision he need only spy the plaque announcing her title lashed tightly against her arm. As her hardy voice rose above the rage of the arrival, she readied them both for war and pronounced a warning.

“ You should go back where you came from.”
Subsequently, as she felt her spiritual power churn inside finish healing her previous wounds, she could tell there was a problem. Whenever agents from the Soul Society were summoned to the land of the living they were given a limiter. Something to make sure if a Shinigami tried to go all out, they could not. Even with a limiter a Shinigami could usually conjure enough moxy to get their jobs done so removing it was a pretty rare occurrence. However, there was a way to do it. The woman just had to make a call to the twelfth division requesting to break it but in order to do that she had to come up with a decent distraction.
