His throat was starting to feel chapped, believe it or not. An ominous sadism passed over Blatz as he swiftly incapacitate these clearly green ghosts. He assumed their superiors would doubtedly miss them if unheard from again, as it was with many Shinigami in the past. What was keeping him from separating the skin from the very structure of this being before him? Truth be told he was slightly savoring the kill, salivating at the mere thought of the feast that would soon be at hand. He also was tracking the whereabouts of the second shinigami that was foolish enough to think he got the upper hand on him. Blatz, a sensory master among hollows can pick up numerous spiritual signatures without the mere use of just his eyes. His ears are what make him intensely dreadful of a combatant, because he can hear the ever so slight shifts in sounds within a large radius around him.
The blonde one fell approximately 9 meters from Blatz’ current position in front of his helpless partner, it had obviously taken him some time to get up and reacquire his wits about him that being his immediate senses. The white bat knew he had time. All the while still releasing his dog whistle like reiatsu signature, pinning down and deafening all beings in the area. Eardrums exploding with violent spurts of blood, showering down the streets of Karakura. The bodies, dropping like dead vermin. It was a surprise that they had lasted so long he thought.
Tap…Tap…
Grabbing the dark haired fool by the throat, lifting him into the air. He hears his partner in the distance, another fool…
Tap…Tap…
Blatz stares the Shinigami down in the eyes and gives him the ugliest grin a hollow could ever give. Paralysing him further in fear and surely by now would have been deaf.
Tap…Wooooshh…
With ever such responding quickness, Blatz turns around and shoves the body of the shinigami in the way of his partners cut, slicing him in half as blood and organs slip from the openings now created by the zanpakuto. It was indeed a sharp weapon, surely severing the waist to left shoulder of the fool that placed himself before Blatz.
He released his grip of the body once the blade was sure to sink in and separate flesh, the force tossing the body from its still position in the air to the air, a cloud of crimson showering the White Bat of Hueco Mundo. Blood splattering all over his white skin, it was truly horrific. The young shinigami was sure to be caught in a state of shock, killing his own partner, mowing him down from waist to shoulder. Giving him no time to recover, He then finally released his charged sound blast attack and released a dreadful shriek like cry in the form of a near intangible sound blast powerful enough to rip the flesh from the bones of his adversary at this range. Surely having no more energy to attack him further, Blatz could only hope that he would have enough to eat when it was all said and done.

Silas was listening rather contently, a collection of data was important in any scenario even when he was at a party. The way fred talked about the battle it almost sounded as if he still needed some form of guidance for someone who seemed to at the very least capable of holding their own. Silas could respect that as an individual let alone a fellow quincy in the end this little gathering was inevitably cut short as the shrill of something truly disgusting cut through the air. The sound in question was that of a beastial roar and with Fred asking to take his leave moments after its arrival he wasn’t far behind. He didn’t ask for Blume’s attendant but instead merely made his way to the door giving a soft nod and smile to any attendant that may have been standing by the door. It was clear by the expression on his face he was taking his departure just the same as any of the others who may have been doing that were attending the party.
His posture wasn’t even that of worry as the same car that dropped him off pulled around in front and in doing so the trunk of the vehicle was popped. This subsequently revealed a briefcase filled with that of several ginto and a scheele schneider bandolier of sorts. The object in question holstered all the necessities he needed meaning all Silas did in those moments was secure it underneath his neatly pressed suit. This wasn’t much of an issue for him in a situation like this considering he spent much of his time wearing it let alone having it custom fitted for occasions such as this. The suit was perfectly fitted to allow for freedom of movement in a combat situation. Once Silas managed to retrieve the necessary tools from his briefcase he made his way to the front of the vehicle and tapped on the window with the back of his index and middle finger. When he had done so the tinted window rolled down and revealed that same purple haired young woman from Naruki.
Brokovich_Mila_Bust.png

“Yes sir?”
“Contact Headquarters and let them know to set up a perimeter around the location

The young woman in question merely replied with a nod before pulling away in the vehicle with a phone pulled up to her ear. While Section 88 was already on the move given their need to cast a wide net over Karakura it was important they still received the order to understand the urgency of the matter. Silas couldn’t help but think that these past few months had been quite eventful even in Naruki, a town he wasn’t in control of let alone seeking to protect as vehemently as he was karakura. This was one time that he wasn’t exactly thrilled, even if he was intending to have a sit down with another quincy figure head when this was all said and done it was troublesome to even remotely have to set something like this on the back burner. He knew what it meant to have quincy under a single roof so when whatever beast found itself attempting to call Karakura home he was almost driven to the point of drinking in hopes of suppressing what was to come
In passing this meant that the sky would grow slightly darker as if a storm were rolling in. It was still fairly early in the day even for this little dinner party. The news forecast hadn’t even called for rain that morning but with the way these dark clouds rolled in it was if they could open up at any moment. Lightning danced across them as Silas took off into the distance while it was going to take him a few minutes to arrive. His arrival was going to be swift. His image soon became a blur with the aid of hirenkyaku. It was likely he didn’t need to make any calls as anyone worth their salt in being a spiritually aware human such as quincy was going to be there. It was in fact their town after all and if they wanted to keep those within it safe they would be on the scene no quicker than Silas was.
Meanwhile not far from the ensuing battle
Section 88 was already quick at work setting up a perimeter to cover several miles. They had merely covered this under the cliche guise of construction work or a gas leak as they sought to limit the amount of casualties of typical human life by as much as possible. This meant when the others likely arrived on scene they would find that there were a few seemingly average looking individuals scattered about. Their figures without that of a soldier's attire but that of construction workers' uniforms. However upon closer examination anyone that could see such a thing would find they were in fact spiritually aware and knew very well what was happening within the perimeter. It was only a matter of time before the show truly got underway as Silas merely seconds away at this point and they were merely here to hold the line in the event the hollow was to much for the shinigami who called themselves patrolling Karakura.

Not for her family huh? Now things are taking an interesting turn and as this conversation continues she makes things even more interesting, exciting even. She led him to one of the empty balconies where they were met with the chill of the night air. This didn't make Dominic flinch much but he did take a deep breath, the cool fresh air was the most relaxing thing he felt that night. Blume continues their conversation and so far she seemed to be upfront about what she wanted, clearly stating that what she wants of Dominic was selfish and that the guards he assumed she had don't even exist. He nods his head and as she trails onto speaking about his profession, his wins and how good it is to see someone ambitious as him. He's heard these things before from promoters and potential sponsors so those sorts of comments weren't going to win any points with him. She then pops a peculiar question to him.
“Are you aware of the story regarding the Sealed King, or his hymn?"
"Yep, I know it. Uncle wouldn't dare allow me to live my life without knowing it."

She then recites it perfectly as every proper Quincy should.
"The seal would be broken, and the king would regain his heart after nine-hundred years. Ninety years after, his intellect would return. And nine years afterward, his power would return. After regaining his powers, it’d take nine days for him to take the world."
He nods his head and starts to feel a bit anxious now, was their emperor about to return? In all honesty, Dominic doesn't exactly want that right now he wants to live freely for a few more years before being forced into an empire. Blume then starts to wave her hands frantically as she speaks again.
"Not that I think that our King would rise anytime soon, anyway."
"Oh! Damn you scared me there haha, I'm not ready for that whole die for the Emporer shit just yet."

She continues
"But, you of all people know that activity has been rather active lately on the spiritual side of our spectrum. What did you see a week ago on that trail?”
"Gonna level with you here Blume, its a bit creepy you know what I did a week ago hell it's a bit weird you have my Uncle's number. That crap aside I saw and beat up a Hollow. Things out here have been more active than any other place I've been to that's for sure."
“Things aren’t going to stay peaceful any longer, and I need someone like you by my side. I dislike fighting, believe it or not; raising my hand is the very last thing I wish for. It's not necessarily putting you to work. You always have a choice after all.”

As she finished speaking the distance between them closed and he kept his eyes on her. Was she trying to use her looks to get her way with Dominic? Possibly but that wasn't the vibe Dominic was picking up from her, no it was something else, honesty? No, that isn't the word, sincerity is the word that rings closer to this vibe he's getting from her. His mouth parts, ready to speak but she does so before him and he listens before making his point to her.
“Follow me on my path to Empress and stay by my side, won’t you, Dominic? I’m aware that it’s a lot to take in. I don’t need an answer now, of course, but eventually...”
"A lot to take in? What, you wanting to be Empress and unable to trust all the scheming snakes around you who would use your power climb to benefit themselves? That ain't hard to understand, all those asshats in there only got sharp tongues. The moment you tell em to shut the f*ck up and fight they get scared slink back like the punk asses they are. But all this jazz about wanting to be by your side during your climb to power... Gotta be honest with ya there I ain't got nothin' to gain from all this Quincy Empress business but you seem pretty serious about it."

He thinks to himself for a moment and wonders what his uncle would think... Yeah his Uncle would lose his mind if he told this woman to wait and it's not like he has much else happening at the moment, maybe this woman knows that, sneaky.
"For the sake of sparing myself a tongue lashing from my uncle and to give you less anxiety if you even get that... I'll agree, BUT I got my own dreams and goals they might be smaller than yours but from my point of view it is just as grand and important to me. I want to be a World Champ one day and if you DARE trample on my dream on your road to Empress or if I find out you're trying to use me like some throwaway napkin, I WILL trample over your dreams. Pickin' up what I'm puttin' down?
The conversation was getting intense, on Dominic's end at least. Blume took this opportunity to calm things down with a bit of off-topic small talk, Dominic welcomed it he didn't like getting heated over a simple conversation but needless to say, he hasn't been this pumped up in a while and he's enjoying every bit of it.
“Regardless, you have the Diamante Forge’s sponsorship for your matches since you enjoy it so much. I managed to sneak in a couple of your fights before the night started, actually. I may just have to ask you for a private lesson for self-defense purposes.”
"Oh shit, really? Damn with your name I'll be able to snag a fight in no time haha! Hell yeah! And really? I could teach you some basic stuff, you'll have to practice it on a dai-"

He stops midsentence as his head snaps to the side looking out at Karakura town, that howling caught his ear. He walked over to the rails of the balcony gripping it tightly, he wanted to go fight it. He reached into his coat pocket and was ready to text his uncle if it would be okay to go face that Hollow but he pauses, looking back at Blume.
"Shit, I forgot I agreed to work for you. Wanting me by your side must mean you want me as a guard which means I can't be running off to go do stupid shit. Guess I'll hang around here with you then, besides the Shinigami can handle it, right?"
He chuckles a bit at his last question, he doesn't put much thought into the existence of the Shinigami as long as they don't slip up in their duties he can continue living his normal life. Well, perhaps aligning himself with Blume has permanently put his normal life to rest.
"Oh! I don't work for free, I'm not asking for an obnoxious amount of cash, just enough for rent, bills, and food. You know, essentials. Just cover that stuff it'll be cool."

Despite the darker haired shinigami’s experience, he had failed in his task to slay the hollow, much less identify it as a Adjucha level threat. He knew he was dead, but he couldn’t do anything about it but close his eyes. He was scared as he was lifted up by the hollow. He couldn’t say a word but he did not show any fear to the beast, he did his duty and that’s all he could do. He failed, but he knew damn well to not give this beast its satisfaction, and so he didn’t, while the bat gave a grin that he so wanted to stab into. But he was lifted and turned around to have a zanpakuto slice him open, where the only look on his face was shock.
However the blood was in shock, he couldn’t do anything as he just sliced his friend apart, his eyes were widened and his heart racing as his inexperience finally showed, he was frozen in fear; fear of what he had done, and fear of the hollow. He didn’t know the rank it was, but only that it was a hollow and now he knew that this hollow far out classed him, but it was far to late for him to call for back up or flee.
All he could think of now was he would never be ready for a captains test, and tonight showed it. He wasn’t good enough for a seated officer postion, he was in tears by this point, he’s going to die a failure. It seemed he had time to reflect upon all his choices, but to him time was only slowed down for him. Though it was normal for everyone else, a blast would come destroying the Shinigami entirely, leaving small bits of flesh and meat, he was closer to be red mist than actual body at this point, some bones remained but they were scattered about. Though they fought they were woefully outclassed by the adjucha, but their battle with this being wasn’t all but useless.
The quincy were coming in, and creating a perimeter, for the hollow and to most likely track the where abouts of this hollow. Though the two Shinigami didn’t know of this, nor will the incoming Shinigami, despite these two not sending a message.

“Yes, of course, you’ll be paid for your services. And… you can start tonight.”
“Excuse me but, I was wondering if Mia here can show me the way back to the room, where I changed. I would like to head out for the evening and take care of some… business.”

The sound of Fred’s voice had caused Blume and Mia to both look up at the burly red-haired Quincy. Mia, while still looking up at her lady, had received a nod. They would all end up meeting together at the source of their concerns. Mia took Fred and guided him in haste to the room where his original clothes sat in wait.
“Right this way, Mr. Elbeck.”
Meanwhile, Blume and Dominic would begin to follow suit. Heading to where her right-hand still stood by the doors entertaining Dominic’s uncle, the elderly man caught sight of Blume and the look in her eyes. The party wouldn’t necessarily be on lockdown, but keeping the inhabitants of this party out of spiritual endeavors were of top priority. Stopping just long enough to speak, Blume turned to Astor and smiled with a gentle bow of her head.
“Sir Astor, I’ll be borrowing your nephew for the night. I’ll return him in the morning.” Her attention fell on Bradley. “Duty calls. Please let my mother know to handle things from here.”
A nod in return, Blume made a call for Mia, who came in a flash, with a white garment and pouch in her arms, and, hopefully, Fredrick in tow. Taking the white cloth, Blume fit it snuggly around her upper body, destroying the neat up-do her hair was in and letting her two-toned locks flow freely without care. Unfortunately, she didn’t have anything fitted for Dominic to change into, less he sported something beneath that suit of his. If he didn’t, she’d be more surprised. Fitting the pouch snugly beneath the skirt flap on her behind.
d1c5f31075fc5d49a53082c966704aa8.png

“One of our guests seems to have taken the initiative on our threat tonight. While it may be overkill, I’d rather be safe than sorry.”
Even though in uniform, Blume was still adamant about not stepping in. Having both Fred and Dominic fighting, and perhaps, Silas, and even Shinigami in the fray, that monstrous being that wreaked havoc would forfeit its life if weakened considerably. As the four of them were met with the cool air once more upon leaving the Diamante Estate, a secluded and empty area was where Blume had led them in order to form a large enough platform that would be able to carry all of them.
Once the other three were on, she’d have murmured a gentle “Hold on,” and begin their take off. Blume’s confidence was growing, especially with someone capable at her side. Out of the corner of her eye, she caught sight of that particular red-head and questioned whether or not that Silas man had reached a hand out in the interest of Fredrick. Mia had shaken her head upon Blume’s gaze, and she let out a gentle breath of relief.
So she still had time… But for how much longer?
Gently running her fingers against her side, Blume could feel her phone resting against her inner pocket. Maybe she could call her shinigami friend. Shizuka Hyouzoku, a strong member of the Gotei Thirteen. From what he told her, he could easily keep up with what they called a “squad captain”, but she had a feeling that he was only meaning to impress her. By all means, being a squad captain meant that he would be stronger than all of his subordinates… Ah, but then he did mention that Naruki was under his jurisdiction, so maybe asking for his help would cause trouble. Foregoing the idea, Blume considered the situation handled.
If perhaps these patrolling shinigami were unable to do their jobs, the balance would be upset if the Quincy were forced to act, and that would only be the beginning of the end. Life as each of them knew it would become a remnant of the past. Upon closer inspection, Blume could see that lanky Quincy's figure growing closer and closer as she caught up to him in little time and effort. Had he spared a glance in her direction, Blume would give a polite wave without any exchange of words. All who were present were aware of what they were to do.
Recalling the observation she'd taken with Fredrick and Silas against what Shizuka had called a "Bount," Blume could only do so much, or rather held from doing a thing at all. She considered herself to be the last line of defense. Imagining that if she perhaps stepped in to fight with them at Naruki, all of them may have been at a disadvantage at the defeat of the Bount. Mikoto, a patron of hers for years at Hanaben, attacked the Shinigami without a second thought. If it had been any other Shinigami and had Blume not stepped in to diffuse the situation, perhaps many others would have perished that day. The truce made when fighting their common enemy would crumble within seconds because of an outburst like that. Luckily, it didn't go any farther than that, and that night ended in joy with that group of individuals drinking and eating away without a care.
As they grow closer to the activity site, Blume could only wonder how the rest of them would handle the task of defeating another common enemy without stepping on toes.
