While Takashi focuses on his duty, he hears footsteps coming towards the gate from behind him. It's Himari, the second gatekeeper that has come to help Takashi open the senkaimon, something he deeply appreciated because he could not fully open it by himself. While Takashi and Himari began to open the gate the additional Kidō Corps members offered a helping hand as they also did the same as the seated members. As the Senkaimon begin to open a white light emanates from inside the door and extends upward into the sky of Soul Society. This was nothing new for Takashi to witness because he has seen this several times as a member of the Kidō Corps but even if it was not new, seeing this up close is still incredible. Even with the focus on his duty, Takashi notices that several members of the Kidō Corps have placed themselves behind Eizoku in two straight lines.
"Commence the realm boundary fixation process, be sure to utilize the collective wired fork blades in the process for extensive measure to channel your Reiatsu, four per each individual focusing on your particular area within the Dangai. Failure to secure and stabilize the Koryu will result in life threatening consequences for all of us."
Eizoku's order was heard clearly, there is no doubt about it .. he is a perfect leader for the group for this mission. Even with his weakened appearance, the group followed his orders and began their mission as they passed the threshold of the light vanishing from sight and leaving no trace of their presence. Takashi watched as the members went into the light but he did not see Eizoku follow them in. After a little while his gaze moves from the gate back towards Eizoku. The man has completely changed his appearance from sick and weak to healthy and strong in just a few seconds.
Ryugas_rpc_line.png

Takashi now realizes that he judged the man before he understood him and begins to think that he needs to find out more about him or at least ask him about the transformation. The gaze is locked on him and follows his every movement before Eizoku says.
"I'll be taking my leave..."
Shortly after the words are said, he enters the Senkaimon and leaves no trace of his presence. The peace does not last longer than a few seconds before Takashi feels vibrations in his right pocket where he wears his Denreishinki. Slowly, Takashi separates on his two hands from the praying formation and places his left hand on the gate to continue the flow of his Reiryoku. He quickly picks up the communications device from the pocket with his free hand and begins to read the message.
"Gatekeepers at the Senkaimon! I have a message from Kiku from the Fifth Division! We are coming back to the Soul Society within the next hour with precious materials that need to be taken fast and smooth to the confines of the Kido Corps Headquarters immediately. Anyone who stops this task is attempting treason."
After reading the message, he puts his Denreishinki back in his pocket and looks at the gate again before saying with a serious voice.
"We have received our orders from Naruki City! Let's get ready for their arrival."

With every one of the lieutenants finally arrived her bright green eyes scan each one. Some which she has known for many years, and the few new faces she is finally able to link to the name she has only seen on reports and official documents. She continues casually even as a door flies past her, and towards the man with a smile much akin to hers. Unfazed, she continues, after all, if a mere door was to best the newly promoted lieutenant... well, it would do plenty to tell her the condition of Fifth Division. She certainly could not underestimate him, after all, not only had been chosen for a promotion, but also had undergone hollowfication. How fast will his response be? Will he be quick enough to dodge it, or be stricken by it? She would not interfere. But it was not just him that underwent this metamorphosis, in fact, to her left sat another; Yasu.
Whilst her eyes were not directly on the young lieutenant of the Second Division, from her peripheral, Honoka sees the young woman's lack of livelihood. It is not only apparent in her demeanor, but as well as her voice. Did this affliction shared by her, Arashi, and Captain Oda drastically warp their sense of self? How couldn't it? Silently, she reaches over and lightly pats Yasu's head. Perhaps some had come to fear her and her dangerous new abilities, but to the Oki, it made little difference. Their alliances were clear, and it would be no different if it were a shinigami that went rogue. While the Head Lieutenant doesn't say a word as she begins to lightly ruffle the pink girl's hair, the warmth of her hand, and the gentlest of squeezes convey to Yasu Honoka's innermost relief to see her well and healthy.
To her right, the softest rustling catches her attention, and she turns her gaze back towards Lieutenant Kasumi, who, in the softest whisper, spoke to Honoka as she placed the Omamori before her, "A little gift for you. Even though times are hard right now I think this will help to lift off some of your burden, even if just a little." Her eyes are captivated by the small charm laid out before her. Fuyuko's reassuring smile is returned by Honoka's own smile, warm and bright. She's grateful for the gift, and after taking possession of it, she delicately runs her fingertips over the woven threads in admiration of the craftmanship. "Thank you, Fuyu-chan, I will treasure this deeply." Always one to be a sentimental one, the Head Vice Captain one to keep mementos given to her, but like anyone, had her favorites, and the charms from Fuyuko were quite special. So much, in fact, that she even had them framed and displayed in her personal quarters, as well as her office.
"Vice Captain Uekū, please be mindful of your strength." She pauses, As well as which direction the door opens." A soft sigh escapes her lips, something she expected... from Omoni. The broken door is immediately replaced with a new one by those outside. Shinigami prepared for the inevitabilities of the ridiculously powered lieutenants. One more unruly than the next. No one could predict the chaos that will ensue with all these characters together. She glances between Omoni and Jinnosuke, having once shared barracks during her and Omoni's time in 11th. She is quite relieved to see the two alive and well, no telling of the dangers the pair faced in the world of the living against the escapee from hell.
Finally her eyes set on Katsuo, with their eyes locking, she gives him a welcoming smile. She could tell he was nervous. How could he not be? He was young, and to suddenly become the one in charge of an entire division was a big responsibility. She couldn't help but sympathize. Her eyes squint slightly as she studies him, the anxious tapping of his fingers to a beat she does not recognize is nearly drowned out by others. She is aware of his and his brother's heritage as an Oda, but details were always scarce to come by, especially under the watchful eye of her mother, Naoki. Who long ago forbade the Oki from fraternizing further with the Oda. An obstacle Honoka overcame after her ascension into First Division, giving her additional resources of information. Now she has one face to face, and while she has many questions in regards to his family, they will have to wait. Now they all have many topics to address.
Her hands scan over folders and papers, passing three folders to her right, handing them to Vice-Captain Kasumi, to pass the remaining to Omoni, and so on. While she slowly slides another set to Vice-Captain Yugure, to pass the rest towards the other two. She opens her own, leaving it open on the table as she pours herself another cup of tea.
"Wonderful, now that we're all settled and ready..." She focuses her attention towards the Hageshi woman, "I see Lieutenant Abe of Ninth was unable to join us. How is her condition?" The concern for her fellow lieutenant is genuine, knowing her to be a sickly one. Often even accommodating to allow her to virtually attend meetings, such was not the case that day. Had her condition worsened? With her out of commission, her fellow co-lieutenant and captain gone, their division was left vulnerable, especially so after having received orders from the previous commander to organize and prepare for warfare. Worrying orders from Shobatsu. What exactly did he see to prompt such a change into the division? Perhaps someone capable will take the reigns soon and still her worries.
Her voice drops a few decibels, making her nearly monotonous, "...I'll start with letting you know that Nozamu Kyōraku of Twelfth Division has not only been stripped of his rank, but also captured in his attempt to flee to the Rukongai, and has been imprisoned in the Maggots Nest. The original announcement was only done in Twelfth Division, but I'm sure the news spread quickly." Not only did he disappoint her, but also caused resentment to build inside her, after the former lieutenant abandoned the Seireitei in their time of need. His knowledge of Hell could have prevented many of the casualties, much of the damage even. But the events transpired as they did, and this labels him a traitor to some, and a coward to others. She opts from selecting a word to describe him and his actions, and continues, "Twelfth has made several requests to investigate the anomalies that transpired in the world of the living, namely Naruki and Karakura..." She looks to Tenth and Thirteenth respectively, information that she will need from their reports, "...to analyze and determine if the garganta at all correlate with that of the one in the Rukongai." She sighs, speed reading past the lines and lines of requests filed by Nyūraku Kurotsuchi, "As well as the alleged finger of the God King, brought back by Maeda-san of Eleventh Division from his expedition in Hueco Mundo."
"To update you on some of the divisions without a lieutenant... Third division's third seat, Enso Aikawa, is currently in the Maggots Nest after the incident with the three shinigami from Seventh Division. Hopefully this does not escalate, or cause problems between the divisions. Further details are still being gathered as his story does not correlate with the evidence found so far. I am certain Sixth will get to the truth of this, as well as what happened in the Central Council's compound." She stops to take a sip of her lukewarm tea, sweet and aromatic. "Sixth has been very diligent and thorough during all these investigations."
"I want to put some worries at ease by confirming Shobatsu Murasaki is imprisoned in the Muken. " She pauses for a moment, as her mind is rushed with memories of that day, then continues in a slightly peppier voice, "I know the change was abrupt and shocking for many, if not all of us, but lets continue to working together to maintain the balance and the peace. With Captain Commander Kagayaki at the helm, our future looks quite bright."
She looks around to each of them as she speaks, leaving no room to be interrupted by questions as she claps her hands together lightly. She turns to her left, and gently gives Yasu a nudge with her elbow, giving her the floor to begin her report and recollection of events.

"FOUR DAYS AGO"
Higen-Divider.png

"Should you fail, I will exercise all of my might and power to ensure you become another Squad's burden. Undo the shackles that bind you, and overcome whatever holds you back!"
Those last words by Fuyuko Kasumi of Division 10, a lecture that was only fitting for this unit's certain shinigami that doesn't seem worthy in the Lieutenant's eyes, not even worth being in the ranks of the seated. Deep within his thoughts, while replaying everything she said over and over on one of the things she said to him.
"You apparently have some...things to work through. To me, it is only an excuse. Prove to me, to the Captain, to this Division that you wish to be here. Prove that you have the will to survive under Taichou's banner. I charge you with this task...in three week's time, you WILL, unlock your shikai."
The keyword in that line was "prove" himself to her, the Captain, the division. And the one thing Izanagi, the sleeping Demon, was questioning the entire time during his training with Jūryoku was "But why?". The sharp sound of whistling entered within his space only to sway to the side, away from the razor-sharp edge of Jūryoku's version of their zanpakuto. The keen blade managed only to slice a fraction of the purple hair of Izanagi, dodging just in time before suffering another injury, breathing slightly heavily with a few bumps and bruises among his chest, arms, and leg from hours of training inside their own space. An environment filled with gloominess and darkness, housing a forest in the background and ruins covered in thick purplish fog. The perfect representation of Izanagi's persona. A broken man, a shell of what he should be, can be—but clouded by his mind, doubts, and fears.
b7c9d906fa526e0cad012fb95f2fd2d0.png

"When are you going to focus, Izanagi!? Or shall I kill you now and be done with you?"
His voice was stern as he walked towards Izanagi with glowing purple eyes and a bright purple hair stuck out through this thick fog. The steps of Jūryoku were silent for a man in armor. Not a peep of clanking or metal escaped his person as if he was just air itself. Izanagi did not move; his body battered to the point that his will to continue had diminished over time. But yet, he tried to maintain a fighting stance, wielding the zanpakuto in front of him with two hands. Not a word left his lips, those eyes, and expression what gave way of what he has been thinking. Jūryoku has read him like a book, but then again, they are one entity, Jūryoku being the spirit, the real persona of Izanagi, a form unintentionally created by his challenging childhood and years of dissociative behavior. The manifestation of Jūryoku that has always passed off as split personality disorder was just Izanagi's hidden uncontrolled, unrefined spiritual power. Without his knowledge, the Sleeping Demon (睡眠 悪魔; Suimin Akuma) trained to not only control harness and unlock the full potential of Shikai but to achieve his natural power and bring it to fulfillment.
And just like that, Jūryoku disappeared from Izanagi's sight while appearing in the same second directly in front of him while thrusting a kick towards the injured abdomen. The thrust kick held so much power behind it and sent the limp body of Izanagi flying several feet away, violently crashing into a stone wall that barely stood—now shattered into pieces of rubble, with him lying in a pile. He grunted in pain, couldn't find the will to get back up. Frustration was building. It was frustrating having to prove himself all his life as this back alley street kid of the Rukongai, stealing to make a living but had only done so for the sake of being told to by people who called themselves the procreator of his existence. To joining the academy to prove himself that he was worthy to graduate, still having to prove himself to others. But not once did he ever think to prove to himself, owing himself to demonstrate that he has the skills to survive, not needing his goal to be guided by someone else's doubt. He doubted himself for so long, fear of becoming something he is already known for being. Fear of losing himself but, the more he admitted to these things, the tighter his grip around the handle of his sword gotten, as he lay in that pile of debris.
I'm done."
Were the only words Izanagi said out loud, without sharing further context or fully explaining what it means to his zanpakuto spirit. It was safe to assume he quits or possibly he gives up, admitting defeat.
"Quitting already? Pathe-"
The haughty spirit had been getting too ahead of himself, already jumping to the conclusion that Izanagi was quitting. Hence why the ruthless entity, Jūryoku, was cut off so suddenly. Izanagi had been slowly rising like a zombie from the grave, coming back full of life.
The Awakening {Listen while Reading}
"No! I'm done listening to you. I am done listening to people dictate my path. I decide on my course. I am taking control! And if I can't get to you! Then invite me….Jūryoku!"

By the time Izanagi finished his speech, expressing the newfound resolve through the anger, frustration, and rage manifested through Jūryoku. He was to his full height, though beaten, battered, and bruise, it seems as all those injuries and wounds are entirely non-existent. The entire frame of Izanagi shrouded in a very dark ominous purple glow; a pair of eyes were inside of his aura. This place's absolute integrity was beginning to break down by the now Awaken Demon's sheer force, face twisted, blacken around the eyes. There he stood anew. Where the fog dissipates, and the ruins were no longer exist in this plane—a pair of black and purple gloves worn around the hands of Izanagi. Almost immediately, with an outstretched, a large onyx sphere appeared; its size was enough to match Izanagi's height. Everything near and around him began to draw towards this massive orb, even air itself like a vacuum. The atmosphere would have felt this crushing weight upon them just from the spiritual pressure alone.

"FOUR DAYS LATER"

It has been four days since his training; despite the events that took place, he was mainly focused on training. After obtaining Shikai and learning how to control it, Izanagi has done nothing to hone his power more. Word one of their own who died during the mission in Naruki spread throughout the division like wildfire the day Shizuka returned. It did not affect him personally, for he didn't know the guy, nor his name. Even though it was in the reports, Izanagi is not big on people he doesn't know personally and just left it up to the rest of the unit to honor the man's memory and stayed in his lane on that subject.
Nonetheless, Ryuga pushed him to trained, feared it might very well be Izanagi in that same predicament one day. Though he rather had slept after coaching himself the last few days, Izanagi has come to realize that one does not simply tell Ryuga Iba no. And just like that, Izanagi had been dragged to a more private area, away from prying eyes, a place that very few these days go to when wanting to train. Izanagi's first time being here is a large area with nothing but large debris of boulders and miniature mountains. A perfect place to cut loose, at least from what Ryuga had said before. For hours the two had been at it hakuda style, back and forth the two had went, where Izanagi even went Shikai to showcase more of its power to practice with Ryuga to hone its abilities more. But though it came with great power, it also had a weakness. Ryuga was there to help him cover that weakness, to learn how to take advantage of it.
"Geez old man. Can we take a break now?"
Izanagi pleaded for a small break while beads of sweat dripped from the chin, both hands donned the Shikai form, but the orbs were not present at this time. Both hands were resting on the knees while slightly bent over, trying not to kneel on the way. Though he felt like a bag of bricks, he wanted to try and push through this workout exercise with Ryuga at the least. Izanagi wondered if Ryuga felt anyway responsible for not making it in time for the mission. Or is this training is truly just out of fear?

They had all made it in different ways, some more expressive than others. Chewing on the cherry licorice rope that she’d been munching on prior, the sound of something landing with a crackle sat in front of her upon the Tenth Lieutenant’s passing, and she managed a soft exhale through her nose. Clearly, she could have relied on Fuyuko more. They hadn’t seen much of each other since graduating from the Academy, and even more so after the difficult events of the past. Yet, she was still so kind as to get her these snacks from the World of the Living. Glancing over to where she sat, Yasu took the bag of chips and opened it just as she finished her rope candy.
“Itadakimasu…”
Digging her hand through the bag of chips, she continued looking around, watching as Fuyuko took her seat beside the Fourth Lieutenant, Omoni Hageshī. From what Yasu could remember of the mountain of a woman, she was fierce, and often she and Ochitsuki would go to Fourth after their training sessions to get snacks from their esteemed caretaker. Yūna was often busy, so she didn’t see him as often as she did his second-in-command. Arashi had come in not too long after, and she flicked her gaze over to him. She’d wondered exactly what had happened after her and her captain’s departure. After all, Tenzen Oda had detained him with a spell or two during his conversation with Itsuki Asakura. Had he any mediation on what lies inside of him? Perhaps she could follow him to the Fifth Division to ask his captain for assistance in controlling the liability that threatened her very life. Just as she was to address him, Yasu had watched the door sail from its origins and across the table, passing both her and Honoka, neither batting an eye nor really acknowledging it outside of seeing what its unintended target would do to avoid it if he could in the first place.
This had indefinitely signaled the arrival of the also not-so-newly promoted JInnosuke Uekū. Just as he was to take a seat beside her, Yasu had felt a gentle hand on the top of her head and looked to see that Honoka had provided her some sort of comfort. The bag of snacks had nearly dropped out of her hand and as the Head Lieutenant conveyed her unspoken feelings regarding her health and livelihood, Yasu felt the burning sensation behind her eyes, her vision slightly affected by the tears that had wanted to spill but to avoid it, she continued stuffing her face with the chips until she had practically choked on them from the amount that she filled her cheeks with. Pounding her fist against her chest, Yasu had managed to get herself together in time the moment Honoka had begun her report of her recorded events.
Somewhere between the chaos of the flying door and her dying from asphyxiation, the newest of all nine lieutenants had made an appearance. Scratching at the back of her head, Yasu could manage to recollect her memories and find the familiarity of the one that sat directly beside Omoni. K… Kazumo? Shit, what the hell was it? Katsuo? Having only seen him in passing upon her release from the Twelfth Division, Yasu didn’t have much to really go on besides the additional fact that Arashi had been his superior at one time. Now that the two were essentially face-to-face, would there be recognition or scorning?
Becoming shinigami of the same rank hardly warranted immediate respect. While those in the room could acknowledge one another’s strengths due to their history and experience with one another since their inductions, Yasu could hear the racing pulse that exuded from Katsuo considering he was fresh meat. While no one was exactly hostile, things would be established soon enough. He’d been graceful enough to show his skills that spelled the possibility of taking a captain’s position, yet fell short and settled himself into the rank of a lieutenant. She acknowledged that he was versed enough to gain a seat at this table, but how well would he fare against the others that surrounded him?
“I see Lieutenant Abe of Ninth was unable to join us.”
She’d almost forgotten that there was one or two missing from the table. Crumpling up the bag of chips, Yasu had wiped her crumby fingers on her pants and while passing the following documents, she listened to the elder shinigami, the intensity high, even from such a monotone voice once she’d begun. Yasu’s brows perked up, surprised that the reasoning for the unaccounted was Nozamu’s demotion was due to abandoning his post and then attempting to flee after slacking in his duties. While Yasu felt sad that she would no longer be able to get her free snacks that he’d experimented on, her disappointment was more pointed. She was dutiful shinigami and loathed those that did nothing or even went so far as to harm the home they’d joined themselves to guard with their lives. Rather than abandon their work, why not just kill themselves? If they were imprisoned, what good could they ever do? At least when reincarnated, they had the chance to do something else with their new lives…
Then came the news of the events regarding the World of the Living. Twelfth had the desired investigation to determine whether what had happened in the Rukongai had fallen in line with the events in both Karakura and Naruki. Unconsciously, Yasu had grabbed at her wrist, looking down to see her fingers trembling. Cursing in silence, it seemed as though the fear had yet to subside, and she could hear the cackling of that parasitic bitch inside of her head. The majority of what had followed, Yasu had heard through her informants. While she had felt nothing but complete fear after being exposed to Shobatsu Murasaki twice and nearly dying, Yasu cast a glance towards the Head Lieutenant upon her finishing, only to get nudged, clearly stating it was her turn to present her report.
“The Second Division has been rather busy.” She starts, idly pulling and popping the joints in her fingers over and over.
“After the release of the group of Vizards, I had been tasked with retrieving a certain individual who had been residing within the Rukongai for intel purposes.” The blank gaze she once held turned into a pained grimace. Unfortunately, the task had gone successful, but with casualties. I and Kazumi Fujioka had come across an encampment where shinigami of both the Second and Seventh Division were displayed as trophies or warnings.”
Yasu gestures to Arashi.
“With the assistance of Arashi Suta and his party, we had completed our objective and Kazumi Fujioka was sent back to the barracks whilst I assisted the Fifth Division in their endeavors.” The young lieutenant had gone from popping her knuckles to scratching away at the back of her hand, her right leg bouncing up and down rather rapidly. For some reason, she felt rushed and sick, as if she had to get out of the room. “Delving into the encampment, we crossed paths with Itsuki Asakura who’d long dealt with those that had caused difficulties to his area of control.”
“With no reasons left to stay, I had turned back to perform my duties assigned outside of my initial tasks, but then...”
She doesn’t notice, but the lieutenant’s actions began to grow even more restless as she recalls the hue of red that painted the blue skies that day, along with the imminent destruction due to Fifth’s mishap in completing their objective. “The events of the Rukongai had proved to be rather dire at the time, thus my announcement heard throughout the entirety of the Gotei Thirteen,” she was nearly finished, but the same sensation of what happened in the Rukongai the day of the Kototsu washing over her had caused her to pause. “It had ended as quickly as it started though… I imagine that the events that had happened within both Karakura Town and Naruki City had something to do with the occurrence with the 77th District.”
While she was done with the event's report, Yasu had shifted uncomfortably within her chair as she held onto a rather vital piece that may or may not affect her current standing. There was something that she admired about the newest Lieutenant, that being his tenacity and confidence to attempt the chance of gaining a foothold as one of the Seireitei’s squad leaders. She only wondered if there had been any resignation with his failure, but he seemed rather content. While she couldn’t say the same for herself at this point.
If she had no resolve here, then what was the point in taking the test? Surely those of the lieutenants within this room had an idea that she would make this sort of decision one day, especially Fuyuko. They’d always spoken of their dreams upon graduating, and while it seemed as though Yasu was living in contentment, she felt overshadowed plenty of times. Even during the fiasco within the First Division, Nibui Ueki spared no kindness towards her, overlooking her most often in their past meetings, and was rather colorful with his insults despite being a robotic number himself.
f6fc392ec83d19adb862c41f7c52d243.png

“I...” Yasu squeezed the flesh on her thigh to snap herself out of her meekness and practically yelled at them. “I will be testing!” Her face has gone completely red, and she was lost as to what was so embarrassing of her proclamation, yet covered her face with her hands. Those of them who knew her best knew that she had always possessed the Soul Society’s best interests. And there would be no change whether she had passed or failed. “I… will be attempting my captaincy exam soon. I am unaware of my summons for now.”
Please wish me luck.”

Yasu peeked at Omoni through her fingers and practically begged her to start on her own report so that the attention would shift.

Ryuga-Divider.png

Sitting in his room while the rest of the division is in the meeting lieutenant Kasumi ordered every member in the barracks to be present at. Knowing that he has not followed the orders she gave him because of personal thoughts and feelings. An act that will maybe forever affect Ryuga's reputation among the members of their division and, in the worst case, among the entire gotei 13. But right now, there is nothing he thinks about regarding his reputation and has full confidence that Shizuka will manage on his own. The thoughts that made him interrupt his journey through the senkaimon were focused around Izanagi. The new recruit to the division that he met several years ago when Ryuga was out drinking during a free time in the past. With his cigar in his mouth, Ryuga takes a deep breath and fills his lungs with the smoke and holds it in but only for a few seconds before blowing out a cloud of smoke out through the window. The last words he was told echoing in his head when he starts to think back to the selfish act he committed.
”You wish to prove yourself, to affirm your strength..then when there are times that demand your strength, do not hesitate. Do not wait. Now go...and assist Shizuka properly, as you should have done from the start.”
The words of his lieutenant and the knowledge that Ryuga has been disrespectful to her due to the action he has taken by not following her orders almost makes him leave his room to follow the orders. But Ryuga hopes that Shizuka will come home safe and sound and the same applies to everyone who is there right now with him. The thoughts about what might happen if Izanagi now fails to do Jinzen and get hurt makes Ryuga worry over him and it can be compared to what a parent has over their child and he intends to do all he can to help him. The silence around him is interrupted when he begins to hear footsteps outside the door and he understands that the meeting is over and that all members are following their orders. All he could do now was wait for the right opportunity to find Izanagi unseen.
Ryuga-Divider.png

”Several hours later”
Several hours have passed and the sun begins to set and the light in his room disappears more and more with each passing second. Ryuga thinks that now it should be easy to find Izanagi because he should be in his room as night approaches. Slowly he picks up his zanpakuto and places it resting against his shoulder.
”It's time for Izanagi to start training for real now..”
Standing in his room, Ryuga begins to focus on finding Izanagi by sensing his Reiryoku and it does not take long for him to find his target. But something feels different and that is Izanagi now seems to have more control over how his Reiryoku flows than before. With a smile, he activates his shikai by saying the release phrase.
”Tear it apart”
Quietly, Ryuga walks out of his room and walks to the door opposite his own which is the Izanagi's room. He does not even knock on the door and just opens it to see an Izanagi asleep sitting in meditation stance and it looks like he just finished doing Jinzen.
”Oh boy .. you seem to have been training hard and need to rest .. What a shame .. now it's time for more training.”
Ryuga stretches and grabs Izanagi's uniform by the neck and with a quick slash with his free hand he uses his shikai ability and creates a tear in space that leads to under the sokyoku hill. Before Izanagi would have time to react to what was happening, he threw the young shinigami through the tear to the place he decided to train him. Being thrown and removed from his room should surprise and awaken Izanagi enough to fully wake up while Ryuga goes through the same tear and closes it behind him.

”FOUR DAYS LATER”
Four days have now passed since Ryuga began to train Izanagi and the same amount of days have passed since the terrible news arrived and spread over most if not all divisions. Thoughts of whether the outcome could have changed if Ryuga just followed his orders instead of following his personal feelings gave him such shame that he barely wanted to return to the barracks. To meet lieutenant Kasumi , Shizuka, Gorou and knowing that he had betrayed their trust and the whole division created deep wounds in Ryuga's pride.
He has decided not to let a single member of their division die again if he can stop it and is now training Izanagi to face dangers on his own. His stubbornness really showed during their days together and the hard training he exposes Izanagi to. Everything from the four major Shinigami combat forms; Hakuda, Hohō, Kidō, and Zanjutsu to brutal physical training of his body and mind. In other words, for four days Ryuga and Izanagi barely slept and only focused on training and nothing else seemed to be on Ryuga's thoughts.
”Geez old man. Can we take a break now?”
Izanagi asked for a small break while sweat was shown coming from the young shinigami from the hours of Hakuda training. But he was not the only one who sweat because from Ryuga it looks like a waterfall flows from him down to the ground but he is still standing ready for one last move.
”A break? Surpass your limits. Right here. Right now.”
Slowly, Ryuga begins to take a very unique stance and makes a position in which he looks similar to a beast which lower his upper body and raise his lower body while preparing the tremendous raw strength in his legs. Both his hands are placed flat on the ground but still holding the body up and around Ryuga his Reiryoku begins to be released as an incredibly strong and thick reiatsu. The shape of a huge menacing Oni face that is floating above him in golden and black colors and is flickering similar to fire.
”I give you two choices Izanagi. Either you face me head on or you try to dodge me. ”
When the words are said he launches his body towards Izanagi, creating a shock wave from beneath him that cracks the ground. During the short time that Izanagi can choose what to do, Ryuga raises both his arms bent upward at the elbow 60–90 degrees. Aiming to swing one of the arms around the neck and bring the younger Shinigami down to the ground.
