He could feel his attention being pulled in multiple different avenues, this wasn’t unusual as the Third seat always had something on his mind or was always working out an angle for the detriment of whatever investigation or task he had on his plate at any given time. Unfazed by the amount of pots he would have to cook in his kitchen this time around, he stayed focused on what was important to his duty. While he could not outright piece together the events that led to the Black Coffin being raised, he was slowly gathering bits and pieces of clues that would potentially help him in either assisting his academy friend, or turn him in to be punished for his crimes. Shusuke knew more than anyone what would lie for Enso if the truth he told him had gotten out to the general public, assured imprisonment, or at the very least, execution for supposedly murdering two fellow officers in cold blood. He knew it may not have been cold, no. But someone's blood was very warm in this double homicide.
Keeping his hand upon the shoulder of the apprehended, while also taking view of the wild event that was the current state of the Rukongai, one could only think how could such chaos take place all at the same time? Oddly timed and eerily placed, the Rukongai seemed to be experiencing a great deal of environmental implosion, but at what cause? Why was this taking place? He placed his phone away while staring at the spectacle, only for his attention to be cut short by the suddenly fast arrival of one Fourth seat, Junko Izumi of the Division Four. He originally called them to help sample the blood stained into the Seki Seki.He didn’t however account for Enso’s own injuries which he found to be fairly odd. Given that the two shared a background in Zanjutsu, they have always prided themselves on leaving battles near unblemished, Enso in particular was a keen swordsman, he knew this and has also never seen anyone successfully break his skin while engaged in combat. So how has it so suddenly happened now?
”Junko Izumi, Fourth seat of Squad Four.”
She greeted him with a kind voice and a small bow, taking the detective by surprise. He looked away due to the level of comfortability he had with that sort of thing. He believed that no one should bow to him as he wasn’t anyone to be bowing to. He watched as her companions went to perform their duty, taking care of Enso’s damaged arm, however he still had his hand directly placed on his shoulder without removing it. Any good doctor should be able to work around that, he was still in the middle of his investigation, he watched Junko’s body language change once he saw the face of the man they were treating, he couldn’t help but notice the transformation in her expression once she realized who Enso was. He looked to her then to Enso, then back at Junko. He might’ve come across a lead but how did these two know each other? Her eyes were darting all over the Sevenths barracks, the walls that had been splattered in crimson liquid, to the stains that dried into the concrete. She knew this was something out of a horror scene, and while she might’ve not been afraid of blood, she was fearful of something else. He closely watched her actions before she began to speak. He could tell she was trying to find the words but they were just too far out of reach. After wrapping her mind around the situation at hand, she broke her silent submission.
”Why are his wounds so fresh? Who attack-”
Before he could answer, it was also at this same time, his own division mate, Sora Yoshima had arrived at the scene to back up his superior. He approached Shusuke still sounding entirely too green, he was hoping to rub that off of him shortly. In full stride, he presented himself with true Sixth Division pride. The shaking earth beneath them took Junko off course with her words as she lost her train of thought quickly, clutching for her blade as if an enemy had opened an attack on her. ”At least she’s no coward.” Shusuke thought. She would need that courage this day.
”Fifth Seat, Sixth Division, Sora Yoshima, here to help. Though whatever the plan is, I suggest we probably do it quickly, I’m sure I don’t need to say why I think that?”
He simply nodded to Sora without explaining the situation to him just yet, he was still sorting out the connection between Enso and this Fourth Division member. While he knew what Sora was referring too, it simply just wasn’t in his prerogative to see what was causing the Rukongai to be in such ominously timed peril. Mainly due to the fact that it wasn’t His direct responsibility or duty. He wasn’t charged with the protection of the Rukongai, nor its inhabitants. He was a Sheriff of the Sixth Division and he intended to do nothing but be within his own parameters. Taking his eyes off the display of the black opening and the implosions that would shortly take place, he pinned his purple globes on Junko first and had a very serious tone within his voice ensuring he wasn’t to be denied nor not listened to.
”Nevermind about the freshness of his injuries. Have your men finish treating him at the Fourth Division, and take samples from these pools of blood before they dry. I intend to identify the murders closely. Sora and I will accompany you back to Fourth Division to help with his escort, there I will question him further.”
He spoke concisely and sternly without putting off the Fourth member to his personality. He knew he could be very serious for when the time called for it, and this was one of those times. Taking his eyes off of her then placing them on Sora, he had some small words for him as well if he was to aid him in this transport.
”Sora, You’re going to be my backup in this escort. I need you to help Fourth carry Enso to their barracks. After which you will stand guard over him until the investigation is complete. Are you reading me?”
Delivering the exact tone to his comrade as he did to Junko, Sora would know that this was the law laid from his superior and it wasn’t to be defied. He motioned for him to approach he and Enso in order to take over the physical contact he had with him to transport the only witness to this murder. He would take two steps toward Junko and look her in her eyes once more, shielding the view of his face and hers from Enso’s view he whispered something to her low enough that it would be difficult to hear over the groundbreaking noises eroding from the outer walls of the Seireitei.
”You and I need to talk when we get there.”
He said calmly and without changing his blank expression. He wished not to scare the woman but he did need to act on the visual information he had just received through her own body language. He would await the responses of all before acting, but they all knew that this would be the best course of action given the circumstances and weight of what was currently at hand. He was on alert and was ready to move as soon as they were. If they were.

Eyes searching those of the new arrivals, Junko wanted nothing more than to send them away. The innocent calling of their voices-were these truly members of Sixth Division? Eyes wandering back to the carnage before them she could not help but imagine them meeting a similar fate. Irritation giving way to a rage, Junko stopped all thoughts in their tracks. As they spoke amongst themselves she stood in silence, eyes almost distant as she had her revelation. Though the man irked her so, his mere presence seemed to throw her into turmoil and give way to irrational thoughts. His reiatsu flared more than it had in the medical center, its devious tendrils snaking their way about her.
Breathing deeply she flared her own reiatsu, enveloping all those around her. In particular she focused on herself and that of Enso. For herself it was cleansing. Washing away her fear and uncertainty to be replaced with a calm mind that looked out to the world with unclouded eyes. Circling about him, pressing into every pore of his being as if to snuff out any trace of his own, she pressed her reiatsu down upon Enso. Focusing on his body more than his mind she pushed upon him a sedating effect. Her goal was the opposite of what she had done to herself. To obscure his thoughts, to make his mind swim in a fog of hazy confusion. Of course, true to her nature, these effects would be pleasant, making them all the more easy to succumb to.
Finished with his task, the member that remained with her returned to her side, murmuring his condition in her ear while she nodded lightly. He would require more extensive care, however, his wounds were closed at a superficial level. As long as he was not moved too roughly nor made motions too abrupt himself they would remain closed. It was enough for now. An emergency treatment until a relief station could be created in the area.
Eyes returning to Shusuke as he began to speak to her she gave him a curt nod. The Garganta was situated above the Rukongai- there was little she could do. Sending emergency units to the area would be the next step, but for her personally there was no cause for her to pursue the matter. She would simply have to keep an eye on the area to ensure the safety of those about her. When he finished with her, she gave an immediate and resounding reply.
"No,"
It may have sounded argumentative, and perhaps it was intended to sound as such. Regardless, Enso would not be entering their barracks or medical center again.
"the center is on a lock down. Nobody will be permitted entry."
Usually a bad liar, the guilt emanating through her reiatsu and giving her away, there was no sign of such in her explanation. The partial truth also shone through the deception that escaped her lips so easily. Despite all of this, regardless of who he was, she doubted she would have allowed the entrance of a patient-much less multiple shinigami- into the center after relaying her lock down command. As if summoned by her mere thoughts alone, two members approached with their arms and backs burdened by all the supplies. Confusion was obvious on their faces and Junko turned to them.
"Set up the relief tent here. We need another one immediately to test to blood samples from the scene."
A quick reply of affirmation and they began the task, Junko wordlessly turning to face Enso's limp form. Shusuke's words reached her, though with her face displayed to ailing man she gave no reply nor did her face even show the slightest hint he had spoken to her. All she could do was close her eyes for a few long moments before opening them and resuming her focus with the hope that he would understand her message. Arms extending out before her they begin to move as the incatation left barely parted lips. Perhaps it seemed extreme, her only logic explained to the other being that it was for his own safety. This was true, given Enso's current state, despite the undertones that also motivated such a move.
"Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini. Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat,"
The red aura surrounded her, the spell preparing to fire.
"Bakudō number nine, Geki."
The energy moving from her to Enso he would soon be engulfed, paralyzed by the spell. The quick moving squad members had already erected the tent and placed a cot within, leaving Junko to merely step aside and wave a hand to those who were instructed to move him to Fourth's barracks.
"Be careful to not move him too much."

Though his attention was taken by the giant ripple in the sky and the Garganta crashing into the Rukongai, thus creating a powerful shake throughout the Seireitei; Sora the 5th seat of the 6th Division was right. Without knowing what or who was abou to appear from the Garganta, it was out of their power to handle and their main priority should be to handle the problem at hand, the murder of several Shinigami within the 7th Division.
”Hey Hideaki, there isn’t much we can do here so I am gonna go on ahead and meet up with Shusuke and our other two strangers. If this person is capable of taking out three Shinigami.. Well would like to have a fourth with us just in case?”
Hideaki stood by for a little while longer, whilst Sora had gone forth toward Shusuke’s location. Making a decisive decision to join the others and aid them with the current situation at 7th Division, Hideaki shifted his direction and darted forward with his extremely fast Shunpo. Arriving just in time to see a tent being set up around a purple haired man. Hideaki approached Shusuke's side, smiling widely like the odd goofball that he is and introduced himself. ’’YO Shusuke-san!’’ It was like the man could not read the seriousness of what had happened here, the murder of three Shinigami. However, Hideaki knew full well, how serious a crime this was.
His eyes were in fact studying the crime already; seeing the splatters of blood upon the floor, belonging to the ones obliterated by the Hado 90 spell. Seeing the man the tent was being put up for and taking in his injuries; though also reading the man’s reiatsu signatures; which seemed to be rather low currently, however also giving off a bad vibe of sorts. That which was made clear to him, when the one closest to him, a beautiful woman was also shielding herself and others with the use of her own reiatsu, including Shusuke and Sora. Knowing that, it seemed, at least judging by what he could sense and see, that the man being suspected of releasing the Hado and having killed three Shinigami was the purple haired man. He turned his attention to Shusuke and with a whisper, he asked, ’’Shu-san, so, want to fill me in on what is happening brother?’’

As emotions flared, the instructor would have no choice but to "regain" consciousness before the situation spiraled to a point in which he would have to act against those around him. Doubt plagued his mind when he thought of the Kiyoshi, fully aware of the man's intentions and his intelligence. If anyone knew what Shusuke was going to do next, it would undoubtedly be Ensō. Yes, the two knew each other well. At least, that's what Shusuke believed. The clown knew him all too well, but the 3rd seat of the Sixth had only ever known the kind and talented instructor. While his outward appearance was quite meek, he always compensated for it with his skillset. In this instance, he had shown a different kind of skill set, yet it was not visible to those around him. As they all spoke, his body remained dormant, being tended to by the medics of the 4th Division. They were doing the job and for that, Ensō had no choice but to praise them. Especially given their level-headedness despite the outstanding circumstances that were right before them.
A crime scene that held victims in the form of blood-stains and the man responsible for this was before them. Thus far, he had exhibited no signs of foul play. Every word that spilled from his lips spoke the truth, denoting that he had utilized Kurohitsugi in order to subdue the three attempting to murder him, but he had lost control. Through losing control as he put it, the Black Coffin had done far more damage than he wished. Much like the old Captain of the 7th, the three were meant to be lacerated so that they could not fight; but they were instead made into bloodstains. His outward appearance and words had forsaken his own actions. The instructor was adamant about the fact that he was ashamed of what had happened, but he also laid the groundwork for this game of cat and mouse. His wounds becoming apparent to the man shouldn't have come as a surprise. In a match of three versus one, sustaining injuries wouldn't be uncommon, especially considering that all three that had perished were utilizing their Shikai, while Ensō hadn't released his once. It was this reluctance to release his Shikai that had likely resulted in these wounds. At least, that's what any deductive mindset would arrive at when concluding what had happened alongside what was presented.
” Nevermind about the freshness of his injuries. Have your men finish treating him at the Fourth Division, and take samples from these pools of blood before they dry. I intend to identify the murders closely. Sora and I will accompany you back to Fourth Division to help with his escort, there I will question him further.”
Now, this was a man abiding by the laws that were enforced by his own Divison. Even though there was a looming threat, it was evident that he knew where his duties lied. The resistance that would be brought forth by Junko of the Fourth was something that while unexpected, was not unwelcome by the Shinigami of the 3rd. As she made her way over to the man, he had already surveyed with his nose that she was acting rather odd. There was no emission of his Reiatsu, nor remnants. Something was off with her and she was angry. It seemed that her misplaced anger was clouding her judgment. This would play against her in the coming moments. As she neared the man, his Maddening Reiatsu did not come forth. Instead, his regular Reiatsu which had a paralytic effect flared as he raised himself to a standing position, the wounds on his back opening as blood ebbed down in massive streams. A stern tone came from his voice as she attempted to press her Reiatsu down upon him, only to be offset by the man's own Immense spiritual pools and mastery of Reiatsu.
"I have no clue why you're so angry, Junko of the Fourth Divison. Your quickness to anger betrays you. If the Garganta opening in the sky hadn't snapped me back into a conscious state before you began to emanate your threatening presence, I surely would've had some troubles." His remarks let those within the vicinity know exactly how she was feeling. Piecing together her emotional state wouldn't be hard with testimony from the Third Seat himself.
"But allow me to say this... If you continue to force yourself upon me, I'll have to refuse your treatment and formally ask the Sixth Divison here to apprehend you for your actions against a wounded man." Like venom, his words would seep into her mind, despite their lack of an ulterior motive. He was frustrated with her actions thus far, it seemed. Because of this, he wouldn't let her proceed any further. Shusuke of all people knew that the Shinigami was capable of Kaidō and could heal his own wounds without the Fourth so long as he remained conscious. Pressing on once more, the man-made a bold, yet reasonable statement.

"And if the Sixth Divison will bear witness, I have no problem defending myself against someone who is supposed to be a medic attempting to bring more harm unto me, Junko, seeing as your anger betrays your rationality." The lack of honorific was intentional and the man's vexed state became more palpable as the air around them became heavier, but not because of his Reiatsu. At the moment, his Reiatsu that he had flexed wasn't doing anything but coating him. Those who would touch him would've intentionally afflicted paralysis had they continued.
With a Garganta in the sky, there was no limit to the possibilities of what could happen. The man knew of what ensued. Since he hadn't truly fallen unconscious, his expertise in sensory allowed for him to keep track of all that surrounded him. Should Junko flare her Reiatsu again, or excite her Reiryoku for the Bakudō that she was going to potentially bring forth, he would have no choice but to defend himself and utilize Bakudō of his own to bind her with the Sixth Divison as his witness. Although they weren't well versed in healing as the Fourth Divison and the Shinigami from the Third, they all should've picked up on Junko's hurried nature and odd attitude, especially given the Shinigami's persistent testimony. Should she continue and attempt to utilize her spell, she would find herself bound within the same second that the incantation would start. His optics were not upon her any longer, but rather; they were now on the adjudicator. At the moment, he was the one who was allowed to give orders, given the situation and his status within his Divison in comparison to the others arriving. Speaking aloud as Kaidō from his own spiritual energy reserves began to encompass the instructor's back, his eyes held their conviction as he spoke once more while the flesh on his back began to repair itself with each passing heartbeat, his bleeding stopping altogether.
"Now, Shusuke-kun, look here. I am not one to give you orders, but I can ask you to utilize your reasoning. Please take me to a cell, far away from this Fourth Divison member. My trust of the woman has run out, and you of all people know that I am not one to speak such words unless I have probable cause to do so." As his web spun, every word did not miss a beat and there was no suspicious activity to pick up on. Ensō had abided by every rule set out thus far while simultaneously giving himself up for questioning.
"If anything, you should get the Captain of the 7th Division — better known as The Spirit Detective — over here when this mess is over with. Knowing him and his reputation, he can get any answers out of me that you seek. Perhaps the two of you can even collaborate. Anything is fine, so long as I'm not subject to unreasonable methods like this angry nurse is attempting to employ."
Being able to smell emotions was indeed a powerful tool. One that the man had utilized in tandem with his own deceptive ways. This was not arrogance by any means, no. Six hundred years of life didn't leave room for one to be sloppy, but it did allow for the man to be the voice of reason during times of emergency. Surely, they hadn't forgotten that he was the Vice head instructor of the Academy that deployed Shinigami into their respective Divisions. Those around him needed to think a bit harder on what exactly they were going to do. Ensō had presented them with the ideal situation — one which he would not resist. Oddly enough, the man in question had presented them with the most feasible solution.

”Sora, You’re going to be my backup in this escort. I need you to help Fourth carry Enso to their barracks. After which you will stand guard over him until the investigation is complete. Are you reading me?”
Sora followed alright, looking over to the man he was supposed to keep an eye on. Though he had arrived in order to help Shusuke in whatever way he could, something about this wounded shinigami rubbed Sora the wrong way. He could vaguely remember the man from the academy and knew he wasn’t a student so had to have been an instructor or maybe someone scouting for potential shinigami to fill the ranks in their division. Sadly his lack of own personal information on the wounded man would make analyzing the man that much more difficult, though he could see that the shinigami was, despite his own injuries, focused on something elsewhere and even though his eyes were directed to the Garganta, an obvious threat, Sora couldn’t shake the idea that most people in Enso’s position would be in more distress. Sora could well have arrived after the Shinigami in question found the fortitude to pull himself together, and if this guy had the strength to display such devastating power, turning a trio of other Shinigami into indistinguishable crimson stain on the ground, then there was still a chance of some other tactic or skill the guy could have up his sleeve.
Even so, Sora only hesitated his steps towards Enso long enough to try and get a read on the person he was charged with, taking merely seconds before nodding to Shusuke and taking those first steps towards Enso. Before even making too much distance to his charge, Junko quickly cut in with her own ideas and explanations, making it difficult to carry out the orders he was given by Shusuke.
"No,"
"the center is on a lock down. Nobody will be permitted entry."
"Set up the relief tent here. We need another one immediately to test to blood samples from the scene."

Sora simply stopped in place for a second while 4th divisions Junko began to make her own orders and demands, leaving Sora to simply wait for the tent to be risen up so that he could watch Enso from here while 4th division did what they did best. Though she showed little sign of her true thoughts or emotions, Sora got the general idea that she didn’t trust Enso either. While keeping this thought and his own “uneasy” feeling about Enso in mind, Sora did not see this as reason enough to condemn the man on the spot, as he was obviously a man of some merit, otherwise Shusuke probably would have already attempted to bring him to justice, one way or another.
Hearing Hideaki yell out as he caught up ”YO Shusuke-san!” forced Sora’s attention elsewhere, turning only his head around to get Hideaki into his peripheral, just enough to let a thankful smile be seen to those behind him. It was nice that Hideaki decided to join the investigation, from the sound of things, we were gonna need all the help we could get. However this almost confident feeling would get blown away by confusion over the course of the next few seconds, perhaps longer depending on how things planned out. Hearing Junko speak the incantation of Bakudo number 9, Sora quickly turned his attention to Junko and Enso, reaching for but not drawing his Zanpakuto, simply taking its grip into his hand.
"Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini. Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat,"
The first thoughts going through Sora’s head in this instance was the wonder of if something like this was even necessary, the man was already wounded after all, even if most of them were more superficial than anything else. These thoughts were also quickly pushed aside as another spiritual pressure began to flare, Enso’s. Watching the man slowly move to his feet, most of his wounds beginning to open back up with each strain on his damage body, it was kind of astounding that the man could move through the pain like that, and even began flexing his own spiritual power in order to combat the Junko’s Bakudo. It seemed that Enso wasn’t having it with Junko, claiming her to be angry towards Enso as the reason she had acted out against him and even going as far to state and make his own demands. Surely his word had weight, he seemed to be fairly well known despite Sora’s lack of information, or perhaps just his foggy memory. But even so, Junko’s Bakudo was far from threatening, a kido meant specifically to bind and paralyze the target, only damage being caused when the target struggles while under its effects. Perhaps not the best kido for the situation but still far from threatening.
Still listening to Enso’s demands and requests, Sora was simply waiting to hear what Shusuke planned to do, afterall, the whole tone and mood of people in the area had shifted, and not for the better. Junko was irritated, if not full blown angry with Enso, who in his own way seemed to be angry with Junko, though trying to keep a calm yet bold demeanor about him as he presented himself further. Sora was curious as to just how much sway Enso thought he had in this situation, after very clearly being placed under arrest. Despite this odd confusion, Sora simply stood his ground, with his hand still ready to unsheathe his Zanpakuto should he need to; making one last head turn towards Shusuke as if to ask what his new orders were.
