Wind flew through the girl's hair as the Lieutenant Shunpo her to the fourth division barracks. Her eyes closed tight, throat sore, and her arms i a pain that was completely indescribable. She was still in shock, but she stopped screaming when they got in the air, but that didn’t stop the silent tears leaving her eyes.
She still was a little bummed that it ended up like this. She was starting to get really excited; confident even. But that was thrown out of the window. And now she has to go to fourth to get put back together, if they were even able to do so. She heard of their work, how amazing they were. Hell, this was their specialty. But that didn’t stop the blue haired girl to be a little weary.
She knew they had arrived because the wind had slowed down, but she didn’t open her eyes. And she was happy she didn’t because within seconds, people were around them, talking loudly. Some in awe at what they were seeing, some a little angry that they didn’t enter from the gate, others asking what was going on.
It was maddening.
She felt herself being taken from Katsuo, which she didn’t fight. She wanted to be as far away from the man as possible. She knew, deep down, that he was only trying to teach her the ways of how it was outside the training room. But, she also felt she could trust him. He knew her training style more than a lot of people, and she would never have thought he would go this far.
She opened her eyes slowly to see a man carrying her. She didn’t know him, which made it a little less embarrassing. They didn’t speak as they lowered her onto a metal table, and she easily allowed them to place her there.
She still could hear from outside the door of the clinic. She heard the hurried footsteps of someone coming towards the clinic.
”Liutenant Od we brought them..
Suddenly she felt sick. She knew what they were. Her arms. She slowly looked to the right, staring at the stump there. Armless. She felt a few tears starting again but she held them in. She was tired of crying. She was tired of feeling sorry for herself.
This could be a good thing.
Every new story of growth has setbacks. And this was one of them. Yes, it caused her to lose trust in a friend and go through pain she never felt in her life. She hoped she could go up from this, get better.
Get stronger.
This was the mindset she had when the women had walked into the room again. She didn’t look as she placed her arms down onto the table. She didn’t say a word, her eyes not leaving the ceiling.
And they got to work, almost instantly which Himari was thankful for. No questions, no nothing. It made her comfortable. And before she knew it, the pain from her arms was completely gone.
She couldn’t feel anything at all.
She let them work, not moving an inch. She felt their Reiatsu as they worked, making her slowly open her eyes to see them place her arm by the hold it belonged to. It was fascinating, watching as their reiastu’s bonded her arm back on. It was truly amazing what the shinigami race could do.It always fascinated her.
Not too long later, he women stepped back, and a group of others came and cleaned her up. Cleaning the blood away. When they had wrapped her arms, they lifted her off the table, walking her out of the room.
As they did, she looked back at the women. Not saying anything but nodding her head in thanks.
She hoped, after this, she could use her arms normally again.
