Kazumi stands expressionless, perhaps Lieutenant’s Suta’s words did not reach her. Simply through one ear, and out the other. Only she knew, of course, her mind trails to the wounding words left on her spirit. Captain Mukuro holds a fearful grasp upon her, but all Arashi could see in the time that he speaks to her, is that her life sits on the edge. Her well-being is being tested, her loyalty even. Nothing else to say, nothing else to put into understanding. Kazumi, regardless of what she was thinking about, has her orders.
Her guilt is fleeting as she finds a space full of acceptance. A lack of control seems to fuel the idea of having no worries. She couldn’t control it, so why linger on meaningless thoughts? Whatever troubles that plagued her mind before, it wasn’t any of Arashi’s concern at the moment, but he nods his head when she extends an act of respect towards him. That same action is then directed to Lieutenant Yugure, more apologetic than the one he received. Perhaps the guilt did not totally flee from her persona. Regardless, she gives lasting words before her departure.
" Apologies for the delay, Lieutenant. I wondered if you would like me to send back up once I've given my report."
Kazumi further evaluates her standing, recognizing the position she has put herself in. Her fear for her Lieutenant, her ego, and pride as a Shinigami did not display the courage and honor she possibly hoped for. Instead, she realized wholeheartedly the amount of disrespect shown to her superior. However, Kazumi finds confidence, such confidence that it allows her to form a smile, and while Arashi’s is never-changing, inside he was glad to see this side of Kazumi. She leaves, but not before finishing her final statement. She points, her words spoken into existence to reassure her faith in the Lieutenant and the Squad she stands with.
" Though my Lieutenant doesn't need back-up."
“ Go,”
Lieutenant Yugure commands.
Finally, she takes her leave, and now Arashi can reconvene with his Squad, bringing along the help of Lieutenant Yugure and Eizoku Yugameru. As they arrive, the subtle tap on his shoulder is felt, his head turns to Lieutenant Yugure watching her stretch. Perhaps she hoped for a fight to blow off some steam.
“ Let’s party.”
Unfortunately for her, the party she sought to crash had ended early, but from their view, nothing seemed to be going on. Slowly, a crack in his eyes, visible orbs traverse the scenery. He expands his senses of spiritual power thoroughly. Something wasn’t right… The machines he heard had suddenly stopped, but as the silence began to befall this vast encampment, Arashi’s eyes shifted towards Eizoku, who had plainly drawn his sword, and in tow, gripped his blade. He watched it shatter, but no blood is produced, no noise is made. Is this his Shikai? Arashi watched closely as he spoke the name granted to Eizoku by the residing spirit.
" Warp time, Kuronosu...Shall we begin..?"
As every soldier of the great Gotei 13, as every Zanpakuto that is endowed with extraordinary powers, both are ready to move, ready to act without hesitation. He hoped that this energy that Eizoku exudes from mere personality can rub off on Himari. Of course, he awaits instruction, and just like Lieutenant Yugure, he awaits a fight. Suddenly, the Kido spell he used to conceal them is expelled, revealing their location to only one man located within the forsaken Encampment. A small spiritual power, rivaling that of a mere villager. However, Arashi finds suspicion in this signature being the only one within such a large base.
The specs of light used as a catalyst to expand the use of Kyokko is driven into the sky above, mixing and blending with the natural rays of light from the sun, simply hidden from sight. Arashi is seeming without a Zanpakuto entirely, but only fools will see this and believe him to be at a disadvantage. His lips part, words were spoken with fluidity and authority. There is no pause, no room for questioning, and meaningless emotion. Now that their position is revealed, he had to be wary, cautious of the potential danger that can and could be hidden within. Whether it be the singular presence he senses or something else entirely. The blood river source is still active, concentrated, and it needed to be destroyed. That is his mission, but he can not leave the signature he senses unaddressed.
” Eizoku, Himari. There is a change of plans.”
He commands their attention, with his visible eyes locked upon the both of them. Though Himari had not been around for the plan he constructed with Lieutenant Yugure and Eizoku, she is likely to be confused, but quickly new orders are given, furthering the quick dissipation of her confusion.
” Head towards the source of the blood river. Secure the area and make sure there's no one else here. For some reason, the Camp is empty, with no signs of life besides one spiritual presence. Me and Lieutenant Yugure will investigate.”
His eyes shift, extending to the four blue coats that were personally brought by Arashi from head Quarters.
” Hyōga Seiran, this Hado should suffice in the constriction of the source, keeping it secure and allowing for immediate destruction after. Make sure no trace of it is left when you are done. Your efforts and the task will be shielded by Himari and Eizoku, along with the five fifth division members brought by Himari herself.”
Their orders given, hoping that they will not run into any further issues. However, the quietness of this camp is unsettling. With such a large encampment, how can there be no one here? No resistance of any kind, but it becomes clear to the corpses of two guards left at the front entrance. Maybe the presence he senses now is the cause of this… Arashi’s eyes close, turning his head towards Lieutenant Yugure, ready to depart to see what belongs to this presence that resides in solitude. Arashi stands as no fool, assuming for the best that this soul already knew of their arrival
” On me, Lieutenant Yugure.”
A head nod, followed by a swift flash-step, in tandem the four 専門家Senmonka(Specialist) of HeadQuarters move in unison, flash-stepping to the destination of their mission. Eizoku, and Himari along with the remaining five members of the fifth division will have to keep up with members who are in a class of their own, having held the responsibility in aiding and protecting the High-Priest(s) of the Kido Corps. Upon their immediate arrival, the teamwork they display is both flawless and without words, or simple gestures to direct each other. They are seemingly but a single mind, moving as one well-oiled machine operating at full capacity. Standing together at one end, side by side, shoulder to shoulder as a single-arm is outstretched, supported by the other hand gripping at their own forearm. In unison, they speak.
” Hyōga Seiran!”
Seemingly commanding the element of ice, a monstrous flow of the element discharges from the palms of each of their hands. Within minutes, no, seconds, the mighty flow of ice encompasses the great source of the Soul King’s blood. Every inch of the pool is frozen solid along with the outskirts of the tents, cargo boxes, and even the great machine that was utilized for whatever diabolical purposes. The Hado cast holds the power to break through even the famed Bakudo, Danku, which has been recorded to withstand Hado spells up to 89 respectively. However, having been used by four specialist members from the Kido Corps simultaneously, they have successfully covered a large portion of the encampment in ice any survives that may have lingered or perhaps hidden effectively.
Remaining as a stream, the four Senmonka(Specialist) projected the majority of the power towards the blood source, even managing to keep it from traveling to every corner and section of the base, protecting both the Captain of squad seven, Arashi, and Lieutenant Yugure, as well as the squad comprised of Eizoku, Himari and her men as they are likely in the process of searching for any more stragglers, whilst, covering the position the backs of the four Senmoka(specialist). However, such Kido does not go unnoticed, as Arashi witnessed it first hand at the exit of his flash-step, which puts him in front of the man who wears the famed Haori of the Thirteen Court Guard Squads. Captain Asakura Itsuki, of the Seventh Division. Noting the Haori, Arashi immediately extends his respect, bowing his head before straightening his posture. Captain Itsuki should undoubtedly notice the smile on his face, his iron will, and stoned expression that isn’t bothered by the bodies that surround him. Their fate has already been decided, though, by less gruesome means than shown, Arashi is clearly, and unmistakably not troubled by the sight before him, despite his inner-hollow desperately knocking and scratching on the walls of his mind. His eyes remained seemingly closed entirely, unable to see, but surely the Captain is no fool to believe the Lieutenant to be blind and oblivious to the violence around him, or rather, around Captain Itsuki himself.
” I did not expect to find a Captain out this far, but if I had to take a guess. You must be Captain Itsuki of Squad Seven, and it seems you have been expecting us? Well… Squad Five at least...”
While Lieutenant Suta speaks to Captain Itsuki, the four Senmonka(specialist) do not waste time admiring their work, they act in quick succession. Their arms still poised with reiryoku, raised with their palms exposed. Electricity cackles, engulfing the entirety of their arms and palms. As mighty as before, they command strength, in hopes to rival or totally annihilate the kido that was just used, and in conjunction, the Soul King’s blood. Congregated spiritual power, the four mouths of the Senmonka(specialist) open once again… Their booming voice, echoing through the Base.
” Hadō #88. Hiryū Gekizoku Shinten Raihō!”
Praised to be one of the mightest kido, only to be used by masters at the art. In the arsenal of the four Wizards of the Kido Corps, they aim to show their dominance, and determination to complete the assigned task. They hold nothing back. Fearsome in all its glory, a thunderous boom sounds raising the dust from every inch of the base. Trees shake the ground shutters and breaks. Birds move in flocks, hurrying as they race to the heavens, fleeing the area as fast as they can, their wings beating against the air, hoping to propel their small frames away from the beam of power headed their way. This beam of electrical and spiritual energy towers above the hills of the Rukongai, as the Kido is released from four hands. Melding and combining into one singular blast focused on the source of the Soul King’s blood. The ice that once envelopes the area is shattered by the power, evaporated by the heat. A mighty explosion sends shockwaves throughout the entire encampment as the beam extends farther than the eye can see, well beyond the outskirts of the Base.
In the distance, a massive explosion, climbing to the heights that can only be reached by mountains, able to be seen from great distances. Citizens of the Rukongai feel the tremors, turning their heads, only able to witness the mushroom cloud that towers above all. Slowly, but surely, the dust settles, as the four Senmonka(Specialist) of the Kido Corps drop their hands to await the results of their combined power. Despite the shockwaves, and the rumbling earth that passed through, Arashi’s position does not budge. He doesn’t raise his hand to shield himself from the rushing dirt and debris that move his way. His clothing fluttered and billows away from what had just transpired. Still, as always, his focus remains upon Captain Itsuki. He had faith In Lieutenant’s Yugure’s strength to not be bothered by the devastating strength of the kido. He had equal faith in his subordinates to be standing and functioning as they had been.
So what of the source?
In the wake of the beam, the ground is erased, no trace of anything in its path… From their eyes, so far, the source of the Blood has been entirely eradicated. Even so, Arashi’s mind is still plagued by the thought that no one was here to defend it… Yet there are bodies that line the road to this base… Is it a ruse? Is this source also a blatant action to deter him and his team? Visibly, his smile fades. His arms slide within the sleeves of his Shihakusho. Perhaps he did not accomplish his task. Perhaps there is still more to be done… So what did Captain Itsuki know? How long has he been here? His name matches the report. He was the first Soul reaper to encounter the Soul King’s blood…
Today, they may have won the battle, but the war is still ongoing. At least, this is how Arashi felt...

The girl felt more at peace with seeing the two Lieutenants and the male with whom she didn’t know walk up to where she and she mean had secured. She was about to speak but the no named male had already beaten her to it, his hands grasping onto his Zanpakoto. The way he moved with ease, without hesitation, made the younger girl a little jealous.
“Warp Time, Kuronosu…. shall we begin?”
Interesting. This must have been his Shikai. She placed her hands on her own Zanpakoto. She hasn’t really used it outside of training. But she knew her ability would probably be of some use here. She didn’t know what would come at them, and her ability to be able to freeze an object, even a person, would be great asset. In the time that came, it would be the first time she would have used it in battle.
It excited and also made her nervous. But she had to stand her ground, and act without being told to, like how this man just did. Or she will always be behind.
Himari suddenly felt something was off. It happened to suddenly that she didn’t know what her caused it, but she scanned around. Something was right. It probably was nothing, but they were out on a mission. This could be something. And they had to act on it. It seemed that Arashi also had thoughts because he suddenly speaks
“Eizoku, Himari. There is a change of plans.”
Eizoku. Must be the name of the guy whom she didn’t know of. Which meant he had to also be in her division. But she didn’t even know there was a plan in place at all, so she didn’t have time to dwell on that. She was about to retort but Arashi was quick, he knew she would have been confused so he kept on.
”” Head towards the source of the blood river. Secure the area and make sure there's no one else here. For some reason, the Camp is empty, with no signs of life besides one spiritual presence. Me and Lieutenant Yugure will investigate. Hyōga Seiran, this Hado should suffice in the constriction of the source, keeping it secure and allowing for immediate destruction after. Make sure no trace of it is left when you are done. Your efforts and the task will be shielded by Himari and Eizoku, along with the five fifth division members brought by Himari herself.”
She felt a little better to know that Arashi was unsettled by the emptiness of the camp. The camp held the blood river, the main target of their mission. How come there was no one here guarding it? It was suspect. Something was going on here, but the young girl couldn’t place what was it.
She would nod, quickly before she would quickly turn towards the five men who remained, and then lastly at Eizoku. She was one to not trust someone whom she had just met. But that had to be thrown in the back end right now. They had ordered and she had to follow them.
With a swift movement, she flash-stepped to the source of the blood river. Not too close, but enough to have been around anyone who had been protecting the river. The spiritual pressure was undeniable. But there was nothing else. No other spiritual pressure other than the ones who had accompanied her. It was so strange.
She was brought out of her thoughts as an explosion would suddenly embark. Cast straight to the blood river. She knew it had to have been a Hado spell, one only to be cast by a master. So she suspected that Arashi had called for help with that. As the explosion embarked, Himari would quickly take out her Zanpakoto, her eyes scanning the whole place. Her posture ready for an attack. But there was nothing. No one.
It scared her.

“On me, Lieutenant Yugure.”
“Haihai.”

Her laid-back attitude began to resurface after hearing the change of plans in between each party. While normally she would be on edge, the area around her was dead. The air that it once held had dispelled, but nothing could get rid of the ominous darkness that seemed from within the soil. Looking out of the corner of her eye, Yasu easily kept pace with the new lieutenant and suddenly found themselves stopped just before a figure sitting idly, surrounded by fresh corpses. Upon further observance, the white haori stood out, clear and bright, despite sitting in the middle of a dingy, barren campsite.
It takes Yasu just a bit longer to offer her proper respects, purple irises roaming the male from his orange hair, down to the sandals that donned his feet. Like Arashi, she offered a bow and kept silent. Again, Yasu was the least knowledgeable of the situation between Fifth’s motives and now seeing the Captain of the Seventh Division sitting idly in his own chaos. She’d only offered her help where it was needed, but seeing the current situation, she felt as if her presence was no longer needed. Her silence was rather awkward, but she looked to Arashi and to Captain Itsuki for any confirmation on their events and whatever else would be necessary.
However, what response Captain Itsuki would stray from Yasu’s mind as the ground beneath their feet trembled away rather violently, but her expression stayed the same. Despite the violent whipping of the wind against her face and her hair flailing wildly about, the most movement that was elicited was a simple sneeze from the dust that tickled her nose. Upon it settling down, she scrunched her nose and rolled her shoulder back with an audible pop. Unfortunately, she was growing a bit restless waiting on the word from either one of them. After that explosion, Yasu felt as though their task may have yet to be fulfilled despite the ruination of the river. While her time was limited, Yasu would not lack in lending an assisting hand.
“Ne… Is that it? Do you need me for anything else?”
Not wanting to be rude in the least, the Second Division had completed their objective. Though unable to properly perform the tasks they would have been able to now that Kagewaki was confirmed dead, she would need to return back to the barracks and report everything she'd come across. Not only had they lost Kagewaki, but Sakiko had also fell from their graces, and they didn't have the time to search for her duringg this entire debacle. Overall, the only collateral piece they were able to gain was the half-dead Xiaolin. Hopefully, Kazumi and that member of Fifth had made it back to the Second before Captain Mukuro.
“I must go. May our paths cross once more."
Had the two come to a consensus, Yasu would take her leave, and rush back to her barracks to give her report. It was nothing good, other than managing to retrieve Xiaolin after nearly five months. Recalling their parting words before she left on this mission, what she had desired to speak to him about would have to be at a later date. She is unaware of the chaos that currently goes about within the Captain's Hall, let alone the sentence that Shobatsu bestows upon Kyomu. Though, the closer she would grow to the barracks, the more she began to doubt her decision to mention what she'd been plagued with since gaining her inner hollow -- no, probably the thought had seeded since before then.
Her selfish desires dared to come forth, and she pushed it down.
She could hear the egging on of her Inner Hollow, pushing her to the edge, but she was immovable...
But for how much longer?

The arrival had been just as strange as the original investigation. No protection, no guards, no preset traps or triggers. It was almost enough to make one wonder if this in itself was part of a set up. Despite the distance they had traveled, the lingering scent of decomposing bodies and the metallic smell of pooling blood only seemed to follow them, regardless of how deep into the confines they had managed to travel. It was rather nauseating, yet despite it all he pressed on along with the rest of his unit.
With his shikai activated, the man began scanning the surroundings at a rather unnatural pace, his eyes and his body to onlookers appearing as if his movements were being “fast forwarded” to an extent. The splattered blood that painted and stained the walls of the confines, along with corpses that had appeared to be freshly mutilated were the first signs that the party he had arrived with, had certainly not been the only one present. Yet, from the looks of things, the fresher corpses were not cloaked in the Shihakusho – these were not his allies that had been slain, but rather could appropriately be classified as potential allies to their adversaries who had been orchestrating this entire ordeal. Despite the inhumane scenery of eviscerated corpses and the blood soaked hardened soil beneath his feet, his disposition and visage remained unchanged, the same as it was upon his initial entrance. He was sure that the two Lieutenants had possibly picked up on these aspects as well, hence why in the next moments to come, their original directive would be changed by the lieutenant of his own division as precautionary methods that fell in line with the original purpose of the expedition were issued.
”Eizoku, Himari. There is a change of plans. Head towards the source of the blood river. Secure the area and make sure there's no one else here. For some reason, the Camp is empty, with no signs of life besides one spiritual presence. Me and Lieutenant Yugure will investigate. ” Hyōga Seiran, this Hado should suffice in the constriction of the source, keeping it secure and allowing for immediate destruction after. Make sure no trace of it is left when you are done. Your efforts and the task will be shielded by Himari and Eizoku, along with the five fifth division members brought by Himari herself."
His tone, absolute and authoritative, his eyes piercing and locked on to Eizoku. The man’s eyes, which normally remained closed, were opened once more. There was obvious concern, caution, and care, it could all be seen within the man’s eyes. Eyes were after all, the most honest form of communication. Yet, the “care” Eizoku had perceived, was certainly moresoe for the success of the mission, or perhaps the other comrades he seemed familiar with, he was rather positive that he didn’t fall in that category. Despite being in the same division he felt a bit out of place, he had known no one here. Yet, he felt an innate urge to draw closer to the beautiful mocha skinned lieutenant with the pink hair. Casting his observations aside, he would immediately take action, following his instructions without question or hesitation. A light nodding by the fourth seat of his division, her mismatched eyes despite acknowledging his presence, read something entirely different. Envy? Distrust? Fear? A mix of emotions ran through her, yet it wasn't any of the man's business. Perhaps this was the reason the new Lieutenant kept his eyes closed – simply nodding back as a sign of respect for her position before moving out immediately as a cohesive unit towards their destination...
Moment's after their arrival, the group of kido specialist would begin their assigned task, being a master of Kido, and familiar with the effects, typical duration, and overall force involved within the use of this spell Eizoku would direct his attention towards Himari before speaking towards her in a rather gentle yet monotonous deepened voice.
"You may want to brace yourself fourth seat, this certainly wont end with simply a cold gale..."
Immediately after relaying his message, the ground shaking explosion would occur as a result of the simultaneous jointed casting of the assigned spell, forcing out in such a magnitude that it would certainly be felt from many miles away, alarming and possibly even forcing some citizens in the nearby districts off of their feet – both young and old. The chilling mist cloaking the entire area of the district, leaving portions of ice upon garments upon even the casters themselves, the ground and plant life experiencing the same form of frost bite upon them. The garments of everyone present flailing wildly from the expelled force – or...almost everyone. As the icy mist began to clear, it revealed everyone rather disheveled, braced, and perhaps even shocked at the happenings – yet Eizoku had been there standing, unmoved – his garments, hair, and his composure all seemingly unaffected and unfazed by the blast. A build up of mist and ice seemingly lingering behind him, before fading away in entirety shortly after...as if the both the shockwave and spell had been slowed down and failed to even make contact with him. The reason quite simply being, his active Shikai, upon approaching the ten foot distance point from Eizoku, the shockwave and spell itself, despite the level of power and speed it possessed, had been brought nearly to a halt, the shockwave dispelling after loosing nearly all of it's momentum upon entering the vicinity of his shikai's ability's in an instant.
Ever alert and on his guard, Eizoku kept his eyes peeled and his senses tuned, in expectation of some form of adversity as a result of their actions. He couldn't help but feel as if everything was flowing far too smoothly and without a hitch, for a discovery of this magnitude to be present. As if even though they were accomplishing their assigned orders, that perhaps this was potentially playing right into what their enemies had planned or desired. Something was definitely off in this situation, however everything would come to the light in due time, even if it hadn't been with their particular unit.

Itsuki.png

Itsuki remained inactive as the High Priests suddenly invaded the campsite and began their hive-minded assault upon the exalted blood of the Soul King that pooled & clotted in the area like a festering wound. As he had noticed them, the Priests had noticed Itsuki and so the Captain was not concerned about being caught up in whatever machinations they had in play. Instead, Itsuki leaned back and watched, his legs swaying excitedly as suddenly the brutal scene he forged had become a Winter Wonderland. Atop his cargo box he rocked back and forth excitedly, though the trembling from his bloodlust had simmered… this amusement was more or less feigned, but still he acted the part of the clown rather than the killer.
226742e3a4ebd548415fdce824fcd067.png

“KAKAKAKAKA! WHAT IS THIS?! A CHRISTMAS SPECIAL?!”
Itsuki roared excitedly, leaning forward, his blood-stained face twisted with an exaggerated expression of awe… terrifying but wondrous awe. The Captain noticed two others aside from the High Priests in the area, and as they approached the perched ginger giant, his smile shifted into an expression of genuine befuddlement. Itsuki could easily deduce that the female in the pair was Yasu of the Second Division; albeit drastically different from what he recalled— though time had a funny way of changing others. However, the boy he wasn’t too sure of and so Itsuki feigned once more the fool & pouted impishly towards the two as Arashi spoke.
“Now, now. You know me, but I don’t know you. Ain’t that something strange?”
Itsuki’s smile quickly returned as he responded to Arashi’s make-shift introduction, his own deep southern drawl booming almost as loud as the High Priests' incantations. As the Priests assailed their own creation with thunderous fury the winds whipped and roared in a fevered frenzy, the Captain however seemed uninterested in the chaotic storm they conjured. Instead his attention remained squarely on Arashi and Yasu; watching their own inaction in response to the invocations and reading them as if their bodies & faces were books and he was an avid fan of their story. As the curtain closed on the scene of destruction Itsuki descended from his perch and now towered above the two Lieutenants, in the same moment Yasu paid her respects and made her own hasty retreat that Itsuki wouldn’t bother with interrupting, from her actions both spoken and unspoken he could tell she wasn’t invested enough in the task at hand and would rather her leave than become liability… but beyond that he wasn’t as suspicious of the Second Division member… Arashi on the other hand would find himself under… intense scrutiny.
“I wonder… is this enough to quell something so… unique?”
Itsuki wondered aloud, leaning in & hunching down so his face was now both level & uncomfortably close to the Lieutenant’s own. Gazing from beyond the lenses of the Captain’s glasses, Arashi would now see the disfigured & permanently bloodied eyes of Itsuki peering at him. The Captain wasn’t sure yet… was Arashi an ally or someone obstructing justice?
“What do you think?”
4e73e9accbbdca5522272c5e424588.png

Itsuki stopped smiling; his voice no longer cheery or robust… instead it sounded cold… almost mechanical. If Arashi wasn’t an ally Itsuki would need to “interview” him, and though his expression was rightfully chilling his presence remained… subdued. Not even bloodlust permeated beyond this veil of apathy.
“There were more of ya scurrying around outside, now wasn’t there, Lieutenant?”
Itsuki asked almost immediately after his first question, giving Arashi no time to answer. As he spoke he stroked his own bloodied features, his fingers sweeping away the blood of others that stained beneath his eyes like tears. Every action taken was deliberate; and whether his intention was clear to others, Itsuki was meaning to explore the psyche of the man before him. As he lapped up the blood that clung to his finger like some demonic bloodhound, he once again spoke.
“Gather yer flock, I don’t want nobody travelin’ too far from this nest right now.”
Itsuki gave the Lieutenant a direct order; and as he did, the Captain’s own eyes narrowed as his expression returned to an impish facade; his smile returning with gusto as he himself leaned back & granted Arashi the gift of personal space. Even if Arashi were the rat, Itsuki couldn’t be too brazen because of the High Priests. If they were defectors on the wrong payroll, then even Itsuki is unsure how the last scene will read. Though what concerned Itsuki above Arashi or the High Priests were the unknown reinforcements that lurked beyond his immediate influence; his hands tied, and every route riddled with eggshells… Itsuki couldn’t let his bloodlust blossom freely with these people. They were far more difficult to handle than peasant warriors with no military training and yet Itsuki wouldn’t have it any other way… the mysteries… the conspiracies… it was all so… EXCITING!
Itsuki could feel his own Denreishinki X vibrating against his abdomen, having it tucked into his red obi like a Kangaroo carrying their young. He quickly drew the device and glanced at the message he had just received…Why did they require assistance from the Seventh Division? Itsuki could see clear as day… it was spelled out as an incident in the Seireitei with an unauthorized use of Forbidden Kido. The Seventh Division’s authority wasn’t within the confines of the military capital… Itsuki swiftly typed out his response, his burrow furrowed in a pensive but amused expression
Code:
Why are you requesting the assistance of the Seventh Division
for an issue outside the scope of our authority?
Straight and to the point. Itsuki wasn’t sure if the Third Seat had mistakenly included the Seventh Division in the request, but the Captain also felt the inclination to prod… This was a third seat; he couldn’t imagine them making such an iconic blunder especially over a recorded channel such as text.
