Within his journey he learns the location, size, speed and trajectory of the threat. Without anyone attending to him, one could only dare wonder. Had the transmission even somehow reached his ears? With his abilities now halved, his scope of detection finds itself somewhat crippled, shrunken inside to match his loss of power.
The intensity of his visage neither increases or lightens. More information is received. The threat now finds itself lost in a hole, tunneling through. There is no natural hole within the Rukongai, Kyomu quickly understands the current outcome was birthed from the vain efforts of those within the Seireitei.
Where once his steps ensured his form remained invisible, imperceptible to all, now his greatest of efforts leave him as a blurred smudge in his passing to his peers. He arrives in time to see the titanic form of Captain Kagayaki, noting the passing of both Captain Kojima of Squad 9 and Third Seat Oda of Squad 5 as they move in swift pursuit. He lands on the southern Walls, and pauses, his lips move just beside Captain Kagayaki’s mountainous frame for a fleeting moment...and his form smears once again into an assortment of grays, blacks, whites, browns and blonde in the direction of both Captain Kojima and Tenzen Oda.
The words spoken to Captain Kagayaki lost to the ears of all others, yet they would no doubt strike a powerful chord within the aged man. Kyomu did not deceive himself, he knew that the Captain, former Lieutenant to the Commander as well as one of the man’s strongest of supporters was well aware of the incident within the First Division Barracks. There was a chance that he would not heed the words of the man portrayed villain, a Captain painted traitor. If so, then those silent words would serve only to incite the wrath of the titan, rather lead to the possible salvation of the Soul Society.
It was in truth a gamble, the second one Kyomu has taken today. For the sake of Soul Society he could only hope this one would pay off.
And so he moves, with no actual means to assist. Weakened or not his journey forward is meant to serve only as a marker, a way point. The man who had, for a few centuries lived as a phantom;silent, invisible, and imperceptible was, as of current not so. The specter moved not as a ghost, but as a man, meant to be seen, noticed and perceived.
The on-goings beneath the earth or lost to him, well beyond the scope of his own perception, still he fashions a guess or two regarding those events. The haze from the heat conjured by the flames of the dragon linger still above ground, Kyomu recalls Captain Kojima’s secret and labored training. Had he succeeded?
....No
It wasn’t possible for Maho to have mastered it, not in this span of time, and not with his feeble understanding. The man was a blunt object, in dire want of intellect. Still..he had perhaps made considerable strides during this desperate hour. The risks and dangers present forcing the man into a state where his body responded accordingly in a desperate attempt to evolve and surpass his limits.
All these things he ponders upon, he considers and assesses as he moves, the ground sundering with the passing of the beast. By now many of the residents of the Rukongai should have been retrieved and transported elsewhere, while the others should be dead and gone. Both Captain Kojima and Third Seat Oda should be underground. Good, this meant there shouldn’t be any witnesses present.
If Captain Kagayaki did not hesitate, if the man could shelve his prejudice and silence his doubts, fears and apprehensions then perhaps...they could bring an end to this matter. He recalls the vision of pink from atop the wall as he passed. His Lieutenant was indeed safe, but for how long? If they didn’t succeed not only her, but the rest of his squad would certainly be at great risk. They needed to survive, he had much to tell them.
The ground rumbles, though clearly not from the travels of the Kototsu alone. Kyomu, silently wills Yasu to keep her distance, while also willing Captain Kagayaki to come with the greatest of haste.

It did not take Arashi long to find himself beside Captain Kagayaki, having followed close behind. Surely Shizuka would be arriving as well, but when he did the three of the them would be face to face with total destruction.
Cataclysmic...
Apocalyptic...
The devastation...
Only a few words to describe the Kokotsu as it continues to rampage and even with the combined efforts of our finest, still, the creature seems still active and well over the capability of everyone here. However, this would not stop those who have taken action to continue work at putting a stop to the endless beast that is the Kokotsu. Though, the question arises. How do you stop something you can not touch with neither hand nor Zanpakuto. Not even kido will suffice in the effort to cease the forward path and might of the Kokotsu and not too mention that the creature is now buried beneath them, still traveling....
Arashi could feel the tremors. The imminent destruction approaching them.
The Rukongai turned to absolute ruins, nothing would be left at this rate, not even the Seireitei would survive and now as Arashi takes a look in Captain Kagayaki's direction even he seemed to be doubtful of the any ideas that would surface... Arashi knew one thing, the versatility of his Shikai could save a lot of lives. The Rukongai raised him to be the man he has become today so allowing those who have lived as he did and still are, he could not allow them to perish or dwindle to nothing but specs of what used to be... The cries of help. The injured. The many souls that needed to be saved and there are already those making efforts to do so, this included even the assassin, Lieutenant Yugure.
"Captain Kagayaki, I will assist those who are currently saving the innocent in the Rukongai."
A brief nod would follow this statement and to add, his Zanpakuto begins to literally break apart into specs of light numbering easily to the thousands or more! Captain Kagayaki and likely Shizuka would bare witness to Hoshizora coming to life. Each spec of light he controlled completely and with such masterful controll, Arashi did not hesitate to send each spec of light out into the ruins of the Rukongai and as each spec of light touched an inhabitant of the Rukongai the spec of light enlarged instantly, placing the individual into an orb made of light that would lift into the sky and away from the area.
Across a vast distance, his Shikai extends and for those who had gone out to save the lives of the people in the Rukongai, they would be able to see the giant orbs of light carrying individuals through the sky only to release them safely on the ground, outside of danger. Once done, the orbs returned to specs of light and at his command, continued to travel to find more who needed to be saved, repeating the same process. He looked towards Captain Kagayaki and Shizuka had he already shown up by now and took off into another Shunpo to further aid in the rescue of those who needed it.
Right now, Kokotsu continued to travel, but now far below tot he point where it is virtually unreachable. Even with this new issue, Captain Kojima and Tenzen Oda did not stop, they continued well beyond and aimed to send the creature into the air. Would this be enough or would it only cause more problems than what they needed right now. Arashi couldn't lose focus, he quickly placed himself with an area where he could easily stand with no worries of loose debris falling on top of him and the ground wasn't crumbling. His arms outstretched above his head and his eyes closed. The scale at which he is working at, is massive and surely he would reach his limits in not time. His body pulsated with a golden glow of reiatsu and his spiritual pressure could be felt over a vast majority of the Rukongai.

Location: Currently arriving at the Rukongai district from the 12th division quarters
Arriving at the Rukongai district Yamato saw the Kokotsu airborne he stopped for a moment to think on what to do. He was supposed to either aid in the evacuation of the Rukongai citizens or help get rid of the Kokotsu by driving it away. As he didn’t want to poison any of the citizens of Soul Society helping with the evacuation was a no go so that just left helping get rid of the Kokotsu. As he had researched this marvelous beast before he knew that physical attacks would be useless against it and anything that touched it would be sucked in and absorbed that left only energy-based attacks.
Activating his Shikai he whirled the hooked chains around and sent underneath the still airborne beast a black gaseous cloud. This cloud was made up of a unique type of poisonous energy that once absorbed would cause a paradoxical reaction, once this energy was absorbed any foreign energy absorbed afterwards would instead cause internal energy to be released in a greater amount then the absorbed energy slowly draining the beast of its energy. To ensure the Kokotsu didn’t drain itself dry Yamato made sure the poisonous energy would stop expelling energy after half of the beasts current internal energy had been lost.

Katsuo arrived and dashed past Arashi Suta a moment to check on his brother. Tenzen was fighting the Kokosue.. with some captains. Katsuo decided to let them do their thing, no sense in intruding when he barely knew kido.. poison the Reishi? He thought, if that thing ate it poisoning would make it sick, but with his abilities being Reiatsu based he'd only make it worse. He would nod believing in the captains and Lieutenants present, and run back to help Arashi Suta. The people of Southern Rukon knew Katsuo Oda. He had their trust, it would help Arashi all the more in getting them all to safety.
"Katsuo Toshyuki Oda finally here! Back up if you need it, if not, i'm going to help Arashi get the people out of there!"
Though, he highly doubted such strong beings needed help from the 5th seat of Squad 13. If they did, they'd let him know, no doubt. He'd dash like a rabbit towards Arashi Suta and slide in the dirt, a little bit pale at the destruction of half the town. He looked toward the hill where grave markers to his friends who named him were. They were still intact… south Rukon would probably have a lot more before the day was through. He watched some being carried by red specs of light he thought had to be Arashi. A little girl he knew because he ran by her and her family every day waved to him as she floated by.
"find my mommy Katsu!"
Katsuo nodded to her and leapt off in the direction she came from. Some people were stuck underneath broken houses, even animals. Now was a time more than ever to let Eikogitsune out. He could use Kitsuneho to break apart remaining houses and get people unstuck. Those who were capable.of running should head further North.
"Everyone head further North away from the fighting!
He'd say, some people are doing just that with some screams. He'd finally unsheathe both his Zanpakuto, and point the most active one toward the rubble people were stuck under.
“Reign Triumphant! Eikōgitsune!"
A blast of Reiatsu that felt like a tornado of swirling temperatures that fluctuated between hot and cold permeated the air around Katsuo, when the dust cleared, he swung the sword that burned hot backward then leapt toward the rubble.
"Kitsunehō!"
He'd say, placing his blades across one another he triggered a blast that targeted the rubble that trapped others in houses, Katsuo picked unconscious people from the rubble he removed from on top of them, and placed them on the ground behind him, where some people picked up their loved ones and started running further north with them. The little girl's mother had her leg stuck, but Katsuo got her out.
"Arashi drop that girl, her mother's alright, she'll take her further north!"
He'd yell back before the woman ran ahead and chased after her floating daughter.
"okay… anyone else stuck under buildings…"
Eikōgitsune rumbled in his mind, she was angry.
"Katsuo how are piles of rubble going to remember me?!"
He smirked at her comment.
"the rubble won't Eiko, but the people who you save from the rubble will. Trust me."
That shut her up, at least for a little while he could concentrate. He'd be smacked around in his inner world later, but now wasn't the best time. At least she gets to see some action, even if it's not quite the action she hoped for.

It was a shame, a shame that Nibui had decided to follow Maho’s plan so blindly. Perhaps it could have served a better purpose had he not intervened in an attempt to assist that Captain, maybe then there would have been an opportune situation to deal with the troubles at hand. In truth, there were countless, endless possibilities that each could have come true with the events that lead to this moment but this was of little importance to the small Lieutenant. In his eyes, he had sentenced Captain Maho’s plan to an abrupt end.
As his eyes witness this misfortune unfurl before him, the Kototsu plummeting into it’s new path, how would this end? Was the following destruction of the Rukongai and possibly the Seireitei his fault? Nibui was someone who was perhaps notorious for lacking any confidence in himself or his actions for the majority of the time. A large portion of his neglectful nature of his was internal. Thoughts and ideas that he had implanted himself, seeds that would grow into an almighty blockade, only further exaggerating the lack of confidence displayed by the Lieutenant.
However, In the face of his internal struggles, there was one thing he refused to do, despite what he thought of his actions and plans. He would not stand by idly and allow himself to fall to the wayside, as just another soul. If he was wrong as he anticipated the great majority of times, then he would deal with it then. Simultaneously succumbing to his depressive mentality while rebelling against it.
Watching as everything else continued, Maho and Tenzen both had leapt into action prior to himself, perhaps he had been too lost in his thoughts and self-doubt to act in a timely manner? More than likely it was the case. Still, he had to do something. Both Maho and Tenzen had relayed messages in their own way and both reached Nibui. He had to act along with the two of them. Regardless, they had both chased ahead, aiming to repair the situation that had only been worsened by his own efforts. He would not stand by and allow the rest of the Seireitei to bear his own share of the burden.
As displayed many times before, Nibui was not one who was keen with his sense in regards to Reiryoku, there were few that hard piqued his extremely limited sense and Maho had become one of those. Nibui wasn’t aware of exactly why but the Captain’s Reiryoku was raising but regardless, it became registered by the small Lieutenant and that in itself was a more than impressive display for Nibui, not mentioning his previous actions and following actions. Alongside his sensory picking up on Maho’s impressive Reiryoku, he had also taken note of a few more characters that had become present, through visual means at least. Despite the situation it brought a sense of joy Nibui, as mentioned prior, it was difficult to get Shinigami from every origin and division to function as one body, working for a single cause, but this seemed to be as close as one could get. Nibui hadn’t taken to moving too far, no he had other plans, he could assist from a distance, there was no point in exerting himself in order to catch up with either the Kototsu or his Shinigami allies. Stepping back toward Jubokko he would take but three steps, no, the third was a leap, placing him atop Jubokko, amidst the branches and leaves, his void-like orbs, watching and almost studying what the Captain and Tenzen had intended to do. Unknowingly he would soon bear witness to a rather selfless act by Captain Maho.
The bright marker that was Maho had vanished in an instant, only to soon be followed by an eruption of stone and scorching flame. Only momentarily, it seemed as though Maho was simply attempting to destroy the beast, at least until the beast became visible past the Reiryoku and Reiatsu of the 9th Captain. These efforts would not go in vain, If nothing else, Maho would serve as a beacon of hope for the rest of the Souls who could witness his actions. Shortly after, a second torrent of Reiryoku, in the form of a pillar of wind, however, it was nothing in comparison to the previous. Still, it’s aim was clear, again a Shinigami intended on assisting in Maho’s exact plan. Alongside the efforts at lifting and launching the creature from it’s tunnel, a dark cloud had formed and lingered beneath the beast. To Nibui, this was a foreign element that he had no idea of what exactly it was, there was no time to assess it completely.
The moment in which Maho had launched the beast into the skies above and was soon assisted by Tenzen, Nibui needed to act and properly. However, there was two problems that needed to be dealt with. At the apex of the Kototsu’s newfound height, there was not much Nibui could do to relieve the Seireitei of the problem but he could isolate it, building on the foundation created by the platform of earth that was utilized to launch the beast.
As if Jubokko was an omnipresent being from the moment it was brought into reality by Nibui’s Bankai, the roots that extended from the tree seemed to possess an almost impossible reach, plowing through the earth with great ease and a speed that perhaps matched Nibui’s own shunpo. By no means was he the fastest, but even in competition with Masters of the art of Hohō, he could keep up with their speed, or at least some of them. From the entire circumference of the hole that the Kototsu had been launched from, the roots of Jubokko would press through the earth, erupting countless tendrils that launched toward the beast in the skies as aiming to pierce the beast through. However, that was the furthest from the truth. The countless number of roots carried chunks of earth each of varying sizes and shapes. The largest roughly the size of a large home, the smallest the size of a small car perhaps. Much like the roots themselves, these shards of earth all varied heavily, yet their functions remained all the same. As opposed to having the roots assault the beast, they were intended to enclose the beast in an ever changing mass of rubble and earth. The roots never touching the beast, their job was simple. To hold the beast within the confines of the earthen cage that would be constructed for it. Replacing the pieces of earth and rubbled that would be destroyed with other pieces. From an outside perspective, the amalgamation of roots and rubble was presented as a monumental tree rooted into the hole created by Captain Maho. Where there would be leaves, instead there was a shifting, bulbous mass of rubbled that contained the creature within. A creation towering above any building in the Soul Society.
Beneath this tree, within the pit where Maho lay, a handful of different roots would have slinked their way down, coiling their lengths around the body of the seemingly unconscious Maho. The number of tendrils that enveloped the Captain seemed to grow until it became a sort of cocoon, a protective shell for the previously blazing Captain. With haste, this cocoon would be dragged through the earth, it’s contents untouched by the outside. The roots returning to their origin, Jubokko. As they arrived at their target location, the cocoon pierced through the earth before unraveling at the base of Jubokko, allowing the Captain his rest against the dark bark of the crimson leaved tree. From atop Jubokko Nibui watched what happened after his own actions and occasionally his sight would be directed down at the Captain, ensuring his well being.
