Molded to be an unfortunate task. Both tiring and quickly proving to take time before they even got started, before they even arrived… With all of their feet settling into the dirt at the headwaters of the river, his eyes only traversed the environment, opening to some to take in the serene and delicacy of nature itself. Beautiful, such a term becomes an understatement. The waterfall sparkled as it fell from a clear pond or lake above. Easily 20 meters in height… Indeed, this is truly unfortunate. To have to leave this area without any source of water for the people that may inhabit the farm in the future. Truly it will become a waste of space within Rukongai. Barren and forgotten.
He had his orders and from the looks of things, this can not be left untouched.
Insurmountable forces can be created from this. Far greater might than what the Seireitei has witnessed can present themselves in the near future. Seemingly up to him, but this is a job too great for just one shinigami. All hands needed to be on deck, to insure the success of this task and wipe this area clean of the Soul King’s blood. As a coming revelation, his head turned, with eyes now visible upon one of the men that stood behind him even now, patiently awaiting the order.
”Travel back to the farm. Let Himari Shimi know that she and her men are needed here. Quickly.”
Without reluctance and without hesitation, one of the men disappears completely. The act of Shunpo is apparent as he travels at such a high pace, but even as fast as he moved, it would take a few minutes for him to arrive. Upon his arrival which is swift as the element of wind has trouble catching up to his person in midst of his feet settling into the ground near her position. He relays the order, without hesitation.
”Himari Shimi, you and your men are needed to assist Lieutenant Arashi.”
He’d await them to assemble before leading them to the sight to begin the operation. Knowing that it would be a few minutes before they all arrived, this allowed Arashi a chance to examine further. His own shunpo taking him to the top of the waterfall with minimal effort, a casual step. His eyes returned to their naturally closed position. Once a pond has grown to be a small lake, or at least its depth will allow it to be considered as much. Even light wouldn't reach the bottom of this body of water, even though it is clear that it is being drained by the waterfall, flowing straight into the river. The main source where even its waters are also blood red.
He sighed, heavily
The amount of time it will take to get this done, it will surely be a while. Draining at the very least. For now, they will have to stop the source from feeding further into the river. He turned around, looking down towards the three remaining members from Head Quarters. Before he finally speaks, he waits for the arrival of HImari and her men

“Someone so young shouldn’t be looking so troubled.”
Head slowly lifting from the physical torture she was inflicting upon herself, Yasu Yūgure came to face an elderly man emerging from the bushes like a creep. He looked disheveled, from the hat down to his feet. As he closes the distance between them, her hands sink from her hair and into a position where she leaned forward, her elbows casually resting against her knees.
“You don’t look familiar, could it be you’ve gotten yourself lost? Is that why you appear so vexed? Well..CHEER UP! HAHAHA!!”
His laughter was soothing, and Yasu managed an exasperated sigh.
“Gomene. I’m not lost. This just so happened to be where my sister lives, and I was bringing her a gift, but lost it on my way here.”
Digging the soles of her sandals into the dirt, she tilted her head back and looked up at the blue sky where clouds dotted their existence here and there. She casually looked around, disappointment painted on her face. Not as if she was lying, the subject of her endeavors out here in the Rukongai was lost to her. Bringing her gaze up to the elder man, she offered a sheepish grin, clearly embarrassed at her stupidity.
“It was a really nice gift. She’s worked so hard, I’d come bearing a gift fit for a king…” Her voice drops an octave, even lowering into a whisper as she holds this faraway look. “She deserves it.”
Fiddling with her fingers, Yasu’s eyes drifted back down to them, this new habit getting the best of her. These antics weren’t befitting of herself, but she didn’t understand herself now. Her identity was as much of a mystery to this stranger as it was to herself.
“Sorry. I’m sure you don’t want to know my entire story. I’m sure she’ll forgive me. I don’t see her as often because of work.” Her tone was kind, almost too carefree as the lies she spoke rolled off of her tongue so naturally.

Straying only so far that Sakiko's reiatsu was somewhat faint to her but still present; Kazumi found herself on a strange street. As she had wandered the lone alley her she allowed herself to slump against the wall and run her hands along them as if angry or bored. This only helped to make her appear more dusty and dirty. Though the clothes were indeed ripped and simply rags to them, they were still fairly decent in comparison to some. They were also extremely clean, making her disguise obvious to anyone who paid attention.
Once she had exited the alley she blended in even better with those around her. More confident in her disguise she pulsed out her reiatsu toward Sakiko. She wanted her to feel nothing more than a quick and small pulse of Kazumi's reiatsu, confirming she was in her position and okay.
Her position established she peered around her as if in confusion. Perhaps she was lost, perhaps she was looking or waiting for someone. To a normal soul in the area, her actions would cause no disturbance. Anyone suspicious of her was worth her own investigating.
Soon finding herself surrounded by a group of children, she was nothing but smiles on the outside. Internally she felt each motion they made, each grabbing hand and whether or not it was trying to grasp for something. Regardless, they would find nothing. Bound to her midsection by wires, the only weapon she dared to bring with her while undercover. Arms crossed before her, blocking any access, she smiled to the children and let them run about her and do as they pleased; though she remained mindful of any that neared too close.
Allowing the grabbing hands to search wherever they pleased except for the place right below her chest. Sharp points touching her skin lightly. Eyes barely open, her eyes carefully observed the children for any that seemed particularly insistent. One that didn't seem to be searching for money.
All the while she could feel Sakiko, waiting for any sign from her while her limited concentration was only able to give her a picture of those currently in close proximity to her and nothing more. Nobody near her seemed to be hiding anything sinister. [color-blue]I need to get away from them.[/color] The children were requiring too much focus, causing her to be unable to focus on more of her surrounding area. With a flourish she spun around in a quick circle, spreading the last of her candy to the children ad slipping away as they all reached in to grab one.
Laughing but making her escape from them quickly, it appeared nothing out of the normal once more. She supposed she could only realize it now, however, but she had become quite the great actor in her own mind. Feigning any type of emotion came naturally to her, something painfully drilled in to her mind in her living life.
But still....
Where would they be?
Focus..look... Holding a blink a few seconds longer...She opened her eyes and looked around her. truly looked. A suspicious looking man at a near-by bar of sorts. He appeared to be waiting for someone and not wanting his face to be seen. This of course, could be something well outside of her scope of attention, however she took note of his location as she continued to slowly meander down the dirt path.

Himari was pleased with her squad of men. They had found a few artifacts in the area that had small amounts of spiritual pressure. Nothing like what Arashi probably was tackling with the river, but it made Himari feel good that she was able to be of some help and actually find things that were included in the task at hand. It filled her with a little confidence.
”Make sure you place them in their right bags, we don’t want any mix ups,” She orders the men and they nod. This was still so weird to her, and it was going to take her some time to get used to this.
As she was about to walk closer to the edge of the farm, one of the men from Arashi’s squad came back but without him. It caused her to raise an eyebrow but before she could ask what was wrong, he spoke.
”Himari Shimi, you and your men are need to assist Lieutenant Arashi.”
She narrowed her eyes in though. The lieutenant was confident when he had left. She herself felt that maybe he could handle the river on his own with his squad. But the needing of her meant that the task was far more greater than even he had thought.
”Men, we are needed by the Lieutenant. Gather what you have gotten and let’s go.”
She watched as they quickly gathered their things and she nodded to the man so he could lead them. They all used Shunpo as fast as light to cross through the town. As the arrived, Himari took the chance to look at the task before them.
The river was massive. She knew it was going to be big, but she didn’t think it would be like this. And it was so calm around here, peaceful. Who would have known something as peaceful as this could be powerful enough to cause harm to everything they knew?
She would slowly walk over to the Lieutenant, her arms crossed over her chest. He seemed to be deep in thought so she cleared her throat.
”Lieutenant, you called?”
She would ask this as she herself would still be taking in the surroundings.

From his position, his examinations had limitations. No need to advance just yet. Still he awaits the arrival of the rest of the group. In the meantime, he raises his hand in the action to call the remaining three members to his position. No slower than him, they gather next to him at the top of the waterfall.
”Let's begin... create a perimeter, seal off the area with a barrier. Things will get loud and destructive, we don't need to cause unnecessary damage to the Rukongai. We need every inch of power to remain concentrated and collected into one area..”
The order given, the men make their move gathering at separated points around the perimeter of the lake. Just like that, they have established their positions. One stands at the North side of the river. Another at the East, and as the third takes position to the West of the river. Their positions far apart, and out of sight of one another, still, their hands move in unison. Their reiryoku channeled to masterful levels. Immediately a barrier is formed…
130

A transparent barrier standing taller than the trees of the forest, able to be seen from a far even from such a great distance. Easily covering the lake, shielding the Rukongai from extraordinary powers that will be released within the area. Once the barrier is formed, the three Kido Corp members begin reciting an inaudible incantation to strengthen the barrier further, increase its integrity and greatly improve its durability, both inside and out. Will such a barrier be enough for the power of four members from the Headquarters of the Kido Corps and a Lieutenant?
A question that will soon be answered, alas, the arrival of Himari and her men. Arashi leaps from his position atop the waterfall, landing with casualty. The fourth member of the Kido Corps approaches him and with a nod from Arashi, he knew well of the task. Feeling the spiritual pressure of his brethren and also noticing the barrier having already been created. He moves to assist, using a shunpo to occupy the South side position and lend his own spiritual energy in strengthening the barrier even further.
Himari approaches, with her men close behind her. She seemed rather ready to get started, impatient almost...
”Lieutenant, you called?”
”Indeed I did and you have noticed the severity of this situation. All hands are needed. However, I need to ask. What is your Zanpakuto capable of doing once released?”

Maybe his Shikai and her own can aid in destroying the river and erasing the Soul King’s Blood. He wished he would’ve asked before departure on this mission, it would have saved them a great deal of time… However, he hoped that her Shikai had some ability that can lay waste to the river, much like his own.
