”Wait. We will assess the situation properly after everything is settled. And..if in the end it's determined that there is no merit in letting them live. Then, you can kill it.”
”Understood, Captain."

Ochitsuki speaks in his dull monotone when answering the Captain, this wasn’t done out of spite, it was just his neutral tone of voice. As they continued on he began to speak with Hitsugaya about something Ochitsuki didn’t even notice.
”Inside the Nest of Maggots no weapons are allowed..including Zanpakuto regardless of their form. Your zanpakuto may be stuck in its released state, and may not take the form of a conventional weapon...but none of that matters. Should you, wielding a zanpakuto become compromised in the Nest then you become that much more of a liability. If you’re entering the Nest, seal it. If you claim your zanpakuto can not be sealed, remove them. If you wish to claim that you cannot even accomplish that measly task, dive into the deepest parts of your soul and demand the knowledge on how to remove those gauntlets or remain outside the Nest..”
Shinotori had his Zanpakuto with him the entire time? Deceptive for it to be a pair of gauntlets, though Ochitsuki understood completely why the Captain was upset. If someone got the upperhand on him and killed him the Shikai would revert back to it’s sealed state, a blade. If anyone one of these Maggot’s got their hands on a weapon like that it could spell trouble. Ochitsuki remained silent as the Captain continued to reprimand Hitsugaya.
”This will be the last time you enter the Nest without being able to remove your gauntlets...your, zanpakuto. If you can’t remove it yourself I’ll simply cut off your arms so you can leave them behind. Maybe in your time without them you might uncover some little trick to free yourself from your shikai.”
After this the Captain looks towards him and Oyama to which Ochitsuki nodded to show that he understood. To be fair Ochitsuki did suspect something from the man considering what he said to him two weeks ago about the hatch on the floor. He warned Shinotori about the protocol of leaving his Zanpakuto with the guards, he told him this and he still disobeyed him. Ochitsuki stood in utter silence, his rage fulminating in this very moment. He was just needlessly reprimanded by the Captain because of something he previously warned Shinotori about. Yes, Captain Mukuro did not vocally reprimand him as he did to the Hitsugaya but it was all the same to the Fourth Seat.
”We’re leaving.”
Kyomu headed onward with Ochitsuki no longer following, lost and consumed by his rage he stood motionless with his mouth ajar, seemingly staring towards the ceiling.
”I’m heading out now, remember your orders. Himari...don’t forget my words. Shinotori...hurry up if you’re coming.”
With that everyone began making their way out of the nest leaving Ochitsuki alone, in that same spot. A guard approaches him, cautiously, and speaks.
”F..Fourth Seat Oda… Are… Are you okay?”
He was right to ask this because Ochitsuki’s eyes were rolled back, the visage of anger painted on his face with his pure white, vein ridden sclera visible. Hearing the guard ask the question he snaps out of his anger-like trance and looks at him, brushing past the man and making his way for the door, where he turns and sits down with his back to it. Unlike last time there will be no prison break, if a single maggot tries to fly he will squash them before they have a chance to spread their wings. Shinotori had better find death in the Kenpachi games because if he doesn’t he will find it at the hands of Ochitsuki when or if he returns.

Shinotori Hitsugaya
b35df29f58c27c96f012aa7238fc3970.png

Following the group quietly without speaking a word, the young man only managed to get so far before the captain would notice that he was still wearing his zanpakuto around his arms. His superior turned and approached him looking directly at him making eye contact. Towering over the young Hitsugaya gazing at him as if he was staring into the depths of his soul, Shinotori stood still with both arms at his sides. By the way the captain was looking, it was obvious that something was wrong.
”Did you think I wouldn’t say anything? That you were somehow exempt from the rules?”

With that being said Shinotori, understood why the captain was so strict about weapons being in the Maggots Nest. This place was filled with all sorts of powerful criminals that threatened the lives that resided within the soul society. Shinotori was unprepared for the captain's lecture; had he’d had the ability to show emotions one could easily tell that the young man was slightly intimidated. It was a relief that the captain had chosen to use his words to discipline the young Hitsugaya. Most would say the young man got off easily. Nodding his head showing that he understood the captain's words to prevent provoking the captain's hand, the young Hitsugaya was aware that his facial expression had no change so he was concerned that it may trigger a negative reaction from Captain Mukuro.
“Understood”
Processing the captains word he made sure to head his warning to avoid the Maggots Nest until he discovered how to part with his Zanpakuto. Shino was relieved that he only received a verbal warning. Captain Mukuro turned his attention to the others to announce his leave then signaling the young Hitsugaya to follow him. Shadowing his superior by the usage of shunpo he'd follow him to their destination despite not being to see him, he was already aware of the location they both headed so it may it easier to follow him without getting left behind. Deep down the Hitsugaya was more than excited to participate in the tournament held by the ninth division, it was only a matter of time before he got to test and prove himself against other member of the Gotei 13; make name for himself among his comrades.

It was a relief that Himari had taken the offer to use the blunt katana, but at the same time Oyama and Furia were disappointed but for different reasons. Oyama for the fact that Himari didn’t make a move after both turned around, while Furia was mad that she wasn’t going to be able to use the blood panda against her.
“I see you didn’t make you didn’t make you didn’t make a move for an attack. I’ll assume you prefer a defensive style battle, Oyama is certainly disappointed that her turn was so quickly taken away. Ahh well more fun for me!”
Like before her eyes began to shift from blue to red, yet this time they seemed to stay red. Same with her reiatsu signature changing, it was different for sure, but how different was it? The twin personalities had become so adept at switching control that it was as easy as flipping a switch. Most would not be able to tell, except for some seated officers and those who actually paid attention.
In a swift motion Furia’s hand reached towards the anken dirks, two once more at Himari, but this time the blades were thrown a lot harder and faster, and it didn’t take long for each blade to fly and aim to pierce into Himari’s shoulders. In the same instance she had already lowered herself down and shot forward almost matching the speed of the anken dirks, yet intentionally lagging behind. Once she was close enough her blade had swung at Himari’s waist with enough force to heavily bruise the side of her waist entirely.
“Had that been the Blood Panda that would have gone clean through her… You’re putting too much power into your strikes.”
“You gave the option to go all out, just watch for any shifts in her reiryoku!”

As she stood there, she watched the girl with a bored expression. But on the inside she was a little uneasy. This was a practice spar, sure. But the last one ended with her arms being cut off and sent to the 4th Division. That was enough to put anyone on edge. Even with the wooden katanas, she felt uneasy. She almost wished Fudō Myōō was still in her hands. Almost.
At least she could have relied on him to give her distance. Now, she had to focus on her very own skill to do that.
“I see you didn’t makea move for an attack. I’ll assume you prefer a defensive style battle, Oyama is certainly disappointed that her turn was so quickly taken away. Ahh well more fun for me!”
Himari raised an eyebrow at the chance of voices. It was strange, and she didn’t know if she wanted to really face whatever crazy was behind it. It seemed everyone in the second division had some weird tic other than herself. She didn’t know if that was a good or bad thing.
She watched as the blue haired girl's eyes changed color again, like before. But this time, the red hue had taken over. That had to mean the other ‘side’ of Oyama was taking over now. And she seriously didn’t understand why the Captain wanted her to spar with someone like this. A side like this. A side that was unhinged. It seemed that’s the only people she has been able to train with. And she was sick of it.
Himari watched as Oyama, or better yet the other deity that took over Oyama, reached towards the inside of her uninforn with one swift, furtive movement. Himari quickly was on edge. The only reason why Oyama would go to grab anything else would be to throw something at her. Just as she had when she entered the training room. Using Shunpo, she allowed herself to quickly move to the side, completely getting out of the way of whatever she was to throw at her.
That was answered as the blurred view of an Anken dirk in her preferal vision headed right where she was a few moments ago.
She had to figure out a way to attack. Moving with a sword just wasn’t her strong suit. Kido was. And the last time she relied on Kido, it didn’t end well. She had to move forward with the Katana. Even if it made her look stupid.
She would quickly move, using Shunpo. It was the only thing she could think of. It was going to be a move that would allow Himari to move quickly and silently enough behind Oyama. Having a Zanpakuto like Fudō Myōō required her to learn how to move quickly with Shunpo. Quickly but also quietly. Her movements made no sound. And her movements were so fast that it would be very difficult to see if you weren’t paying very close attention.
Himari’s entire form disappeared from Oyama’s eyes soundlessly, almost at the same time quick jabs from a wooden Katana would strike at her so quickly from behind that, by the time Oyama comprehended that Himari was behind her she would be hard pressed to avoid the multitude of attacks inches from striking her repeatedly. Each blow hitting every pressure point on the girl's back to deal maximum damage while also incapacitating her. Himari knew these pressure points almost intimately thanks to the constant rigorous training with Yogen. It seemed the training would pay off in the end.

Furia’s eyes shifted in the direction of the first shunpo. A good move for sure, but there was a pattern emerging in Himari’s movements in which both personalities took notice of, and more than likely she was relying on shunpo to dodge even a simple throw of her Anken Dirks, this had caused Oyama’s personality to completely lock onto Himari’s reiryoku and reiatsu signature. Furia’s reiryoku began to gather in her legs, in the moment Himari’s second shunpo happened Furia had used shunpo as well, in which Himari’s quick and repetitive Jabs would go further than she anticipated.
The silent disappearance had been a wonderful performance but she had been under the impression that such a thing could catch either of the personalities off guard as she was well within the scope of being tracked by either personality. Both personalities wondered if she would do the same with tracking, but thanks to her attack Himari had left little room for maneuvering. Furia had appeared in that same instance as Himari did but to the left side of her shoulder. her fist clenched except for index and middle finger that had extended to Himari’s shoulder; in the same second she had appeared a burst if reiryoku blew out from her finger tips creating a bright flash of light around them, then the kinetic force came out, blowing Himari to the left, and forcing her to tumble across the ground.
Furia wasn’t done with just one attack as Himari was tumbling she had appeared above Himari moving with her as she tumbled with just a few inches apart from one another. Her hand had moved towards Himari’s neck grabbing onto with enough force to close her airway off and a grip that would be difficult to break free from; once she had that grip Furia would spin herself and Himari, dazing and confusing the woman. before slamming Himari back into the ground. Her hand had still held onto the womans neck, squeezing and pressing the air out from her, while the blade of her blunt Katana had pointed directly at the Red eye of Himaris. Furia had grinded her teeth, as the look of annoyance could be seen plastered across her face.
“You could have easily dodged the throws without the use of shunpo, and the blade that was going to swing at you could have been, blocked parried or avoided by a step back. You’re using shunpo and tatics to make up for your lack of Zanjutsu are you? You’re developing a pattern, a pattern that is becoming far to predictable, you need to work your defensive and offensive capabilities, Not just evasion and counter. Luckily we were told to hone in our Hakuda and Zanjutsu this will allow you to expand your horizons, you may even be able to combind your kido in the future. It shouldn’t be too hard for you. You’re a master in that field are you not?”
Furia’s eyes and reiatsu began to shift once more, changing from the red hue back to blue, while her reiatsu appeared to have calmed down a bit. The look of annoyance disappeared as her hand loosened and lifted off of Himari’s neck before walking away, only turning around once she was about a few paces away.
“Other than honing my own skills I’m going under the assumption I was chosen to help you fight against two different styles of fighting, I’ll let you figure out which one is which when I switch with my other half. I also have to apologize for Furia’s comment on your lost limbs, Katsuo never told a soul but we’ve been keeping an eye on him for a while, and reports of his actions comes here, through me and to the captain if need be. ”
A partial truth, they did keep an eye on Lieutenant Katsuo Toshiyuki for a while but they had also kept an eye on each division through their messengers and spies. They were well informed of the happenings in the Seireitei, as second division had a duty to deliver messages across the seireitei but also reign in any treasonous people, after all they were guards to a secret prison.
“Humor me a little Himari, fight me with Hakuda for a little bit. Then we can go back to our respective Zanpakutō; it appears you feel uncomfortable with these Blunt Katanas. Tell me if I’m wrong. ”
Too say that she was being careless was far from the truth, It was Furia’s turn to watch the movements and actions of her opponent. Normally a soul in the same level of sensing could do the same as Oyama or Furia, but the advantage of the Oyama’s Namanari (生成 "Half-Demon") as the twin personalities became adept at tracking, one always on the look out for any sudden changes or movements, allowing both to give one hundred percent of their attention to both movement and tracking without straining themselves.
While she was done speaking, she would stab the blade into the flooring of the room, with both hands moving up to a defensive stance, her right arm extended outward while her left stayed back, her foot began to widen allowing her to have a more stable stance.
