Among the Carnage of Karakura town, yet another Senkaimon opened. This one contained Katsuo Oda, Lieutenant of Division thirteen. The group looked around, before the wailing cries of the Menos hit their ears, which made them cover them. Katsuo of course had his headphones up, so the noise was greatly reduced for himself. Upon entering Karakura, he closed his eyes and began sensing the energies in the area; several menos, just as Oyama reported, but there were other, stronger signatures hidden within as well; one a little too close for comfort with the signature he felt had to have been Furia. He blinked and opened his eyes; looking back at his squad.
"Fan out, destroy as many of the hollows you can until back up arrives… alright?"
The group nodded, and spread. Katsuo stood and thought as quickly as he could, what to message back to the soul society before he is found out. The dark haired girl stayed behind and looked up at him, he looked back at her.
"Find Oyama… but don't engage in combat if she's too close to the enemy. I'll be there soon."
The girl nodded, and she too was off. Katsuo looked down at his Soul phone, and made the first high alert to divisions one, four, and eleven, while he still had time.
Quote:Red Alert; Karakura town in imminent danger of destruction, Division 13 in dire need of assistance, several Menos class AND higher level Hollows in the area… possibly Arrancar. 5th division still hasn't made it to Karakura to clean up the blood, it's everywhere. Several civilian and shinigami casualties in need of medical care. 13th lacks the numbers to control this alone… permission to break seals.
This was bad… especially since just four days prior, the Creature from hell attacked and left the town in shambles. Still, Katsuo would send out this alert post haste and make a move for Urahara's shop's direction; if only to try and save his third seat.

"She needs to learn how to f#%king talk to people!! Scaredy cat running out into a fight she doesn't wanna have! THAT AIN’T BRAVERY DUMBASS!!! IT’S STUPIDITY!!”
Blume may have been residing in the shadows, but she had yet to actually leave the earthen realm. It wasn’t as if she’d just proclaimed to just hide away from chaos… Especially with her boisterous right-hand man storming out in a frenzy. While she appreciated his gung-ho attitude -- though it was really directed at her -- he had essentially made himself a target to the beasts that streamed the horizons. In his pursuit of her, Dominic had launched himself into the air, screaming at the top of his lungs…
With luck, she had managed to get him out of his rut, all while being insulted.
Screams echoed throughout the city as one by one the members of the Edelsteinzug (宝石隊, "Gem Squad" lit. Jewel Platoon) became eradicated by the Menos. However, each of the thirty soldiers had given their lives in the fight. Of these twenty-six beasts left, only eleven now remained as these nameless individuals performed a hail mary, the gems that one decorated their capes turned obsidian for a moment before shattering. Left behind is an iridescent glow that soon melts, revealing a particular symbol carved into the iron casing. Of these thirty individuals, their bodies would’ve fallen before the eradication from the remaining ceros that fired their way. The heavenly, golden glow that surrounded their bodies disperses as a shadow crosses over their corpses, or what was left of them.
“Your souls will never waste away...”
Dominic was all that was left of her subjects in-action. She wasn’t sure of just how much he’d recovered in the time he had since regaining full consciousness. From beneath him, three walls of darkness surrounded his body as they had all taken the force of the cero. Rather than simply be destroyed as if it were a meager being that held substance, the three ceros would come into contact with the obsidian walls and disappear into them as if they had never existed to harm their target in the first place.
Where would they go?
Reinforcements had come from all sides to take out the remaining eleven within that area, as well as those four that happened to stray only a few miles shy of their current position. Blume had sprouted from the shadows, coming face Dominic under the protection of the shadows. Maybe he would continue yelling at her, but even with the intent of having hired him for her protection, she was to provide him her own form as well. Whether it was done out of obligation or fear, Blume knew that she would be unable to take another loss of someone that was in her care. Frederick had yet to pledge his loyalty to her, but he was still a valued friend. As a Quincy, there had always been the question of reincarnation, or if it was even possible to go to the Soul Society once they’d passed. Whatever the case was, Blume had honestly doubted that they would go anywhere past this life, so she would do her best to keep her subordinates alive.
The girl was aware that while she was plenty strong, her inexperience was heavily weighing down on her. Her predictions had come true, as disaster after disaster kept reigning over the World of the Living. The Shinigami would prove to be useless in saving what was a part of their line of work. If she could save anyone, it would be her own people. Had they felt any remorse from their lack of performance, it would be their own undoing when it came to restoring the balance between souls.
“You’re angry with me, but we need to go. You and I are not ready for another tragedy.”
Blume is quick to get straight to the point, and perhaps she should have discussed this with him in private, but had she not defended from the Menos Grande, there would have been a likely chance that they would have been devastated much more quickly if they were unprepared. Since commanding her squadron to defend, Blume had disappeared back into the manor to order all individuals under her supervision to gather anything that was deemed necessary, from the Blood of the Soul King down to the weaponry and jewels from the Forge. Elders were the first to be escorted into the realm of Silbern, and everyone else would follow shortly. The manor had turned into an abandoned space in less than a minute, save for the brave souls that swore to defend it, even though it meant the end of their lives. With their blindingly-blue embellishments attached to their coats, they stood post, waiting for any other attack to defend against.
“The Shinigami and Arrancar will get their payment in due time. If you wish to stay and fight, then go. If not--” Blume stretches her hand out to him, her cerulean orbs filled with hope that he would take her hand. “Come with me, and stay by my side. We will return when it is safe.”
Dominic was free to make a choice. If he were to go, then Blume would recede into the depths of the shadows alone. If he were to stay, the Shinigami would have their bouts with the Arrancar and destroy everything in their wake without hesitance. Though, Blume would wonder what exactly would be their reaction when it came to discovering what had happened right in their own turf.

Did he truly think it was going to be that easy? It is true that Arrancar possess human features, but it would seem that they lacked human wisdom. Perhaps in the vacant desert of Hueco Mundo one might easily stroll into the territory of another, without fear of reprimand. However, this is not some abandoned cave or empty forest, this is the residence of one of the greatest Shinigami to ever live. It may be that infiltrating the barrier was difficult enough for Abraam, that he thought it would be the only defense. Little did the Arrancar know that the precautions taken to protect this place, with layers upon layers of contingencies, would render the little shop as difficult to infiltrate as the Seireitei itself.
Upon entering the barrier, Abraam would see that the lot of land which the shop sat upon had been completely overgrown with grass and weeds, with the shop itself looking utterly abandoned. Regardless, Abraam’s barrier erects itself around the unkempt plot, and seems to protect him from the outside world as he begins to stroll to the front door. However, the moment that Abraam's foot lays upon the grass of the yard, a shearing pain would be sent up his body. He would find that each blade of grass had sharpened itself in response to his presence, standing stiffly on end, a thousand little blades. While it is true that Abraam was staying alert for any exterior threats, it would appear that this caution did not apply to the ground that he tread upon, as he intended to walk with reckless abandon right up to the front door. It is also true that the Arrancar is suppressing his presence, and yet not completely. This means that it is unclear if the literal blades of grass activated upon the minute traces of his reiatsu, or upon the physical contact of his footfall. Thus, even if Abraam suddenly decided to inspect the ground, he would find nothing amiss until after his foot landed.
Regardless, the Arrancar’s foot would be pierced. With this came a tingling sensation, that would fill his entire body, not unlike the feeling of electrocution. It is likely that upon feeling the pain of his foot being pierced, Abraam’s instinct would be to recoil from the pain’s source. However, Abraam would find that his body cannot respond to his basic instincts, in fact, it cannot move at all. The sensation he is feeling is that of paralysis. Rendered nothing but a garden decoration, it is also likely that the Arrancar would attempt to free himself using a spiritual technique of some kind, perhaps a unique ability granted by his aspect of death. However, just as with his body, Abraam’s spirit was also restrained. The tingling sensation did not merely restrict his physical movements, but the flow of his spiritual energy. His carelessness had rendered him nothing but a sitting duck, standing frozen with his hands in his pockets. The barrier he erected would still protect him from the threats outside, but what of the ones inside?
Boom.
The front sliding doors explode off their hinges, sending sharpened fragments flying directly at Abraam with tremendous force. The dust kicked up by the door’s destruction obscurs the entryway, and trails into the sky. Abraam, paralyzed, would not be able to look up above him, and so would not see the threat that now descends upon him. Instead, he would be met with a torrent of downward force, its source still unseen. An instantaneous blow would connect with the top of the Arrancar’s head, striking with such power that it would easily ripple through him, shattering every bone along the way, as his body collapses in on itself, until finally the ground beneath him would explode. The grass which binds the Arrancar would turn into a crater ten feet in diameter, dirt and chunks of earth flying into the air, splattering against the Arrancar and the barrier behind him.
Should the Arrancar survive such an unexpected, instantaneous, and devastating assault, his senses would permit him now to follow the movement of the assailant, after the impact of the initial blow. What he would sense is that of a large pool of reiryoku, however, where other souls were given a flow of reiryoku, this soul was completely composed of it. Some sort of creature had descended from the air, and now kicks off of a Reishi platform, shattering it upon impact. This thing was clearly not a Hollow, nor was it a Human or Shinigami. Indeed, throughout Abraam’s entire existence, he likely never would have encountered a monster such as this. A monster which now lands before the entryway twenty feet ahead of the Arrancar. Ten feet tall, it stands prepared to deliver another strike, and perhaps most concerning of all, it opens its mouth to address Abraam directly.
“We’re closed, punk.”

Leaping through the air and shouting at the top of his lungs was nothing short of a cathartic release for his inner turmoil. Though by doing this he paints himself as a target on the battlefield, it isn’t like he wasn’t ready for an encounter considering how wound up he is feeling, and punching something could be just what the doctor ordered. He looks around at the Menos Whales ravaging Karakura Town and he feels sorry for the people who may lose their lives and homes but he has no deep connection to this place, he is but a visitor. He was merely staying in Karakura as he ventured on his Martial Arts journey, prepping for the next fight. Was it by chance, destiny, or some other grand design that had him land in Karakura where he would end up meeting other Quincy and spiritual entities? Dominic doesn’t even think about this especially right now as his main goal is to find Blume and yell at her.
”Stupid ass whales, stirring up shit and making all this DAMN NOISE!!!”
The shouting continues as he vents his frustrations, this venting would lead to him being attacked by the very Menos he curses, three of them to be exact. Three Cero hurdle in his direction, he puts on the brakes, halting himself mid-air on Reishi platforms and taking a typical karate stance. He is ready for the coming assault, what will he do to counter these blasts of spiritual energy with martial arts? Well, that question will remain unanswered as once again, for the second time, he is saved by Blume. Walls of darkness rise from below him absorbing the Cero into them, their destination is unknown to him. Finally she reveals herself to him.
“You’re angry with me, but we need to go. You and I are not ready for another tragedy.”
”Yikes, so this is what an Empress looks like? Hiding and lurking around in the shadows while her soldiers die to protect a castle she’s not even in? You really think the death of Fred weighs more than the lives of the other folk dying back there? Oh, I get it, they don’t got families, they don’t have kids, wives, husbands, they all just live and die in the service of the great Blume Diamante!! All hail the Empress of Quincy who values the lives of those who can be useful to her!”

There isn’t a smirk on his face, there is anger there but it is hovering below the expression of neutrality. He stares at her as if scolding her, an employee scolding their superior, Dominic is bold if nothing else. He knows this woman is strong, she could perhaps launch an Arrow faster than he can punch and kill him in an instant but his stalwart mentality makes him refuse the option of changing his tone. She speaks to him again, giving him a choice.
“The Shinigami and Arrancar will get their payment in due time. If you wish to stay and fight, then go. If not--”
She reaches a hand out towards him, an invitation to follow her once more despite what he has just said to her, his feelings were laid bare and maybe he was too harsh. Impossible, the great Blume Diamante who disregards the feelings of others should be able to take it right? Surely she can.
“Come with me, and stay by my side. We will return when it is safe.”
He raises his hand and instead of taking hers, he points at her, his brows furrowed into a frown. His index finger aimed right for her forehead, if he had a bow of his own this would be quite the threatening gesture to make.
”Last time, this is the last time we run. You get your shit together and start acting like the Empress you’re supposed to be and take some consideration for the people working for or serving you cause if you don’t you’re dumb scary-ass is going to be surrounded by backstabbers and schemers and I hate those type of people more than anything.”
He takes her hand and grips it tightly, not so tight as to harm her but to get his point and feelings of frustration across if words weren’t enough.
”I’ll follow you only cause you need someone who ain’t scared to call you stupid. Got too many ‘Yes Ma’am’ mother F%$#ers around you. Next time we show our faces around here you better be the damn Empress or else I’m gonna be pissed.”
Dominic accepts her offer and doesn’t sugarcoat anything he says to her. Running isn’t in his style but then again he can’t just let her run off alone to make more stupid decisions and not get called out on it.

Shoumetsu-Takahiroedit.png

11th-border.png

Hearing the sounds of the 5th division activating the Senkaimon for the two of them to enter through it he eagerly reached down unsheathing both of his kodachi then attempted to race Hiroka into it with the hell butterfly guiding them to their destination. Shoumetsu moved with haste to reach the World of the Living, but not for the right reasons even though coming to provide help to Furia and the other shinigami that requested the 11th division was in mind, his intentions for haste came purely from the thought of battle. As he charged through the dimensional zone of the Senkaimon with the traditional Japanese waiting doors opening up quickly one after the other still holding his two kodachi in hand he began to call out his release phase.
”Dance in the madness...Enshōjo!”
With his zanpakuto name called out the two kodachi discharged a flash of electricity that and once it faded away his zanpakuto Shikai form was now wielded in his hands. The two deer knives let off a small static discharge when he reached over, tapping Hiroka with his blade first marking his ally with the magnetism. Since Shoumetsu last fight he didn’t get the luxury to utilize his zanpakuto at all in the togabito fight, Enshojo made sure to give him one big ear full of non-stop threats and fussing about the consequences if he didn’t use her this time around. Soon the final traditional Japanese door slid open with the light and scenery of Karakura Town seen before them, although Shoumetsu deciding to take the more tactical route concealed his reiatsu right as he stepped out to properly assess their situation and not just jump in blindly. Landing down on top of a rooftop he looked to see the giant whale menos grande easily spottable rampaging throughout the city, but no immediate sign of Furia could be seen so he did the next best thing.
” Heart of the south, eye of the north, finger of the west, foot of the east, arrive with the wind and depart with the rain...Bakudō #58. Kakushitsuijaku."
The second Shoumetsu touched down on the building below the surface he pulled out a special container from his haori and began to draw a circle, with the appropriate symbols set apart in four quadrants upon the ground, using a black powder. Speaking the incantation to the bakudo while he drew the symbols, wasting no time to not only locate the exact positioning of where Furia was in Karakura Town but figure out where the enemies and other players were all scattered as well. When both of them managed to learn the coordinates of those who were possible too, he cracked his neck looking at Hiroka and one of the large menos whales that were on their way to reach where Furia happened to be.
” The priority is we kill everything in our way, and second priority kills things out of our way to go give back up to the others.” The moment Hiroka was ready to go, Shoumetsu took advantage of the debris caused by the whale's attacks. ”Aianmeiden Sutanpīdo (Iron Maiden's Stampede)!”
The moment he called out his Shikai technique name an electromagnetic field burst from out rapidly spanning out in a 50-foot radius with Shoumetsu marking the center point. Everything that this magnetic field swept across quickly became subjected to Enshojo’s magnetic effect with Shoumetsu leaping upwards into the air kicking at the sky heading in transit toward Furia, and one of the many whale menos blocking their path. All the magnetized items gradually begin to lift off the ground flying in pursuit after was the opposite magnetic pull that guided the debris of various sizes and speeds to come hurling behind him. Upon reaching the whale his sadistic grin only widened further immediately rotating his body turning himself into a buzzsaw that begins traveling all along menos carving it up as well each consecutive hit from this spinning motion he did apply a stronger magnetic effect onto the whale eventually turning it into one large magnet everything was being drawn too. Shoumetsu knew this wasn’t going to be enough to take it down, however with the combined strength of Hiroka that was a different story for the deadly duo. Despite being a high-seat then Hiroka, since the two met in the academy he has always seen him as one of his equals, and with this level of respect, the two had learned how to easily shadow and sync their movements together with very little to be said between them verbally. He knew they couldn’t waste much time dealing with this so planned to come in full force from the start of the battle and continuously cut through paths to meet up with Furia, knowing they would get more done working as a team instead of individually.
