Perhaps the beast misunderstood the magnitude of Silas skill when it came to being a Quincy let alone a tactician. When Blatz found himself attempting to escape the grasp of his lightning, what he would find instead was not a snake but in fact a bolt of lightning. There was no mouth to clamp down on his form but the sheer essence of electricity and if there was one thing that dictated the difference between these two it was their fields of attack. While the beast found himself using sound to deter and even subdue some foes he would find that Silas lightning was much quicker than any sound wave as with any devastating storm, lightning came first. Amidst this when the beast found himself attempting to loose a sound wave it would in turn be cut short or merely met with a far more aggressive force before it could escape his vocal cords. Amidst it all, had the beast still attempted his escape, Sila's arm was here to protect his face from the immediate harm of the dust that would have inevitably been kicked up.
In the end had the beast still attempted his escape Silas was more the prepared to deal with its actions filled with folly. He was slowly but surely going to become outmanned whether it be by a group of Quincy or a band of Shinigami. One might even wonder what was happening above as the clouds continued to brew a storm. Streaks of reishi filled lighting coursing through the air as thunder soon rolled in not long after. The longer this beast thought himself capable of pursuing some rampage the quicker and more aggressive the storm got. Silas was preparing to completely lock down their fight. It was a nuisance to think that even adjucha like this one would attempt to go it alone within the human world. He was posing himself no different than the bount that was dressed as Santa Klaus.
Amidst it all even if the beast managed to get away Silas could be seen pulling out a Steele Schneider from within his suit jacket and taking it within his grasp ready to conduct something far more potent than a simple lightning strike. He was going to put a rather quick end to this attack on the human world. His patience was quite easily wearing thin with the beast. It was only a matter of time before things came to an end one way or another.

The beast unleashed a shockwave, made with his own reiryoku. Katsuo anticipated the creature not going down without a fight.
"Sōseijigitsune Tate!"
(双生児盾, “Twin Fox Shield”) The initial shockwave produced by the Bat Hollow gets blocked by the shield Katsuo creates with his own Reiatsu, as it Shatters upon impact, shards of it left behind come to life, as reflective surfaces reflect Katsuo's body giving the illusion there are more than one yet again. The Katsuo at the very end Flings the shards toward the batbeast, each one of them super charged with the young man's Reiatsu, capable of burning or freezing the target at random. The man at the end of the onslaught of raining sharpened shards charges in with them.
As that goes, the music in his ears still plays as the real Katsuo reveals himself again this time behind the bat, as his shards and clone prove to be the distraction for the bat. Katsuo would come up from behind and spear the bat in the back of his head with Eikōgitsune's heated blade, hopefully before that Quincy manages to kill the target. Katsuo wasn't about to let that Quincy sign his death warrant with the shinigami. To protect the silver haired impatient man, Katsuo needed to kill this Hollow Quickly.

Run. Hide. Avoid. Survive.
What chance did he have of escaping his pursuers? What were the chances of them managing to get a hold on him as they wanted? Both questions had yet to be answered, but quite possibly, the answer would soon come. While there was the slim chance that this destruction wouldn’t be enough to deter the shinigami from their pursuit, he did what he had to in order to buy himself time. Crashing through these series of houses, weaving back and forth to create absolute chaos and casualties, the hollow had been charging a series of concentrated ceros within the palms of his hands and one that curled and constricted into a ball within his gaping maw. Glittering and shining like a star for a split second, he clamped his mouth shut, and the cero vanished. With the tight clench of his fists, those followed suit as if they’d never existed in the first place.

Even over the crashing of his body as he barreled his way through wall after wall, his innate senses could hear the pattering of feet above his head, following his path of destruction by just a margin, and then the shrill cry as she called forth the first release of her zanpakuto rang through his ears. “ Pulverize and Purify, Namakizu! ” The vicious expanse of energy expelled forth to propel her far ahead of himself and into the air. Through the cracks and holes that were created upon his destruction, he peered up with his hollow sockets and leered his golden irises at the looming figure above, her form completely shielding the light of the moon, that wanted nothing more than to do harm to him. Granted that he was just about to devour his wife, but that wasn’t the point.
He continued to charge forth, his fingers twitching away as he watched this monstrous weapon come crashing down with the intent to cut him off. With a fierce whipping motion, the hollow cast away his right hand from his body while unfurling his fingers, releasing the awaiting cero that he’d charged prior the moment he’d gotten within a two meter’s worth of distance from the intended destruction zone set by the shinigami woman as she came hurtling down from the skies to once again make contact with her weapon. Upon her weapon’s touchdown, the cero would reach the intended ten-meter mark meant for him as a whole and detonated, reducing the immediate area into a cloud of dust that reached the skies, barreling well over a hundred feet above their heads and out in all directions from the centered impact zone.
Even as he did all to avoid the monstrous woman during this entire ordeal, the hollow’s attention was set on both shinigami. After having dealt with his wife, the blue-haired shinigami called for assistance before she too joined in the pursuit to capture him, blade at the ready. However, the tables were turned upon the release cero. Using the power of its explosive properties, the hollow had braced himself for the explosion to send him reeling back, dismembered hand reformed, and bore another cero in the making, only for that to follow suit in its disappearance upon the closing of his fist. His body lost and hidden in the debris, he doubled back on all fours in the opposite direction and found himself running into the second shinigami just three meters from Omoni's position, her blade ready in hand and ready to strike at where his ankles would’ve been had he not been on all fours. Such close proximity of her blade’s reach, he easily avoided the blade and with open palms placed firmly against the ground, and released the two of his ceros and doubled the damage of what his first blast had, effectively creating significant distance and damage to everything and quite possibly everyone within the vicinity, the output of power shaking the foundation that they resided on.
This beast had nothing left to lose. So what else would he do before he was satisfied in capture or escape?

While most fisherman before her would have considered this to be the point at which the line should have been cut, Omoni Hageshi knew this was when the fight was really going to begin. Now was not the time to turn tail and run. Now was the moment that making a move and not making a move was going to determine the success or failure of the mission. To hook the catch or not. Doing nothing but avoiding the calamity could have been a sound strategy but that was not the way the Fourth Lieutenant did things.
As the plume of debris blanketed them all, she cut through it like a guillotine. Her enhanced vision was not dependent on whether she could physically view the beast it was just his spiritual power that she had to be able to pick out and so she had kept perfect track of him throughout the path of his struggle. The first cero had the ground below her feet quivering but she barely felt it at the velocity she was traveling. The power of it’s wave slammed into the massive woman yet her rate of approach was relatively unhindered. Hageshi was an almost finatical practitioner of endurance and so, although the weight of the Hollow’s attack should have sent her flying in the other direction; Omoni pushed through the shock. This kept her right on track crossing the distance between them as the monster was repelled from the site only to come into contact with Oyama who was just arriving to lend her aid. In a lot of cases, Hageshi had been known to completely ignore those chosen to be her teammates. It was not that she thought herself superior or that she did not care about their safety. Rather, it was the result of being so hell bent on the objective that she forgot they were there and it was due to this that Omoni most often worked alone except in this situation Hageshi was grateful for the younger girl for she was just the distraction that was needed.
A flash from the cero indicated to the lieutenant that the Hollow was not done thrashing. It’s struggle against her and Oyama was not quite finished. By the looks of things it was hoping to take the both of them out and by extension possibly itself like some kind of suicide bomber. That was not good to say the least, because the requirements of the procedure she had to perform dictated it to be attained alive. However, from what she had learned so far, this Hollow was able to regenerate it’s own limbs so it dawned on her that it was more than likely going to be able to survive a lot of what she could throw at it. It was just planning on the both of them losing their lives instead. Omoni did not expect the thirteenth division member to remain where she was to be injured by the blasts. Half of her reckoned the girl would get out of harms way on her own but the lieutenant was not going to take chances. The hollow had taken a split second to throw down it’s claws and allow it’s ceros to erupt below. This meant that for that brief timeline he would be stationary and therein would lie her chance.
The broken ground detonated and the shards meant to brutalize them scattered but Omoni’s Reiryoku radiated off of her in the shape of brilliant blue flames which enveloped the entire scene including Oyama, the Hollow and herself. Just as swiftly as their flesh was torn and battered or bones were fractured, the wounds would be overcome by those flames and in their place just a reminder of the trauma. The medic’s intention was to ensure the both of them would live on to continue the pursuit. Involving her ability to heal whilst on the field of battle was the way that the lieutenant fought. Since she had done so, any kind of damage that Oyama or herself received would be met with Hageshi’s relentless reparation Reiatsu but, physically imposing her brand of medical kido upon others was not her only style of combat. Soon, flares of the cero’s might started to shred the torso of her uniform revealing her gruesome collection of scars which would have only served as a testament to the horrendous possibilities as to what this woman had condemned herself to so that she could satisfy her own stubbornness.
This was when Hageshi pounced. Quite literally, she pounced onto the Hollow’s back and in one fluid motion made the attempt to bind him in a headlock. Both of her legs now clenched like a vice around his large arms with their ankles fixed together. At the same time, he’d find Namakizu’s iron pressing firmly against his throat below it’s skeletal jaw from behind while her left arm came up to secure the club there. It’s various spikes and spines would have begun to pierce his neck if he did start to exert itself any longer. In her mind, it was capable of withstanding even that especially if it could reproduce itself. Omoni locked onto the beast’s body as if it were an extension of her own, her tremendous weight on him making fast movements close to impossible. This was going to be the sinker and now the both of the behemoths on the field were going to writhe together. Entangled in their raw power they were entrapped in an embrace that would depend on which of their spiritual energy and fortitude was truly more capable than the other. Countless opponents before this one had gone toe to toe with Hageshi’s brawler-type maneuvers and each one found themselves helpless to her influence yes but above all...they could not penetrate the sheer unbreakable will of that woman. Once she had latched onto that Hollow she was not going to let go unless she had incapacitated it or she was dead.
Could Hollows choke? Did they “pass out”? Honestly, Omoni did not know because this was one of the few times she had ever been dispatched to capture one of them alive but that did not matter to her. The one and only thing she was concerned about was remaining attached to the creature regardless if she was injured or not. In fact, unfortunately for the Hollow the kind of pain that would have surely deterred someone from remaining in the toil did the very opposite for Omoni. The more wounds that she received, the more fierce her constriction became. Similarly, the more courageous wrath that broiled in her blood the more she genuinely wanted to relish in sweet agony..This Hollow was going to do everything it could to hurt her and she was counting on it.

“OI! YOU GONNA WRAP THIS GUY UP OR NOT?!”
The lieutenant’s call sounded like a siren carrying over the deafening sound from the explosion. It reached out for Oyama’s attention and it traveled with a revitalizing sensation. If she was undergoing a momentary amount of shock or perhaps even fear this expansion of Reiryoku would have served to jolt the girl back to attention as if ripping the reigns away from those troubling emotions and putting them back into her own hands so that she could regain control over herself without hesitation. That was, if she had lost it in the first place. In addition to that, her resounding cry would shake the foundation of the girl’s power in general. Exactly like a battery being recharged rapidly and even upgraded to a degree. If she was going to let loose a technique now then it was going to be at a level she had not attained before.
All there was for Omoni to do was hang on and wait for her partner to respond to her command. In her opinion, Oyama was a strong Shinigami and although she did not know the girl that well Hageshi had always been one able to see the real character in a person. Their power was another thing entirely but it wasn’t what the lieutenant looked for in someone when she met them and usually her obnoxiously large pool of spiritual energy was so potent that it gave those around her a severely uncomfortable feeling. They would be stronger and healthier after spending time in her presence but it was common for them to want to get away as soon as possible. Maybe this had something to do with her permanently grouchy attitude too but however it was, Omoni noticed this girl was not repulsed by her and from what the mountain could tell, Oyama was not a coward. As soon as she could, she had faith the girl would help and so Hageshi settled in for one wild ride.

A miscalculation bred the most unexpected error. He didn’t account for the skill this individual quincy possessed, he was a different sort. Much more of a worthy adversary than all of his previous meals or opponents that had come before him. Who would have known, a quincy. He long thought them to be an inferior race, below that of the Shinigami that pursued his kind day in and day out. The finality of it all, the dependency of his survival was all inclusive to his own skillset and the ratio in which Quincy and Shinigami existed in the realm in which he was required to feast upon the living flesh to advance his evolution. He existed in a paradox of sorts, he lived day to day through this means of survival, it was one of the many beastly things most hollows had in common. It wasn’t up until today he seemed to have been fated so unlucky in his pursuit of food. He found himself in a situation where the tides had turned against his favor, upon committing to his feint of sorts to paralyze and repulse away his enemies, it instead left him vulnerable to the quick and precise shot of lightning which was cast down around the upper body of the hollow, further causing damage and electrocution. The sound wave he tried to emit was stopped short as he was unable to lose his reiatsu in time. The Hollow then fell to its knees in certain shock and potential defeat. He breathed heavily, he was lucky to have lived through the previous attack. He was sure that he was nearing his end, in the end, what did he accomplish here? It truly puzzled him why he was sent here. Did he accomplish all that he needed to? So much still felt unfinished. Would Blatz die here?
