" H..Huh.. Where am i?" He thought as his body shivered in pain, visible tremors shooting through his body that had no structure to it. He was rigged muscle holding in bone soup. There was a warm wet feeling, blood, he realized immediately. Slowly the white lights and thrum of clutter being moved around faded from his ears. There was only silence.

As if time had stopped, Jinno remembered crawling out of the Training Room and then falling into a state of nothingness. Now he was here, in this all too familiar place. The only difference is he was standing, holding his sealed Zanpakuto in his hand. He took a step forward and without warning, without pause, with every lethal intent to be assumed. A force struck against his chest, sending him skidding across the forehead of a giant purple face. The dust kicked up at his feet, fleeing from his forced retreat. From the shadows in front of him, a person forms in front of Jinnosuke. A female, one with ogre like appearance, no, Devil like. It was in this moment the two engaged in their first meaningful dialogue. Jinnosuke asked many questions about Ikari, and many questions were answered about himself. In the end they were there for one thing. To complete his training.
Ikari leapt again, her feet carrying her to Jinnosuke's chest once more, Ikari was lightning fast without that huge skull plate armor she wore previously. Even beyond that in the training room under Eleventh, this was her world, she owned it. Here her strength and speed knew no limits. As she traveled through the air, Jinnosuke was able to follow it running the back of his hand down her foot and ankle, until he was able to snatch it.
The moment he did however, Ikari spun her entire body weight around the point of the grapple, her free leg drawing back in the spin, and once turning naturally towards the direction of her leg, she appeared on the other side delivering a lighting fast kick with her heel. Instead of being crushed into the ground this time, Jinnosuke's arm instinctively moved to dodge it. Her heel twitching with pressure as it bore down on his wrist. There was no emotion on Jinnosuke's face, and a laugh escaped Ikari's throat. Jinnosuke was faster than ever before, his body enduring through this is testimony of the torture he can take. They sparred like this for hours, until a pool of sweat and blood was leaking off the giant purple face they fought upon. How long had it been, hours? days? weeks? Jinnosuke didn't care, He knew he hadn't passed on to be reborn because he as still meditating. He figured he was laying in fourth division with someone leaning over him telling him how much of an idiot he is.
Jinnosuke would sigh, with a ever so small smile creeping upon his face. He reached out his hand towards a distant purple face, a giant structure that he was too familiar with. The sound of ripping stone and the waft of a blade flying through the air. And Ikari was now in Jinnosuke's hand. Mustering his Reiatsu into a violent pressure, He would swing his blade. The Reiryoku cracking the ground under him as it physically manifests into a black and purple aura around his blade. " I swing this sword ten thousand times, every day. I swing this sword more then men hold their cocks. I swing this sword more than the humans we protect draw breath, it is Autonomic, We are one." The last two phrases were said in unison by Jin's voice, and another, something deep within Ikari. Adding a beautiful duet to his grungy harsh voice, and her elegant almost falsetto voice. Setting his second hand on the handle of his crude zanpakuto. Jinnosuke slashes out with all he has learned in the time he has trained. Two raw months of torturous training followed by a mental battle that was visible causing him to nearly induce seizures in his physical body. His muscles rippled, his stance solidified, and still he was moved back a few inches, as he brought his sword down. Aiming at that far distant face in the stone, Jin's attack left his blade, a rippling slash in the shape of a perfect vertical line. The black and purple wave had nearly no travel time, the second it left the blade the force of ten thousand swings followed it. If one were to blink they would miss it, the sheering energy that ripped through the giant stone face. It made no impact noise, only the splitting of stone could be heard in the creepy artificial silence of the attack.
He took the Zanpakuto in a single hand once more, running his palm of his left hand over the blades black core. "Zettai no Nami, That will be your name. I need to accept the fact that, no matter what i think. Mastering you and your techniques is my path forward to victory. " 絶対の波 Zettai no Nami. The Absolute Wave, takes every drop of malicious hatred in Jinnosuke's heart, and manifests it within his reiatsu. Formulating a ranged wave attack powerful enough to sheer a mountain in half. Coming to the conclusion that even if it isn't sword on sword, There was honor more in mastering yourself, than mastering others. Even if he didn't really look different, Jinnosuke was becoming a completely different shinigami. The life lessons and combat lessons learned along his way will never be forgotten.
Jinno would look towards the sky and laugh lightly, an actual feeling of serotonin coursing through his brain. It was a gentle laugh. Almost uncharacteristic of the brute called the Devil Jin. He would look over at an Ikari who was sitting on the nose of one of the giant stone faces. "Who knows how long it'll be before were able to move, Let's keep this up until you kick me out... HEH! " Just like that they were at it again, this time Jinnosuke's new attack would be implemented in the ever growing chain of combos they worked out together. As if every training session before today's Ikari and Jinnosuke were fighting for control. Now, in this moment it was as if they were fighting together.
Hours more went by, and then days. Until finally a stirring in his physical body would make the nurses freak out. His neon green eyes crept open, until the blurry haze of lights would fade and he could see the bright almost comical nurses outfits that they all had to wear. "Huhwha...." He accidentally muttered out, instantly his body was racked with sharp pains like needles being plunged into him. The nearest nurse would leap up and immediately inject a colored liquid into a drip bag. A warm and then ice cold feeling shot through his body, finally the pain stopped and he felt like he could breath again. "Thanks Nur...."; Jinno had started to say before one of the Nurses shot a finger to his face, nearly poking him in the eye. " VICE CAPTAIN UEKU DO NOT MOVE OR SPEAK OR WE WILL HAVE TO TELL ON YOU!" This chain of events only made him laugh harder. It's a good thing that nurse numbed him before. Otherwise his deep chuckles would probably cause him to cough blood. " You keep putting that juice in my body and i'll be just fine, i'm more resilient than you think. Please let someone know i am awake, i'll stay put." The nurse's mouth dropped. She didn't believe the words coming out of his mouth. " Ok.. This is far more serious than i thought... Tell Captain Nakamoto that Vice Captain Ueku woke up and was polite and said he would listen to us and that, well, he must have brain damage." This cause Jinno to laugh again, the nurse visibly freaked out at this point would scurry off.
A deep sigh escaped Jinnosuke, he laid in the hospital bed and remained still. Awaiting someone to come and scold him for his actions.

A few days had gone by since Katsuo had joined the 7th Division. Helping around the division mostly as he has yet to go on his first assignment. The 7th Division being primarily responsible for doing routine patrols in the Rukongai. Today he was about to begin his Shikai training. Having learned about Rotasu and the element that she taught him. He is capable of summoning the lightning around the blade, but has a few problems maintaining the reiatsu. The drawback is the fact that it drains away at his reiatsu at a quick pace. Currently he is able to hold the shikai form for five minutes.
What Katsuo hopes to achieve is a different method of controlling his shikai. During the final years of his training at the academy, Rotasu hinted at a way to maintain shikai without draining too much reiatsu. He got himself ready and made his way out of his room and out toward the training yard of the division. When he got there, he looked for a spot where there weren't many of his fellow shinigami around. Having found a spot in a corner, he made his way there, zanpakuto within his left hand. Katsuo sat down, crossing his legs, he then followed by placing his zanpakuto upon his lap. Going into a deep meditation trance and forcing himself into his Spirit World in order to communicate with Rotasu.
Within his Spirit World he appears to be standing on top of a dark cloud. There are many of these clouds. Around the clouds, lightning strikes happen at a near constant rate. His hues look directly toward Rotasu, who appears as a large black dragon. She greets him as she sees him with her crystal striking blue orbs, ’’Greetings Katsuo.. You are here to…’’, her tone suddenly changed and her speech sounded like an angry roar, ’’TO GET YOUR ASS HANDED TO ME ON A SILVER PLATTER!’’. Katsuo looked at her with a ‘I am not bothered by your attitude’ sort of face. He replied to her in a calm and confident manner, ’’Yo Rotasu.. I am here to learn more about you. I believe I have figured out the hint you gave me last time I was here.. Should I explain what a river is?’’
With his words, he left the giant dragon with a surprised look upon her snout. Did he really figure it out? The second part of his training in wielding his shikai without having to worry too much about his reiatsu? A few questions were being asked within her head. ’’Go on Katsuo, what have you figured out?’’. Katsuo snickered and replied, ’’You said to me, I’m like a river. The river means that I am constantly using my reiatsu once I release you, thus constantly draining my spiritual force as I am too focused on using your power.’’ Rotasu lifted her giant paw to pause Katsuo’s speech for a second, ’’Indeed, but that should have been very easy for you to figure out.. It took you that much time just to get the meaning of a river?’’ Katsuo then chuckled, forcing Rotasu to growl at him before responding back to her, ’’Ahahaha!... No Rotasu, that was the easy part. What I figured out was that it was a mere hint at something bigger. Like maybe how to block and unblock the constant flow of my currents.’’
Now more than being surprised about his stupidity, it was more about how smart he was. Just by thinking for days about how to adjust his shikai to better meet his needs in combat drawing a battle out for a longer period of time. Rotasu responded, ”Heh? Well done Katsuo. Yes.. I will teach you how to control your shikai more effectively. At your current level you can only release my power for about 5 minutes, however when I teach you the second part of the release, you should be able to maintain shikai for up to 20 minutes.” Katsuo nodded and listened carefully to what she had to say. ”The duration will further increase, the stronger you become Katsuo.”
With that he understood that he needed to learn how to control his shikai without losing too much of his spiritual energy. Rotasu began training Katsuo, firing off breaths of lightning from her mouth. All Katsuo did for the time being was avoid the blasts whilst holding his zanpakuto in his right hand, fully unsheathed. As Katsuo moved, Rotasu’s breaths had become more fierce and dangerous. Back in the real world, fellow members from his division swarmed around Katsuo; watching the sparks of lightning that were emanating from him. Most of them were keeping a decent distance from the sparks as they could sting and burn those or anything around him at close proximity.
At some point one of those sparks struck through Katsuo’s left shoulder, burning him quite badly and also causing him to bleed. More of those sparks had struck upon him on different parts of his body as he sat there meditating. Back in his spirit world, things were looking grim, Katsuo almost unable to move, his breathing heavy and his stance shaken. He was hit by Rotasu’s breaths several times. Burnt and bleeding, Rotasu released one last fierce breath and all Katsuo could do was hold his ground, he dug deep into his stance and held his zanpakuto with both his hands. He blocked the breath head on, being pushed back and struck by several sparks, with a flush of reiatsu, Katsuo summoned a current of electricity only for a brief moment into the blade of his zanpakuto. That current rushed into Rotasu’s breath, cancelling her own lightning blast. It was then that Rotasu looked down at Katsuo with a smirk and spoke, ”Just like that.. On and off. Do it again.” She said to a man who was barely even conscious enough to stand. He spoke back in between heavy breaths, ”Aha… Goodnight..”
With that his consciousness slipped back into his physical body, barely opening his eyes before losing his consciousness and simply dropping himself to his side. His reiatsu completely calming down, a few of the members in the 7th division rushed to his side only to see that he had several burns and wounds. One of them lifted him onto his back whilst another took up Katsuo’s zanpakuto and rushed him toward the 4th division for treatment.

"Why is she sulking?"
"She was supposed to be a field medic...if she's still here I guess that means she didn't get it.."

"Neither!"

The sound of the woman's voice was sudden, startling the gossiping nurses. Unaware she had moved off to that room, darker now than the previous had been. Apologies were stuttered but with a side glance from the angry woman they said nothing and simply wandered away.
She was indeed sulking, however. Though she refused to accept this as truth. She was angry she had not made it in time to accompany Omoni-sama. So much time spent to be able to work alongside her and her being late once had ruined it.
Despondent she remained within the emergency area in case a patient too difficult for the staff that remained there for now were in need of someone with extra experience. The place had been particularly boring, though this could have been due to how many large scale events they'd been having. Their normal now seemed so little. Something in the other room captured her attention, though she couldn't quite make out what was being said.
junsulk.png

As she made her way toward the room, rolling herself off of the couch and onto the floor lazily. By the time she was within hearing distance they were now hushing whoever it was which.... it was Jinnosuke!
Practically skipping she bound into the room, surprising the upset nurses as she made her way past them. Seeing he had been medicated she swung herself around while hopping, twirling just enough to land on the edge of his bed, close to him though not having landed on him. The jolt might give him a bit of a sting though nothing more thanks to the medicine.
"Fukutaichō, we wouldn't want to to call Omoni-sama back, would we?"
She said this jokingly, though as she scanned the paperwork before her she became more serious.
4th3.png

"Apologies, Fukutaichō, but they are correct. We cannot allow you to move until your injuries are fully discovered and healed. Please remain still until they have been completed. If you don't I do have the authority to put you to sleep until your health is no longer in such a delicate position, sir. The nurses will take you--"
A group of rambling men burst through the doors. Straightening herself to stand now she waved the nurses away to send him off to be checked for the full extent of his injuries. Eyes setting on the gaggle of upset shinigami she simply pushed her way through them, giving them all the sight of her index finger, starting at the man to her left before finally stopping at the man to her right, finger moving to point.
"You. What happened?"
The more the man explained, the more the others began to chime in, each having a different version of the story. In the end it didn't really matter, and the arguing had actually been a blessing for her. She turned her head away as she moved to take hold of some paperwork. The burns weren't very severe, though due to their nature it did look quite awful. It was nothing that was life threatening.
Meanwhile...
junlaugh.png

She desperately tried not to laugh aloud. She wasn't quite sure of why herself; it just simply seemed oddly hilarious to her. Stifling herself as the men argued and she filled out the necessary paperwork and her initial diagnoses, as well as recommended testing. By the time she had finished she had returned to her normal smile. Handing the papers to a near-by nurse she informed the men of her plans.
"First, however. When he was burned...did he yell? One answer.
The men seemed confused about the question and the harsh way she asked it of them in comparison to her earlier behavior.
Seeming too unreliable she instead approached him, pulling a bag and tubing from the storage area beneath the mattress he rest on. Opening the bag she set the oxygen levels and attached it to the non-re-breather; she paused before she put the mask on, however. One hand holding a penlight she bent over, peering up into his nose and then into his mouth. She nodded with slight relief though put the mask on anyway and sent the nurses along to test what they needed to once more.
With this she told the men to wait in one of the exterior rooms or return to their barracks and they would be summoned the moment his condition changed. Either way she was finished with them, giving a friendly smile and wave before turning on her heel dismissively. She took her place back on the couch she had been on previously, a small smile on her face.
At least today wasn't completely boring.

A moment would pass before the sudden arrival of a white robed figure obscured Shin'eki's train of focus, his battle instincts took over, however he couldn't make heads or tails of this figures reiryoku or reiatsu for that matter, it was if the mysterious figure existed, but at the same time, didn't. Noticing the crest of the First Division upon the envelope the figure bequeathed to Maho-Taichou before seemingly evaporating into thin air.
Shin'eki stood there, stunned at what he had just witnessed, was nobody going to acknowledge the actions, and even, perhaps the origin of said "messenger"? Shaking his head to disregard the technicalities of the sudden arrival and disapperance of a being that seemed to not even exist, Shin'eki would clutch the saya of his zanpakutou before he too, would head out of the office as everyone seemed to disperse. He'd make his way down the wooded awning of the barracks, before the sound of a familiar voice would perk his interests.
"Hello, niisan!"
Shin'eki's eyes would flash upward as he saw the silhouette of his underling calling out to him. Without so much as a word or signal toward the others, the red-haired shinigami would bolt off, his child-like laughter filling the air as he launched himself toward Ijoushi Suru.
"IJO-CHAAAAN!"
The boy's legs and arms would be stunted infront of him, as if he were planning to land directly onto Ijoushi's figure, however, a quick shunpo would find itself erasing Shin'eki's presence for a mere fraction of a second before he found himself placing his arm around the dark-haired male. Bringing his right arm around Ijoushi's neck, which would in-turn bring him down to Shin's level as Shin'eki shouted.
"YAAAAAHOOOOOO!! I've got so many ideas on what we can do nii-chan!
Before Shin'eki would allow Ijoushi to even react, let alone respond, Shin'eki would pull at the boy's shuhakusho's collar, seemingly dragging him backward as he marched forward, is arm swinging boldly, and his legs exaggerating his authority over the situation.
"IKUUUZO!"

Katsuo was rushed to the 4th Division’s emergency area by two of his fellow division members. The nurses had told the two to lay him upon one of the beds. There was a lot of noise going about in the emergency area. The very same noise had drawn the attention of the only seated member currently available within the division.
The two who had brought him were quite confused as to how to answer the woman who addressed them. Once she was done handling some of the admittance work and what actions she was going to take, she had tended to him directly. She had set up an oxygen mask; before actually putting it upon his mouth she had leaned down to check his nose and mouth, which to her findings would be that there was nothing out of the ordinary there.
Once the mask was upon his face, Katsuo could breathe without much effort. Katsuo’s zanpakuto had been placed beside him where he laid. Apart from the burn marks left upon him in several different parts of his body, there was also a barely bleeding hole upon his left shoulder. Most of the wound had been closed off because of the lightning burns around the entry point of the hole, but inside it was still fresh.
The nurses were sent off to do some tests, whilst Katsuo laid there, sleeping quite peacefully. For the time being, he showed no signs of waking up. The two men were told to wait in another room until their fellow shinigami were to wake up, the two mumbling about the sparks that had caused the burns upon him in the first place.
