The anger was visible on Jinnosuke's face when the others entered. Her eyes narrowed slightly for a moment as she looked over him. Making a mark on his chart so fast it would have been difficult for anyone to see, she had hopped up to attend to the other patient as the clipboard was taken from her. The look of his shattered body had Junko biting her lower lip, eyes creasing in sadness. She knew there was nothing she could do for him. She could not fix this. It was why Omoni-sama had to leave. She wasn't sure exactly what it was, however it was obvious it was the man's only chance.
However, she could ease his pain as well as soothe his anger. With the new arrival awaiting and him being sent off with an almost worried expression on his face, Junko gave a sudden flare of her reiatsu. Afterward it was a simple matter of controlling a steady release of reiatsu within the emergency wing. The effect was almost immediate, the wing quieting down dramatically as the fear and pain around her subsided. Before looking to the new patient and having sent him off, her eyes had wandered back to Jinno, focusing more of her reiatsu's effect upon him. He was obviously in more pain than he was letting on, so this mixed with the extra pain medication she had checked on his chart right before should soon have him comfortable.
Meanwhile....

After treating the other initially and waiting for the testing of both men to finish, she allowed herself to relax. All the while her reiatsu continued to fill the wing with its effects, leaving the patients in better states to heal and be treated as they remained calm and free of pain.
The burned man had finished first and was apparently awake, demanding the one in charge. For a moment Junko simply blinked. "Why are you telling me..." It took her a moment to realize that it was indeed she they were looking for with the recent departure of their Captain.
Arriving to the man's room she gave a bright smile as she greeted him, introducing herself simply as 'Junko'. The nurses had set him up to an IV already, handing her his updated information on a clipboard when she entered. Looking over it it appeared to be nothing very serious, however he did require some immediate attention. Finished scanning over it she gave a smile and approached the left side of his bed.
"It appears your injuries aren't life threatening, however we just need to patch you up real quick and you can be on your way. Just be sure to take it easy for about a week. You won't feel as good as you do right now once you leave.
Especially in that moment, within such close proximity to her, he would feel the effects of her reiatsu even more strongly than before. It would take little effort to aid the man, the charred skin removed while using a special bandage of her own design. Like a single layer of gauze in appearance, she simply placed it over the treated wound, covering the large, but shallow wounds entirely. Infusing reiatsu along with healing kido, it would harden immediately as if a scab. It helped stimulate the healing process of the wound itself while helping to create the multiple layers of skin; leaving the area virtually without a scar.
These proved simpler than what could only be described as a hole in the man's shoulder. Giving a sigh she beckoned a nurse over for the extra reiatsu, working together as they healed him through the worst of it with kido. Moving away, Junko allowed the nurse to finish placing the small "gauze" pieces ti his front and back both before binding his injuries up. With a smile and a thumbs up she once more warned him to be careful. However, as long as he wasn't too rough he would be completely healed soon enough. The sound of approaching wheels filled her ears, the gurney moving along down the hall loudly. She could feel it was Jinnosuke returning from his tests and she bound away, waving to the now discharged patient.

Landing before the gurney she was seen for a moment before hopping atop the bed and sitting upon it once more. The nurses, so used to her antics, did not miss a beat despite her suddenly appearance in the path. She assured once more she had close proximity to him to ease his pain more. Taking the clipboard from the nurse handing it to her she read what she had expected them to find. Placing it in the small slot on the head of the bed where it belonged, she looked to his face with a smile.
"Bad news is there's nothing more we can do right now. But you knew that. Good news is it's fairly quiet so I can keep you company."
Higher in rank he could easily deflect her reiatsu if he wished, however there was no reason for him to wish to do so. Now back in his room, his bed placed where it belonged and the wheels locked. The nurses retreated to attend to other patients. "Please...Omoni-sama..."

Listen and Read
Kyuuzou tittered at Jatiri’s response to his hair, he saw that the officer was confident in his looks which was a good thing. The boys kept to their path, but along the way, Kyuuzou asked him about his motivations for joining the division. A hush filled the air, their feet tapping on the top of the fog cement echoed a small distance, Kyuuzou didn’t peep a word because Jatiri’s seconds of silence spoke volumes about his character. The Koi lowered his chin, he stared at the ground with a smirk, ‘heh, this guy.’ Jat’s mellow voice finally cut the quietness. “When I was a kid, the captain saved my life.” The officer stopped his sentence to check Kyuuzou’s expression, he caught a glimpse of the Lieutenant’s smirk. Kyuu kept his eyes forward and waited for the rest. ”He taught me how to be strong and believe in myself. That might seem simple to some but where I’m from, it means everything. So, I joined to serve under him partly, but there’s something else too. I have a fire in me. It guides me. Sometimes, I wonder..how much more would I achieve if I could just abandon the fear of failure,” Jatiri paused. ”My bad, I talk too much. What’s your reason for joining the Ninth?”
The two entered the NorthEast Seretei, Kyuuzou recalled the time before he entered the division; he was running a small gang at the time when he lived back in the Zaraki district. From beating the crap out of rival gangs to harassing innocents forced a sigh out of the Koi. Maho challenged Kyuuzou to a duel and the wager was that if Kyuu lost he had to join the ninth. Jatiri and Kyuuzou arrived at the ninth’s gate, Kyuuzou pressed the bottom of his hand on the gate door, it squealed as he pressed it open. Upon doing this he did not look back at Jat. “I was forced against my will,” he replied. Beyond the doors was something golden, his home. “But ya know, it ain’t too bad...livin’ here...with everybody.” Kyuuzou raised the back of his hand in the air as a farewell. “Seeya’ later Jat boy, I’m gonna’ go work out because Maho’s gonna’ bring a load of bullshit back with em’, I can feel it in my gut, keep workin’ hard because I don’t expect nothin’ out of a new recruit anyway, fail as much as you need!”
‘Thought Jiro would still be here since he’s a bit of mouse,’ The Koi went to his exclusive training room and began his warm-ups.

Warmth from the sun glanced over the barracks in waves. When Kyuu and Jat approached the gate, flocks of birds scattered passed them, ascending in a frantic haste. Jatiri ducked instinctively, lifting his arms to shield his face as some of the birds flew dangerously close to him, before elevating into the sky. He smirked, shaking his head and dropping his arms down by his sides. Returning his gaze to the lieutenant, he awaited an answer to his question. Kyuu opened the gates shortly after.“I was forced against my will,”
He said, while facing forward. In turn, Jatiri raised an eyebrow, shocked by the lieutenant’s response.’How the fuck? Who could force YOU?’ he recited these questions in his head, deciding to save them for another time. ”But ya know, it ain’t too bad...livin’ here...with everybody.”Jatiri nodded, smiling at Kyuuzou’s words. Raising his hand, the lieutenant expressed his farewell.
”Seeya’ later Jat boy, I’m gonna’ go work out because Maho’s gonna’ bring a load of bullshit back with em’, I can feel it in my gut,
Jatiri chuckled. ”I feel it too.”
keep workin’ hard because I don’t expect nothin’ out of a new recruit anyway, fail as much as you need!”
“Thanks man, I feel like a heavy weight‘s been lifted off my shoulders. I’m going to give it my all.”
The two parted ways as Jatiri stood in an open space outside the ninth’s dojo. He crouched, creating a small bend at the knees. Next, he followed this action by pushing off his right foot, triggering a quarter at the waist while drawing his right foot back, leading with the left foot pointed straight ahead. While his left hand gripped around the hilt of his Zanpakuto, Jatiri slowly drew his katana, simultaneously pulling the katana’s scabbard in the opposite direction. Upon withdrawing his Zan, Jatiri pointed the blade out in front of him, proceeding to lift the katana overhead, before driving it downward once more as the blade distorted throughout this movement.

“Clack, Clack, Clack, Clack,”
Kyuuzou stomped up the wooden stairs to his personal gym, ‘....Boi...some days I fasho’ feel like sabotagin’ the soul society, or at least a few divisions for the sake of blood spillin, hahaha!’ his hand hit the steel door with a thump, but just as he touched it he snatched his hand away. ‘Shit that’s cold..’ Kyuu opened the gym’s door, weights of all sizes lay on the floor, while ninth division towels that were folded hung on the wall. Instead of picking up one of the weights, Kyuu went to his wooden balcony and yawned. ‘...Who would I wanna’ beat the crap out of in the soul society right now?...Maybe Yu? Nah, that guy ain't built for the shit I like.’ The lieutenant stroked his chin like a wise man and glanced at the neighboring division headquarters, he lowered his head with an ear to ear grin ‘That Arashi fella’ is kinda’ stoic from what I’ve seen and heard, might be fun to egg out his true colors in a fight, buUUUuut getting into a slug fest with Higen would leave me satisfied for a while, there’s also that plain lookin’ guy in his division, Shizuka.’ Kyuuzou whipped out his Danreishinki smart-phone and went to his notes to make a list of people he wanted to fight, he titled it Hit List.
02961bcfe0d4eab7bde70052b3a5b8a9.png

“This list’ll do for now, I’ll go with the least fun lookin’ division first since I hear they’re a reserved bunch, but that also makes them one of the more dangerous divisions since it’s obvious they’re good with Kido,” Kyuuzou whispered. He tossed his phone on a nearby chair and slid his sandals and socks off, the Koi rolled his shoulders, loosening his muscles to get the blood flowing. Kyu closed his jade eyes and visualized a river of reiatsu running from the pores of his skin, he enfolded the blood aura around his body and compressed it to kiss the base of his skin. ‘Maintaining this will give me better control over my reiatsu, not only that, but with this special training I’ll be able to master it faster by swinging my weights like they're swords,’ he thought. The lieutenant reached for one of his massive weights. He smirked because he did not feel much strain on his arm muscles, the gargantuan weights put his entire body to work though.

rsz_workout33.png

Kyuuzou squeezed the handle of the weights in the fashion of a sword, his veins bulging to the surface of his skin as his arms went up and down like a lever. His reiatsu lost volume and tone, but despite that he never let it fade into nothingness. ‘Whew...this shits heavy, but it’ll help with my control ten fold, not only that but my natural strength too, even my sword play, I’ll be making man-made tornadoes if I keep this up!’ he thought. Kyuuzou raised his arms while sliding his right foot forward, he lowered his stance and kept his feet planted like tree roots. The Koi inhaled air through his nostrils and exhaled. He lowered his arms at a snail’s pace. The muscles in his arms and chest tore, they even burned but he refused to stop.
Engraved on each plate was 6,000 pounds, all together Kyuuzou lifted 30,000 pounds which was 15 tons. He continued his harsh training for over two hours, sweating like a pig. Though his reiatsu was shaky, he had more manipulation of it, but it was going to take longer before he could perfect it.
“4,588..4,589...4,590....”
Kyuuzou slid the weight out of his hand, it caused the ninth division to tremble for a second. “Whew...I’m exhausted, but I can’t stop now, a five minute break will be good though,” Kyuuzou grabbed a clear bottle of water, he twisted the cap off and squeezed it to the point it crunched. He guzzled the water in less than a minute, after he finished it sounded like he was about to drown with all the heavy breathing he did. Kyuuzou sat at the ledge of the balcony and picked up some weights going up to 1 ton. He lifted his arm up and down while retaining his reiatsu, he went on like this for another five hours with both of his arms. Kyuuzou thought about his shunpo techniques and decided to about expand on them, he figured it was a nice change of pace since it allowed for a break from lifting weights.

Listening as everyone chatted with one another, his eyes glanced over at the weight rack behind their lieutenant. Zoning out the others not even acknowledging that they left, he walks over to the rack peering at the weights intently. Jigoku never used weights because due to him using an alternate method called calisthenics, which worked out perfectly because his body obtained a considerable amount of muscle mass. but yet he feels as if he is lacking in strength, after facing captains in his past and the ones today he needs to get stronger.
Reaching out gripping a forty-five-pound dumbbell with his right hand lifting it to his chest as the lieutenant did when he walked in earlier. Giving off a slight sigh the dumbbells felt kinda light to him, he tossed the dumbbell in the air as he turned around making his way towards the entrance door to the gym. Jigoku proceeded walking through the barracks of the Ninth for about twenty to thirty minutes, suddenly he stopped in his tracks with a smirk. He felt the spiritual pressure of the lieutenant from earlier, changing his course he followed the spiritual not knowing what to expect but he knew one thing for sure he wanted to get stronger so going to him wouldn't be such a bad idea.
Spiritual pressure grew as he got closer to a certain building. Looking up Jigoku spotted Kyuuzou at the top of a balcony holding what looks like some weights. His eyes widened because the weights look like they weigh a ton compared to the ones held earlier, he knew he made the right chance to come here. Taking a slight deep breath in he cups his mouth speaking loudly "Aye lieutenant! Help me get stronger so I can strip you of your title!", once the words left his lips he would bend his legs slightly propelling himself into air disappearing then reappearing behind Kyuuzou awaiting his response while he scratched his head with one hand.
