Location: Squad 11 Barracks
It was early in the morning hour, the sun still barely waking up as its light began to breach the walls of the squad 11 barracks. As the shadows of darkness began fading with the rise of the sun, one shadow remained amongst the early light. The shadow belonged to that of Rin Takenashi. She had been up since before dawn, as she does everyday, to do her morning Tai Chi. She had been wearing her uniform minus the top, instead, she was wearing the white undershirt of her top, which was neatly folded on the deck with her zanpakutou on top of her top nearby her. As she practiced, her movements were fluid like calm running water as she moved from one pose to another with smooth fluidic transitions. After roughly 3 hours of this meditative practice, Rin started to hear the sounds of fellow barrack dwellers stirring as she began to gather her things. ”I think a quick shower, then a breakfast.” her voice was kept to herself as she ran off to do such.
Once showered, Rin made her way towards the mess of a hall used by the barracks for eating. She kept her breakfast simple but efficient as she found a corner of the mess hall to sit. It wasn’t a matter of Rin not wanting to interact with her fellow squadmates, its that she just didn’t enjoy most of their brutish behaviors having a woman around. She showed she wouldn’t have any of their antics a time or two in practice sessions. Rin tended to spend as much free time with Jinnosuke training. As her mind was wandering and thinking of her training, she hears the all too familiar voice, "Aye, Where the hell are you!" Rin looked up to see Jinnosuke trailblazing through the mess hall as she rolled her eyes knowing exactly who he was screeching for. Rin looked around for a moment, and like a predator looking for its prey, her eyes caught sight of Ruko the cat. Rin chuckled as the cat was hiding in a corner on the ceiling, very nearly out of sight. Rin was only able to spot him due to his white fur. Moments after she spotted him, he was gone as he darted off towards Jinnosuke. With a chuckle, Rin returned to her breakfast and finished quickly before she heard the vice captain mention where he was headed. Rin looked around the room at everyone that seemed unphased. With a sigh, Rin took it as a day to focus on meditation and training, but she decided to stay behind at the barracks. Mostly to keep an eye on the hoodlums that she was forced to be around daily, but she didn’t mind keeping them in line from time to time.
