Just three months? It felt like everything that happened, happened yesterday...
Arashi did his job and displayed his abilities well. The lives of many, could easily thank him for even being able to see another day. Still, he did not accept such a gratitude. The Rukongai still held a sour taste in his heart and soul, but like before, like Katsuo... Arashi could call it home, when all else fails...
From the past and now on to today! The Squad 13 barracks, easily returning to their booming lives and every day job. The members adjusted, even he adjusted. There was always work to be done, and lives in the World of the Living that needed to be saved as well. In the past three months, he has spent his hours in meditation or planning for the next group of men and women to be sent to the World of the Living. The fight against Sword-Eater is not forgotten, how could he ever forget a time where his battle prowess was tested and his life almost lost. It changed him, but for the better. Training with Hoshizora proved to be well and always she still had moves that even surprised him, much like the healing technique that he has yet to learn... For now, Arashi kept his attention upon how the Barracks were handled. His rank though not Captain, is the highest among the squad, easily placing him in charge.
With int he confines of his office, his desk was littered with paper-work and a cup of tea on his right hand side at the corner of the table. His hand well at work, with tracing his finger across paper a she thoroughly reads through every line, sentence, and paragraph. From behind him, the doors to his office opened, a man of his squad bowing respectfully.
"Arashi Suta. Patrol 3 has returned from the world of the living, shall I debrief them?"
Arashi relaxed his attention and turned around in his eat to acknowledge his subordinate. A nod and a smile revealed, genuine as it always is.
"Yes, thank you... Also."
Arashi realized that he had plans made for both himself, Oyama and Katsuo. The squad member remained awaiting the order that Arashi planned to give.
"I need you to relay a message to Katsuo and Oyama. Tell them to meet me in the training Grounds in the next 30 minutes."
With a nod and then a quick flash-step the man was gone, the door left open, and he wished that he closed it, but Arashi would stand none the less. With in his reach, he grabbed Hoshizora and placed it between his obi-sash and hakama on the left hand side. he made sure not to forget his cup of tea, which was regular in its making, having no special properties. His paper work will have to wait for now, it is time that Arashi put some focus into his top two members of Squad 13. While he had motivation and a vision to improve them, he needed to improve himself as well... The door closed behind his frame as he exits his office, the candles with in the room lost their flame leaving smoke trails. His stride held a steady and slow pace, making his way to the training grounds of Squad 13.
He stepped into a field of short grass, trimmed well and presented with a lovely display of care and hours worth of work. There was a time Arashi spent a lot of hours out here. Simply one giant field, 30 feet in length, but 50 feet in width. Four walls, covering the sides about as tall as any wall that designs the path and walk ways of the Seireitei. Immediately, Arashi moved towards the center of the field and took a seat. Crossing his legs, but before hand he removed his Zanpakuto and placed it across his lap. For the time being he sipped his tea, awaiting the arrival of both Katsuo and Oyama.
