He looked at the odd pair with an eyebrow raised as he got the answer to his question. He hadn't gotten the names of the two shinigami but he knew that they were from First division, he always wondered if any of them could pull their weight in the manner of which first had its reputation. He figured he would find out someday. The little lady looked fairly annoyed with her partner, feeling the heat from her gaze upon him like a lazer looking to pierce through whatever sheet of metal it could find its gaze upon. "Someone has a lot of temper...no envy for anyone in 1st that's for damn sure." he thought. He figured any word along those lines out loud would've made a scene in which he probably wasn't ready for.
The woman looked pretty annoyed just by Shusuke's acknowledgement of her. This didn't stop him from stealing a glance at her eyes and cheeks, two areas he had grown quickly to admire. Throwing the thoughts from his mind he nods to the white haired janitor who made himself fairly comfortable after finishing his hard work, stretching out on the ground taking in the blue skies that brought the day in. This made Shusuke look up and admire how nice it was out today. Indicating to him that she was tired of being here, whether it was in the presence of Shusuke or just the 6th Division as a whole she wanted to leave. A breeze flowing through Shu's hair, he notices something out of the corner of his eyes, the insignia of a clan he was familiar with so a lesser degree, the Gekko. The symbol was worn on the overcoat of the smaller Shinigami meaning she was a member of its clan. Remembering that he was now the sole head of his clan, it was up to him to restore it to its former glory after the passing of his father. Something his father would do was to build relationships with as many clans as he could so as to be able to call on any of them for a boon. But not just for this reason, but to increase the notoriety of the Kiyoshi as a whole. A millenia or so back, Shusuke planted the seeds of friendship with the Kasumioji clan after saving their matriarch from certain internal doom. Ever since they have been as close as ever but it was time to branch out and build a relationship with other clans as well.
"I think I'm familiar with that symbol, are you a member of the Gekko clan?"
He asked blatantly as it was genuine curiosity. He wondered if she was the daughter of the clan head or a member of a branch. Regardless, he would try to build a relationship with the clan by starting with this member before him. He hoped he wouldn't be met with the same temper she had displayed with her partner.

CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK... CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK
A faint, but repetitive sound tapping seemingly endlessly from the living quarters of the 3rd Seat. Inside, Shizuka garnered in his jet black shihakusho, held together neatly by his pearly white obi sash was sitting on the edge of his cot intently keeping track of his reconnaissance team. Strange hollow activity had been recorded over the past few weeks in the World of The Living. Something out of the ordinary was growing and it's activity seemed to be in it's roots. If his team was successful in finding substantial tracks of the Hollow's location and eating patterns, he'd be able to send the information to Kuro immediately and have him eradicate the threat before his power even becomes a serious problem. Ever since the resurgence of their captain after his 3 month hiatus, the 10th Division was more active than it had ever been. Shizuka being more firm and aggressive in his approach at work, would find himself buried in task throughout the majority of his days. Even Higen himself not much a paperwork guy, was spending his days buried in it instead of forcing Lieutenant Kasumi to do it for him. It seemed the division had a lot of catching up to do since the Kototsu, but the future was bright.
Shizuka would slide over occasionally to a different messaging channel once he finished his response to the team, indicating he was contacting someone else. The clicking from his Denreishinki would become slower, and more methodical as he typed his response back to this other channel. His expression changing from blank look to a genuine smile every time he responded back. Just as he was going to finish typing back to the individual, he heard footsteps approaching his hall in a flustered tempo. He stopped typing for a second to take quick gander at the person's reiatsu, his lightning-esque sensing capabilities never failing him. His expression immediately dropped to a frown the footsteps became even louder before until....
CRASH
"KAGAYAKI-TAICHOU SAID WAKE U--, Oh Namakemono-san is up? translated as( 懶け者; “Lazy Person”)
"Would it ever hurt to knock Chise..."
Shizuka said as he stared at his wide open door pushed back to the wall at its extremity.
"Well I'm sorry Namakemono-san, you have been very "active" lately I would say which is new for you"
"Tch.."
Shizuka scoffed at the notion
"You got something for me?"
"Kagayaki-Taichou said he needs you, I'm headed to get Ryuga now apparently it's important"

Shizuka watched as the red haired female scurried down the barracks to go on to her next task. He looked down at his Denreishinki, and clicked backspace on the entire message he was going to send. Simply typing up, as he walked over to grab his Zanpakuto before leaving the room.
"Captain called, I'll guess we'll talk after after i'm done".
He took a glance at the name on the contacts before smiling once again, reminded of his first glance upon her a few months back in Naruki City. With that small memory drifting to the back of his thoughts, Shizuka grabbed his Zanpakuto and headed to Higen's office.
Elisha-Divider.png

Shizuka would make his way over to Higen's office first among him and Ryuga, due to Chise choosing him first. As Shizuka crept into the office he witnessed a different Captain than he had seen in the last few weeks. Papers were scrambled all over the floor but he seemed sturdier, resilient, and more focused than he's been recently. Literal small changes in looks were all Shizuka needed to dissect his Captain's demeanor. Upon fully entering, he would simply look toward Higen's way and ask...
"You back?"
Simple words, but meaningful to Shizuka as he tried to assess his Captain's state of mind

Kiku would roll over until he found himself in some grass. Avoiding the shaking rage that became Rui. Once the back of his head had come to a rest on the lush green grass. He set his hands underneath his mop of white hair and peered at the male from Sixth Division. He would almost go cross eyed looking from him to Rui. She had looked ill all of a sudden. His eyebrows furrowed and then Kiku would sigh a little lighter. Tossing his legs up and then bringing them down he sprung back to his feet. " Huh, You look a little green there Rui. Why not take a seat in the shade. Captain Commander is probably expecting me to take a while longer. If you're feeling ill, i suppose i can play with this one for a while?"
Kiku would then shrug and walk over to Shusuke, Kiku would then hold out his hand with his fist closed. Expecting the Male shinigami to bump fists with him. Kiku would then put his free hand behind his head and smile, although it just looked like he was closing his eyes due to the half cowl. " Yo! My name is Kiku of the First Division, I'm The Janitor. You look tough, wanna train in this field i just cleaned up?"

Kiku was aloof and goofy and sloth like, Posing almost no threat at all. Kiku had no threatening demeanor about him in fact. He almost looked clueless as to where he even was. He pushed his hands back into his sleeves as usual and just... blinked ... at... Shusuke. Sometimes his eyes synced up but often they would blink one at a time. Kiku staring blankly behind the Shinigami in front of him. His eyes set on the clouds. So soft, So fluffy. ' What a beautiful day...' He would think, pondering all the best locations in the Seireitei that would be perfect for a nap. Yet, he had slept most of the day away before cleaning, and even got a cat nap in after that was done.
" you know, i could really use a good fight, always healthy to work up an appetite before you call it a day and go eat. Plus the naps after are really nice. " He nodded with that same closed eyed smile and motioned to move into the once proud Kuchiki Manor compound, reduced to an immaculate yard. This saddened Kiku especially. " There used to be so many nice spots to nap in that Manor before those freaks broke the law and got it blown up, Oh well." Walking beyond the gate once more Kiku would head out until about the center of the grassy field. Proceeding to stretch without taking his hands out of his sleeves, bending side to side then front to back. Even tilting his head sharply letting a loud CRACK pop in several bursts. Kiku would then nod to Rui hoping she would feel better soon. This made him wonder what made her sick, was it the food they had before in First Division.... or was it something she did to her self. The short shinigami was a mystery to Kiku but nonetheless he wouldn't want her to be sick for long.
" Hopefully this fight will take long enough to let you not look so green Rui, take some deep breaths. Maybe drink some water?" Kiku would then look back over to the male shinigami and shrug, awaiting his answer.

Ryuga-Divider.png

It was a completely normal morning at Seireitei and the sun would begin to rise over the 10th division barracks and the sunlight would shine straight through the window in Ryuga's room. The light would slowly move along the wall until it gets to Ryuga that is sitting in a classic meditation pose with the legs crossed and his hands on his Zanpakutō that is laying over his lap, and he sits with a straight back. And as he's breathing in so will his chest expands as the air flow in and fills his lungs and his eyes are both closed. From the outside it seems that he is only meditating, but in fact is Ryuga doing Jinzen (刃禅, Sword Meditation; Viz "Sword Zen") and he have been training the whole night with his Zanpakutō spirit Amikiri. And inside his mind is Ryuga in his inner world that is created within his mind, there he have trained for several hours with Amikiri. The inner world has the look of a abandoned massive colosseum under a pitch-black sky with only a few stars on it that can be seen and a full-moon above it. And the moon gives off a strong blue-ish light over the colosseum and the only two on the arena which is Ryuga and his Zanpakutō spirit Amikiri. There are several torches around the walls on the inside of the arena that breaks some of the moon light on arena. Ryuga is down on the sand ground of the arena with both his knees with a few cutting wounds over his body and his Shihakushō as he is breathing heavily trying to regain his breath from their long training. And in front of him stands Amikiri his Zanpakutō spirit that wears a skeletal mask that covers almost his entire face except below the upper lip. Over his body the spirit wears a tattered black hooded cloak and under the cloak Amikiri hides his both hands.
th

I have to admit that you are starting to improve Ryuga.
Amikiri's voice is deep and echoes faintly in the arena as he speaks to Ryuga.
.''At least you don't hold back anymore Amikiri.''
Even after all this time you think I ever hold back anything? As you grow, I grow.
.''If we grow together why am I the only one of us that gets hurt?''
I have taught you everything that I think you need to know and it is then up to you how you use that knowledge.
Ryuga finally gets his breath back and slowly pushing himself up from the sand and nods.
.''Yes I know you told me that before Amikiri.. next time it will not be the same.''
Until next time Ryuga.
Suddenly all the torches in the arena go out and the only thing that gives Ryuga the ability to see right now is the moon's light but also it is slowly disappearing making everything go darker until Ryuga stands completely alone in a darkness. Ryuga slowly closes his eyes as he will begin to smile by himself, doing this also ends the training for this time but he knows that he will be back soon. And when he opens his eyes again is Ryuga back in his room and the few cuts he received during the training is reflected in the real world but it is nothing that he thinks about.
Ryuga-Divider.png

After all those hours of training that have been going on the whole night with Amikiri, Ryuga feeling the tiredness coming closer by each passing second but he then catch sight of the morning sun. Ryuga raise up his right hand to cover his eyes from the sunlight and with his left hand will he pick up his sunglasses that he placed next to himself. Slowly he places them over his eyes so he can lower his right hand again and place it back on his Zanpakutō.
'' Next time Amikiri..''
Ryuga thought for himself as he places the buttcap of his Zanpakutō on the floor and uses it to push himself up easy from the said floor. And he then begin to dress himself in the classic Shihakushō that is worn by Shinigamis and as soon he is fully dressed would he move his neck to the right then left and a cracking sound can be heard from the neck as he does it.
. '' Several months have passed since I joined the 10th Division but I remember it like it was yesterday.''
While Ryuga stands alone thinking about the time that has passed, there is a knock on his door. And he turns slowly towards the door, waiting for whoever it is to open it.
Good morning! Ryuga-san you are up with the sun as usual I see!
''Good morning..''

Suddenly Ryuga's mind goes blank and he can't remember her name at the moment.
''Ch..ise?''
He takes a chance and hope that he said the right name to the lady.
“Why you pronounce my name as you would guess it Ryuga-san? Never mind that Captain Kagayaki is asking for you.”
Ryuga looks at Chise and nods slightly before the red-haired woman turns around and probably runs back to the captain.
''The captain wants something, I wonder what it might be?''
Slowly will Ryuga walk out of his room and closes the door behind him, looking at Chise who has started jogging towards Higen's office. And her footsteps are anything but silent as she jogs and Ryuga can't help it and lets out a small laugh before almost in a instant moves away. Using his tremendous raw strength in his legs Ryuga began running through the barracks and he making his way toward Higen's office. Running pass Chise that will just stop her little jogging and look back to see where Ryuga is but she will just see his door being closed and figure out it was him that passed her. Ryuga is not used to be called to Higen's office and he wasting no time as he almost fly into the office but stops at the door. With slow movements, Ryuga raises his arm and opens the door to Higen's office.
''Welcome back Captain! Chise told me that you wanted to see me?''
And when Ryuga takes the first step into the office, he see the 3rd Seat Shizuka already being at the office. Ryuga giving the 3rd Seat a friendly nod and then looking over at their Captain sitting at his desk with several papers lying on the floor.

Fuyuko was already well awake; tucked away inside her room seated at a desk shelved with an assortment of papers. It had long since become something of a routine to the Vice Captain. She’d chosen to start off early, in hopes of squaring away all matters to free up her time and attention for other things later on. Delicate fingers leaf through paper after paper — scanning through the various numbers of personnel, receipts, the Division’s budget and expenses, reports filed from those sent to Naruki City for patrols before finally reaching the one for recruits.
She pauses, her mind drifting in thought, recounting the bits and snippets of news she had heard those months ago involving that brief explosion of the Commander’s reiatsu all the way from the Southwest region of the Seireitei. Word of mouth had it that there was a ceremony taking place around Sixth Division, in the Kuchiki manor no less.
A new Captain to the 5th Division, Tenzen Oda. Shirogane Kuchiki — dead. Kuchiki Manor — in shambles. A Captain, A Lieutenant, and a Third Seat...the same third seat who she had fought to save and protect, in critical conditions. It was all so...so, overwhelming.
She shook her head as if the act alone would disperse the thoughts and realign her straying mind. SHe returns her focus to the paper before her, eyes locked onto one name in particular
Izanagi Kiyoshi
Former member of the 11th Division, transfered over to the Tenth. Granted 6th seat. Their ranks and numbers seemed to be filling up more and more. She lifted a brow, curious as to what brought about this change. Though Taichou was known for his strength, and to be loud and quite the fighter, the atmosphere of the 10th Division was definitely different from that of the 11th’s...so why change? Why now? With the failed alleged Coup of the 2nd Division, the supposed betrayal of Shirogane Kuchiki, she was growing more and more concerned about exactly who could and could not be trusted in the Seireitei. What if he joined with ulterior motives? Motives that could cause harm to Taichou, the Division or the Seireitei itself?
She subconsciously chewed her bottom lip anxiously. She closes her eyes...takes a breath, and continues to read.
Preparing to flip past the document something catches her eyes. She brings the paper closer, uncertain as to what she had read. She meticulously scans every letter, every word from top to bottom
SLAM
SHe slams the paper on the desk, rising to her feet, eyes shaking with disbelief. Izanagi had yet to awaken his Shikai? She couldn’t believe what she had read...and Taichou knew of this?
She checks the document, and sees her Captain’s signature and mark. He’d signed off on it, which meant he knew. Despite this knowledge he not only allowed for the transfer, but allowed him to hold the position of a seated officer? What was Taichou thinking? She reflects on the dangers of their job, the risk one takes when they scout the World of the Living. Her mind traces back to that moment with Third Seat Arashi, she vividly recalls his wounded form.
”Hnn..”
She ponders to herself. This was certainly a matter that needed to be addressed. Though she wouldn’t directly help him through sparring or fighting or anything of the sort, she needed to be on top of this situation. Regardless of his motives for joining, and any possible ulterior motives he was now a member of the 10th. They needed to increase their strength, and couldn’t afford any member to become a liability to themselves or the team.
She pushes the papers to the nearest corner, before stretching out. Pushing away from the desk she secures her zanpakuto as she rises to her feet. Securing it to her waist, she leaves behind her room to make her rounds — wandering the hallways, peeking in on the rooms in passing, giving them a once over in brief inspection. Those that saw her greeted her, she in turn returned the gesture. She stops one unseated member, tasking them with retrieving the completed paperwork still on her desk.
Make sure you swing by Taichou’s office and secure the paperwork from him as well please.”
Her voice, calm, gentle and encouraging as always. Though she appeared to be traveling aimlessly, she was in truth searching for that man...that, Izanagi character. She needed to stand before him, to be able to assess and judge with her own eyes. Perhaps only then, would she be able to discern how much trust he could be afforded.
If he was earnestly wishing to integrate with the Division, that would be fine, the matter settled — but — should she determine even an inkling of dishonesty, deceit...betrayal, she would act accordingly. Fuyuko never judged solely off what she heard or read, she needed to experience things for herself, to judge others on her own account.
She hoped for everyone’s sake, this man could be trusted. How terrible would it be, to share in the fate of one so noble after all? To live and breathe as a traitor…
And die as wretched scum
