Arashi stands on the roof of the Kuchiki manor, watching the unfolding of the scene below him. Even with his newfound power, he contributes nothing to the fight below. Knowing well that he is nothing but a liability, regardless of the fact that he now possesses his zanpakuto. His only true action is to avoid the incoming threat of the much more powerful Lieutenant Yasu’s Bankai. Afterwards, he does nothing but observe helplessly as Captain Oda’s Kido destroys the treacherous Shirogane from the inside out, as the self-made Vizard descends into the depths of the black ooze of Lieutenant Yugure’s Bankai.
”You don’t belong here.”
A voice cries out from the darkest depths of Arashi’s subconscious.
”You’re pathetic, and you don’t belong. Look at you, scared, useless. Did you really think you could ever be strong? HAHAHA don’t tell me you thought you actually improved, that you seriously thought you can contribute to anything.”
Suddenly, Arashi finds himself not within the confines of the Kuchiki Manor, but floating breathlessly in the void of endless space. His inner world. Yet something wasn’t right. Not a single star shines, causing the Third Seat to see nothing but darkness, robbed of his own vision. Without regulating his spiritual pressure, he would find himself unable to breath, and find his body beginning to freeze in the cold vacuum of space.
“The only thing you’re good for is being saved by those with real strength. You ought to go back to bullying fourth and fifth seats, that's the only chance you’ll ever get to feel anything but incomptent.”
Suddenly, he sees a single speck of white. A distant star? No...it appears to be moving. Squinting his devilish eyes, Arashi can make out the slightest blur of a figure, a person. Could it be Hoshizora? No, where Hoshizora emitted a divine and glamorous golden glow, this entity was cold, lifeless. Hoshizora is the life giving warmth of a star and this....stranger, within Arashi’s innermost world, is a desolate and barren moon.
“Really, what you ought to do...”
The figure, unburdened, walks casually across the nothingness, where Arashi can only float, suspended in black without foot or hand hold. Then, the figure disappears from sight, seemingly fading into the void around them. Where are the stars, where is Hoshizora?
A voice whispers into Arashi’s ear, the coldness of his breath more chilling than the vacuum of space.
”...Is let me take over from here.”
The figure reappears now, standing before Arashi within the void of his inner world. In his hand, the stranger clutches a dormant and submissive Hoshizora, blade drawn and ready to strike. The blade begins to glow, casting light on the otherwise shrouded and obscure figure as he approaches the suspended Arashi. His clothes reflect Arashis, though their colors seem to have been inverted. Is this an arrancar? Some foreign invader terrorizing the confines of Arashi’s mind? No….as his final step towards the suspended Shinigami reveals, the stranger’s face is….why its that of Arashi's himself.
“I think it’s someone else's turn, don’t you?”

Upon the rooftop of Kuchiki Manor, Arashi Suta falls to his knees. He begins to cough violently, hacking up blood from the mouth of his mask, which splatters a blackened dark red across the fine tiles. From his mouth, a white foam starts to pour out, seeping through the crevices of his mask. This cloud of foam seems to have a life of its own. Rather than fall harmlessly to the floor, it coagulates into tendrils, then spreads to engulf the entirety of Arashi’s body. His skin begins to pale and harden, his hair begins to grow down to his shoulders, his joints pop and his bones ache as his arms start to elongate. It feels as if the entirety of his body is being torn apart, like every cell of his being is melted and reformed. Yet, as with every situation he has found himself in to date, he remains helpless to stop it. Unable to control his own body, unable to even perceive the world around him. He remains trapped in his inner world, a victim to the power he has come to embrace.

Claustrophobic, that is the only way to describe Yasu’s current state of mind. She finds herself, submerged deep within the black lagoon of her inner world. Only her head remains above the black tar, enough to note the trees of the surrounding swamp and recognize where she is, but not enough to comfortably breath. The massive moss-ridden swamp feels as though it is growing, encroaching upon Yasu. The denseness of the surrounding trees reflecting those of her own bankai, as they blot out any source of light.
What is most troubling however, is the figure before her, standing unimpeded upon the marshy black water as though it were solid ground.
“Now that was fucking fun!
Another Yasu, similar to the true Yasu and yet slightly different in appearance. This familiar woman also appears to be made of inverted colors, and her hair is much longer than Yasu’s current style.
“Don’t you think so, loser?”
She walks towards Yasu, cracking her neck from side to side with an audible and vicious crunch. Stretching her arms as she does so, as though warming up for some violent encounter.
“Ya’ know….no one takes you seriously.”
This Hollow-like figure approaches the submerged Yasu, grabbing her by the head. She clutches a handful of pink in her cold, marble-like grasp, yanking Yasu from the water by her hair, until the Lieutenant hangs limp at eye level.
A sinister smile creeps across the figure’s face, her golden eyes staring, hungry, into Yugure’s soul.
”You really want to be a Captain, loser? That’s a fucking JOKE! YOU’RE A FUCKING JOKE!”
In a powerful explosion of movement, the Hollow would slam Yasu face first into the trunk of the nearest tree. Not releasing her grip, she pulls back and does it again, then again, and again. Splinters, fragments, and chunks of wood fly through the air, as Yugure’s head forms a crater in the base of the tree. The Hollow never seems to rellent, laughing maniacally as she does so, until the tree trunk cracks, no longer able to support itself, and plummets down into the marsh below. Blood and black ooze splatter across the Hollow’s vicious smile, and it is only then that she drops Yugure’s limp body.
”Do you hear me you little shit?! YOU’LL NEVER AMOUNT TO ANYTHING! WITHOUT ME, ALL YOU ARE IS SOMETHING FOR THE TRULY STRONG TO POINT AND LAUGH AT! A LOSER, A JOKE, A WEAKLING, WHO WILL NEVER ESCAPE HER CAPTAIN’S SHADOW!”
No longer laughing, the Hollow screams in anger, her wicked smile turning into a sinister grimace. She places a foot upon Yasu’s skull, and uses her heel to grind the Lieutenant's face into the thick tar-like liquid, suffocating her. Drowning the Lieutenant, the Hollow’s anger persists as another smile cracks across her face.
”But don’t worry loser, ‘cus I’m here now.”

Immersed in the darkness of her Bankai, Yasu’s physical body begins its metamorphosis. Losing all function, all cognitive thought, the Lieutenant pays the price for her boost in power. From the pores of her skin, white tendrils of bone begin to twist and turn. They slither from her flesh, encasing her body. She begins to convulse, her back violently contorting. Her fingers rapidly expand, growing to a sharp point, as each of her ten digits transforms into a vicious blade. A tail of white sprouts from behind her, composed of bone, it swirls in the air. Low gutteral sounds escape her mask, sounding deeper and more beautiful than anything Yugure could previously emit. Her spiritual pressure spikes, and the tar around her begins to boil.

"WOOOOOOO! Now we’re TALKING! AHAHAHAHA That felt GREAT didn’t it?! We just fucking OBLITERATED that treacherous piece of shit!”
Tenzen finds himself sitting harmlessly on the surface of a calm and peaceful lake. His legs crossed, his eyes shut, as though in a meditative state. Yet, his reflection across the surface of the water tells a different story. Where the sky above Tenzen is sunny and clear, the sky reflected in the water is stormy and dark. What’s worse, reflected where Tenzen’s visage should be, is instead an inverted image of the Captain. This inner-Hollow twirls, excitedly clapping his hands together to pump himself up, before he howls, ecstatic. Still, the Hollow’s pleased expression immediately changes when he realizes he is being ignored by the Captain.
"Ya know, it’s rude to ignore people! WHY ARE YOU SUCH AN AWKWARD BASTARD?!”
At first he is enraged, his pure unadulterated anger fueled by his spiritual pressure, causing the calm surface of the water to ripple violently. Then, catching himself, the Hollow runs a hand through his hair, slicking it back, as he forms a malicious grin.
"It’s cool, yeah, it’s cool. You’ll get it…I’ll just have to beat it into you, and that’s FINE BY ME!”
The Hollow reaches out, his pale hand rapidly breaching the surface of the water to clutch Tenzen’s foot. His grip tears into Tenzen’s flesh like a bear trap, before violently yanking him below the water. The force of his pull is enough to send Tenzen plummeting down into the deepest depths of the lake with the speed of a torpedo, until he crashes, breathless, against the bottom. It is only now that the Captain may notice that the lakebed is not composed of simple dirt and muck, but of hundreds of decomposing bodies. The corpses of his victims, every soul he has ever extinguished throughout the course of his violent life.
”Come on. COME ON. Admit it. You love it. You love this. You fucking loooooove this.”
Before Tenzen can muster the power to start swimming to the surface, he feels another cold hand clutch at his ankle. Recovering from the assault, Tenzen turns to face his attacker, and finds himself face to face with the rotting remains of Shirogane Kuchiki. He is not alone, as the hundreds of corpses spring to life, they swim rapidly with what little of their bodies remain, flocking to swarm Tenzen. They surround the Captain and tug at his clothes, grabbing what flesh they can they tear at his arms and legs, hoping to rip him apart.
The Captain isn’t the only one to face such a swarm. As these reanimated victims flock to the Hollow Tenzen as well. However, the inner-Hollow only laughs, Kokūzō in hand, he gleefully swipes at and swats away any oncoming corpse, mercilessly tearing through them. He grabs one by the head, flinging it at the mob that surrounds Tenzen, before laughing as he kicks another’s head completely off.
“It can be like this forever ya know. You want it. I want it. SO LET’S MAKE IT HAPPEN! What are you even doing, playing Captain? Do you even KNOW what you’re doing? Does anyone even like you? Of course not, look at you, pathetic.”
The previously clear water now diffuses to a cloudy red, the blood of Hollow Tenzen’s victims limiting visibility as he hacks and tears through the mob gripping true Tenzen. This bloody brackish does not seem to stop the pale figure, just as the water doesn’t seem to hinder his ability to move or speak. Yet, all Tenzen can see are the dead hands of the victims that swarm him, and the red of their blood. That is, until a flash of white crosses his eyes, just as a sharp pain would connect with his jaw. The Hollow Tenzen delivers a fearsome uppercut to the Captain’s head, sending him flying once more like a torpedo, up and out of the water.
Just as Tenzen breaches the water and soars into the air, Hollow Tenzen fizzles into sight, his arm thrusting out to catch the Captain by his face, not unlike how he had been trapped by Shirogane. Only this time, there was no kido that could save him.
“Now…”
Hollow Tenzen parts his fingers, allowing the Captain to see out of only one eye. His inner world no longer composed of peaceful waters and calm skies, but of a corpse-filled lake of blood overcasted by a storm cloud of pure black. It did not matter however, as all Tenzen would be able to focus on is the smiling face of his doppelganger, glaring eagerly into the Captain’s eyes.
“...look at ME.”

Captain Tenzen Oda, the last to resist his transformation. His balanced mind and peaceful soul thrust into turmoil, no longer conscience. His spiritual pressure bubbles and boils, lighting aflame with a black and gold light. He throws his body back violently, twisting at an angle that would break any normal soul’s spine. Screaming in pain, several clawed hands composed of white bone grow from his rib cage. They extend, developing into fully functional limbs as they bend and make contact with the ooze-covered ground. Then, these clusters of limbs lift, to suspend Tenzen’s body into the air, each moving on their own to form the twisted likeness of a centipede. His head jerks back suddenly, the skull-like jaw opening, to emit an ear shattering Vagido.
“ROOOOOOOOOOOAR!”
The very foundations of the Kuchiki Manor shake, as the walls of the structure crack under such pressure. This beastly roar’s power is enough to cause the black ooze of Yasu’s bankai to ripple, forcing back the substance for six feet around Tenzen, until his roar ends and the ooze comes flooding back.

Each of these Shinigami heroes find themselves locked in an internal conflict with their inner demons. They had thought this fight already won with Shirogane's defeat. However, they had come to rely on a power far beyond their understanding, and infinitely beyond their ability to control. Now, each of them paid the price for power, their bodies transformed to monsters, their very souls battling for dominance. In defeating the Pride of the Kuchiki, they had lost the Aku Hachi Hakkō, and in the process, lost themselves. What would they do now, with no true enemy to defeat, no plan to thwart, no one to save but themselves? Would their metamorphosis reach its completion, irreversibly transforming them to Hollows? As each of them gives in to their monstrous urges, they would need to feed, and as there was nothing but corpses and ooze around to consume, they would undoubtedly resort to devouring one another. The barrier which once protected Soul society, now serves as a cage confining the animals that these shinigami have become. In this way Shirogane was fortunate to meet his end.
At least his fate was certain.

Himari felt a wave of uneasiness as she felt the Familiar wave of Reiatsu from her captain, one of the only thing Himari herself was very good at. Yes, she wasn’t good at wilding her Zan without causing a scene, but Reiatsu’s she was able to pick up. And even know the differences between them to tell whom it was. But, something about this situation made the young blue-haired girl uneasy.
She was hoping to try to get the girl, Oyama, to maybe stay by their side. But before she could voice anything to the girl, she was already walking away. Himari then turned back to the blind whom she had been left alone with as he spoke.
“That’s girls gonna get herself killed. Might want to just stay back here…”
She quickly felt worried and turned to the direction the girl had been walking. She didn’t want to stay there. She wanted to make sure the girl was alright.
Before she voiced this, however, the blond spoke again.
“Himari lets split up. Can you put a backup barrier around this one? Not only will it improve its defense. But it will also further prevent people from coming inside…..”
That was the main thing of his talking she caught and she nodded. She hasn’t performed a barrier spell, and she was a little nervous but she quickly knew which one she could possibly use.
But, before she could carry on, someone came over to them. She didn’t know this man's name but she felt from the spiritual pressure he had to be in a higher rank thank herself, as she hardly even had a seat in her squad yet. She quickly cast her eyes down as Katsuo introduced her, and she was thankful. She knew his coming here could only mean one thing, she didn’t want to let herself be heard until whatever this is was to be done.
As he spoke, a shiver went down her spine as he spoke. He was right, they could be arrested. His words were harsher than none really, because what were they supposed to do? Was Himari supposed to just sit and figure out about her captain before it was too late? Were they going to sit and stand like statues? Himari felt a bit of anger flash through her eyes, but she said nothing.
This man was right. They did walk into the middle of a mission but he could have announced that a little nicer.
As he retained the blond, she let them without a fight. As much as she wanted to say something, she didn't want to cause a scene on her first outing out of the 5th. But it still wasn’t fair. She couldn’t believe this. But, again. She said nothing.

Here he stands...
Wielding a power, he had no will to ask for. No choice given to where he could decide his own fate. However, there is no mistaken the fact. It felt pretty damn good. No pain, no feeling of helplessness, no struggle to obtain a sense of dominance. Yes, yes, yes! It felt so damn good!
But...
It is not who he is. His character did not revolve around such feelings. Such emotions nor such power. He stands still, watching through eyes that are not his own. These eyes, they did not belong to Arashi Suta. This is how he feels even now. From the battle below as the life of Shirogane Kuchiki begins to meet its end, his gaze only lands upon Hoshizora. Not a noise, not a call to him, she instead remains silent. Why? Something is wrong here... His hand finally moves towards his face, touching the mask that now coves it. Yet another moment, his eyes widened once again...
"What have I become?"
A question without an answer. It is futile for Arashi to even ask. His voice had changed, as if some device had been placed into his throat... His ears could not believe such a sound and to further this feeling, his eyes would close tightly as the tips of his fingers presses against his mask. By now, Shirogane Kuchiki has perished, whisked away by the might of both Captain Oda and Lieutenant Yugure. Their might just as wild as his own, but they of course held a force stronger than his own. That is no surprise...
Before his eyes could open once again, a voice, unknown to him. It travels from the darkest depths of his mind. Yet it reached him so easily as this being was standing right next to him...
”You don’t belong here.”
"What?"

Shaken by this, the voice continued...
”You’re pathetic, and you don’t belong. Look at you, scared, useless. Did you really think you could ever be strong? HAHAHA don’t tell me you thought you actually improved, that you seriously thought you can contribute to anything.”

My Inner Demon.
cb5d731ba7f7264a124daa037d992f97.png

Laughing, insulting him, tearing at the improvement that he thought he had gained. No matter what, his strength would never be enough. Suddenly, he mentality drifted, but his eyes would open. Instead of finding the roof of the manor, Captain Oda or even Lieutenant Yugure, he finds nothing but darkness. His innermost plain, an existence where only he himself can travel. Or so that is what he believes. Now he finds difficulty, a struggle that he had not experienced for a very long time. Unable to move, unable to breath, but his eyes remain functioning yet there is no light, no stars in sight. What has happened to his world? This space has been tainted, taken, someone or something has invaded his personal escape from reality. The voice that now speaks to him, was it they, he?!
Frozen, muscles taunt unable to loosen. Floating, seemingly endless no where to stand or grab onto something. Oh how he remembers such a struggle when he first attempted to awaken his Shikai... Nostalgia which is soon erased by more of this being's constant talk.
“The only thing you’re good for is being saved by those with real strength. You ought to go back to bullying fourth and fifth seats, that's the only chance you’ll ever get to feel anything but incompetent.”
His words like blades, cutting and slashing at his soul, his spirit, his mentality. Clearly, this being aimed to break Arashi's own will. To crack his discipline and to bring him a doubt that could keep him from ever being saved. It is true though, Arashi has spent days being saved by others. Even the first time, a Soul Reaper had come to his rescue. The same event happened again, against Sword Eater, Lieutenant Kasumi coming to his rescue. Would their be a third time? Arashi's eyes closed once again, and for a moment he let those words resonate. He had no response... They opened to find a glimmer of light and just for a second, he would be excited. Further proving the being's point here, he hoped for the arrival of Hoshizora to help him... To be there in his time of need.
But, Arashi wouldn't feel that same warmth he always felt. He didn't see that golden light she normally exhibits. Instead he felt a cold and lifeless presence. Barren and deserted, nothing to give, but has come to take... Take away everything he had strive so hard to protect and survive for. His future held with in the fingers of this being that now approaches. His head managed to move, to get a better view. His eyes completely open, the smile he always had, is far gone now. This has become his darkest moment, far more than what he has experienced before.
“Really, what you ought to do...”
The being continued, still his approach goes uninterrupted. Still no stars appear. Still no Hoshizora. With every step this being takes, its as if his heart starts to beat even faster... Is this fear? Is this the feeling of helplessness once again? Is this the feeling of doubt? Had he already lost the will to fight...? His cold breath, reaching into his ears, spewing tentacles that tickle at his thoughts and emotions. His goal, still not clear to Arashi yet... Why is he he-
”...Is let me take over from here.”
"Take. Over?"

Now, it becomes clear. Arashi begins to understand now, the motives, the words! The figure disappears only to close the distance even further. In his hand, he holds Hoshizora, already drawn. What has he done to her? A noticeable anger fills his face, an emotion he has not displayed ever before. His hand clenched tightly, and even around Hoshizora that even he himself still holds. Clothed just as a Shinigami, but colored white. As the final step occurs there Arashi finds that it is himself that he looks upon. Distraught, baffled, he couldn't believe what he is seeing.
“I think it’s someone else's turn, don’t you?”
A smile, so bright, but a brightness that extends to something far more evil. Far more sinister. The thirst for control, behind cold eyes and a deadly grin.

Hollowication! Rise a Hollow, Fall a Shinigami?!
cb5d731ba7f7264a124daa037d992f97.png

What would feel like hours, only seconds pass as the reality now seeps into view. Arashi had collapsed. Seemingly broken, he begins to cough up blood, but it wasn't just blood that would exit the maw that is his mask, with it came a white foam or substance that never touches the ground. Instead it expands and whips into tendrils that engulfs his body. His skin indeed begins to harden as it grows ever pale in comparison to his natural complexion. His hair no longer staying short, but extends to lengths that touches his shoulder. His joints popping, changing, aching. The word pain wouldn't begin to announce the torment his body experiences even now, but among this transformation, he stands fully. The mouth of his mask opening to a oval, where no light is seen. As a golden glow envelopes his hollowed frame, a pillar of darkness explodes from him, outlined by the glow that once surrounded him. His spiritual pressure releasing shock waves, as even the creature once known as Arashi Suta of squad 13 awakens with a might roar! His Zanpakuto clenched with in its grasp as the foundation begins to shake beneath his own feet. The barrier being blasted by none other than its hollowed might. Will it break? Will it shatter glass, or will the barrier hold and contain the monstrosity that is Arashi Suta.

Arashi vs Arashi! Severance or Control!
cb5d731ba7f7264a124daa037d992f97.png

"Nothing to say? What? To scared to speak? To helpless? Yea, I know all to well of what a pathetic insect you are. But don't worry, you wont have to worry about being helpless. No more doubt, no more fear, no more being saved by others. You will- Well, I will have the power to make sure you will never feel that pain ever again"
Words twisted and formed to make it as thought this demon was doing this for his own benefit, but no, Arashi could not stand for this. He could not! He needed to fight, he needed to stand up! As he struggles, his Hollowed version strikes with a kick to the side of Arashi, sending him across the air. Combined with force, Arashi winced in pain, but suddenly, he was able to recover, breaking free of the ice that easily once before began to cover his body. Able to find his footing with in his inner world. Able to stand and face this alternate version of himself. The Hollowed Arashi only laughs in spite of his resistance.
"Hahahahaha! Look at you, even when you stand up you look like your falling! How can you wield such a power with all that fear and doubt! Your're an eye-sore, a speck of dust in this world!"
Standing fully, coherent, but his mind growing more and more our of place. He spoke as if he understood the pressure that his life brought him. Even since the time he spent with in the Rukongai... Alone, afraid, helpless, his own power wasn't enough, no matter how hard he trained. No matter how hard he fought to eat and sleep somewhere comfortable every night. A trouble past, one that he had thought he escaped even when he joined the Soul Society. So, is he right? Did he really believe himself to be this way? His eyes dropped, his grip loosening some upon Hoshizora...
However, such a moment of weakness would not slip by the Hollowfied Arashi. His smile only grew and his advancement hasten by the thrill to totally wreck the likes of this pathetic excuse of a Soul reaper.
"I can feel you slipping! Yeeeeeeeeeeeessss!"
A slithering snake, a festering viper, his speed is like no other. Off instinct his approached pressed the likes of Arashi, gaining and once close he revealed a vicious downward slash of his version of Hoshizora. Seeing this, Arashi made his attempt at blocking, raising the still sheathed Zanpakuto as the other hand presses against the other side to further reinforced the block that intercepts said strike. Soarks fly, but to no avail was Arashi Suta able to press back against. Overpowering force, the hollowfied Arashi sends him back, but it did not end there...
The assault continues further, engaging Arashi like a raged animal, swinging and slash against every block he manage to put forth. Nothing, not an opening is revealed for Arashi to take advantage, for every strike seemed to grow ever more powerful. By now the darkness of his inner world is lit with sparks as their weapons clash numerous times!
"Mmf! Tuuh! Gahhh," he grunts and struggles to defend himself.
"Helpless! Helpless! Helpless! Weak! Weak! Weak! You are trash Arashi! You are below everyone else that has saved you!"
The pressure grows, the strikes becoming faster and sharper. His blocks becoming slower and weaker by the second... Untill finally...
SWOOOOOOOSH
A splash a blood exits Arashi's torso, his Shihakusho torn in a diagonal fashion from his left shoulder to his right hip. A long gash decorating his skin, blood now staining his clothing... Reeling backwards, one eye closing, but the other still looking for focus. Still trying to catch the motions of his Hollowed self. However, his inner demon resorts to Hakuda, striking Arashi with a kick to his abdomen. Spit flaying from his mouth, blood now staining the white shihakusho of the Hollowed Arashi.
"Damn this was my favorite outfit... Hahahahaha! Yea, just give up... Let me take over. Be rid of all this pain and sufferring. Its my turn to Let-uh-RIP! Hahahahahaha!"
Kneeling, Hoshizora now used as a crutch to keep himself from collapsing further. His hair obscuring his vision for the moment, but even now he still managed to look up. Huffing and puffing, short of breath, the kick having knock the air from his body. At least, he managed to breath and regulate his spiritual pressure, but Arashi could feel what he felt. His control slipping, his hold over his Zanpakuto fading. His soul being corrupted, tainted...
"No..."
Once again, his gaze fell, his eyes would close...
209484e5c90773c67a6c3ad93bf1b0a9.png

AhKAkAha!"
That laugh, is all too familiar... Prompting a rise of his head and the widening of his eyes. The scenery has changed. His subconscious clearly taking over briefly.
"Sword Eater? The Human World? Is he doing this?"
"HaKaKAAh! Talking about yourself in third person! You must be really losing it! No matter time to eat you and that fabulous sword! That bastard Lieutenant wont come to save you this time!"

His mind playing tricks on him. Furthering feeding into the theme of his nightmare. Helpless and afraid... The blades from Sword Eater sprouts in rapid succession and in such a high volume it would seem impossible for Arashi to block them all, so instead he avoids them, rolling away, dodging as much as he can. His clothing being torn and ripped. His body being littered in cuts, staining those blades with his blood. Sword Eater could only lick his lip as he rushes over, prancing and dancing. Drool falling from his maw as his beating eyes stare in hunger.
"EEEEEEAAAAAAAT"
As Sword Eater approached, gripping his head with in the palm of his hands, lifting the failed Shinigami from the ground. Arashi's eyes closed, unable to prevent the occurring event. His life once again, seemingly flashing before his eyes. Then, the scenery changed once again, like the flick of a light-switch... His Hollowed version presents to him a knee to his face, sending him into the air, before he would use a Shunpo to strike Arashi once again with an elbow to his chest cavity, sending Arashi flying downward at an extraordinary force, though he managed to catch himself, creating yet another foot hold for his feet to be placed. Arriving via another flash-step. His Hollowed version rests Hoshizora against his shoulder...
"Tsk, tsk, Arashi Arashi. A broken toy, forgotten and thrown away."
"Shut up..."

At his hands and knees, slowly, Arashi begins to stand up...
cb5d731ba7f7264a124daa037d992f97.png

As the Hollow continues to roar, now appears a yellow light forming with in the center of his mouth. Particles of his of light rushing inward as if he was eating it, but in reality they are fueling the growth of a cero... With relentless force, uninterpreted power, an unstoppable monster releases a mighty blast towards the blooming flowers and the barrier it self. The aim to blast a hole and totally destroy the barrier!

He was going to answer Shusuke as to what he was doing here exactly, which was looking for Arashi Suta, when the priestess restrained him, as did other members of the kido corps. He had to think he had this coming… he did break their orders, but for good intentions.
"what?! This is dumb, you're going to need every able bodied Shinigami to help evacuate people from here aren't you?! I just stood here offering my help! Damn i even mentioned how we should do what you've just said!"
Of course he was mad. Nobody was listening however not even the priestess. It was annoying… to want to be able to help, to do so much but people doubting you can. Now he felt his future might be dark. He didn't want to go to the Maggots Nest… he wanted to help people. He felt like a scared little kid again, closing his eyes wishing this wasn't happening.
It was… and Eiko, she was over there… away from him. She couldn't tell him everything was going to be alright. He hoped Tenzen was alright in there… he wished he could unrestrain himself from the kido before him and help his brother… Arashi… he hated this feeling of utter powerlessness, the more the restricted movement bothered him, the more of his own Reiatsu he released. He was fighting the restraints. If they wouldn't listen to his pleas to want to help… they'd have to listen to his power.. even if it labeled him a criminal, he would try to save lives.
Katsuo's Reiatsu burst, like it did that day so many years ago. He remained restrained, but for how long? His energy was steadily rising. In the hand of the person that took Katsuo's Zanpakuto, they could feel the blades vibrate violently before he actually managed to stand up, fighting back against the priestess' restraints.
"Let… me…. Out…"
Honestly, this would be the first time Katsuo was getting angry with anyone higher up in the rankings than he was. He wanted to help, and like hell he would sit idly by as people died… Arashi and his own brother included. He wanted to do what he was meant to do while still able bodied… save as many lives as he could. He couldn't do that if they restricted his movement.
Butting heads wasn't the best solution out of this situation but it was the only one he knew. People were going to die… they were fighting on the inside of that barrier, if people stayed they will die too. He blinked and looked up upon seeing Shusuke go for Oya, and turned his head toward Himari whom was still free.
"Himari! Wait before you go looking for Oyama. there's something I have to tell you! Oyama's not her usual self today! Something's been wrong with her, that's why i was looking for Arashi, our third seat, he's in there."
Of course he was angry, but there was really nothing he could do at this point other than warn Himari about Furia. He would have warned Shusuke too but the guy just darted off. Though, Kido was kido… gah he hated it when Kyoki and Tenzen would freeze his movement like this during training.. he didn't know, and still doesn't, how to break most kido… this higher one definitely.. though Sai was a bit easier When they did that one… these felt like complete overkill to a guy that barely knew Kido at all.
"priestess lady....please… my brother and present squad leader are both in there, I just want to help them! Help you protect and save them if i can, please! Let me go!"
He'd say shaking his head. He sighed after the warning. Was he really going to jail because he wanted to help? What kind of shit was that? Shinigami were always about protocol… so much that often times it pisses Katsuo off. He did understand the importance behind protocol, it wasn't that he didn't. It was only some things protocol shouldn't be necessary, if a Shinigami comes to the priestess and offers assistance in any way, she should welcome it.
"heh…sorry bro looks like a really did mess up this time..
He'd say quietly to himself. Three months of training his Hakuda and Zanjutsu… it still didn't make much of a difference. It felt as if his dream was fleeting at this point. Making the soul Society a heaven like they claim it to be… making his clan proud.. Tenzen and Katsuo both wanted to do that. One was just, so much farther ahead than the other.
black oozy shadow tar… was all he could see within the barrier now… he only hoped Tenzen and Arashi were okay. He gritted his teeth with anger, not being able to know if they were fine or not frustrated him beyond measure.
"Ten… Arashi, please make it okay…? I can't go through it again… don't make me loose everyone I care about again!"
He tightened his eyes and clenched his fists, lowering his head to hide the tears of anger and sadness. It gave him mad post traumatic stress, the anticipation and anxiety, not knowing if Tenzen and Arashi were alright. It's not that he doubted their strength. The strength he doubted was his own… could he withstand it if they had died, and he was just sitting here doing nothing? Sure, he knew if he went in he'd not come out either.. but maybe his sacrifice would save one of them. It was a risk Katsuo was willing to take, even if he wanted to live. Katsuo was a man… that let love fuel his actions. If it made him a fool, so be it.
His love was fueling his Reiatsu as it climbed to even greater heights, perhaps higher than Oyama and even Arashi has ever felt it rise. He was struggling, straining himself to break the binds and get free. The man holding Eikōgitsune could probably feel both blades shaking to the energy Katsuo was emitting, making the area feel statically charged, super charged like a battery.
"TENZEEEEEN! ARASHIIII!"
Of course they probably wouldn't be able to hear him, but they could probably feel him. He kept his energy awakened even after seeing more smoke arise and the barrier shake. Was something trying to get out? He would stay and watch from his position, hoping beyond all hope, one of them would be seen, and he'd be assured they were okay. Only one way to get out of this mess now. Distract Shusuke, or try, to let Oya get away, one chance. Hopefully she'd take his que alright.
All of the energy he worked up trying to get out, he directed straight at the 6th Division member, who'd get heavy from the pressure, but also, upon looking back at Katsuo if he did, would feel tremendous fear, as if the devil himself was staring through his soul. If the man was trapped or pinned by Katsuo's spiritual pressure it would give Oya a chance to flee. Hopefully she'd use it. She was his only chance now. If she could control Furia long enough…. He hoped she could.

He watched carefully as he waited for the response from his prey. Admittedly, he hoped she would just let her sword down and just allow herself to make a new bed at the Maggot’s Nest, truth be told Shu didn’t even want that for her. But that is most certainly where she is now ending up. He felt an energy...a different reiatsu that seemed like it belonged to another entity in the area...but it was being emitted from the woman before him. He took note of her spiritual pressure prior to engagement, it had taken a wild change in this short period of time. Shusuke felt she had chosen the latter decision of running away from the law enforcement, a legendary tactic known to various guilty individuals everywhere, this forced Shusuke to be intensely forward with the apprehension of this woman. Grunting, he watched her perform what she would call a shunpo and take several quick dashes backward, having taken her blade from its sheath on the third step. He decided to make his move then and there. Watching closely, and noticing her eyes shift from him to her surroundings, taking note of the priestesses in and around her person to see when they would act, she forgot however that it was Shusuke for her to be focused on. Seemingly taking a single step forward, he would then vanish just as quickly.

He moved quickly as she would begin to relax herself after creating a larger distance, only for it to be closed within the same span of it being created. Rapidly reappearing directly behind Oyama, En’enra withdrawn from its scabbard while closing the gap. He faced opposite her body, back toward her. He took his right hand, holding his zanpakuto and extending his index finger pointing it behind him directly at the left shoulder of the female shinigami. Just as quickly, he spoke simple but violent words.
”Hado #4, Byakurai.”
Almost immediately, a large blue stream of pale white lighting is released from the fingertip of the dark haired Shinigami, aimed for the shoulder of the strange woman, it would be a very tight window for her escape from this kido at such short range. He would hope to burn a hole directly through her shoulder and lessen her resolve to continue her foolhardy escape plan. However, he felt a sudden rise in random spiritual energy being emitted from down below the courtyard of his barracks, it threw off his attention to the trajectory of the kido just enough for his fingers to move ever so slightly from its original mark. Trying to hold his focus on his quarry behind him, he figured it was coming from the sorry individual below who was detained for being somewhere he wasn't allowed. Attempting to help his friend get away from his own failures, Shusuke was not about to let that be a situation where he let someone get away. As he felt the shift in aim of his finger he suddenly released more reiatsu suddenly to enhance the thickness of the beam. Assuming that she still fails to remove herself from the blasts impact, her shoulder and arm could very easily be severed through cleanly with a large chunk of her shoulder missing.
