Notable Features:
Clothing (Non-Uniform) - For non-uniform attire, Yosuke wears a fine made silken kimono. The kimono he wears displays a multitude of colors black, violet, purple, and a darker shade of purple. These are a few of Yosuke favorite colors, the most liked being Violet. The patterns are weaved in and out with intricate design by flawless precision that took a great time, skill, and dedication to create his favored outfit. He wears a purple neck scarf that is layered and trail back down to his ankles, along with a "drape" if you will in a similar color and fashion only that drapes down from across his shoulders down to the front side of his ankles. Finally, he wears a translucent and enchanted Hagoromo that seems to "float" around him His long purple hair is partially kept up in his ponytail which flows down to his lower back, along with adorning a ginpaku kazahana no uzuginu or silver-white windflower scarf with is Uniform as well as Non-Uniform attire. Typically only heads of the Kuchiki family wear the scarf along with kenseikan. However, Yosuke wears his scarf to distinguish him as nobility from the Kuchiki family when meeting with other squads, and or their Lieutenants given the fact that most squads aren't always working with one another. This is a way for Yosuke to set himself apart from other shinigami he might come into contact with.

Personality:
The Neurotic -
In modern terms, Yosuke could be considered to be slightly neurotic, though not in dangerous quantities. Yosuke is highly success-driven. He is also somewhat reserved, preferring the company of a select few to that of the many. Over time, he has learned to suppress this quality when required, though at his most 'base' level the reserved quality is still present. Though this aloof nature would almost seem to be a contradiction to this, he has a tendency to desire to be seen in a positive light which is why he opens up and becomes more laid back when he becomes more comfortable around people. It is this trait that leads him to perform generous actions and to take time out of his schedule to aid others when he can. This trait also makes him incredibly diplomatic, and he prefers to settle disputes by negotiation rather than by the drawing of his blade when practical.

The Perceptive -Yosuke's greatest traits are his intellect and capability to learn. His curiosity extends to a great number of subjects, and it does not take him long to understand topics that he truly sets his mind to. That being said, he is also incredibly perceptive, being able to 'pick apart' minor details and test their significance to the matter at hand with relative ease. Even as much as he enjoys learning and studying everything around him, Yosuke also enjoys teaching and does so whenever he has downtime from his duties. This studious nature also has the impact of making him quite a curious individual even in situations wherein curiosity might not be appropriate.

The Compassionate - Yosuke is somewhat of an oddity as far as most members of the Kuchiki clan act. True he does have a profound sense of justice and dignity about him. While he does maintain many personality traits that are customary of the Kuchiki clan he is extremely compassionate and is not afraid to show his compassion particularly for those within his division. He does not see the members of his squad as simply shields against the never-ending hordes of Hollows. Rather he views each as a member of his family and would gladly do his all to protect them from harm. He is incredibly personal with those within his division and takes great lengths to make sure that they are well cared for and looked after.

The Cold - Many of the aforementioned personalities are states of mind that Yosuke must be in to truly reflect the overall description of each personality. It is not so much as a personality disorder as everyone's personality fluctuates between their moods and the circumstances thrust upon them. Yosuke is no exception to this. In particular, when he is extremely enraged, threatened, or something to this degree whatever the triggering event may be will simply depend on the situation at hand. However, if Yosuke ever enters into the personality trait which so codenames the Cold, whoever is near will instantly be able to feel this shift in personality. Firstly his eyes, Yosuke's eyes will change from their usually upbeat or somewhat serious tone to those he likes to call the eyes of a killer, or manslayer. His eyes are cold and piercing filled with murderous intent. Typically when showing this side of his personality so to will he steadily release his Reiatsu into the atmosphere affecting the weather which can decrease the immediate temperature around the vicinity and cause a creeping mist like fog to creep around lowly on the ground within the area. Yosuke does not like being in this mind state at all and actively avoids doing so. It is true that strength can come from emotions and Yosuke can definitely be incredibly powerful in his own right in this mindset. Not saying that this personality trait "powers" him up or anything to that effect, but rather his will to win, to survive, to destroy whatever the situation at hand calls for his will increases dramatically to see the objective through. In this mindset, Yosuke is completely unforgiving and seems like a completely different version of himself. He has no qualms about how he goes about the task at hand, nor how he treats the victims on the opposing end of his blade. Normally Yosuke abstains from trying to mutilate his enemies and offers a quick and painless death whenever possible. This personality trait of his differs in the fact that he does not care about the amount of pain caused to him, nor his enemies. As long as he achieves what he needs to get done sucessfully he will go through whatever lengths to see it so.

Reiryoku Level:
High Spiritual Power-
Yosuke has a much larger reserve of Reiryoku than most Shinigami, primarily due to his heritage being from one of the four noble clans of the Kuchiki Clan. A clan is known for giving birth to some of the most notable and powerful shinigami in the history of the seireitei. Aside from the genetic boon that grants him with averagely more Reiryoku than most Shinigami, Yosuke has trained for man years after graduating from the Shinōreijutsuin at the age of 97. 103 long hard years of training, mentorship, dedication, and intestinal fortitude led Yosuke to the level he is at, and he won't stop until he becomes stronger. Strong enough to enforce the laws of the seireitei upon any who break them regardless of rank, status, or skill.

Sensing Reiryoku:
Expert-
Yosuke is an expert at sensing Reiryoku, primarily due to his fathers own strict regime that he was placed under from a young age. Such is customary of members of the Kuchiki family and the son of Shirogane is no exception to this policy. Yosuke has also picked up a similar ability to his fathers albeit not as powerful as his. Yosuke is capable of sensing whether someone is lying though this is not always accurate as a large part in this ability depends on the individual's state of mind. Someone who is calm and collected while he is sensing out their Reiryoku might be lying yet Yosuke may not be able to tell the difference.

Reiryoku Control:

Great Control-
Yosuke has great control over his Reiryoku this is due to his 103 years of intense training during the span he has been within the Gotei 13 after passing the academy. Since then he has unlocked his Shikai and spent most of his training time working to perfect its abilities this slow grind day after day has lead Yosuke to have great control of his reiryoku a feat he is proud of. This being said Yosuke is still seeking for room to grow and knows he is nowhere near his maximum potential. He continues to strive to new heights of power all in the hope to one day surpass his father and to be able to protect everyone within the Sixth Division.

Reiatsu:
Expert-
Yosuke has what some may call average reiatsu among seated officers and such or at least typically what has been the case for most in the past. True enough he has unlocked his ability to use Shikai and even now trains to further his mastery over it. As a member of the Kuchiki family, he has trained tirelessly from a very young age and has been sent on many missions since his span of time being assigned to the Gotei 13. All of his experience, training, knowledge and natural ability has lead to his reiatsu reaching such levels. He is able to release his reiatsu with fine control in small increments, or large bursts of expanding energy. Yosuke can manipulate his reiatsu in various manners.

Yosuke's Reiatsu when released is shown a thin veil of aura around his body with flickering crystals glinting light off of them as they rise up around him before evaporating into the atmosphere.

Reiatsu Effect(s):
Yosuke's reiatsu has two primary effects, Firstly, which affects low-level shinigami which is fear. A cold throat clenching fears that can cause his opponents to hesitate before confronting him. The second effect is that of physical manifestation forcing the nearby area to drop in temperature as a thin veil of misting fog spreads across the immediate area. Snow can appear on nearby physical surfaces resulting in the true power of Yosuke's reiatsu of being Snow manipulation/Creation.

Zanjutsu Level:

Expert Swordsman-
Yosuke has created his own style of swordsmanship known as the Kanpū ken-ryū (寒風剣流, Cold Wind Sword Style). This technique relies on fluid movements and high-tier speeds to deliver maximum power with every stroke as such not only does it rely heavily upon Zanjutsu skills but also Hoho skills as well. The technique focuses on maintaining maximum agility and mobility while using incredible speeds to supplement lack of physical strength to deliver crushing blows from the speed behind the attacks. This swordsmanship technique is incredibly flexible and has different variations to it that allow practitioners of this style to fight with opponents one on one or take on multiple opponents at once using the blinding god-like speed to strike down opponents before they realize what has transpired. Developed to allow a single samurai to defeat numerous foes single-handedly, the Hebi no odori is rooted in the concept of ichi no tachi, or to strike in a single blow, practitioners of this style use a combination of immense speed and agility, and acquired, observation-based techniques that permits a practitioner to anticipate an opponent's movements. Both offensive and defensive maneuvers are executed with minimal movement to increase a practitioner's ability to counter-attack and to conserve energy.

Hohō Level:

Shunpo Expert-
Yosuke is extremely skilled when it comes to utilizing high-speed movements. Years of training underneath the tutelage of his father, the Shinōreijutsuin, and his own training has given Yosuke a far above average level of skill in the art of shunpo. His skill is primarily utilized with his offensive swordsmanship style usually focus on powerful bursts of speed over short distances, and ever-changing fluid movements of varying speed to confuse opponents designed to create openings or take them by surprise before unleashing his assault upon them.

Hakuda Level:

Hakuda Practitioner-
Yosuke, for the most part, despises Hakuda. Not because he feels it is inferior offensively to any other techniques one might use as he has seen Hakuda destructive power with his own eyes before. Rather Yosuke feels Hakuda lacks any true art. It is a barbaric method of fighting in his eyes and holds no grace or dignity as other forms of offensive combat do. For this reason, Yosuke has seemingly neglected his part in learning Hakuda, he is skilled enough in it to where he is confident in his abilities against average hollows or other shinigami, though he would never outright use this as his primary form of offense.

Kido Skill Level:

Kidō Specialist-
To this day Yosuke is only capable of pulling off Kido in the 60's range with never really attempting to pull any kido out that is above level 70. This is not his greatest skill that is to be sure similarly with Hakuda he has more knowledge in Kido than he does Hakuda however, Kido is not his primary way of fighting. Often times Yosuke will utilize Kido to create an opening to close the gap between his and his opponent and attempt to finish them off using his preferred fighting method of Zanjutsu. He is capable of performing powerful lower-ranked Kido while his mid-tier ranked Kido may not be as powerful as others he is still proud of the feats he has accomplished thus far. His favorite Kido technique, of course, is Sōkatsui. Having learned this technique from a very young age he has spent years cultivating it and mastering it to what he perceives as its fullest potential at his current skill level. If you had to name his most iconic and favored technique Sōkatsui would be the one Yosuke would claim.

Skills and Abilities:

Impressive Reflexes:

Yosuke has impressive reflexes despite his age. The main reason for his quick response/reaction timing is primarily due to his training and creation of his own Zanjutsu Style the Kanpū ken-ryū. His training and creation of this technique rely on incredible agility, mobility, speed, and precise timing. Over the years training and creating this swordsmanship style. Yosuke's body has naturally overtime began to gradually enhance itself as an effect of this his reflexes have improved drastically as well. This, in turn, allows Yosuke to sometimes react towards actions without having to think about it making him in some instances appear far more experienced than he may actually be. Most of the time when cases of his reflexes kick in and he is able to do some seemingly amazing feat is primarily due to sheer dumb luck and sine reflexes typically are involuntary responses in response to a stimulus he can't willfully repeat the action again.

Impressive Agility:
Yosuke has incredible agility primarily given to his body size and composition. He is incredibly nimble and is extremely fast and light on his feet. He is particularly skilled at Static and Dynamic balance which allows him to use his strength and coordination skills to alter his body, and change positions seemingly effortlessly while standing still, in the air, during a movement, or any other action one might think of. His agility is mainly seen in play when utilizing various high-speed movement techniques, though this does not just refer to shunpo style moves. It also refers to his offensive capabilities within Zanjutsu, and his ability to move his other limbs and entire body overall. This can make it rather difficult for someone to effectively land a hit on Yosuke. Effectively being used here in the sense of someone may be able to hit Yosuke but due to his Agility, Reflexes, and Flexibility, he can very easily twist, alter, and shift is body in such manners to mitigate damage where applicable.

Impressive Flexibility:
Yosuke is extremely flexible and devotes much of his mornings to performing various Dynamic, and Statis stretching exercises. This improves in small increments everything required for him to be incredibly Agile. Balance, coordination, speed, reflexes, strength, and endurance all can be enhanced through stretching as such Yosuke has developed his own stretching regime mixed with Dynamic and Static-Active stretching drills to improve his flexibility. Some of his techniques incorporate Yoga while others incorporate Pilates. The overall health and physical strengthening benefits of stretching over the vast many years he has incorporated these techniques has lead to Yosuke having a seemingly small frame. That being said he is incredibly physically fit despite his appearance.

The bands on Yosuke's neck and wrists possess explosive properties. By removing them, he can use them to produce blinding explosions and generate large quantities of smoke.

Inventions:

Kanpū ken-ryū (寒風剣流, Cold Wind Sword Style) Techniques:

Hisame Bassaiken (氷雨伐採剣, Ice Rain Felling Sword; Hailstorm Slaying Blade)
Usually initiated by a powerful jump, this technique places its user above the opponent, thus opening up more vulnerabilities in the latter. This technique's practitioner uses the momentum of his fall to strengthen a two-handed sword swing that brings his blade down on his enemy's head or shoulder.

Fuyu ikarimai (冬怒り舞, Winter's Fury Dance)
Most effective when surrounded by enemies as this technique has the user spin to attack in all directions. It can also be used as a counterattack against a thrust or charge, one sidesteps a forward-moving opponent and moves past them. In doing so, one spins in a full circle, adding momentum and centrifugal force to the strength of the sword swing, which is then aimed at either the opponent's back or the back of the neck.

Fuyu-fū Kakoi (冬風囲い, Winter Wind Enclosure; Surrounded by Cold Wind)
A massive flurry of strikes delivered to the opponent. The sheer speed of the slashes makes this technique difficult to counter or defend and is considered best to wear down more sturdy and enduring opponents.

Kanpūshi (寒風死, Cold Wind Death; Death by Cold Winds)
This is a standard, shoulder-level ground thrust. The user prepares by dropping into a partial crouch, both knees bent, right arm drawn back and left arm extended forward. Grasping the handle of the sword in the right-hand and rests the tips of the fingers of the left hand on the blade near the tip of the blade. The user then performs a powerful forward dash or lunge normally Yosuke uses the Bakuhatsu kaminari: (爆発雷, Exploding Thunder) technique whilst thrusting his blade outwards creating an incredibly potent thrust technique that is capable of breaking through concrete with ease.

Kanpūshi: Jōshō-fū (寒風死•上昇風 Death By Cold Winds: Rising Wind)
he user adopts a position similar to the one seen in Kanpūshi; however, the user's arms are positioned slightly differently, with the blade pointing diagonally up. The attack itself is not a lunge, but a hop skyward in conjunction with an upward thrust.

Kanpūshi: Kōsetsu (寒風死•降雪, Death By Cold Winds: Snowfall)
The user adopts a position similar to the one seen in Kanpūshi; however, the user's arms are positioned slightly differently, with the blade pointing diagonally down. The attack itself is not a lunge, but a jump followed by a downward thrust as the user is landing.

Yamakaze (山風, Mountain Window; Wind Blowing from the Mountains)
The Yamakaze is a two-strike technique performed while the sword is still sheathed, drawing the blade out in an instance using the friction of the blade running against the sheath to allow the blade to be withdrawn at tremendous speeds once the blade tip has reached the entrance of the sheath. After the first strike with the quickened sword, the user wields the empty sheath along the same path as a blunt weapon. After the sword strike lands, the sheath strike delivers a pulverizing blow capable of crushing bone and shattering wood, but if the sword strike misses, the sheath strike acts as powerful insurance, preventing an opponent's attack and delivering a crushing blow when it's least expected.

Fubuki kenbu (吹雪剣舞, Snowstorm Sword Dance; Blizzard Blade Dance)
A combo attack using "Nagareru kawa" to flow around the enemy, confusing them with a constant change in speed. Yosuke will then strike from various points, slashing them with his Jian blade. Though he is nearly impossible to hit during the Fubuki kenbu, he is vulnerable for an instant when he switches from a defensive to an offensive stance.

Hohō Techniques:
Nagareru kawa: (流れる川, Flowing River)
This is moving technique where Yosuke moves around silently, rapidly alternating between fast and slow movements and confusing the opponent due to the fluid motion & continuously changing speed, the technique's imagery is evocative of the ninjutsu technique of kagebunshin no jutsu, in where a ninja exploits the limits of human vision to create illusions with footwork and control of movement to distract and confuse opponents. It can be beaten by watching for the moment the user attempts to strike.

Bakuhatsu kaminari: (爆発雷, Exploding Thunder)
This technique requires incredibly powerful leg muscles to perform. The basis of this technique is to focus every ounce of your energy that you typically would use to move into one solid concise action. Wasting no amount of excess energy and applying yourself in such a way that maximizes the speed behind this technique. Overall the ability is simply a single directional dashing technique that is used to cross a distance with incredible speed. Primarily Yosuke uses this as a preparatory movement in order to quickly and effectively close the gap between him and his opponent whilst during the movement and thanks to his incredible agility he prepares to mount an attack before reaching his target making sure that he does not waste energy on the execution of an attack once he reaches his destination. For a brief example, this technique is primarily seen as being used with incredibly powerful thrust techniques. The speed in which the practitioner moves in their single direction is great enough to supply powerful force behind a thrusting attack that depending on the user's skill with zanjutsu and this technique is capable of obliterating concrete walls. This technique does not have to be used in an offensive manner, however, true that the incredible speed in a single direction of this technique will greatly supplant a physical strike due to the velocity of movement, however, this technique can also be used to evade attacks if a block or counter is unfeasible or impractical.

Zanpakuto Name:
Kōri no kesshō (氷の結晶, Ice Crystal)

The regular sealed form of Kōri no kesshō is not your standard katana it takes the shape of a Jian blade. The Jian is a double-edged straight sword. Yosuke's Jian blade is 70 cm in length, 28 in, and weighs approximately 700grams or 1.5lbs. The weight and shape of his Jian blade allow Yosukes movements with the blade to reach incredibly highspeed seemingly giving him the moniker The Ultra-sonic Swordsman.

Kōri no kesshōs or Kōri, as she prefers to go by, spirit appearance is that of a Snow kitsune or Snow fox. She is extremely cold and bitter towards Yosuke tho in a playful manner and deeply cares about her wielder and partner. Though she would never outright admit these feelings she likes to toy with Yosuke whenever he is in the middle of his training with her or make side and sneer remarks simply to annoy him being true to her legacy as a mischievous fox.

Tsumetai mori: (冷たい森, The Cold Forest)
This is the inner world of Yosuke's Zanpakuto. It is an endless forest constantly filled with snow, and biting winds Snow ever falls here without fail. The first time Yosuke entered his inner world he was in awe and was shocked by the never-changing landscape. For hours he would walk in any one direction with the forest and snowfall never-ending. This has earned his inner world the moniker, Tsumetai mori: (冷たい森, The Cold Forest). In truth this is the one place out of everywhere else he could be that Yosuke truly feels the depth of "Cold" Neither while using his Zanpakuto or in other remote and snow barren landscapes does he feel the depth of the bitter bite f the cold as much as he does so in his Zanpakutos inner world.

Release Phrase:

In his released state, Yosukes Zanapkuto does not change in shape and stays in the same Jian Blade style, it does, however, receive a unique frost-like pattern on the blade as a cold seeping mist flows off of the blade silently.

Shikai Special Ability:
Kōsetsu: (降雪, Snowfall)
Kōri no kesshōs special ability is the generation and manipulation of primarily Snow. Kōri no kesshō is capable of transferring Yosukes Reiryoku into the snow. This is done by manipulating the weather and allows for gradual snowfall in the early stages of his Shikai being released. As the course of the battle continues the snow will begin to fall heavier and in much more volume. This will allow Ysuke to perform more sophisticated and powerful attacks as he will have more snow to utilize at his disposal.

Yosuke is capable of generating Snow by manipulating the weather with his Shikai. He is then able to command the snow to attack his opponent with crushing force whether by hand or sword movements the snow will react accordingly. Either in small fast striking tendrils of snow designed to smash his opponent with great speed or large waves of snow designed to crush and freeze his opponent. Yosuke can manipulate the snow to take various forms and different attack patterns aiding in attacking his opponent from multiple directions at once.

The snow generated by Kōri no kesshō also has an incredibly unique characteristic about it. This characteristic is what makes it incredibly dangerous for opponents to engage in long term battles with Yosuke. Over the course of the fight, the snow itself whether in the attacks Yosuke makes or simply the light snowflakes falling to the ground, the snow littering the ground that his opponents step in. Etc. All of this gradually in small increments begins to absorb the Reiryoku from his opponent. Just as normal snow saps the heat from one's body, this snow to saps the Reiryoku from his opponents which causes his Shikai to self generate snow as the battle progresses no longer requiring Yosuke to supply the creation fo the snow with his own power allowing him to focus on the immediate fight at hand.

Hoshizora yuki no kiba: (星空の雪の牙, Starry Snow Fang)
The only real "attack" technique that Yosuke knows in his Shikai state. This is the one ability that primarily acts solely as an offensive ability. the Hoshizora yuki no kiba, is a technique in which Yosuke releases a large volume of snow from the tip of his blade that rushes out with incredible speed and force. The technique is designed to crush his opponent through volume and speed easily capable of breaking bones, damaging organs, causing severe bruising, and similar type wounds. The other effect of this technique is the bone-chilling cold. This technique is so potently cold that it freezes the liquids within the area that it attacks. I.e. if someone were to partially dodge this attack and only have their arm encased in the snow then not only would the liquid in the arms be frozen thus freezing their arm into a solid chunk of flesh. The force behind the attack itself would cause these frozen pieces of flesh to also shatter apart. This technique, however, is used as a last resort type of technique. The sheer amount of snow generated from this technique, the power behind it, and primarily the temperature in which Yosuke must make it be in order to freeze liquids near instantaneously will leave Yosuke at his current level drained of his power and will thereby force him out of his Shikai state.

Biography:
Yosuke is the son of Shirogane Kuchiki and Tsukiyo Shihoin. When he was born like most Kuchiki being born his family threw a lavish celebration in his name and honor in the hopes that he would grow up to become a fine and distinguished member of the clan. The Kuchiki are known for their strict adherence to the laws of their clan and to those of the Soul Society, Sereitei, and Gotei 13.

Like his father before him, Yosuke was plunged into a world of training from a very early age. His father was harsh but not without compassion, Strict but not without restraint. He pushed Yosuke to his limits without feeling as if he would have threatened or truly endangered his son's life in the process of his training regiment. Upon reaching the age of 89 his father began training Yosuke in the art of swordsmanship to Zanjutsu as it is called in the Gotei 13. Yosuke instantly took a fascination to this art, and from this stemmed his love of other various forms of art.

Poetry, Music, Painting, Singing, and primarily Swordsmanship he all saw as fascinating pieces of artistic beauty. This is primarily why Yosuke began to learn to play the Biwa at a young age as well. Yosuke tries to see the beauty and good in things even if their glaring outlook could be considered one of disgust. When he finally turned 93 Yosuke was sent to the Shinōreijutsuin, or Shinō Academy to learn the arts and customs of becoming a Shinigami like his father before him. In truth, Yosuke did not pass the academy as quickly as some might suspect he would. It took Yosuke four long arduous years of training, study, and dedication to pass shortly after his 97th birthday.

During his tenure within the academy, Yosuke met many people some older, some younger, some having already passed and gone off to their own respective squads. Two of his good friends Jin, and Akane definitely helped Yosuke grow up during his time at the academy. Jin was a nervous and shy sort of guy, but once you got to know him head had a fantastic sense of humor and brightened up even the darkest of days. Akane was well she was the Dam that held back the river. She was a Strong-willed and determined girl that showed Yosuke that not everyone is as they seem. Together they both taught Yosuke valuable lessons in life. Not to judge others based off of appearances but rather actions and intents, Never to give up even in the face of adversity. They taught him the power of teamwork and the bond fo friendship. Truly these two were the first people Yosuke ever considered calling friends.

Upon graduating from the academy, Yosuke was issued his orders and was stationed within the Sixth Division under the guidance and supervision of his father Shirogane Kuchiki. The new life Yosuke had found for himself was exciting and riveting he loved every aspect of being a Shinigami, and loved becoming closer and more familiar with the other Soul Reapers that he was working beside. In truth, the Sixth Division felt more like a family to him than his own family. The Kuchikis are always a rather serious, strict, and Dignified people as such most times they do not seem as welcome as regular people might be.

103 long years of sweat, tears, blood, and fellowship with his squadmates have molded Yosuke into the man that he is today. While he loves the Sixt Division dearly, Yosuke also feels a deep sense of pride and expectations form the Kuchiki Family. He does not wish to let them down nor disappoint or dishonor those that have come before him and those that will come after him.

Notable Features: JInnosuke's number one feature is his abrasive attitude and dull green pompadour. The second is the massive bandaged Zanpakuto he lugs around. With a wide neck, Any can hear the pomp-wielding devil before he is sensed, although this isn't due to him concealing his reiatsu. He keeps things simple and doesn't sugarcoat words—Smelling of cracked pepper and seafoam.
Personality: At a young age, Jinno appeared to be belligerent, short-tempered, foul-mouthed, arrogant, and almost sadistic in his love of battle. Loudly bragging and regularly insulting his opponents. He was incredibly annoyed whenever there was a lack of fear coming from those he was fighting. He appears to have mellowed out a great deal externally, cutting apart his enemies with a cold precision rather than with the glee of his younger self and delivering only ironic and dignified insults instead of entirely swearing up a storm. There is a rage laying in wait inside this man, however, and if pushed too far or the thrill of battle allows him to release himself, The young devil may return, revealing a man so intimidating that hell itself couldn't hold him if it tried. In these moments, it appears his entire weight is bearing down upon the words he speaks, or even a crossed brow feels like he is holding you down by the shoulders.
He is rude, but He understands the responsibility the Gotei 13 gave him, and with Omoni saving him from the Maggots Nest, he shows a slight change of attitude. In contrast, it's seen that he possesses a more calm and respectful behavior against many people and fighters. This doesn't dissuade him from taking on anyone anywhere, however.
Relatives: None, He used to have a Father and Mother, but Somebody killed them in the Rukongai District 77, Sōshō (創傷, lit. Wound). He never knew his father or his father's real last name, But he did know he was some Captain in his glory days.

Reiryoku Level: Vast Spiritual Power-

Deep within Jinnosuke, a man who should have died over three hundred years ago, is the valid reason for his continued survival: a massive source of ever-growing Reiryoku outmatched only by the Captain-Commander. His titanic physical strength and extended lifespan owe themselves almost entirely to this spiritual power, which boosts his immune system and grants his muscles unprecedented abilities. This near-limitless, raw spiritual pressure is enough to cause others to bend at the knees, earning Jinno a significant amount of infamy—appropriate for his position. When fully unleashed with the intent to kill or be killed, the black/purple Reiatsu can flatten landscapes and cause even Captain-class combatants to flee for their lives. The unique properties of impending death that Jinnosuke's spiritual pressure embodies can cause those awash in it to experience intense feelings of rage and hatred and even the foreboding sense of mortality. This ability to spread the curse of his inner-most feelings has made him a notoriously tricky opponent to spar, let alone face in an actual arena. For this reason, he wears earrings with seals painted on them that prevent him from unleashing his full reiryoku.

Jinnosuke has multiple means of tracking people, be it by smell or hearing. However, his time in Maggot's nest put his abilities to the test. The isolation of being in a padded room chained to a chair for years on gets dull fast. To help ease this burden, he sought out reiatsu signatures from his cell. He was giving names and making conversations with himself while focusing on them. He is turning it into a game by trying to guess traits about them. After his release into The Shinigami Academy, he is working extensively. To increase this, he has trained to master sensing reiatsu. He was training with Enso in private to pinpoint reiatsu signatures through his tricky Zanpakuto. After years of this, he was finally able to master Reiraku (霊絡, Spirit Coils; "Spirit Ribbons" ) To the extent of being able to sense these ribbons over hundreds of meters.
Reiryoku Control:
Mastered Control-
Having such a raw strength has forced Jinnosuke to spend every waking moment since agreeing to work for Seireitei to control his reiryoku. Once he understood he could maintain it in the Academy, he has practiced every waking moment until he was allowed to graduate; on mastering his Vast pressure. He often was reprimanded and scolded for unleashing his enormous weight on others while training. It was made very clear to him that he would be sent back if he couldn't get a hold of himself and focus on controlling his Reiruoku. Even after the academy, Jinno would spend hours training with members from other divisions and even those of his own until he was able to constantly hold his pressure to a minimum value, Venting it whenever it built up too much. During his injuries and the last hundred years, He has spent countless hours controlling his emotions. Having Oyama hit him over the head with a boxing gloved fist any time his Reiryoku got too out of control while they spent hours watching martial art movies and shows from the Living World.

Reiatsu:
Master- A pitch black and purple twilight wave of loathing so strong even the most iron-willed people sometimes falter under its effects. By all means, Jinnosuke is a good man. He protects Soul Society, stands up for the weak, and upholds justice in the Seireitei. However, something dark lives in the man's being, A wrathful entity known only by its rage. His soul has devastating properties, but the pure weight of it all is soul-crushing. His Spirit pressure and Spirit energy are often seen and paralleled to an Ocean. You see Jinno for what he is on the surface, but only those as deep and dark as he can survive the pressure and amount seeping from this man's soul. It is the only reason why Musaboru Ikari (貪る怒り, Devouring Wrath.) allowed this man to wield him. Otherwise, this sword has been unmoved and untouched by all except the Captain Commander hundreds of years ago. The being that is Ikari is one of a haunted, betrayed, struggling past, Mimicking the plight in Jinnosuke all too well.
A hundred years of training in their Spiritual world has led Jinno to a new zenith of calm and peacefulness. He has mastered his hatred and can now focus on it as he wills, Thus unlocking the hidden potential of his already massive pressure. Now it's as if an opponent is thrown into the void of space, with gravitational forces consuming them from all angles.

The demonic entity is a shroud of his former self. Directly above him, from his radiating aura, it would seem the devil shroud is crying.

Reiatsu Effect(s):
Kinetic Force Trauma:
Blunt attacks instantly start to swell and leave abrasions that start to bruise quicker than average. Bones and metal seem more feeble with less density.
Wound Reflection: The second effect causes each wound previously inflicted by Jinnosuke to suddenly bursts with a reminiscing pain. Their body is immediately recoiling as if they were attacked again in the very same location. The same force following through and all.
Wrath of the Devil: The last effect is the maddening rage that not only affects those subjugated to its pressure already, but Jinnosuke as well. His mind is not his own; he enters a rage where his muscles expand grotesquely. Mind affecting abilities besides ones that bind kido spells to the brain directly fall off, with a berserk rage taking over Jinnosuke. He no longer can feel pain, nor would he stop with lethal wounds. This affects those around him in a vast area, those too weak simply whiting out. Jinnosuke often keeps himself under this effect when he needs to end fights quickly.

Zanjutsu Level:
Master Swordsman-
Though unorganized in appearance, Jinnosuke is widely considered one of the most threatening combatants in Soul Society outside of Captain-Commander himself. This status is due not only to his skill with a Zanpakuto but his suicidal method of combat: a terrifying mixture of straightforward strikes and fearless maneuvers that defy the traditional logic of self-preservation. While most combatants can place themselves in danger to gain an advantage in a fight, Jinnosuke embodies this tactic to an extraordinary level. He consistently leaves openings to strike with devastating and straightforward strength. Although this tactic often ends in mutual injury, his pain tolerance generally negates the damage he sustains, while his massive power makes his end of the trade quite devastating. Jinno developed these skills on the crime-ridden streets of Rukongai, where he had no other choice but to defend himself as best he could to survive. With no formal training, his experience coming from trial-by-combat, many 'proper' swordsmen find his style irritatingly brutish and unrefined. His raw strength and insane style made a nightmare of the dojo. To the point where Shobatsu Murasaki, the Captain Commander, had to force Jinnosuke how to hold his sword correctly, and the result was the re-landscaping of the Zanjutsu Dojo. They talked and trained for a while until it was decided Jinno must use his off-hand and only ever hold his blade with one. Unless someone else's life is on the line, he is allowed to use the proper technique. Even in his off-hand and never using both hands, Jinnosuke managed to defeat his entire class, many of whom were a year or two ahead of him. His teacher and greatest critic, a man respected as a premier duelist, fell to his sword in mock combat a few days later.
Jinnosuke is a master of underhand attacks and attacks that stem from no real training; he wants to do something or have something done; he simply does it. Over the years, this fighting style mixed with his raw willpower and strength has made Jinnosuke incredibly limber, able to stretch and bend beyond that of even credited 'flexible' shinigami. His bones are a hundred times as hard, and he is thousand times more flexible. The new training he committed himself to after this intense medical routine increased his basic fighting style. Jinnosuke no in Jinnosuke's Shikai implements the Chain attached to the blade's handle, more dynamically, instead of just throwing his massive sword at enemies. Jinno now spins it and defends his entire three hundred and sixty-degree radius. All the while, he developed a new form of combat. Jinnosuke will keep his Shikai blade on his back while allowing his left hand to spin the chain around. His right hand resides in his pocket, awaiting to counter maneuver anything the foe tries.
•Hyaku-kai no kauri suing (百回の軽いスイング, One hundred Light Swings!.): A 100 thrust attack using increased speed and new output, similar to Onibi but multiplied by a hundred. The attack sends a barrage of dull thrusts laid all over the opponent with the intent to crush their bones into dust. Jinnosuke can stop the attack in intervals of 25, and if he stops it out of order, it causes severe damage to his own body. Not a single person has been able to walk after taking all one hundred blows.
•Chinmoku (沈黙, Silence.) Jinnosuke thrusts the end of his handle swiftly, in a blur of speed, almost incapable of being seen by the naked eye. The blunt handle crushes the windpipe and trachea of the one who is on the receiving in. Halting their breathing and stopping any talk they might be doing. This is a close-ranged attack and is delivered at lightning speeds. It can also be performed with his hand.
•Kazoekirenai dai dageki (数え切れない大打撃, Uncountable Heavy Blows.) Swinging his Blunt rectangle of soul metal, Jinno starts a swinging arc with his Zanpakuto that, Once started, is almost unstoppable. Creating a pendulum-like motion, he arcs the blade from overhead left to a rotating underhanded right and back over then under then over and under, swinging in a literal infinity sign. This move almost always dislocates Jinnosuke's shoulder. It causes him muscle pain, even tearing as each blow slams into his target with enough blunt force trauma to shatter steel structures and crush stonework into dust. To the point where even the vibrations from the aftermath shock whatever is hit beyond the core. Solid blunt strokes can render metal useless, rip through flesh effortlessly, and dissolve bones into liquid. The attack stops once the Momentum stored up dies out, making it uncountable, not from the number of attacks done, but from the random number that might happen this time.
• Mayonaka no Sutorōku (Stroke of Midnight): The Mayonaka no Sutorōku, Like all things involved in the Kenpachi's combat method, it is astonishingly simple in its execution. By twisting his entire body and focusing all of his strength into a downward arc, Jinnosuke can create a perfect pummeling blow for his sealed Zanpakuto. A bludgeoning strike that has no unique indicators or vocal components to show it is used. This peculiarity is due to a swirling vortex of negative pressure and the Reiatsu that gathers around Ikari during the lightning-quick movement, displacing objects around it as if the weapon itself were thicker and blunter than it is. Material—living or otherwise—struck by the Mayonaka no Sutorōku is crushed, not cut, and the force of the impact is so strong that it can invert the side of a reinforced bunker in an instant. Shrapnel and debris from such a strike could likely be found miles away.
•Kendō (剣道, Way of The Sword) is a modern Japanese martial art of sword-fighting based on traditional samurai swordsmanship. Although his sword is much too big to be used practically, He has developed his way of Kendo he calls Gekido-Kendo or (激怒剣道, Raging Way of the Sword)
Senmaioroshi (千枚卸, thousand-page Wholesale) : Multiple swift blade movements take place, shredding a target into pieces.
Suikawari (西瓜割, Watermelon Splitting): A two-handed, overhead slash which cleanly and precisely cleaves an opponent's head in twain
Hōzuri (頬摺, Cheek Stroke): A simple but precise slash technique which lightly grazes the target, causing superficial wounds.
Hitotsume: Nadegiri (一つ目・撫で斬り, The First: Killing Stroke; Viz "First Strike: Mow Down"): A precision cut of extreme force and speed which can casually slice through large, multi-story high opponents protected by steel skin. This slash is precise and swift; its victims are unaware of it until after it has taken place.
Onibi (鬼火, Oni Fire): The practitioner performs a powerful thrust with a blunt weapon, creating a large, gaping, cylindrical hole in a target.
Ryōdan (両断, Bisection): Grasping his or her sword with both hands, the practitioner brings it down with enough force to cut an opponent in half down the middle.
Agitowari (顎割, Chin/Jaw Splitting): The practitioner bisects an opponent from the jaw down the length of the body with a single sword strike.

Hohō Level:
Shunpo Master-
Jinnosuke uses weight training every day, mastering his body weight and up to the importance of two thousand extra pounds. This allows him to tap into and endure speeds that would sheer skin or break bones from other beings. His maximum speed isn't record-breaking, only because he has never had to use it in front of others. His stamina and amount of Reiatsu after training his Bankai, almost to death, for two months, under the weight of an impossible to grasp metric. Jinnosuke found he could now reach speeds on terms with those thought to be the fastest shinigami. Taking off his weighted clothing and fueling his body with his massive Spiritual energy, he can effortlessly keep up with the likes of his peers. Able to maintain Speed clones for an impressive length, Jinnosuke has been known to snatch people by the arm while trying to Shunpo away from him. He often uses this in Zanjutsu fighting while diving an opponent. The moment the Shunpo away, he mimics them and takes their arm mid shunpo, only to rip or hook them with Ikari. And once he gets severe enough to take his weighted clothing off, he has access to speeds thought only attainable by those of the Assassin's regard.

Hakuda Level:
Master Hakuda Combatant-
Having grown up fist fighting before ever having a weapon, Jin mastered the art as the years passed, knowing that if Jinnosuke ever disarmed him, he would not die fleeing. Jinno enjoys nothing more than sparing daily as much as he can with another fellow hand-to-hand combatant, to the point where he Arm wrestles people as a way of making decisions and deciding disputes. Nonetheless, This is one of the more dominant skills Jinnosuke has due to the training regiment he committed to doing in the academy and as a member of the 11th Division. Learning beyond just the fighting technique, Jinno spends a lot of his time with the Healers of Soul Society; this allowed him to exams and learned the Body and what to do and hit someone to do significant damage. He uses this to considerable advantage in grappling or fistfights.
During the last hundred years, he has implemented a training technique that he has only seen himself attain. He calls it "Shadōbokushingu (シャドーボクシング, Shadow Boxing.): Using his reiatsu and reiryoku in tandem, he projects mental images of who or what he wishes to train against. Because Jinnosuke's reaitsu and imagination are so potent, he can actually, to some extent, manifest a reiatsu clone to fight against and actually react and get injured too. His mastery of Reiryoku control allows him to train like this for a few hours each night. After fighting someone once, he can theoretically fight them as many times as he wishes afterward. During the day, his training was a bit different. However, he and Captain Nakamoto spent hours fracturing and surgically breaking Jinnosuke's bones to strengthen them to nearly indestructible durability and allowing Jinnosuke's fighting style to come out. He can now catch weapons with his bare hands or purposely take attacks with means to an insane counter-attack. In his last one hundred years, Jinnosuke also started making progress on a Flaming Shunkō.

: Shunkō is the highest form of Hakuda technique. It comes in elements such as 'wind' or 'lightning.' It is an ultra-powerful technique in which one drives Kidō into one's arms and legs. The Kidō itself can be controlled and fired at opponents from the body.
Sōkotsu (双骨, Double Bone): A powerful, two-fisted punch used which can destroy an opponent in one blow.
Kagamibiraki (鏡開, Mirror Opening): After puncturing their target with the tips of their fingers, the practitioner rips their opponent in half through sheer physical strength.
Oni Dekopin (鬼デコピン, Oni Headpoke): Pulling a finger back against their thumb, the practitioner flicks it at an opponent. The blow carries enough physical force to send the opponent flying a considerable distance away and crashing through multiple physical constructs.

Jinnosuke understands Kido, but he doesn't care to use or practice it further than he does. Knowing it was vital to know how to break and avoid them if used against him. He put a bit of research into it and can perform much lower level, Kido, without fail. Over the hundred years, he spent studying spells and incantations. Learning to master the art of Kido. He did this with a singular purpose, to learn Shunkō. A Flaming Shunkō, in Honor of his fallen friend and comrade Maho Kojima.

Skills and Abilities:
•Indestructable: Two things strengthen bones, Damage, and weight. Generally, our biological systems are set up so that if something is damaged, cells lay down more, more rigid material since clearly what we had before wasn't quite tough enough. In other tissues, this forms as scar tissue which can reduce your mobility; however, breaking and rebuilding the bone just gives you a denser bone. After almost a hundred years of surgical microfractures over every square centimeter of bone. Paired with resistance training in his Bankai, Jinnosuke's bones are now on another level entirely. He can stop blades with enough force to sheer someone in half with his bare forearm. Omoni and Yu oversaw this to make sure it healed correctly, and he was rendered with the maximum Speed and Density of his bones.
•Immense Strength: Jinnosuke holds a toned and forged strength that is simply overwhelming. Fueled by both his vast spiritual power and his unflappable drive to fight, the muscle tissue in his body can exert forces far beyond that of some other Captains. At his peak, the Kenpachi can nearly match the physical strength of the Captain-Commander, which is a feat that terrifies even the most stalwart warrior. In battle, this unrelenting physical force backs up his borderline-suicidal strikes with tremendous damage-dealing capability, making even skilled blocking techniques somewhat ineffective. The shock of a parried strike can still snap bones, shatter weapons, and throw Captain-class sworders out of stance. It is this bolstered fitness that has allowed him to continue and grow stronger.
•Immense Endurance: Although his body has been ravaged by constant battle, Jinnosuke's pain tolerance and physical fortitude are beyond measurement. Nerve clusters and damaged cells fail to send good impulses to his spinal cord and brain, making it impossible for him to receive the entirety of painful sensations. Those few messages that do reach him are instinctively ignored.
•Tactician & Strategist: Jinno may not be the most sophisticated combatant in the Captain-class, but few understand the simple and effective strategy behind his methodology. While many high-ranking fighters use complicated battle planning, textbook maneuvers formed over decades, and other advanced combat staples, Jinnosuke is known to dive headfirst into battle with no regard for politics or subtlety. This effectively negates the 'song-and-dance of fighting, bringing it from chess to checkers in a matter of seconds. Many opponents find themselves in a gladiator's arena with no time to formulate or enact complicated plans, fighting with sticks and spears instead of complex maneuvers. Jinnosuke excels at this. By pressing the attack and giving no time for his opponents to think, speak, or scheme, he brings his strengths to the fight while eliminating his foes' potential advantages. Still, he is capable of surprisingly complicated tactics once his Zanpakutō, Ikari, has been released.
•Death Sense: Over the hundreds of years of learning about his body while healing and visiting the 4th Division, he has left Jinnosuke with an extreme sense of self-awareness regarding his organs and inner tissues' condition. Most individuals fail to notice anything of the sort unless a patch of tissue sends them apparent pleasure or pain messages. Such is not the case with Kenpachi. While he generally ignores it—he disregards most things in the same way—his nervous system has bonded with his consciousness so that he can immediately and instinctively diagnose his current condition if he were so inclined. This can include how much Adrenalin is pumping through his system, how much internal bleeding he may have, what kind of poison might be in his bloodstream, and, most dreadfully, how much time he has left before his body falls from a particular injury. He uses this ability only when he thinks he may Seriously be done for. Such an ability, if constant, would threaten to drive him mad. This extra sense has granted him an extreme level of self-awareness on the battlefield. It allows him to estimate how long he can continue fighting. It can quickly turn the tables on those who utilize poisons or diseases.
•すぐに取り組む Sugu ni torikumu: Instant Grapple, Jinnosuke Shunpo's with an opponent also using an instant speed skill. While they move, Jinnosuke grabs them mid-dash or teleport. Instantly stopping their retreat or dodge and hooking or ripping them with his sealed Zanpakuto. In released forms like Shikai, Jinnosuke's Zanpakuto Ikari is aimed for their zanpakuto to destroy it instantly.
•絶対の波 Zettai no Nami: The Absolute Wave, takes every drop of malicious hatred in Jinnosuke's heart, and manifests it within his reiatsu. Formulating a ranged wave attack powerful enough to sheer a mountain in half.
•悪魔リポストAkuma Riposuto: The Devils Riposte, Jinno focuses everything into a single counter-attack, often being able to use his enemies momentum to rip them in two, from a single attack.
•悪魔騙す Akuma Damasu: The Devils Trickery, Jinnosuke attacks with his Zanpakuto, then using the mastery over his Reiatsu and the blade, changes it's shaping mid-swing to surprise and impale or slice one who would be assumed safe.
•不ふ壊え, Fue: Indestructible; This technique allows the user to either defend from powerful blows or attack the opponent in a powerful attack, through instantaneously clenching all of their muscles at the moment of impact; tensing and tightening of the muscles increases the solidity and density of the user's body, thus preventing the impact of outside attacks from inflicting much, if any, damage.[7][8] This gives the technique massive defensive and offensive power. By also picturing themselves as rooted to the ground, the technique can withstand blows from opponents up to a specific weight limit.
•柳やなぎ, Yanagi: Weeping Willow; The user alters the trajectory of their opponent's attack by redirecting their flow of power. In this manner, the user can make their opponent's attacks miss and make an opponent lose their balance, allowing an opening for a spell.
•海月固くらげ がめ, Kurage Gatame: Jellyfish Clutch ;
The user runs at the opponent and catches them in a headlock, leaning down using their run momentum. This movement is used to snap the opponent's neck back viciously.
•ハンドポケット, Hando Poketto), also known as Iai (居合, Iai): Hand Pocket; At the beginning, the user must hide his hands in his pockets. Then he makes a surprise attack with a fast and precise movement. These attacks are insanely fast and nearly unpredictable.

Zanpakuto Name: Musaboru Ikari (貪る怒り, Devouring Wrath.)
Zanpakuto Appearance, :[/b,] Ikari is a massive blade even while sealed. It is about 4 feet long and 2 feet wide. Wrapped in bandages as no other sheath will fit it. It bears an immense weight to any who tries and picks it up besides Jinno. None in the Soul Society have yet to pick it up except one Shinigami, The Captain Commander. The blade is cleaver-like in that it has a thick ridge, in 6 inches of iron that thins to the point, but instead of being sharp, it is a dull edge that is an inch thick.

However, after training for two months with his Bankai, The Zanpakuto returned to its original appearance. That of a jagged almost cleaver a blade. Jinnosuke calls it the Guillotine.

Zanpakuto Spirit: An ancient being, Ikari is aloof and mysterious with a great understanding of the deterministic nature of the world and foreknowledge of the predestined. As in She foretold the coming of a man so heartless, it would be a struggle to keep him in line. One that would pick her up and carry her to victory. This makes her seem condescending to Jinnosuke, and for the longest time, when he asked her for advice, she simply told him to continue. Now that they have come to a new understanding, Ikari takes the form of her true self, a warrior and beautiful woman with Oni-like features and thick wrappings around her chest and arms with gold fur and beads.

Inner World: The Great Roar of the Astral World (大幽界嘯だいゆうかいしょう, Daiyūkai Shiyō)
Jinnosuke and Ikari often end up in a giant abyss made up of people's many faces in Jinnosuke's life. Ikari often speaks from these faces toying with Jinno. Typically used for their practice and internal sparing, Jinnosuke can go all out here against Ikari, who has not been one to hold back against Jinno. In this regard, they are perfect for each other. The space is heavy and hard to breathe in, causing exhaustion in a short time. As if the crushing depths of space were crushing down towards the faces.

Shikai: Ikari unwraps if not already unwrapped. Then explodes with a star like reiatsu that visibly runs and cascades into the air until the area around Jinnosuke is as black as night; the Sun or moon, whatever is present, will be eclipsed, and the blade will transform significantly. Extending outward, the metal stretches in a large arch, becoming a massive great sword. The edge grows to be 8 feet long, with the width of a blade being afoot at its base, it lowers to the point. Its thickness is 9 inches. A large and long chain-whip attached at the handle's base allows Jinnosuke to hurl this heaping hunk of destruction at his foes Or use the chain to surprise and offset foes. The blade has no equal; it is the Pride of the Shinigami, and its only ability is that of Superiority. Anything Jinnosuke perceives as a weapon, Ikari destroys instantly. Even Bankai has trouble standing against this blade, Getting destroyed with little effort.

Jinnosuke spins his blade around until it gathers a glowing force that turns the entire edge into a field of stars. Aiming it at his opponent, he then rides it with a swift gesture of his wrist. Shouting out Ikari's full and valid name, Musaboru Ikari, they are taken over by a resounding force and immense blast of Reiryoku.

What most assumed would just become another, even more, giant sword. Jinnosuke's Bankai would represent just the opposite. The mathematical calculation of the weight instantly suited onto his body nearly pulverizes his bones into dust. Before the armor overtakes him, an injury he had before would be punctured by needle-like metal rods and fixed into place to allow proper positioning. His armored shell was truly and utterly indestructible. Where ever placed, Jinno sits like a sentinel absorbing reiatsu, reiryoku, reishi, and even more importantly, physical damage. The optimal situation is enemies using as many attacks as possible to try and shatter their perfect defense.
As they do, he turns it all into a cataclysmal force storing until he can't hold it any longer, and then he releases it all in a shock wave—another surprise from the physical brute. This supernova can then be focused on a beam or let out in a spiral. The blast itself has the same destroying effect as Jinnosuke's Shikai. The blast shreds any weapons hit.

Omoni Hageshi: Jinn and her go way back. She was the reason he was released from the maggot's nest and why his strength can rival captains. They know each other's secrets and insecurities and trust one another enough not to share them. They are often found in each other Divisions or The valley of Screams training. Jinnosuke often makes jokes about her being his wife. Everyone knows this is a farce. Jokes aside, Omoni is the only Shinigami currently worthy of being called Kenpachi, Jin won't say it out loud, but he is sure of it. Her skill set and raw power set the bar high for any shinigami looking at the title. Jinnosuke also owes her much more than he can ever realize. He was risking her life and the fate of others that joined her. Omoni secured a Hollow and used it to repair Jinnosuke's bones. This allowed them to sweep in and save the day. Ever since he always gets flush in the face if he stares at her for too long.

Biography:

Jinnosuke was born from his hollowed mother's corpse underneath a hanging tree, where Bandits left him to die alone in a mire of blood and afterbirth. In the Rukongai District 77, Sōshō (創傷, lit. Wound). A mercenary group led by Hakusa Naito's man eventually happened upon the gruesome site, presuming the infant to be dead. However, when the baby began wailing to the surprise of the bandit, an acquaintance of Hakura's, Sendo Betoku, immediately took to the child and came to his aid. Hakuba allowed the woman to keep the baby for her consolation, despite the circumstances of its' birth being considered ominous by his cohorts. Three years later, Jinnosuke's' surrogate mother contracted a sickness, dying as he watched on.
Being forced into combat at such a young age, Hakusa made it a known fact that Jinnosuke would be trained. Under Hakusa's tutelage, Jinn began honing his swordsmanship at six years of age and joined the mercenary's band three years later, looking up to his leader as a father figure of sorts. When Hakuba eventually lost his leg in a battle, his relationship with Jinnosuke immediately deteriorated. From verbal to physical abuse, Jinn was subjected to various forms of degradation before Hakusa eventually attempted his life. Possessed of the notion, Jinnosuke was the reason for his misfortune. Heavily disheartened by this revelation, Jinnosuke retaliated and killed his assailant – the closest thing to a father he had ever known.
Consequently attacked by Hakusa's closest men and branded a father killer, He took up Hakusa's sword, an Asauchi he had stolen off a Shinigami in one of their raids closer to the more affluent districts. Killing Hakusa's most loyal men, then killing any over as if they challenged his role in this. He was rallying the ones remaining and unknowingly causing destiny to shift into motion. Jinnosuke's natural talent began to spill forth, he assumed the leadership role in the group, but most importantly, he began to fill his blade with his reiatsu. After a few short missions, the boy at ten years old took overall Outlaw groups in the outer Rukongai. He was amassing a group of around 60 souls. Making a name for himself as the kanji Kan, A symbol for Coffin. For the carved it into each person he killed. This takeover brought in Members of the 7th Division of the Gotei 13. Jinnosuke slew the two members investigating this, leaving nothing behind except the Kanji for Coffin on their chests carved with their blades. He decided he needed a place to train the outlaws lacking in combat skills, so he took them back out into the districts' far reaches and forced them all to keep a low profile. Over the next ten years, Jinnosuke and his men started to work their way back towards District 66; never once breaking the law or committing a crime, under Jinnosuke's Leadership, they were able to fend for themselves as a traveling fight club. Allowing them to train every day no matter where they went, going by false names, and even taking contracts to kill people when they could. By the time they reached the 66th District of Rukongai, the group is only 20 members strong. He was having lost many to other trades or deaths along the way.
Strolling into the District, They would then, without warning, slaughter the town. Jinnosuke and his few men awaiting the Shinigami to arrive. He wanted to test his strength now; having fought so many regular beings, he needed to know where he stood. He didn't understand why, but to prove a point. Jinnosuke slew a thousand souls that day. Civilians, His men, Shinigami of the 7th Division. He was even managing to murder a Shinigami capable of Shikai. Jinnosuke was no longer showing any signs of humanity. At the time, the Captain of the 7th Division showed up in a rage himself, Attempting to kill Jinnosuke outright.
However, not knowing Jinnosuke had been filling an untamed Zanpakuto for the last ten years and unable to control his Reiatsu or Reiryoku, The Captain's sealed blade was halted by the Cleaver the edge had manifested into. This was the first blade, however, to finally clash evenly with Jinnosuke. It sent him into a heavenly frenzy as the Captain lazily parried Jinnosuke's wild berserk slashes. Finally, growing bored of his antics, The 7th Division Captain hailed his Shikai down and gave Jinnosuke a single blow that would of, and should have killed him. Directly down his spine, from the nape of his neck to his lower back, the slice should have severed every single thing along with it. The Captain would then leave Jinno piled in his men's bodies before starting the clean-up of the 77th District. The 4th Division was brought in to see if They could spare any.
All was lost until a Shinigami, cut from a different cloth, with lush brown hair came upon him. Jinnosuke's sheer willpower manifesting his uncontrolled Reiryoku and the indomitable will to survive allowed Jinnosuke to live. She gasped and called over other 4th Division Members, one of those being the Captain. Who knew very well who this man was. Since he tested a captain without any training and to live a strike from his Shikai, she decided that was worth at least his life. She restrained and put him into a comatose state. Then delivered him to the Maggots Nest, where he was sentenced to live forever for his crimes against Shinigami. As the battlefield was being cleaned up, The Zanpakuto he stole was left stabbed into the ground, where he was slain. The giant hunk of jagged metal stuck there. The 7th Division Captain had tried to retrieve it and send it where it belonged, but he could not move it at all to his despair. Not a single person was able to lift it. It caused such a commotion that even the Captain Commander was troubled to deal with it, as no one felt safe leaving a random Zanpakuto in the middle of a district, especially one with that would serve as a monument to bloodshed. So finally, he was the first one to be able to heft it effortlessly and send it away.

Pain and confusion were the only things on Jin's mind as he stared at the dimly lit and deep dark orange walls. Jinnosuke was now a resident of the Maggots nest. Soon he fell to his exhaustion and wounds and slept for a long time.

Awakening in the Ujimushi no Su, Jinnosuke was heavily restrained by chains of an unknown make. He was tightly bound. After a while, people dressed in all black approached him, starting to register things about him, such as how tall he was, how heavy his eye color, hair color, and DNA sample took drastic measures in cataloging the man. Fixing his injuries just enough to make sure he stayed alive, They then threw him into the Nest of Maggots' residential area. A place was full of people supposedly like Jinnosuke himself, yet to him. These were just scared beings. He promptly made it known that " I am surrounded by frightened filth, and if anyone thinks otherwise to see me here and now. " This statement, of course, resulted in extensive rioting of residents all trying to kill Jinnosuke. At the time, the shinigami, figuring it would be the man's death sentence, allowed it to happen as Jinno so brashly challenged the total residential capacity of Ujimushi no Su. However, to the 2nd Division's surprise, they found themselves and their Vice Captain restraining Jinnosuke after he slaughtered a thousand other prisoners. They were making him the second-ever Prisoner to be confined in a cell, well away from others.
When Seireitei called in the 4th Division to access the situation and clean up, they found bodies of Prisoners with their throats torn out, covered in teeth marks; others had so much blunt trauma they were nearly unrecognizable if it wasn't for their DNA records.

He was serving his life sentence in silence, away from others now. Jinnosuke was regularly visited by members of the 4th and 12th Divisions. His body only seemed to grow stronger even in isolation, and there was the odd fact that he has seemingly bonded to a Zanpakuto with zero training. This was making him a particular case as even then, his Zanpakuto was kept in a specific area where if it was to be moved, the Captain Commander had to be called in to relocate it. When he wasn't being poked at for health or science, Jinnosuke often manifested his Zanpakuto Spirit in his cell, communicating with Ikari even over their distance. This is how potent Jinnosuke's Reiryoku is. Through these conversations, Jinnosuke didn't do much but challenge Ikari the second he saw it, having mental battles until his nose bled. After this, Ikari started to break through to Jinnosuke. He was forming his rage into meaning, reviewing his life, making him take responsibility for his actions. Forcing Jinnosuke to see that he didn't have to strive to kill souls just because he was born the way he was. They all struggle; they all want and need, and Jinnosuke had no right to take that away from them. These conversations would evolve into Ikari and Jinnosuke forging himself anew. These changes, although slow, taking two hundred years. It wouldn't go unnoticed. An ex-Eleventh Member now joining Fourth had been watching the physical blade of Ikari, stuck in a slab of stone, and shoved into an office. He was noticing that Jinnosuke's zanpakuto changed from the rough, jagged, misunderstood shape into a straight, sizeable glistening hunk of metal over the hundreds of years. It was then that the Captain Commander visited Jinnosuke in his cell.
The man would see Jinno, chained in a vest that suppressed his Reiatsu; The chains held him tightly in a sitting position trailing into the wall and giving him little to no slack. Shinigami covered Jinnosuke's face with more bondage holding his arms behind his back. Only to be moved to a laying position by six or more guards. The Captain commander walked in, grabbing the chains and vest, and then with one pull, shattered them off of Jinnosuke. He sat there unwavering as the Captain Commander hovered over him ominously. Jin said nothing for a while until the Captain Commander sighed deeply and turned to leave, asking Jinnosuke. " Are you ready to do something with this thing you call a life." And with one word, Jinnosuke and Ikari spoke in unison. Their answer was yes. Jinnosuke followed the Captain Commander out of the Nest to everyone's surprise. Then marched him into Central 46, Where they changed Jinnosuke's sentence to a life of servitude for the Gotei 13. He was to enter Shino Academy and join the 11th Division on the Captain Commander's orders or be sent to Hell.

After spending some time in the 11th Division fighting strong Shinigami and becoming a titan in strength himself, Jinnosuke started spending a lot more time with long-time friends and rival Omoni Hageshi. During the years that followed, they grew their bond in battle by building off each other's strengths. She even unlocked and witnessed his Bankai for the first time. After an incident involving the second division and an almost perfect timing distraction with the giant space turd, Jinnosuke decided the 11th needed a leader. He was strong enough to do it after failing to do anything to destroy or remove the problem. He was allowed to test for the Captaincy. However, his heart just wasn't in it. He failed to match specific criteria, and he understood as well. Taking the time to heal his bones after displaying his Bankai to the public and asking Omoni Hageshi to gather many books for him to research, fighting styles he had forgotten or never took the time to study.

Taking the material he learned back to Omoni, he would then discuss4 his Transfer to another Division with his only true friend in the Seireitei, Omoni. Their discussion was interrupted by a handful of events, and the outcome was surprising to Jinno. It ended in him challenging Nibui, the current Lieutenant of the Eleventh Division, to a battle; after a messy fight, Nibui gave up to Jinnosuke. He was making The Devil the new LT of the 11th division. His mindset focused on his original goal; he trained 4to to become the New Kenpachi and the 11th Division captain. His insane and brutal training lasted for two months, ended in Jinno taking massive damage and rendering him useless. Until a solution is found, Jinnosuke resides in critical condition. Awaiting the results of a matter he had no control over.

Finally, A solution to his bones being turned to dust uncovered itself. Now Omoni is locked in a battle of fate. After successfully delivering a Hollow to the 4th division, the medicine to heal Jinn, They instantly became faced with a Togabito, an entity from hell. All this unfolding while the Captains are locked in a meeting, preventing them from helping the others. All the while, Jinn is laid up in bed watching the events through his Denreishinki X. A cure found and a solution to his broken bones awaiting. If only he could help tilt the scales in his favor.

Omoni and Gotei 13 captured a hollow and transferred it back to wait for Omoni's return. After she engaged the Togabito, she was withdrawn from the fighting to meet with a malnourished Jinno. The constant training on his body being neglected for a measly frame of time nearly reduced his muscles extinct. She was showing the real trauma going on within his body. Omoni then used her Shikai to snap every bone in the hollows body. She was effectively healing Jinnosuke and his many broken bones.

Upon gaining his strength, Jinnosuke launched towards his recovery routine if something like this happened. Immediately he prepared a mixture of approximately thirty pounds of water and fruit sugar together. Downing the entire bucket. Forty-five seconds after, his body began to glow a lighter shade of purple than ever before. As if he was entirely in control of his body. With nothing weighing him down. After this, they set out to the living world so they can take on the Togabito together. Arriving and almost immediately taking the Togabito out in a single attack, Omoni unlocked her Bankai, and in tandem with Jinnosuke's Shikai, destroyed the Togabito. Jinnosuke used his Bankai with no ill effects thanks to Omoni's own, thus saving both their lives from the impending flood of Soul King Blood hitting them like a tsunami. Afterward, and for the next one hundred years, Jinnosuke would start his training to become Kenpachi.

Yū Nakamoto (中本市ゆう) is the captain of the Fourth Division (四番隊, yonbantai; "Squad 4") in the Gotei 13. Fairly new among the other members of the Gotei 13, Yū is still struggling to find his role among the others and for the time being, instead finds solace in the relief station most of the time unless called on to fulfill his duties. Before becoming captain, Yū also spent a substantial part of his time in Soul Society in the Fifth Division, (五番隊, gobantai; "Squad 5") excelling as far as becoming the division's third seat as well as becoming a very prominent Kidō Corps member before his eventual transfer.

Notable Features:
Yū is noticeably below average height especially for his age group, towered over by most of the men and even some women his age or younger in Soul Society. Known for his delicate looks, he has vibrant, turquoise eyes and pouty lips. Due to his hair ending just above his shoulders and his soft expression, he has often been confused for a girl which, for lack of a better word, pisses him off. Despite this, Yū refuses to cut his hair for reasons unknown, the most plausible reason being he can't remember a time where it was short and has a deep fear of looking... ugly. In times of stress or when he seems to be forever occupied, Yū will often tie his hair up into a ponytail with one of the many hairbands found on him or scattered in his office/room. As a captain, on top of his Shihakushō he wears the signature captain's haori with the fourth division insignia emblazoned on the back; He tends to wear his haori more like an oversized blanket, than a robe. Unlike majority of the captains and other lower-seated officers, Yū has made virtually no customizations to the uniform required of Shinigami, acting as proof for how much of a 'stickler' to the rules he can sometimes be.

Personality:
Contrary to his stereotypically feminine outward appearance, Yū considers himself to be fairly masculine and strongly dislikes when he's babied around or called "cute." However, rather than yelling or reacting violently like a child, he simply gets flustered easily and will just complain quietly to himself. He's a bit wiser and more put-together than what his age lets him off to be, but he feels he's sort of been forced to take on this mindset due to the large responsibility he carries. Sometimes, Yū can come off as "too mature" or as a "worry wart" seen by his stringent following of the rules and tends to only be more laidback in order to seem cool or if he succumbs to extreme amounts peer pressure. (oftentimes, coming from his own lieutenant)

As the freshly appointed leader of his division, Yū is attempting to become not as soft-hearted as he used to be, in order to establish dominance and give off a more superior "vibe," which he often fails at, naturally. Due to his soft demeanor despite his position, division members and other Shinigami close to him alike playfully refer to him as Princess. (姫ゆう, Yū-hime), much to his disdain.

Not wishing to bring any more violence into the world, Yū has adopted a pacifist attitude and eschews violence even when threatened; unfortunately, this love of peace proves to be yet another subject of teasing from most shinigami, especially those from the 11th division. While Yū is still well-educated in his field, he generally receives little respect and is often mocked due to his passive nature. Because of this, he has grown to become quite ambitious in his goals in order to gain what he believes to be his deserved recognition, but his insecurities still seem to weigh him down some as he is unable to conquer everything set before him. Despite his lack of belief in himself, Yū spends most of his time caring for everyone except himself by offering sanctuary and protecting any in need, and takes pride in his empathetic abilities to be an emotional crutch for fellow Shinigami to lean on.

In fact, he seems to only be truly fully confident in himself when aiding others: the responsibility of saving lives that would otherwise be helpless without his presence, gives Yū a thrill that only the hardest of drugs could ever dream to match. Every breath he witnesses in the relief station he accepts as a "thank you," which could easily be misconstrued as arrogance despite his pure intentions. Only in times of deep stress can he be found in a generally unpleasant mood, coming off as cold, self-centered and gaining a sort of tunnel vision to accomplish whatever he is working on at the time. This, however, is only due to his looming anxiety of failure and sometimes-toxic competitive nature. This trait can also be translated into battle– adversaries who get in the way of him treating his peers or lessers are victim to his devastating wrath despite his known stance on nonviolence and peacemaking.

Reiryoku Level: Great Spiritual Power

Reiryoku Control: Mastered Control
Yū possesses a healthy amount of spiritual power when compared to his captains, and it is due to his sheer control that makes it seem as if his powers are limitless; His control is so great that he is able use multiple high-level Kidō without any signs of fatigue or stress. In fact, a majority of his feats seem incredible and almost unheard of due to how "fresh" he is. Starting from his early days at the 4th division, reiryoku control was emphasized especially for those who would go on to eventually learn Kaido with the intent of essentially becoming the life support of Seireitei. Years and years of pure control were emphasized to build a solid foundation for all healing-focused shinigami and the paths they would later pursue. Born a natural talent for it, mastering control was a breeze for the young captain, especially helped by the fact that he had an above-average amount of spiritual power than his peers growing up. However as he still isn't done growing yet, his already magnificent power still has room to grow and he is rumored to hold the potential to surpass even the strongest of Shinigami in both the past and present.

Sensing Reiryoku: Master
A skill all healing-focused shinigami have to be at least somewhat proficient in to ensure they assist all in need of aid in the midst of a chaotic battlefield, sensing Reiryoku has become almost a sixth sense to Yū. Fine-tuned to pick up, focus and even scout for significantly weaker reiryoku signatures, Yū's sensing skill is almost akin to a hunting dog as he is able to pursue a trail for miles without ever losing his path. Possessing a sharp memory as well, once he picks up on someone's distinct reiryoku signature, he's seemingly forever able to recognize it from that point on allowing him to realize when someone he has already met is approaching before they're even in view or earshot. Those with larger reiryoku pools generally can be sensed from an even greater distance than usual.

Reiatsu: Master

Reiatsu Type: Standard
Able to spread the reach of his reiatsu for what seems to be miles, it isn't hard to find Yū when he wants to be found. Deeming it necessary for all shinigami to readily locate his presence so they can flee to him for emergency aid, Yū has perfected the art of exerting his reiatsu to extend across entire battlefields so its effects can reach those it is intended for. Just as skilled as he is at exerting his reiatsu, he is just as capable of suppressing it, as well as others' signatures in emergency situations where it more often than not, can save his life.
Reiatsu Effect(s): Relief, Paralysis
Yū possesses the attribute to choose his reiatsu effect to give off a sense of relief or to assert dominance. Typically when entering a war-torn battlefield with the intent of saving those in need, his reiatsu can be felt throughout the entirety of the field as a relieving presence. Easily mistaken as an elemental-type due to the warmth those who sense his reiatsu feel, soon they are able to realize that this warmth isn't physical, but a warmth that comes from deep within. While Reiatsu literally means "Spiritual Pressure," Yū's unique reiatsu attribute is this "absence of pressure", which aids in the consolation effect he aims to bring. When asserting his reiatsu more, it can even restore nearby Shinigamis' reiatsu as if he was healing them directly and rally those who are near the brink of death to keep fighting for their life and uphold the oaths they swore to fulfill. On the rare cases Yū finds a need to intimidate, he is able to shift his reiatsu to have an untamed, paralyzing effect, which is especially helped by the initial surprise people tend to have when they discover this type of aura is even present within someone as demure and polite as him.

Reiatsu Shape: Butterfly
When exerted, his reiatsu juts out of his spine in the form of a pair of blue, butterfly wings. Aiding in his ability to fly in the air more swiftly and with more control, a notable amount of speed is added to his every moment. Not only just for speed, Yū can also use his wings offensively. When Yū flaps his wings, a shockwave is produced that is capable of pushing back even a captain-level shinigami if he applies enough force. In terms of defense, the wings are able to wrap around him as an energy cocoon to provide a solid defense against incoming attacks. It's unclear just how far his wings can reach but he has shown the ability to shield multiple full-grown shinigami with his wings alone.

Zanjutsu Level: Swordsman
Hopeless and absolutely atrocious in the art of zanjutsu when compared to captains or even lower-seated officers, it's no wonder Yū is rarely seen with his blade drawn. His natural disgust for violence is noticeably reflected in his sword ability (or lack thereof) as he is clearly uncomfortable in brandishing his zanpakutō in any other way besides releasing his Shikai or using it as a medium for kidō. Rarely seen on the offensive, the majority of his zanjutsu skill comes from cutting down incoming projectiles or obstacles in front of him; In fact, the closest he's gotten to actual sword combat is parrying incoming attacks solely to create space for a mid-to-long range attack.

Hohō Level: Shunpo Master
Undermined by most, members of the Fourth Division undergo an extensive and physically taxing curriculum while training as their jobs are arguably the most important in all of Soul Society. New recruits are immediately put into starter classes where they are educated on how to use their spiritual power to heal, as well as how to move with great speed and precision in order to act swiftly for performing first-aid. As a part of the Fourth Division, it would only be fair for its' leader to be equally proficient in Shunpo as he is in his healing abilities. Rival to almost none asides from those in the Second Division who find it as their specialty, Yū speed is astoundingly immense and one should definitely fear the idea if he was to use this speed to his advantage in attacking. But, fortunately for you all... he doesn't. Asides from his small build, he's virtually impossible to land a hit on head-on. Able to weave and bob through a flurry of even the most unpredictable punches, kicks, and attempts of a takedown, Yū casually has become effectively untouchable to even those who boast themselves to be Hakuda masters.

Taking Shunpo to an even greater level, Yū has mastered the highly advanced Speed Clone technique to a frightening degree. As the technique allows the user to create afterimages of themselves to confuse the opponent as well as conceal their true movements, Yū has time and time again tasked himself to surpass the limits set before him. Not only is he able to manifest these clones which is a feat in itself, but he is capable of treating numerous patients at once via his afterimages, even possessing the ability to hold short conversations with those he is treating in order to get a full diagnosis.

Hakuda Level: Hakuda Practitioner
Being classified to have an above-basic mastery in this fighting style is a fact possible due to his speed and his surprisingly durable build. Yū has never been seen performing Hakuda techniques, as he views them to be even more barbaric than Zanjutsu. Classifying it as a style for brutes, Yū has shown no interest in the past and has vowed to keep himself clean of causing any sort of damage with his own two hands. With that being said, if unable to evade incoming Hakuda assaults (a rare feat.), adversaries will find their attacks surprisingly ineffective against the Fairy's solid frame. While he has promised to never dare throw a punch, the captain's strength is still something to not underestimate as he's able of carrying his weight several times over and withstand even the most brutal of hits.

Kidō Level: Kidō Master
Nicknamed by his peers as he excelled through the 5th Division ranks as the Kidō Prince (鬼道王子, "Kidōoji"), Yū knows no better form of combat more than he knows Kidō. He has demonstrated the ability to use various high-level Kidō at full power with complete control, some with no incantation, and some even without moving. A surprise to those who write him off as just a healer, Yū mastery of Kidō far surpasses those even within the many Kidō organizations of the past and present, as well as arguably the most notable spell casters throughout history. It's a wonder to most how Yū become so dedicated in the art of Kidō, and if one asks he's quick to answer "it's the only way for me to get my hands dirty... without my literal hands getting dirty."

Possessing the skill of casting kidō in rapid succession, Yū is able to fire out low-level and high-level kidō alike so quickly that they appear simultaneously, fooling even those most knowledgeable in kidō to think it was a completely brand-new technique. Yū mastery reaches as far as to easily display extremely difficult applications, as well as forbidden techniques that deal with advanced soul engineering and the manipulation of spatial boundaries as seen by his self-made Tenkyūden. (天宮殿, "Celestial Palace") Even his fellow captains can readily admit that when Yū reaches his prime, his skills have the potential to enter into a league of their own.

Most important of all, nothing and no one can beat Yū prowess in Kaidō. (回道, Turn Way) Able to restore multiple targets' reiatsu to their full potential as well as heal their wounds with ease, whether it be directly, via his zanpakutō, through his reiatsu effects, a healing barrier or all together in a combined effort, there isn't a shinigami nor any type of spiritual being alive who can provide better medical assistance– a fitting skill for his role as the 4th Division's captain. Yū has also shown the knowledge of setting up kidō-based traps and barriers as well as breaking barriers set up by noble families that are "spiritually superior" with noticeable ease. Due to this, Yū is frequently tasked with creating various barriers and binding spells that are capable of hiding reiatsu to conceal his and others' presence, as well as amplifying his reiatsu to allow those wounded to know where he is located. Yū has also displayed the ability to transport objects directly into a foreign barrier, but it is unknown if time-space based abilities are the source behind this or something else.

Skills and Attributes: Human Anatomy Studies, Unwavering Spirit
Human Anatomy Studies –– A requirement for all members of the 4th Division; Shinigami must fully understand the anatomy and physiology of Shinigami, and seated members must as well understand the functions of humans and arrancar alike, as if they were their own.

Unwavering Spirit –– A product of living his life by the tenets installed by the 4th Division and fulfilling his oaths; Yū is seen unbothered by the numerous effects reiatsu is able to give off, even when coming from noticeably stronger adversaries. His duty, as well as the duty of all healing-type shinigami on the field is threefold: they are never allowed to stop medical treatment unless every single one of their allies is dead, they are never allowed to step on the front-lines as the chance of their death increases the entire team's chance of certain death, and they are not allowed to die unless everyone else on their team is already dead. In order to fulfill what is expected of him, Yū has undergone resistance training to withstand the effects of his adversaries' reiatsu exertion. However, phantom pain effects that are incurred are still felt, albeit with no visible discomfort. Only a handful of his fellow captains can break his otherwise unwavering spirit; The only exception being those with elemental types as he's unable to literally stop the varying effects that can occur from taking place.

Kaidō (回道, Turn Way)

Seimeikasseihō (生命活性法, 'Purify by expiatory sacrifice', VIZ. Life Refreshing Method) ––– A healing spell that uses the practitioner's own reiryoku to heal the target, which takes the form of a green-colored light. The healing is facilitated through physical touch and requires no incantation to use. Its' effectiveness is based on the practitioner's own control as it is capable of treating the most severe wounds and purifying even the most foreign of poisons.

Shōreikōsō (奨励構想, 'Plan of Inspirational Encouragement' VIZ. Encouragement Plan) ––– A healing spell similar to Seimeikasseihō, however the amount of damage that is restored is also bestowed on the patient as a one-time shield to nullify damage equal to the sustained injury. Upon its initial cast, the spell memorizes the source of damage and further reinforces the afflicted area to prevent similar damage from occurring once more. This ensures an attack of equal force to be rendered ineffective and allows the target less downtime to recover and grants more time to plot a counterstrike. This spell expends more reiryoku and takes longer to cast, due to its increased effectiveness.

Shikikōyōsaku (士気高揚の策, 'Plan of Morale-Lifting', VIZ. Morale Boost) ––– A healing spell that uses the practitioner's own reiryoku to heal multiple targets, which takes the form of a green-colored light. It can be cast as an emerald rain, as a cloud, or as a simple shockwave outwards of light. Unlike Seimeikasseihō, physical touch is not required to facilitate the healing, and instead requires greater concentration. Captain Nakamato's butterfly wings and reiatsu effect both reflect similar qualities to Shikikōyōsaku, however, casting the spell itself displays more potent and immediate results.

Shinseiji (神聖地, 'Sacred Soil', VIZ. Sacred Earth) ––– A healing spell that uses the practitioner's own reiryoku to create a designated field where multiple targets can receive healing. By allocating a prepared amount of reiryoku into a large, circular field around the user, targets within the field are able to have their reiryoku slowly regenerated without the practitioner's direct attention. This, coupled with Shikikōyōsaku or an erected, healing barrier, allows the user to attend to other situations while the wounded recover untouched.

Chuugi no Tate (忠義の盾, 'Shield of Devotion', VIZ. Shield Oath) ––– A healing spell that can also be classified as a supplementary spell. This spell uses the practitioner's reiryoku to create a Reiryoku Pact (霊力協定, Reiryokukyōtei) with a singular target. As a result, all damage that either party undergoes, is dispersed in half with the other party receiving the other portion of the damage. The reiryoku pact can only be ended by the original caster, and is often used when treatment is unable to be administered for the time being. However, this same concept also applies to any healing received as well, with the other party also receiving half the healing that is administered.

Flower-Viewing Guard (花見衛兵, Hanamieihei; "Shroud of Blossoms") ––– A seven-layered barrier of light that can be manifested in a matter of seconds, Yu's flower-viewing shield takes the form of an iridescent cherry blossom. Each flower petal layer has the defensive power to withstand a bala and altogether, is boasted to stand firm against a fired cero, however, it could be possible that a handful of stronger Arrancar might be able to break through all seven layers, all depending on their strength in comparison and the range of fire.​


Universal Resonance (万有共鳴, Banyuu Kyōmei "Angel's Touch") –– Regarded as one of Yū's greatest achievements in the Kaidō field, Universal Resonance allows the doctor to communicate and understand his patients' on a much more deeper level. Initially, this spell was invented with the intention of feeling the pain of his patients, allowing him to become an expert at diagnosing and treating them in a moment's notice. This later became useless once the angel gained more in-depth knowledge of anatomy, now able to detect any anomalies in his patients with his eyes alone.

Now what came was a more psychological connection; This kidō technique allows Yū to literally sense and experience a person's emotions and feelings through mere touch. The angel is capable of discovering and bearing the weight of even the deepest traumas, otherwise unknown to all, from just a few seconds of exposure. He has also shown the ability to manipulate emotions to a degree, using this to cheer up an otherwise sad individual or more likely, to efficiently calm an enraged Shinigami by influencing them to be less hostile. While Yū is unable to control direct movement, he has even displayed the power of manipulating consciousnesses, able to quickly sedate someone if needed to the point of being registered as comatose. Individuals with stronger willpower (typically, Captain level or above with a mastery in Kidō) are the hardest to force into tranquility as it requires constant physical contact with the target; Stronger subjects are also able to nullify this power partially, left to be in a half-conscious state at best. Conversely, the captain can just as easily awake people from comas, however, this has shown to sometimes not be the best action as other body functions sometimes don't follow suit.

Celestial Palace (天宮殿, Tenkyūden; "Heavenly Palace") –– After transferring from the Fifth Division, Yū refined the kidō techniques and principles he was taught growing up to create a multitude of new spells that would further propel him to Kidō master. A number of his most infamous spells fall under the parent technique Tenkyūden which the young captain classifies as his "own unbeatable class of barriers." Boasted to match and even surpass boundaries erected by those of noble blood, these barriers are blue in color with their most noticeable characteristic being the moving panels that make up the surface of the barrier, as well as the paper slips that hover and orbit around his constructs. In truth, they make up the automated "repair system" of the manifested defense, filling any gaps or strengthening weakened areas that may occur when under attack. (pictured below) They also have a tendency to glow when in effect, as well as produce crystal-like shards within its radius.

Yū has demonstrated various talents via Tenkyūden, such as defending against incoming attacks by using it as a flat shield similar in conception to Dankū, however with a stronger defense. (albeit, also a higher cast time) The captain is also capable of isolating and trapping opponents within constructed barriers, making objects and people alike within the barrier appear invisible and indistinguishable, as well as even treating allies and himself within a barrier. While technically forbidden and unknown to almost all, Yū has even managed to manipulate time-space within the confines of a barrier, designing a form of restoration similar to both Orihime and Hachigen Ushōda which he dubs Shuufuku. (修復, Restoration Technique) However, unlike the other two, Yū is under extreme scrutiny from the Central 46 as a captain, who have explicitly outlawed usage or even holding knowledge of any kidō involving the manipulation of time and space. Due to this, Yū rarely performs this aspect of Tenkyūden unless no other choice presents itself to him; Luckily, Captain-Commander Murasaki has seemingly turned a blind eye whenever the angel has carried this out, however it's unknown if this could change if Yū was to use this power more frequently.

Ittan-momen (反木綿, One tan bolt of cotton –– Plural: Ittan-monme) –– The Ittan-monme are a testament to Yu's unknown skill in soul engineering; Derived from mod souls and with help from the 12th division, Yu classifies the Ittan-monme specifically as Mini Mod Souls (根改造魂魄, Nekaizō Konpaku; "Simple Engineered Soul") due to their basic, featureless, yet humanoid form. Even though the original mod souls were designed to "enhance Human physiology", Yu's mini mod souls were not invented to enhance at all, but instead to simply mimic human physiology in the most uncomplicated way possible. Initial reactions to Yu's idea weren't pleasant as even the 12th division showed hesitation to green-light the young captain's appeal for aid, due to the many controversies surrounding the long-ago Project Spearhead. A number of restrictions were imposed on Yu's project with the most notable one requiring that the mini-mod souls would need to be unable to function in combat– a request everyone knew the young captain would be more than happy to oblige.

Besides the large square symbol on their chest, acting as a beacon for its creator, their only distinctive characteristics are how short and pudgy they are, as well as the rough cloth and dried beans that make up their body. Created to fulfill a large chunk of responsibilities the 4th division oversees, the Ittan-monme were invented primarily to assist in the manual labor duties throughout Seireitei. Even though they seem innumerable, thousands of them are littered throughout the entirety of Soul Society and while invisible to most due to their minuscule form and bashfulness, Ittan-monme are quite effective in their duties due to their large numbers. Besides manual labor, Ittan-monme are even capable of providing assistance in the hospital, such as retrieving medical tools, or applying medicine to cotton pads.

Company Relief Bag –– A standard assistance kit that all shinigami of the 4th division possess, it is essentially an advanced first-aid kit stashed with medical supplies, pills, potions, homemade concoctions, antidotes, ointments, and herbs to treat a variety of injuries, afflictions and life-threatening illnesses.

Gigai (義骸, "Faux Body") –– Even though 4th division members aren't allowed to even enter the Human World, Yū wishes one day to visit the World of Living, if only to satisfy his curiosity. His gigai's outfit consists of a sleeveless, striped hoodie with blue shorts and matching sneakers. Unique to others' gigais, Yū is able to leave his freely, with his artificial body dissipating into a kaleidoscope of butterflies; This same effect is also seen sometimes when Yū teleports elsewhere.

Zanpakuto Appearance: Ichikō is a standard katana with a rounded, rectangular tsuba. Since his Shikai can be activated without the need to draw, almost no one has seen the true shine of his blade. As he rarely finds a need to pull his sword from its dark sheath, on the occasions he does, it's clear to those witnessing that it is noticeably clean of any rust, weariness from usage, and impurities. (both literal and metaphorical)

Zanpakuto Spirit:
Ichikō's most obvious feature are his large, lustrous blue butterfly-like wings. He sports blue hair that grows out in all directions and glows at the front (similar to a tomato stem) and uniformly points backward in the back. Ichikō's eyes are the same color as his hair, and he has a noticeable feminine facial structure, with large eyes and a soft jawline. Despite his childlike appearance, Ichikō regularly boasts that he is "hundreds of millennia-years old" which results in playful teasing from Yū. If Yū's confidence and attempts to be superior are bad, then Ichikō's attempts are dreadful. Quite the pushover, instead of being a teacher of sorts towards Yū, the two have become more like colleagues unlike their initial, awkward relationship. Possessing the same mentalities as each other, Yū is noticeably more at his ease in the presence of Ichikō; However, this could also be attributed to the absence of stress in his inner world that he tends to have in the real world.

Inner World:
Yū's inner world is a silent garden, void of any life besides flora. Not a chirping bird nor a buzzing bee will be found in this seemingly dense garden, the sound of light rain being the only audible thing. Perpetually stuck in sunrise, Yū's favorite time of day, the young captain tends to find himself meditating into his inner world just to recollect his thoughts in the midst of his hectic schedule. Despite rain constantly sprinkling 24/7 year round, nothing in this world seems to gets wet– almost as if as if the rain is just a filter over his eyes. Scattered throughout the garden are numerous stone gazebos where one can take shelter from the phantom rain... as if it it makes any difference.

Shikai:
In its Shikai form, Ichikō (巫子, "Shaman Child", viz. Priest's Child) is promptly engulfed in a white light before unfurling and dispersing into what seems to be hundreds of indiscernible light figures. While at first they seem to be just orbs floating aimlessly, when commanded by Yū, they take the shape of butterflies, drawn to those in pain and lacking reiryoku. The few that have seen his Shikai activation describe it as a heart-stopping moment, time seems to slow down to those who witness the birth of the butterflies and praise it as one of, if not, the most beautiful zanpakutō among Soul Society's current Shinigami.

Shikai Special Ability: Hōfuchō (豊富蝶, "Abundance of Butterflies"; viz. "Butterfly Profusion")
These butterflies are able to produce silk at a fascinating rate, with a small group of them able to cocoon a full-grown man in just under a minute. Their silk isn't just ordinary thread however; Formally named Shinseinaitō, (神聖な糸, "Healing Thread") this variety of thread is coated in a plethora of medicines intended to aid those they wrap. Those who are the closest to their final breath are the priority target upon release as a full cocoon forces the patient to into a dormant state, halting whatever damage they have inflicted from worsening. As a result, the patient's bodily functions also come to a halt, besides the essentials.

Since the silk that produces these cocoons are extremely sticky when freshly produced, they can be transported like bodybags after a short amount of time or in rare instances, immediately hung from trees or atop caves. In cases where full cocoons aren't needed, casts for broken bones can be made on the fly as well as partial-body wraps to target certain organs. In the instance there is a complication or unforeseen injury that requires more aid, the butterflies are able to multiply automatically to increase their productivity. Asides from healing and gifting reiryoku, these incorporeal butterflies are able to become tangible when necessity calls for it to be, to become a shield of sorts against incoming assaults. Reverting back to its light form and simultaneously outstretching and flattening to protect the target, their shield form is surprisingly durable and can withstand an overwhelming amount of damage when compared to its thin frame. As Yū's zanpakutō, these butterflies therefore are a direct extension of himself, granting him the ability to receive information from them as well as relay information, if needed.

Some describe his Shikai to be the perfect recovery solution for the aftermath of a large battle and as such, Yū has become an important staple in the 4th Division even before becoming its Captain.

Bankai: Nijitsubasa Ichikō (虹翼巫子, "Rainbow-Winged Shaman Child")
Naturally not the largest fan of violence as he rarely takes the initiative, usage of his Bankai means Yū has found himself in a situation where there's no other choice except to retaliate. Similar to when Yū initially releases his Shikai, an indiscernible amount of butterflies (but not all) rush back to his side, reverting back into their light form to retake the shape of his blade upon coalescence. Almost immediately after his weapon is reformed, without even touching the blade it immediately lunges at his chest, piercing through his heart.

Bankai Special Ability: Akumaharai no Teishokuga (悪魔祓いの抵触害, "Contradictory Bane of the Exorcist"; viz. "The Devil's Trickery")
A metaphoric sacrifice of sorts, upon the initial wound entry being formed, his reiatsu amplifies nearly tenfold with its natural effects intensifying as well. Besides the boosted recovery rates of shinigami being tended by his still-present butterflies, the same cannot be said for those he has deemed a foe. All those within the range of his reiatsu that he sees as a threat are subject to his values. In essence, Yū's Bankai enforces the practice of nonviolence and those who dare to defy him are punished accordingly. Put simply, his Bankai's special ability ensures that whatever damage his adversaries intend to give to him, they will receive solely based on their mere attempt. For example, if someone moves with the intent of gutting him in the abdomen, the mentioned opponent will instead find themselves immediately gutted before they even have the chance to fully take hold of their blade. The same can be said for those who choose to attack via hakuda– whatever physical harm they intend to deal with said technique will be instantly received on their end when they even think of moving to strike.

The principles for kidō are a bit different as there is more variance in regards to timing when the damage will be reversed. Some may take longer due to having to recite incantations while some don't even need to lift a finger to cast their kidō. However, the result is all the same: kidō that is cast aimed to harm an adversary will instead target the caster in the exact instant it is cast. There have been a number of times where self-titled kidō specialists have unintentionally blown themselves up with their own destructive power, leading uninformed witnesses to assume Yū simply possesses an unnatural power they have dubbed Shikkō Gisei Hadō. (犠牲破道執行, "Forced Sacrificial Way of Destruction")

As the young captain technically isn't performing the action itself, he still finds ways to wash his hands of his short-lived guilt by reassuring himself he isn't to blame for the deaths of hundreds who stood against him; Yū kindly describes his Bankai as the "final attempt I'm giving you to make your retreat." With that being said, Yū is also subject to this rule, forcing a tense deadlock that can only be resolved with the mentioned opponent's immediate withdrawal. More often than not, Yū has inadvertently slain countless opponents caught in the heat of the battle who foolishly thought they could sneak in a killing blow only to find themselves incapacitated before they even had the chance to rethink their ways.

– Yū is rarely seen with his blade strapped on him when he's present in Soul Society; In most cases, it is likely in use at the relief station or if he's just too lazy to carry it, he is able to summon it to himself via Kidō.
– Despite his high ranking, Yū would prefer to simply be called "Yū" rather than his official title, "Captain Nakamoto." However, Yū always emphasizes on addressing others by their formal title, viewing it as a form of politeness towards even those technically ranked below him.
– Yū is a regular practitioner of bikram yoga and claims it is the best solution to help clear his mind when he feels overwhelmed. He frequently recommends it to his peers, who often don't participate again after their first session.

Personal Relationships:
Due to rarely having free time, his only real relationships are with his medical team and only a handful of the captains. Even then the amount of times he has spoken with his fellow captains privately are few and far between to even qualify them as close friends. Regardless, Yū considers all as a friend and treats everyone with respect and kindness so long as that mutual respect is given back to him. If not, well, almost everyone's life will eventually be in his hands should they ever be injured in battle so it's just a common safety precaution to be on a friendly basis with him.

Notable Features:
Rather tall for a young man, often times Katsuo will have to look over people's shoulders to read and lean over doing so, and his training has led his body to be lean and agile, like a cat he can fit into tight spaces. He does wear the usual Shinigami wear, except for the Sandals, he's destroyed so many that instead he chooses to wear combat boots when Hakuda training or Sneakers when practicing his Parkour or Dancing. This irks others that want to follow the dress code to the letter; but to each their own. Everyone is different.
Katsuo has light blue colored eyes and hair for someone of a presumed Japanese background. Many believe that because his soul came to the soul society his look changed to match his personality on the way down, but in fact upon awakening his powers with his Zanpakuto, his eye and hair colors changed. Not even Katsuo knows why. He does have scars and bruises on his back and quite a few on his now guarded hands and arms, signifying just how much of a knucklehead he can be when it comes down to tooth and nail.

Personality:
At first glance, one would assume Katsuo a delinquent, and imbecile, but those who take the time to get to know him quickly learn he is far from it. His views and beliefs are somewhat on the philosophical level, and because of this he comes off a bit preachy to others; despite this many have felt the love and loyalty that emanates from Katsuo, and have described it as a feeling like no other. Some enjoy the feeling that someone cares for them deeply, others think perhaps it is a bit too deeply, and find it almost unbearable, even if a bit unorthodox. This doesn’t deter people from listening to what he has to say when he wants to say it, but this strange behavior has caused others to make his words go in one ear and straight out the other.

Despite his passion and care for others over himself Katsuo also has a less gleeful, more challenging side that even he himself may be nervous about revealing, hence to hide or calm these feelings of anxiousness or anger he listens to his music to calm his mind and body. Listening to his music puts him into a near catatonic or meditative state, helping him concentrate on a job or task at hand, be it combat or simple tasks like paperwork and requisitions. Occasionally, he will feel the need to let these emotions flow no matter how frightening they may be to him personally, and forgo the musical influence to let emotions fly freely; this may or may not work in his favor depending on the situation it happens in.

Katsuo is no stranger to bullying; or being pushed around; he hates being told what to do in a demeaning or very rudely done way. If you respect him as an individual and ask nicely or politely, or a higher ranking officer gives him orders in a respectable manner he will do them, no questions asked. People have had to watch their attitudes around Katsuo because he will often times ignore the rude individuals and walk away, unless of course they hold a higher ranking than him. If they do, Katsuo will carry out their orders, albeit a bit more angrily. He believes one should treat others the way they want to be treated. Bullies and those who abuse the so-called weak are weak themselves in Katsuo’s mind, referring to them as “the trash of the world”. Katsuo feels the need to act as violent as possible toward people like this, shinigami or not, and will, regardless of consequences.

Overall, Katsuo is a shy, anxious, yet caring individual that takes great pride in being an Oda;though not by blood, this family took him off the streets, raised him, fed him, clothed him, and taught him how to fight, stand on his own two feet and be a man. No noble or rukongai dwelling person can or will convince him the Oda are evil, barbaric, or anything of the sort, despite their history within the seireitei. Katsuo looks at the bigger picture rather than the smaller one. Katsuo’s loyalty to his clansmen, and to his friends is substantial.

Relatives:
Tenzen Oda - Brother, head of the Clan that adopted him. Tenzen is smart, tactical, and a Kido specialist. He joined the Kido Corps but nowadays mostly stays at the Oda Clan residence, and is so busy with Clan paperwork and such is barely around Katsuo anymore. They still care a lot about one another, despite having grown distant. (Alive)

Kyoki Oda - Foster Father, Former head. Kyoki is well respected in his experience as a retired soul reaper, but mostly enjoys his life drinking tea and watching his boys grow. (Alive)

Immense Spiritual Power-
Katsuo was adopted by the Oda clan because his foster parents saw something within him the day they saved him from the rogue shinigami that killed the rest of his young friends. At his new chance at life, Through hard work, great amount of effort, and extended training even outside of the Academy, Katsuo has made a tremendous feat in releasing great amounts of spiritual power. the power can often times confuse people when he exerts it, because he usually has an emotionless or smile upon his face when he releases it. never a dark or shallow emotion covers his cheerful and lovable face, no matter how terrifying his spiritual pressure can get. Often times the pressure gives people mixed feelings, unless Katsuo says something to you that is either condescending or cocky, then you are probably in for a training session, or a fight. either way, you're not getting out without a bruise if that is the case.


Sensing Reiryoku:
Expert-
Katsuo is so used to being around large pools of reiatsu, including his own, that it makes it easier to detect even small amounts that are exerted, however smaller amounts at greater distances can't be pinpointed exactly before a target tries to vanish, Katsuo can sense even the smallest amount within a 20 yard radius of himself. As for larger pools of reiryoku released, he can sense coming from as far as twice the distance amount and feel any left behind by the user if they have gone from the location when he arrives. Katsuo's sensor-ship is resemblance that of a blood hound in the trail of a criminal or when detecting drugs, or finding a body. He tends to get into a lot of fights with Hollows in the world of the living because of this.

Reiryoku Control:
Mastered Control-
At first it was hard, very hard controlling something that was awoken through anger, however through years of training at his newfound home, Katsuo has learned there and even at his years at the Academy how to master his Reiatsu control. At the top of his class with it, he's capable of placing just a bit of Reiatsu onto even the tips of all 5 of his toes to make a sharp edge on his feet to pierce through hollow masks. With a calm, quiet, blank stare, Katsuo is capable of exerting fear into those who have pissed him off or didn't do as he asked them to do completely correct. when calm the reiatsu level is extremely low, and flares up whenever he gets overly excited and worked up if he really wants it to, which is usually only when someone really messed up around him. He may blare it a little bit in front of someone as a joke or a laugh, Other than that, his reiatsu level is nearly undetectable, except for those on par or higher rank than Katsuo. Training everyday, he meditates to control his emotions then hones his Reiatsu to one point, whatever point he wants in his body, and releases. He repeats this process for an hour at least every day, two if his previous battle was roughly won.

Reiatsu:
Master-
Katsuo is able to concentrate a high amount of reiatsu to one point in his body, a foot, hand, elbow, etc to increase the power of his Hakuda ability. A master at combining Hakuda and reiatsu control, if he did put more force into his attacks, he would crush stones, crack bone. However through controlling his reiatsu he can control the level of force put into his hits. Too much could cause injury to himself.

However Katsuo's facial expression may be when he's exerting it, fear is what will be mostly felt to those with weaker energy around him, after getting over his face. When wanting to be left alone with his music and staring out at a window or sitting on a rooftop thinking about life, the fear of those who disturb him could coax them to walk or run away from him until he feels like going to them himself. this usually happens when he's tired or upset with that specific person. In essence, thise who are trapped in his Reiatsu tend to feel a mixture of emotions between fear or anger, depending upon how much stronger they are than Katsuo. If they are stronger they tend to feel as if Katsuo is taunting them or picking at them to come and fight him, if lower strength beings will feel mostly fear and confusion as to why he's standing in their way.


Reiatsu Type:
Standard Type-
Katsuo doesn't have a definitive ability or special elemental effect with his reiatsu, it mostly feels like energy in it's purest form, similar to that of kinetic energy on others, but a sugar rush on himself. If his body was a battery, it would always be super charged with energy, hence why most of the time he's running it off. It's customarily if Reiatsu was a drug, it'd make Katsuo feel high most of the time.

Zanjutsu Level:
Master Swordsman-
Sword Dance Art
Katsuo's Zanjutsu Reflects that of even his Hakudo, fast paced, rapid slashes and close quarters combat. It's similar to the styles of Jian Wu and Mer Diandya in terms of flow and theatrics. He treats his blades as an extension of his arms. with the Laser-like color to them in Shikai, it truly looks like he's a blade Dancer. If fighting in the dark people only see the glow of his headphones and the shine of his blades, making it hard to pinpoint his exact body location in the dark, especially if you have a hard time sensing his reiryoku. Swinging his blades to the movement of his music his opponent would have a hard time reading his moves, because he has no real style to it, Zanjutsu is just as frantic and hectic as his Hakudo, crazy, but extremely effective, as told by peers anyway. How he trains his Zanjutsu is pretty much the same way he trains in Hakuda, only the swords are treated as double long arms. Swift movements like spinning and raising the blades above his head and stretching has always helped him improve.

Because of his natural flexibility and speed, Many of Katsuo's mentors believed he'd excel at Shunpo, and he did. Out speeding and maneuvering around many opponents. Often times Hollows did not know what hit them before they perished. In Katsuo's aloofness he often times doesn't realize he actually flash-steps sometimes. sometimes his speed clones will shift into the rhythm of his music as well, reappearing and disappearing, all to the beat of whatever track he listens to.
Katsuo can at the cost of Reiatsu, create illusions of himself jumping everywhere at once to confuse opponents then appear again up close where they least expect him and attack. This closes the distance between him and his foes, and also keeps them open for an attack if they can't see through it.

Hakuda Level:
Master Hakuda Combatant-
with the art of Dance and a combination of different Martial arts, to the flow of music he forever stays in his world of thought. His Combat style has to keep himself moving for long periods of time without getting winded. Through training at this consistency for long periods of time, Katsuo's lung capacity has risen and listlessness has extended tremendously. His fighting style is as wild and free as a wild horse on the great plains, running about untouched by the influences of man. Fast paced light weight movement followed by swift, agile attacks toward an opponent's legs, arms, and head are all what he targets, usually assuring an inescapable scenario.
Let it also be known that in his life in the rukongai Katsuo has learned to use his environment as his weapon, his movements swift and agile like a street performer. he's so small and thin he can fit himself in and out of some of the most hardest to reach places, which gives him an edge. his weight also helps increase his speed, and he trains everyday at the Oda clan residence with weights on his feet. People have said Katsuo's fighting skill resembled that of a underground street fighter, with uncontrollable punches and kicks, and occasional headbutts.

through his years in the Academy Katsuo had a problem casting even the simplest of Kido, mostly because he didn't like many of the spells, and found them not as fun as other combat ways. During a game of Chess with Tenzen, both brothers made a bet that whoever won had to learn something they were good at, even if it was just for a little while. Katsuo lost the chess match, and his brother gave him some personal lessons on Kido. Since then, Katsuo has learned to rely on some kido spells he finds interesting, both as a way of carrying on Tenzen’s teachings and as a means of defending himself. After 100 years and many trips to division 5 to Visit Tenzen, Katsuo has stayed for a couple Lessons in Kido Tenzen was giving to his Squad.

In his free time he pays music for the world of the living, even those in squad 13 barracks sometimes Katsuo's music is often blaring unless someone disrupts him to stop it. when he's alone he often dances to himself in his room at the barracks or on the roof where nobody can see him. his duty as a soul reaper comes first of course, so not only is this fun for Katsuo, but it's also considered training to him as well.
Flexible/Dancing Stance - a combat stance that keeps one's upper body moving by shifting weight between both legs at the knees, making it appear he's dancing in place. This stance not only prepares the body for a dodge, but also enhances one's speed while dual wielding. Without the weights on Katsuo's arms and legs prevent him from going so fast he'd hurt himself or others without intending it.

when Katsuo gets into the groove and ready to kill beings and do his duty, everything fades away at the sound of his music and gets lost in his own little world. he won't stop fighting until either the song the Walkman is playing or the enemy is defeated, whichever comes first. The headphones also counteract or negate Sound-based attacks from enemies as well as drown out voices from allies; it’s a double edged sword.

Armored/weighted gloves and leg weights
To reduce his speed in combat and trick opponents into thinking he's sluggish so they will underestimate him, Katsuo carries and wears weights that not only do this, but improve his training tenfold. This young man never stops running around or training, always staying positive and working hard. Once the weights are removed, Katsuo reaches speeds close to a Shunpo master.

Dual Wield Style
Katsuo treats his Zanpakuto like an extension of his arms in combat, swift yet relentless attacks that at close range will be harder to evade and blocked for long periods of time, however the farther away opponents will be at a slightly better advantage.
Personal Hakuda Techniques
Parkour Capoeira style like combat technique that only Katsuo knows that involves quick wits and even faster reflexes, and you being able to wear your opponent down over time. It involves quick but not very painful hits, just hope you have more energy than your opponent. Most of the attacks involve swift grazing kicks. when backed up with Katsuo's ability to concentrate his reiatsu into certain parts of his body, the kicks become much more forceful and powerful. when he gets into the groove he often time zones out his opponents by listening to music in his head that follow the beat to his fighting style.

An Obsidian black sheath covers the gold, black, and purple hilt of both swords. The blades are partially worn due to Katsuo’s extended use, Katsuo often blaming it on his zanpakuto’s own lust for combat. Despite being so worn, he ensures the blades remain well oiled and sharpened so as not to lose their cutting edge.

Two halves of the same proverbial coin, Eikōgitsune, according to Katsuo, is the embodiment of both life and pride. As a dual-type zanpakuto, Eikōgitsune manifests as a pair of kitsune. The kitsune adopt both the standard form of a pair of foxes with three tails respectively, while able to transform and maintain a more anthropomorphic image, donning the form of twin sisters in contrasting robes, maintaining their ears and tails. The two sisters have contrasting personalities;one appearing cold, somber and distant as if in a perpetual state of depression, while the other is loud and rambunctious, a smile ever etched on her face though quicker to anger than her sibling. The blade worn on Katsuo’s right represents the latter sister. According to him she is the wildest one to handle, often rattling to life in the presence of a formidable foe, a representation of her eagerness to battle. The left blade houses the former sister, often taking more effort to rouse the blade to life, typically only responding to her sister’s more erratic moods. Despite their opposing personalities, and tastes in music, both seem to have a fondness for battle and relish in being remembered; a result of their true existence as a single entity divided into two.

Katsuo’s inner world, the home of Eikōgitsune takes the appearance of an expansive shinto shrine, a single bridge leading to the torii gates at the entrance of the alabaster shrine. Like the inari of lore, Eikōgitsune stands guard at the gates, the twin sisters forcing Katsuo to play games or challenging him to martial combat upon his arrival, depending on their mood. Outside in the yard, a quiet slow flowing pond fills a bamboo shoot making it tip, the sound reverberates through the world in a slow ever going tempo. There are no other wildlife, so this is the only sound other than occasional wind blowing the tree's branches. The black bark on a purple blossom cherry tree sheds it's blooms and continuously grows more in a seemingly never ending spring. Inside the shrine However, Eiko keeps silhouettes or personal representations of beings Katsuo had fought, in the form of skulls. It's her way of thinking each victim remembers her. Even Katsuo can't touch the skulls.. they are too precious. The shinto shrine is usually chock full of them.

Once accessing shikai, the blades on the twin swords disappear, both blades gaining two blades that whisp and churn, and glow like flames. The blades adopt a bright and brilliant yellowish glow, the air around one appearing warm and the other very cold. Despite their almost ethereal like appearance, both blades are more than capable of being used as actual swords, interacting with other physical objects and opponents.


Shikai Special Ability:
Katagi kitsunemai (気質狐舞, “Temperamental Fox Dance”)
Evident in the heat of combat both blades are able to cleave through most materials with relative ease, opponents having noted how “hot” both blades appear to be, initially believing them to be a fire-type zanpakuto of some sort. In truth, Eikōgitsune’s shikai is a representation of the temperament of the twin sisters inhabiting the blades. The left blade is more demanding on Katsuo’s reiryoku, actively absorbing more throughout the battle, greatly increasing the temperature of not only its edge, but the area surrounding its length and reach as well. Opposing metals grow hotter to the touch, before burning red, forcing an opponent to release their blade to avoid being burned, the sword ultimately capable of cleaving through the melted object with relative ease. A heat haze is often present with its every swing, distorting the blade’s form making it difficult for one to gauge its reach or position to accurately defend or dodge. Opponents are often left in agonizing pain, as flesh is seared and burned with every successful strike, only growing hotter as the battle rages on, and the more spiritual power the blade draws from its master.
Concurrently the left blade appears to also “burn” opponents with relative ease, however the area around the flesh is left dead and blackened from necrosis, not unlike a victim of frostbite. An opponent’s blade become colder, frosting over causing their weapon to become fixed to their hand, demanding it be ripped away from their grasp, tearing flesh in the process as it remains frozen to their blades. As temperamental twin sisters, both represent the temperature, though on opposing ends of the spectrum. The rambunctious, cheerful hot headed sister greatly increases the temperature to smoltering extremes, as the somber, distant, cold and dreary sister lowers it to the extremes, becoming so cold she burns. Because of their individual, complicated natures and the differing ways in which they expend Katsuo’s reiryoku, it demands him to have a considerable amount of spiritual power, and impeccable control to maintain a workable balance between the two at all times during battle. The effects of Eikōgitsune can be resisted by those with considerably strong spiritual power to a certain degree.
In Conclusion, adversaries need to pay close attention and remember that even though both blades share the same blinding yellow color, one produces hot temperatures while the other is freezing enough for the cold to give off the sensation of “burning”.


Shikai Attacks
Kitsunehō (狐砲, “Fox Cannon”)

Katsuo presses the blades across each other before him, forming a cross. From the center of the cross he releases a concentrated blast, yellow and bright white colors spiraling around one another as they travel, growing brighter and more brilliant as it travels. An explosion of massive proportions erupts once contact is made with any object, the opposing temperatures generally destroying most objects unfortunate enough to be caught in its blast. The technique appears rather heavy on Katsuo’s reiryoku, forcing him to use it sparingly.

Sōseijigitsune Tate (双生児盾, “Twin Fox Shield”)
Katsuo Once more crosses his blades one against the other, perpendicular against one another. A spherical wall appears before him, appearing mostly yellow with a mirror like sheen to it. A crystallization occurs after the combination of the combating temperatures, making a crystalline shield. Upon breaking of the shield, shards are left on the frozen blade, the left blade, that can potentially be used as a countermeasure. The radius of this barrier of sorts varies depending on the reiryoku fed into it.


Ōame no kitsunebi (大雨の狐火, “Heavy Rain of Foxfire”)
One of Eikōgitsune’s most dangerous abilities, arguably its strongest technique. Katsuo holds the blade’s parallel to one another, his reiatsu rising to startling levels. The climate within a certain radius to himself begins to shift violently from one extreme to another before what appears to be a mixture of yellow “rain” showers the area beneath. Those within the boundaries of the technique are overwhelmed with a burning sensation, the sensation of flesh melting away from bone plagues them. Their bodies become a patchwork of red and black, as if enduring frostbite as well as sunburn, growing worse so long as the technique remains active and they within its affected field. The technique appears to only harm spiritual beings, and those spiritually aware, regular humans unable to see the image let alone feel its effects. Katsuo himself appears otherwise immune to the ability, and claims to be able to selectively protect allies as well, avoiding collateral damage and friendly fire.

Bankai:

Kōtō Eikōgitsune (高騰栄光狐)
meaning; "Soaring Glorious Fox"
The luminous blades as seen in Shikai evolve into a fan with tails at the end, and ethereal fur between it's metal spikes. This form gives off the illusion that Eikōgitsune's Bankai is wind element based, however those sorely mistaken will soon realize Eikōgitsune retains her original "Non-elemental" capabilities. Both fans are capable of sending heated or freezing blasts similar to a blast of hot or cold air, however they are still just hot and cold energies.

Bankai special Ability
Katsuo's Zanpakuto integrates the hot and cold temperatures with energy in motion, as both temperatures combine and collide. This gives off the illusion that the Bankai is Wind based, but it's really the two temperatures combining over and over again, creating a swirling gas of varying temperatures, as if a harsh breeze blows across flesh causing burns almost like radiation. If you could sum up how this effect felt, it would be as if you are constantly affected by radioactive substances and surfaces. The opponent would feel both extreme cold and an extreme heat within the energy, causing random melting or black patch of dead flesh patterns all over parts of their body should any attack from Katsuo land. Those who stand to close up to 60 feet from either fan would almost instantly feel their effects, those standing to the right of Katsuo would feel the rapidly pulsating heat, those to the left would feel their muscles stiffen and bodies ache from the extreme cold.

Katsuo could produce a shot of energy with the radioactive effect by swirling these fans as if a part of a dance, only those who try to infiltrate the walls of this Tornado like funnel will involuntarily kill their flesh and burn their bones to ashes trying to enter. The extreme temperatures dissolve and disintegrate enemies if successful hits and continued bombardment persists, or if an opponent is foolish enough to attempt infiltrating the funnel while it's active.

Standing alone the fans are similar to Shikai but in their perfect form, their powers combine even further than before, providing further evidence that Eikōgitsune is one blade, divided into two. When Katsuo's inner balance is perfected, at last, Eikōgitsune's true beauty shall be revealed.

Personal Relationships:
Arashi Suta - Friend, and former Squad Mate, Lieutenant Of Division 5 - Katsuo and Arashi have been partners since before Oyama joined division thirteen and then some. Arashi used to get tea and sit at the main table of the barracks in division 13, Katsuo would sit there with him drinking a soda and listening to his music. They would occasionally talk during these few moments of peace; up until Tenzen saw Arashi’s strength and potential, and chose him to be his lieutenant, Katsuo misses those fleeting moments.

Oyama Hoshi - Friend and former Squad mate - Katsuo likes Oyama, but tries not to talk about his clan in front of her seeing as it only upsets her for reasons he understands. He sees Oyama as a little sister, and feels the need to protect her, sometimes even from herself, or Furia, which he feels could make Oyama do things that aren’t exactly ideal. Still, he did promise he wouldn’t seal her back, and hopes one day Oyama and Furia can find common ground and balance one another out. He anticipates seeing her full potential, and understands if she must change divisions to find it.

Himari Shimi - friend - Katsuo’s trips to the world of the living are not without seeing the face of this beautiful blue haired woman every time; he sometimes wonders if Tenzen puts her as a gate guardian to distract him. Katsuo finds Himari attractive physically and intellectually, and respects her as a woman and shinigami. He’s a bit shy when trying to give her objects of affection, but knows right now, Himari will see him as a friend, but feels not to give up, maybe one day she may see him differently.

Tenzen Oda - Older Brother, Captain of Squad 5 - Katsuo thinks the world and all of his amazing and intelligent brother; although he knows he is perfectly capable of taking care of himself and such, Katsuo would still lay his life to protect Tenzen, family and friendship are some of the most valuable things to Katsuo. He may be seen visiting Tenzen once or twice a week at division 5 barracks to give him food or other items from the world of the living as gifts or souvenirs after sharing his many adventures with his brother, which he likes that time very much.

Biography:
Odawara, Japan
Katsuo was enjoying a nice day on the rice farms, helping his mother and sister, when all hell broke lose. first was the sound of horses galloping across the marshy fields. a cloud of dust settled over the horizon, and watching it get closer his mother and sister had gotten scared. that was when his father came out on horseback and demanded they all went back into town, however he was shot down from his horse by a flying arrow, pierced through the heart his father was killed instantly. this made his mother and sister scream, and drop what they were doing to start running. he followed them, racing out toward the forest, but they were not alone. three of Oda's archers charged for them, and shot both his sister and mother down, one in the neck and the other in the back. Katsuo stopped and turned around, and by that time he too had succumbed to the violence raking his homeland. the final thing he witnessed before everything went black, was a hiding and trembling Fennec Fox, staring at him through the bushes. When he came to, he noticed his family was standing back up, they were all souls, their chains broken off from their bodies. they stayed together as a family for several years, however it was his father that turned into a hollow first. He devoured the mother's soul, the hollow's eyes still watery from tears. Katsuo and his sister ran away. It wasn't until their human bodies had almost nearly rotted away that they started getting the same symptoms as their father. they couldn't do a thing as their father's hollow found them, and devoured his sister first. it's silly... how one minute you are enjoying life, then the next your about to be eaten alive by the very person to contributed to your birth. Katsuo was so tired he couldn't even let out a scream as his dad yanked on his half-holed chain connected to his chest. Tired of running, no, tired of just... living. It's also funny how... sometimes when you are ready to give up, a sharp ray of light splits that depressional monster in two, the spirit of your father hugs you, then fades away into nothing. a woman... she placed the hilt of her katana onto Katsuo's head, and everything was washed away. The love he had of his family, the greed of his country, any future of living as a human, it faded away.

The Rukongai
Katsuo's life in the soul society started out like any other lost soul looking for a memory, without a past, without a life, and without a family. Several other children, all in varied ages, had gathered around him and given him a name, based on the time they spent with him. He had newborn chick blonde hair and ocean blue eyes, one of the orphans thought he looked like a hero, so named him Katsuo, which stood for Victorious Child. another child had recognized Katsuo was rather cheerful and happy, as well as insanely smart, dodging people he'd stolen food or other items from to survive left and right. so, they gave him his last name Toshiyuki. in all his name meant Victorious child of the clever and happy. Of course like many stories, some don't have such happy endings. The Orphaned children that so happily greeted young Katsuo met horrible ends, most on the same day as his adoption. Kyoki and Ten'yuu Oda were traveling to the Rukon District on word that a band of rogue Shinigami had attacked a town. If actuality, it wasn't a town, just a particular building. You see, the children spoofed, and stole food and supplies from the wrong people one day, and the next... met their demise. All of them but two of the older children were dead. The brown haired boy and Katsuo's friend Takui had lost his nerve and back bone, afraid of the pain and death the rogues had caused, and ran away, Leaving Katsuo to defend himself by himself with just an old rusty Tanto. What actually impressed, and coerced the Oda family to adopt the young man was his resolve. Despite facing death's door, despite staring those men in the eye, his untapped potential was capable of killing at least one of them before the two Shinigami jumped in. They already had a son of their own, but adopted Katsuo thinking he'd fit right into the Family.

The Oda Clan
Tenzen and Katsuo Oda were newfound brothers, and both had their differences, strength and weaknesses. Tenzen was remarkably only a few years older than Katsuo, but showed prowess as an expert in leadership, war strategy, and kido. Katsuo had his strengths too, courage, honesty, a warrior's heart, and strength. Where Katsuo failed a majority of the time in their academy classes in Kido, Tenzen wasn't very good at Hakuda. As the years past both grew and thrived off of making the other that much stronger in their weaknesses. Tenzen moved on to become head of the Oda clan, as his father was before him, and their grandfather before that. Katsuo However wanted to help people with his strengths, and decided to apply to be a Shinigami finally. Tenzen went on to be a member of the Kido corps division and Katsuo went for squad 13.

Xiaolin (少林寺, Xiaolin) is the Third Seat Officer of the Second Division, as well as the former Third Seat Officer of the Thirteenth Division of the Gotei Thirteen. He is the Headmaster of a martial arts institution in the Soul Society. Intertwined with the Second Division and as its Third Seat, Xiaolin became head of the Onmitsukidō's Detention Unit, in which he is noted to rule in fear. After he had deserted the Second Division for unknown reasons, he had been considered to have gone AWOL, resulting in titles being stripped away.

Xiaolin is a young man with light brown eyes. He has black hair where his sides are trimmed or shaved and the top is thicker. His hair is usually held up in a messy bun. He once wore the standard Shinigami attire of the Gotei 13 with dark orange monk beads around his neck. A red obi belt is wrapped around his waist where his zanpakuto are held, which are tied by a white sash. Five Months after his first unknown disappearance, he later dons a variant of the Shinigami attire; a long black robe that resembles a jiāshā, opening up down his lower body. Bearing two black gauntlets underneath his sleeves that reaches to his palm Xiaolin uses them to fend against fragile blades. He wears black pants to match and black slippers, further taking bringing out his Chinese concept.



Personality:
Growing up, Xiaolin was very adventurous, condescending, arrogant and boastful. A complete opposite of his family lineage; Xiaolin was the son and potential heir to the Yuinzang Temple, a temple and organization that specializes in Zanjutsu and Hakuda. His boastful arrogance ultimately led to him not being elected to look after the temple; citing to be the symbol Shinigami,
At some point during his early adulthood, the latter’s personality had only changed slightly. It had allowed him to lead the Yuinzang and recommendations for different squads.
Majority depicted as a nonchalant individual, Xiaolin is entitled, condescending and discourteous. He often displays a bleak outlook on life, unintentionally not permitting those to give their opinion on him as he simply does not acknowledge them, sometimes his own peers. Despite his discourteous nature, Xiaolin is very well psychiatrically knowledgeable to others; he can tell when someone is being sarcastic, lying or in denial. There are times where his nonchalance allows him to reach agreeable terms with fellow peers and can follow plans accordingly without having them fully explained. Seemingly prestigious at times, Xiaolin would sometimes expect rewards or praise for work that he does out of his way.
Around his own family is where Xiaolin seems to be more open and carefree, showing his obedience but also his lack of honorifics. His distinct personality instigates his subordinates and peers to question his purpose of being a soul reaper, to which he retaliates that individuals apart of the Gotei 13 serve one common purpose, with their own individual desires. He’s in no way a peace-maker, but can be prompted to act according to reason; Xiaolin can execute tasks with little to no effort alone ― slaughtering many and various opponents with no remorse. Decisions to challenge the latter prior to the outcome determines Xiaolin’s opinions on them. His nonchalant attitude is the reason of constant “displeased” or “unbothered” facial expressions. Even under critical circumstances or if situations exceeds his capabilities alone, he’ll refrain from showing struggle, claiming it to be a sign of weakness. His experience with psychiatric behaviors on others is what grants him the ability to elude from the actuality of his possible discomforts.

Immense Spiritual Power: Xiaolin has very refined control over his spiritual power, nearly to the point where it is scarcely acknowledged by captain-class Shinigami. It makes him a formidable combatant in terms of combat and finesse despite the serenity of its defined nature. The subtle exert of his spiritual pressure being detected by others know whether or not to determine any form of hostility from him within the first few seconds of feeling it. It's because of his refined use of his spiritual energy that unhesitatingly granted him Third Seat in both Second and Thirteenth Divisions. Like many that has masterful control over their power, Xiaolin can exert his Reiatsu as a quinacridone sienna color, as well as sense other spiritual power just as masterful. When released, it seeps from his body as a luminescent exo-skeleton that's able to blind people on sight, that settles and takes the appearance of bright flames covering his body, giving him a glowing aura. Xiaolin's spritual pressure generally has the same effect as his Zanpakutō, thus possessing many radiating concepts albeit the calmness of its nature. Despite the calmness and serene nature of Xiaolin's spiritual power, it is also highly monstrous. The latter's spiritual power can also be influenced by sunlight and other radiating energies. His spiritual power is even able to scorch, dehydrate, and burn those in range should he concentrate enough, as well as shield fairly from powerful attacks.

After the latter's unknown defection of the Gotei 13, his time outside of the Seireitei was invested into honing his spiritual energy to greater heights, even though it's of captain class already.

Zanjutsu(斬術, Swordsmanship; Viz "Art of the Sword")
Zanjutsu Expert: Although he prefers hand-to-hand combat, Xiaolin is proven to be a highly capable swordsman. With his sealed Zanpakutō, he's been able to cut many Menos and various Hollow with just a single strike. Xiaolin considers himself to be no where near prodigious in the form of Zanjutsu, despite wielding his Zanpakutō that is two Ko-Wakizashi, which is initially used for close-quarter combat to begin with. He's highly adapt in the form of Iaidō and fights brutally in the style of Dimachaerus, making him an ambidextrous fighter. Engaging in armed combat with his Zanpakutō , Xiaolin usually uses one of his blades at the beginning of battle. He has shown to never struggle or have a hard time drawing out his second blade in battle, no matter the situation or angle. This makes surprising an opponent one of his specialties in combat with his sword.

Kidō (鬼道, Demon/Spirit Way; Viz "Demon Arts")
Kidō Specialist: Rarely used, Xiaolin specializes in a handful of Kido. The latter can perform only a select few with ease, albeit with an incantation. He has general knowledge of low-to-mid Kido and is able to distinguish them just by hearing half of the incantation.

Hakuda (白打, White Hits; Viz "Hand-to-Hand Combat")
Master Hakuda Combatant: As one that exceeded all Shinigami within the Thirteenth Divison and known to even be more formidable in this style than his own captain in the Second, Xiaolin is one of the most experienced Hand-to-Hand combatants in all of the Gotei 13. His various forms of fighting has even made him a threat to the brawlers of the Ninth, and is the Headmaster of the Yuinzang Temple. With simultaneous use of his remarkable speed and Hakuda, Xiaolin is is more than capable of dispatching many group of enemies with ease. He executes his style in unarmed combat with much finesse, coordinating time, speed , and angles with no trouble at all. Born into a family of highly capable martial artists, Xiaolin has become a master in his own right―developing a unique form of hand-to-hand combat that allows him to take different approaches in battle where his striking power and its result is scaled at different levels.

In battles he knows he'd succeed in with ease, Xiaolin's approach is always formless. It allows the opponent to not be able to deduce any form of muscle intention he'd make until at the very last second, counteracting the opponent's strike delivered to him. His strikes are dealt with nothing but the greatest accuracy, never missing vital points he'd intend to strike unless it's physically blocked against. Similar to his Zanpakutō , Xiaolin is a master in Baguazhang. determining the amount of damage inflicted on an opponent internally. Observant in hand-to-hand combat, his dexterity and perception goes hand in hand when evading crucial blows and can disable joints.

His mastery in Hakuda doesn't come without knowledge. As one who truly hones his skill in hand-to-hand combat and is the instructor of a martial arts temple(being his family's legacy), Xiaolin is noted to have knowledge of nearly all forms of fighting, even the styles he does not seem to make use of. Should an opponent use a unique form of combat, Xiaolin is able to analyze their moves very quickly, as well as countering them before the opponent even realizes his intentions. Such experience is what gives him the fearsome reputation as the head of the Detention Unit of the Onmitsukidō. He rules in absolute fear because of the abilities to dispatch any prisoner with little to no effort as it is a weapons-free zone in the Nest of Maggots.


Known Techniques: Sōkotsu, Ikkotsu, Oni Dekopin, Chinmoku, Itsutsu no densetsu no shūshū
Hohō (歩法, Step Method; Viz "Fast Movement")
Shunpo Master : Complimenting his mastery of Hakuda is his proficient use of Shunpo. Xiaolin travels long distances while treading lightly on his feet, with the least footsteps. Like gliding with the wind, his change in location and posture is never heard, moving elegantly across water and solid grounds. In combat when making use of his speed, Xiaolin's attacks is usually noted to make no sound at all. Even with intended force, this renders a blind person useless as the force of his attacks are only felt after they hit. Success with consecutive strikes are also complimented by his proficient speed in shunpo; he's able to perform nearly hundreds to thousands of quick strikes while appearing as if he never moved. His speed allows him to move at excelling speeds, like many Shunpo Masters, to create intangible clones of himself to serve as a distraction.

His stamina to make use of his undoubtedly fast movements allows him to participate in competing with other masterful Shunpo Masters. As if he couldn't exhaust himself, Xiaolin was one that actually trained in being able to retain his stamina while closing such a vast gap between him and his intended target(or destination). The latter can also seemingly disappear without a trace, as well as re-appearing without a trace to those who aren't masters of detection.

Master Tactician: Xiaolin has been given praise for his plans in battle. Likewise, he is able to follow and execute plans accordingly when they are talked over.. In battle, he’s able to analyze situations, knowing when to carry out attacks with accuracy.
Master Psychiatrist: Familiar with how the mind works, Xiaolin can identify one’s nature based on their posture, expression and tone of voice. He is also capable of detecting when being lied to, others being manipulated, and powerful illusions.
Immense Strength: Despite his slim physique, Xiaolin is a very strong Shinigami, especially for one of his said physique and age. His family are noted to be highly strong in which they’re all likely heavily handed fighters.
Nunchakuka: Is the practical use of fighting with Nunchaku. Xiaolin's Zanpakutō is a double edged Nunchaku while in Shikai form. Rarely using his Zanpakutō at all, Xiaolin's nunchaku releases monstrous force when swung, shattering boulders and can even trade blows with heavier-weighted Zanpakutō.

Zanpakuto: Sennichi Mannotaiyō
Release Phrase: Sorera o keihatsu shi, sen-nichi, (それらを啓発し、千日, “Enlighten them, Sennichi”)
Zanpakuto Appearance: Xiaolin’s Zanpakuto, Sennichi is a pair of Wakizashi when sealed. The hilt is wrapped in an orange tsuka with a gold fuchi, tsuba, sepoa and habaki. Xiaolin carries both of them on his left hip.

Zanpakuto Spirit: Sennichi Mannotaiyō (万の太陽千日, Ten Thousand Suns) is the manifested spirit of Xiaolin’s Zanpakuto. Its manifested form takes the appearance of a young woman with blonde hair that has a white snake coiled around her at times. The snake is said to be her brother, who is able to speak in the snake form. The female is presented as Mannotaiyō and the snake is presented as Sennichi. Unexpectedly, Mannotaiyō bears a similar personality to Xiaolin, but does so in more ways he expresses, even more hateful than the latter seems to be. She actually reveals her emotions and does not hide them, often scolding Xiaolin for being so self-centered and criticizes his actions more than the opponents they face. Sennichi, unlike Mannotaiyō is more calm and collected, yet bears great wisdom, being the oldest sibling. As a duo, the two share a strong desire in wanting to enlighten those who had lost their will, abilities and moralities. They justify these methods by guaranteeing death as their spirit being set free, guaranteeing "peace and light". Sennichi addresses Xiaolin as “Master Xiaolin” whereas Mannotaiyō just calls him by his first name.

Inner World: It consists of a bridge illuminated in nearby lights. The bridge leads to a room where a large, never ending illuminating statue glows and is a golden color. In absolute focus, free of all distractions, the bridge remains intact. Should Xiaolin never be at peace within himself, the bridge disappears. The Statue inside is a Buddharupa, that only makes facial expressions when spoken to or worshiped. It is the father of Sennichi Mannotaiyō where Sennichi Mannotaiyō speaks for their father. They state he speaks to them mentally, in ways Xiaolin cannot comprehend. In the room, Xiaolin sits and meditates to take in the knowledge the Buddharupa may have.

Ah yes, no cutting. Absolutely crushing you is what I prefer anyway.

Shikai: Its command is “Enlighten them" (それらを啓発し、千日, Sorera o keihatsu shi, sen-nichi,). Initiating the transformation, Xiaolin grabs Sennici by both hilts and spins them. A bright light is emitted from them, noting it is the zanpakuto changing into a different object.The light generally keeps the opponents or bystanders at bay. After the light disappears, the now transformed Shikai appears as a medium, double-edged nunchaku with dark orange wraps at the base of the two edges. The Nunchaku is broken into four different sections, connected by a chain and can extend up 90.91cm. Xiaolin holds the nunchaku by one of the dark orange wraps in one hand. Unlike other Zanpakuto, Sennichi in its released state does not inflict external damage. It is all internal, mortally wounding someone with great severity. With every swing, it generates a stream of light then intends to strike its intended target. Should it make physical contact with its target, they glow from the inside out, resembling a human-made lantern. Their bodies eventually melt away from the inside. Since it does not slash and inflicts internal damage, it does bash at the surface of targets.
Shikai Special Ability: Yoakenokyūkei
Yoakenokyūkei: (夜明けを通して活気づけられる, "Energized Through Daybreak") is the most common feat of Sennichi. Literal to its namesake, Sennichi’s strength and durability increases significantly during the time of day. In battle, the amount of wavelengths and friction built up is what feeds the nunchaku, giving it the chances of prevailing significantly higher as the Shikai is enhanced ten times as much. This is not to be mistaken as absorption or taking in the opponent’s energy and releasing it back to them, but the nunchaku keeps its power throughout the day. Should the nunchaku break through whatever means, it can be restored so long as it keeps clashing from the time of daybreak.

Gaidotēma: (ガイドテーマ, "Guide Them") Spinning the nunchaku, a bright light emits from it with the false intention of blinding them. Should an opponent close their eyes, the immense imprints given from the nunchaku plays in the Target’s mind over and over again. Denying that it’s just an imprint from the light, the image won’t stop replaying. This will eventually blind the opponent permanently without any use of attacking them physically to rid them of their eyesight.

Fusoku Kōgeki: (不測攻撃 "Unforeseen Strike") If Xiaolin wanted to get the upper-hand in the element of surprises, he'd use the light to turn the nunchaku invisible. With a swing, Xiaolin allows Sennichi to disappear before the eyes who witnesses it. Invisible to the eye, this permits Xiaolin to launch a series of strikes with Sennichi acting as a mere extension of them. It retains the same affects as it would visible, still producing the streaks of light with a mere swing. Utilizing this technique doesn't exactly prevent Sennichi from being seen; it casts a shadow, in which the opponents would likely focus on to make of the next intended strike. This apparent flaw is noted to not always be the best way to fend against Sennichi as the angles and positioning of the shadow won't show where the attack will land directly.

Sennichi Mannotaiyō, Koete Jjōshō Ssuru (万の太陽千日超えて上昇する, "Ascend Beyond Ten Thousand Suns"; Viz: Mend The Heavens With Ten Thousand Suns): Whether holding his Zanpakuto or keeping it sheathed, going into bankai causes both of the blades to gleam then vanish as if it were being evaporated. In this state, Xiaolin is capable of making use of both ends of the light spectrum. The visible flow of energy travels to Xiaolin’s forehead to imprint a symbol, revealing a chinese character of “One” (果). The Latter’s eyes fade into having no clear pupils and a clear iris. Several Spokes generate throughout his body, layering and counteracting with the pre-existing spokes and wavelengths within a seven kilometer radius. This causes the area around Xiaolin to change saturation and hue. One classifies this as an illusion, but everything aside from that feat occurs in real time. This change is noted to rid clouds from the sky, reacting to Xiaolin’s immense spiritual power. The shinigami refers to this method as Sennichi, Mannotaiyō and Xiaolin becoming one as a unique entity. The aforementioned spokes from the gleam of light that appears and disappears from Xiaolin does not necessarily fade out of existence. The light is just manipulated to a lower wavelength in the spectrum. He is capable of, in addition to accumulating energy from the sun, altering the positions of the light and its wavelength to make him seemingly invisible.
Bankai Special Ability: Kōsen no kaiten saikuru, Zankōnounmei
Bankai Regeneration: Now that his body is merged with his Zanpakuto, Xiaolin is capable of having the attributes Sennichi Mannotaiyō has alone; Should he use the bankai during the day, his prowess increases ten times as much even in said state. If he were to be cut or dealt with great wounds, he can regenerate them almost immediately..

Kōsen no kaiten saikuru: ( 光線の回転サイクル, "Spinning Cycle of Ray Beams"). Employing the use of the gleamed spokes that was once emitted from his body, Xiaolin twirls his right index finger in the direction of the opponent, emitting a total of four rays that extends approximately thirty feet. One does not get cut or pierced, but wherever the spokes land, is what disappears. One has great trouble out maneuvering the technique; The spokes/rays appear out of thin air and are very versatile, further making this technique one of the most dangerous. Should it be blocked out by some sort of dark entity, the rays would just alter its shape to reach its intended target.

Kurēnkattā: (クレーンカッター, "Crane Cutter") is where Xiaolin can make use of his unique form of combat, in the style of the crane. Extending his arm towards his opponent, be it multiple or just one, he places his palm downward, having all four fingers point towards the target, firing a blade composed of energy. Unlike Kōsen no kaiten saikuru, Kurēnkattā does pierce and goes through the target, emitting light inside of their bodies. The minimum range is fifteen feet but can be extended up to twenty. Being a straightforward attack, it can be easily dodged. The Kurēnkattā is able to pierce through many low-to mid Kido.

Yata no Kagami: (八咫傀儡," Eight Span Puppets") With a mere gesture of his hands, Xiaolin is able to summon several lanterns , with a glowing magatama in the center. The lanterns glow and have bright flames emitting from them. . The lanterns act as a catalyst for the whole technique. Those that are caught within Xiaolin's light radius of can likely become victims of this technique, though the latter is capable of choosing who make the rays of light shine upon. Though it doesn't do physical harm, the light rays illuminate the target, in which it's copying their entire appearance, creating replicas. These replicas appear in the center of the lanterns, only appearing as silhouettes and they imitate the target's movement only as long as they are under the light rays. Not needing to exert any more energy at this point, the octet of lanterns then shatters, changing the once silhouetted replicas into human-like camouflaged entities that only resembles the outline of the opponent’s replicated. Depending on said movements, these replicas can either form act on the defensive or offensive, making them have great versatility. The replicas cannot perform any unique ability the opponent make be capable of, such as performing their bankai, however they can still imitate their move sets of said unique techniques. They are able to cause physical harm, in which every attack is done scorches the target. Xiaolin can only use this technique once a day.

•The name Xiaolin is a homophonic play on the word Shaolin. Xiaolin is based on the concept of Shaolin Monastery, depicted as a living entity of Chan Buddhism.
•The practice of Xiaolin’s Itsutsu no densetsu no shūshū has been influenced in the Human World by previous headmasters of the Yuinzang Temple.
•Xiaolin was often eager to get his father’s approval, willing to showboat to do so.
•He is some-what obsessed with lemons and lemon-based beverages. Offering him one or the other makes him happy.
•He loves barbecue meals
•Xiaolin’s family is very close with the Shihoin Family
•He oftentimes mouths off at those that oversteps their authority, usually being the result of him getting into trouble.
•Despite being mostly cold and distant to others, Xiaolin does not appreciate any form of taunting or bullying towards others. He intervenes when he sees it.
•Xiaolin's 'Yata no Kagami' is based on the ancient form of Shadow Play
•In his personal quarters, Xiaolin has a shelf dedicated to various monks.
•The concept of Sennichi Mannotaiyō is based of the two Chinese Deities, Nu Wa and Fuxi who are brother and sister, but are married to each other. In this Role-Play, they are just siblings with Sennichi, being based on Fuxi and Mannotaiyō being based on Nu Wa.
