Rukongai ———————————— traveling to ———————————— Southwest Seireitei
The walk back from the Rukongai was longer than what it was than when he had left with the two other First Division members who had gone back to their own barracks to report from the task that they had performed at his division. He delayed the walk somewhat, trying to imagine what he should say to the other members of Sixth. Shirogane, former Third Seat of the squad was the de-facto leader with their rudderless steering without a proper Captain. Although he had leadership capabilities, his mind was clouded by dark thoughts and thus felt necessary to act against the Seireitei and even potentially as far as plotting against the Soul Society. Going as far as manipulating Central 46 with his position as false Kuchiki Clan head. Slaughtering them all to reach his own goals and make his own dividends.
It was no secret Shusuke had no love for him in the squad. They were around the same age but he was his senior at the time of his arrival into the Division. The two immediately butted heads and even went as far as nearly crossing blades in the middle of the courtyard in front of many witnesses. Despite this however, they made an interesting team when in the field as their both combined intelligences can feed off of the other and confound the enemy into complete surrender. All the while, one is trying to outdo the other at the same time. They shared a complicated relationship for sure, but as his superior Shusuke always respected him to that small degree, but nothing more. Now that he was gone and he received his promotion, it was time for him to step up and re-shape the division into the model division it once was. The perception was now similar if not worse than Second’.
They were no assassins, they were elite Shinigami with no disrespect to the talented members of that Division however Shusuke truly found a home in the Sixth Division, memorizing the regulations of the Soul Society. He has helped police the laws of the Seireitei for what would seem to be One hundred years now, with a high rate of catching the criminals that go awry within the Gotei 13. He felt it was his duty as a Soul Reaper, as they all went through the academy and learned what it took to be a Shinigami. It was shameful with the amount of people who had forgotten the laws once they graduated and became an officer, within twenty years they’d have forgotten rules one through them all. No. This wasn’t the way and he intended to remind his members hoping that they had not forgotten either.
Upon reaching the gate he was sussed out by an unseated member of Sixth, calling himself Shusuke’ friend but in all actuality he really thinks he's a pest. Rolling his eyes he walks past Kazama without giving him a lingering look.
”What, you’re just gonna walk past me like that Shu? I wanted to know what the deal was with this meeting. What’s up, Mac?”
Shusuke stops walking and looks back at Kazama Tekichi, unseated member of Sixth Division and the bane of Shusuke’s existence. The look of boredom and annoyance on his face couldn’t be explained, he stood there and eyed Tekichi up and down with his purple globes.
”....What did I say about calling me that? You want En’enra to give you nightmares Tekichi? ugh….Y’know what I don't have the energy. Just get your ass to the meeting.”
And with that he turned on his heel and continued walking off to the hall, with Kazama right behind him badgering him with more questions. As the two would walk into the halls of the barracks, the other members were all swarming in and some followed along with Shusuke and greeted him as they passed by, he wasn’t the most popular, but he was liked well enough. The others felt a certain way towards him when he attempted to become Captain many years ago, and upon his failure wished for a potentially worse fate. He ignored them however, never stopping his stride in the search of excellence. He now had several men following behind him including Tekichi, it was odd. Having men at his back, but it felt good. Great even. However that time would pass as he would now reach the inner chambers of the division, the Great Hall. lined with many seats and for those who would not benefit they could stand as there was plenty of space to fit 500 men and women at arms. The space was shaped like a university classroom, a pedestal of sorts at the base but the hall was in a sconce formation as the memers eased themselves into the aisles and sat down before the meeting.
Shusuke filed down the bottom and Tekichi was right behind him in the first row to look Shusuke in his face the entire time of the meeting. His ugly mug would be hard to NOT[ look at while he's trying to address everyone. But He’ll have to muddle through some way or another. After about another five minutes, the remaining members walked in and made themselves as comfortable as possible. It was odd seeing the entire squad like this, with him at the center of attention. He didn't know that many of them would heed the call like this, maybe he had more sway around here than he had assumed. He lowered his hood and relieved himself of his white cloak as he tossed it into the face of Kazama, much to his dismay.
Shusuke would clap his hands together to get the chatter to die down, a sound boomed throughout the room, silencing all conversation and acquiring all attention.
”Thanks for coming. I'm going to get to the point and just lay it all out. The rumors about Shirogane Kuchiki are true. As we all know, he manipulated certain events that led to his death in the Rukongai, and the re-birth of certain individuals who now work within the Gotei 13. This being said, Our reputation as a LAW ABIDING is at stake now. This is now two divisions that are seemingly turn cloaks and backstabbers.”
At this point he started to pace back and forth, feeling the truth in his words.
”As your new Third Seat, I won't allow it. As a law-abiding Shinigami, I won't allow it. For the rest of you to be seen as lesser men and women than yourselves, I will not allow it. Conduct yourselves in a just manner going forth, never turn your nose to another but make then know where you stand. You’re the Sixth Division, Cobalt Blue and proud. Show the Gotei 13 that we still stand as one of its upper echelon squads and that we don't back down to anyone. When you leave this hall today, resume your tasks and assignments, execute for excellence and above all. Do not back stab anyone in this room. That is all.”
He walked off of the stage and sat in a chair off to the side after receiving a small ovation from his peers, with a few even coming up to him to thank him for the empowering statement. He felt no different, he believed in what he was saying but it was now time to act on it. Kazama came over and delivered his cloak to him and gave him a fist bump in respect for his superior. This made Shu smile and he bumped him back, sending Kazama away to go do his duties. He now sat alone in the hall. Looking up at the ceiling, pondering the possibilities beyond him.

The tension in the room increased and the veteran's pride got the better of him because a new member was ranked above him, he wanted to show that the seat is no more than a number in Ryuga's eyes. But deep down he wants to show that their division is the strongest and not just because of their powerful captain. And suddenly Ryuga felt two Reiatsu's approaching, one he recognized immediately that being their Lieutenant Kasumi while the second one did he not recognize at all but felt it was large. Just when he actually felt them, she stepped into the room and his attention towards Gorou and Shizuka was moved to her. Ryuga also saw another shinigami she was dragging behind her and he couldn't help but feel sorry for the person.
"You called for me, Taichou?"
Kasumi started talking in a what seemed annoyed voice as she walked further into the room with a person on the floor behind her. She walked past Ryuga, Gorou and Shizuka and a quick glance from the Lieutenant was all gived from her towards her fellow seated members. And as Kasumi got up to Higen she then releases the person in front of him from her hard grip.
”Oh, by the way.. I brought along the fresh meat, er...the OTHER, fresh meat.”
She continued to speak in the same tone before going to Higen's side and leaving the newcomer on the floor. But Ryuga's eyes behind his dark sunglasses don't stop to looking at the person she left behind.
Could it be him? the little boy from so long ago?
Ryuga thought to himself and checked out the details that stood out. His brown skin tone, short dual-colored hair of lilac and black.
It's Izanagi I'm sure of it! And he most have made Lieutenant Kasumi mad by the looks of him.
Seeing him again after all these years warmed the veteran's otherwise cold heart and he becoming a shinigami made Ryuga very proud. While he thinks back to how he left the two colored haired boy drunk of a roof.
"Actually, she hit me. And no. I am in no mood to fight. Do that crap on your on-time dammit!"
Surprised over Izanagi's outburst, Ryuga takes a deep sigh and his gaze is moved from the boy and up to their captain that started to speak. And presents the Lieutenant of the 10th division Kasumi the second shinigami in the room that Ryuga knew he stood no chance against in combat. Though he did not see their seats as something important, he knew that her knowledge and skills surpassed his own several times. But when the captain presents Izanagi with also a seated title that is just one under his own a large smile appear on Ryuga's face as he once again looks down at Izanagi.
“And Izanagi, 6th Seated Officer."
6th seat huh? Not bad kid not bad at all.

Ryuga is still quiet but thought to himself the whole time.
"6th Seat I see, you must be really impressive"
Shizuka's voice did not lie and Ryuga agreed that it was impressive for Izanagi to get seated and not only that but also just one lower then himself.
Ryuga-Divider.png

But suddenly from nowhere appears a white hooded person directly next to Lieutenant Kasumi. And this was the first time Ryuga ever seen a messenger from the First Division with his own eyes. But since the Captain did not seem surprised or actually show any signs of hostility, Ryuga knew there was nothing to worry about. This mysterious person held an envelope towards their captain and told him that the Captain Commander wanted to see him. And the captain gave a calm look towards the messenger and grabbed the envelope. And as soon the Captain has taken the paper the white hooded man is surrounded by a black reiatsu and in an instant he was gone, leaving no trace of his presence.
Ryuga-Divider.png

After Shizuka opens the door to their captain who is already on the way to the exit would Ryuga turn around and take out his Zanpakutō from its sheath. Then will he grab hold of the handle with both his hands and uttering the release command.
'Tear it apart Amikiri!'
And the whole blade glow in a golden and red color and as the sword itself disappears so will the light that was around it be around Ryuga's two hands that he slowly separating. As the light around his hands fades away so will his Shikai be shown as it takes the appearance of a unique design of a pair golden and red gauntlet gloves with a trio of grand, curving blades extend out from between the four knuckle-guards.
ryuga_shikai-1-2.png

''I'll be back,I have to take care of my wounds.''
Ryuga felt still how some of the wounds he received from training with his Zanpakutō spirit still was bleeding and needed to actually take care them as quickly as possible.
''And Shizuka you don't have to wait for me. I know exactly where we gather now that new members have arrived.''
With the words said, Ryuga takes a fully upright stance with the legs shoulder-width apart and just to show he makes a quick, straight punch with his right gauntlet glove and keeping the left one raised up a little bit away from his left side of the face. And with a small, clockwise rotation of the torso and hips, the fist rotates 90 degrees, becoming horizontal upon impact in the air. As the punch reaches full extension, the right shoulder is brought up to guard the chin. The left hand remains next to his face like it is guarding the jaw. The trio of grand, curving blades seems to disappear into the air but a small glow is still around the small part of the blades that is still visible.
''Blinking Passage ( 点滅通路, "Tenmetsu Tsūro"; "Flashing Passage").''
And with the words said almost whispering, he makes a simple motion and pulls his right hand down. The blades slowly rip open a rift in the fabric of space infront of Ryuga in the shape of a tear that fast opens up to a size that would allow him to walk easy into it. As Ryuga tears open the rift another matching rift opens simultaneously inside of his room. And with easy steps, Ryuga enters the tear and ends up in his own room. As the man steps into the room, the tear closes quickly and he is gone from sight, leaving no trace of his presence. When he comes from the rest of the division to take care of his wounds in solitude, he draws a deep sigh.
The kid really survived, who could have believed it? Izanagi the 6th seat sounds good indeed and that he ended up with the 10th division is perfect.
Ryuga pleased by this and deactivates his shikai as he sits on a wooden chair next to a table he has in the room. On the table there are cigars and a zippo lighter and After placing his Zanpakutō on the floor standing and leaning against the said table he picks up and lights a cigar.

The brief chaos that ensued within the office was a byproduct of a multitude of different personalities nestled within such a small space. It all became triviality, voices fading out besides a single one. Its dark undertone far surpassed any of those within the office, and lacked familiarity even among the newly inducted members.

“Captain Kagayaki, orders for you from the Captain Commander sir”
It was there, then it wasn’t. The Captain had not felt the messenger’s approach, but was not alarmed by the voice either. Against his hand that laid to rest at his side was the rubbing friction of parchment against soft skin. Before his sentence was finished he had already ensured that the message had reached Higen’s hands, and his only. Most had saw the messenger come and go, yet all knew not to make a fuss about it. Those who knew him would understand his next actions well, continuing to stroke his beard after they’d gone outside would display the deep thought he’d dove into while staring at the Captain Commander’s seal.Shizuka understood his task well enough, even with very few words of direction. He was young, but a veteran all-while; well versed in Higen’s mannerisms, wants, and needs—along with being a prominent enforcer on the field of battle. In a way, this was a test for both him and the new additions, a chance for them all to scrap for the Captain’s favor. Little did they know the Captain would not remain, but their efforts would be acknowledged nonetheless. As Shizuka walks over to the courtyard’s center and prods the two officers to step forward, Higen’s full attention shifts back to the envelope, somewhat reluctant to break its seal. Despite his hesitance, he proceeds.
Quote: Captain Kagayaki,
You and your fellow Captains have been summoned for a meeting. You are to report to the Captains Hall immediately.
For a brief moment the Captain freezes, until his reiryoku teems at the tip of his fingers, potent enough to turn the paper into nothingness. A meeting, called by the old man? Higen was a man who understood many things well enough to make sense of them, even if he’s not described as the most intellectual. One thing he knew for sure, perhaps in the time of Commander Shunkan these meetings were customary, but during Shobatsu’s reign they were far and few. Shobatsu selection of Captains differed slightly from the standard, encouraging their independence far more than any commander before him. Even in the most turmoil-filled times he remains on his throne pulling little strings, leaving all within the hands of his Captains. For him to call a meeting, means things as a whole have reached a state all too dire. The year was rough, filled with disdain and confusion. Soul Society was in a weakened state, or at least it seemed—and any enemy in their right mind would both notice and capitalize on this discordance.
He looks up from the fingers where the letter formerly stood, looking around only to catch the last of Ryuga’s frame entering one of his rifts. He’d hardly saw him release his zanpakuto, let-alone begin to exit. His gaze shifts to Lieutenant Kasumi next, delegating to her as he did often.
“I’m needed elsewhere, and it’s urgent.”
He announces, before leaning over to tell her something closer to her ear.
“Make sure these idiots don’t destroy the division, hm?”
He said with a smile, before making his way towards the courtyard’s exit via an archway that had the Division’s lettering as a figurehead. No mistake was to be made, this meeting had every chance to be calamitous.

Izanagi's random outburst didn't bother him, or instead, he was oblivious to it how the others took it. Not a single apology or a show of embarrassment that most people would react. This behavior is just one of the many strange things about Izanagi, and one should be able to tell not only from some random outburst talking to himself but how he calmly he looked. Not a single worried expression what others may think. It is possible that maybe he has grown to people's reactions long enough that it doesn't bother him any longer what people think or feel? In any case, Captain Kagayaki introduced not only to the bully, Lt. but he picked her up by the head too.
"Damn. Doesn't that hurt?"
Izanagi wondered while looking upon a small showing of the Captain's large hand grasping the Lt's head like a beachball. That is to be expected from a man that single-handedly saved the Soul Society. But then he moved on to introduce Izanagi to the rest of them as the 6th seated member of the squad. Izanagi still thought it was a mistake to place him as a ranked member with no Shikai. That was the main reason in wanting to find the captain was to ask if this was a mistake? Izanagi is wishing to know the real reason for bringing him here in the first place. But the stroking of the Captain's beard had been oddly intimidating. He soon thought that maybe trying to ask about all this at a different time. You could even see an anime sweatdrop on the side of Izanagi's head while backing out of the idea of talking to the Captain right now.
"6th Seat I see, you must be really impressive."
Izanagi didn't comment on that, and in fact, he didn't give off any cocky smile or a smart ass remark. Izanagi brought up a hand to the back of his head, rubbing it while dropping his head, letting out a soft sigh in the process. In his mind, he knows that he's going to have to prove to them out in the field and that they are going to want to see what he brings to the table. Not something Izanagi intends to do, to prove his worth, more reason why he has chosen to be a nobody under the eleventh division guarding gates all day. A simple life. But now all eyes were on himself, a newbie, a rookie and now he expects that good old fashion rookie welcome. Similar to how gangs are in the rukon districts, where they harass the new face of the fold, making them do everything under the sun. Izanagi was far too lazy to be forced to do anything. He would have to find ways to avoid work much as possible if that was to come to pass.
Higen-Divider.png

Without further ado, a new voice entered inside of this quarter, and this individual didn't make a peep. Not even a single sign of them coming in was heard, his voice was the only thing that was present before noticing he even existed. This display made Izanagi eyes widen just a tad, but moreso confused on how the hell he moved so fast without making a sound.
The clad figure dressed in white hand the Captain what appears to be an envelope. Now what was inside of this was anyone's guess, a messenger in question mentioned an arrangement with the Captain Commander.
"What is this arrangement? I wonder."
It was then the figure had already disappeared before Izanagi even realized he was gone.
"So fast!"
Izanagi had been amazed at the so-called messenger that came in and out without a peep. It makes him wonder if all First division was that skilled. If so, he would hate to go against them. But he knows Akuma would like the challenge them. Then a powerful tone of the Captain's voice immediately gotten Izanagi's attention. Where he had been so lost in thought from what he witnessed that he hasn't even realized he follows the group. The courtyard that been introduced to them was so vast that it almost seems like a whole another division itself.
Shizuka happens to walk away from the group when being called by the captain.
“How about you welcome our newcomers in a.. Tenth Division fashion.”
The Captain said.
"Wait....what? What the hell is tenth division fashion?"
Higen-Divider.png

Izanagi grew curious and wondered what was this division fashion he speaking on? Could it be they had to do something drastic like a walk on hot coal across the field? Perhaps perform 1000 reps of intense workout? Unfortunately, it was neither of that for the 3rd seat member, Shizuka flared his reiatsu where it formed into what could be similar to that of a stream of electricity. That is when Izanagi begin to realize it was a fight, though he wondered why it had to be so intense. Was he trying to show off or intimidate them by showing how powerful he is or even just a small taste? What a pain this was and unnecessary in the eyes of Izanagi. Which made him sigh a bit knowing there was no backing out of this at all. And now rather than later, they get to see what he is made of, that's only if this beast doesn't go overboard. And it isn't Shizuka that Izanagi would be referring too.
Shizuka looked in his direction with patronizing eyes that didn't bother Izanagi himself, but it disturbed the devil inside a bit. To him, Shizuka was a nobody, an opponent that does not even deserve to look upon him in such a way as if they were equal. Although, that sort of disturbance of the beast remains hidden and controlled.
"Gorou, Izanagi, let's see what you two are made of.........both of you come on."
Shizuka challenged them by allowing them to make the first move, without so much as drawing his blade or having not a single stance whatsoever. Because they were ranked lower than him, he dared to make light of them both. It was utterly disrespectful. Within the depths of Izanagi's subconscious, the creature had a soft growl about him, echoing through the prison.
"I don't like this cocky bastard."
Meanwhile, Izanagi stood there wondering about his first move or if he should move at all. Not even sure how capable or skilled the other guy is, but he is ranked higher. If anything, it would be best to follow his lead unless......his eyes shifted while his face remained straight ahead towards Shizuka's position.
"Name Gyro right? Alright, listen...I am not sure how good you are. But I can tell you right now I have no Shikai. So I'll play distraction and move in, and you strike for an opening, got it?"
Simple. Easy to do, right? Neither of them knows each other, let alone have any chemistry. So it was best to share relevant information quickly and decisively. Izanagi didn't care about winning, but he wanted to hurry this along to end this, trouble was brewing. And it would be within everyone's best interest if they were introduced to something worst than himself. He did not wish to fight or bring harm, but he shall do what he must. With that said, Izanagi carefully studied the individual from head to toe, movement, and all. He was by no means a master within fighting unhands or with a weapon. However, he does have an understanding of how to wield a weapon, footwork, and anticipating his opponent's movements. It just comes down to how skilled the opponent is vs. is own, but nothing would become of it only by standing still waiting to happen.
By that, Izanagi knew that Shizuka was looking for them to attack, but for someone to be that cocky must be confident. Izanagi saw how far apart they were and instantly went and made a b-line towards Shizuka with no weapon drawn, but the left hand was directly underneath the guard of his zanpakuto. The thumb was pressed against the crimson surface of the square guard, only enough force that there was a soft 'click' with a quarter-inch of the metal sword exposed. Unknown to his ally and opposing target. The distance between them was only 10 feet gap in which Izanagi was only sprinting across that distance with no enhanced speed or dashing. While the left hand is placed on the casing, the right arm was stretched out while he ran. And of course, the distance was closing and closing until the left foot momentarily became the leading foot. Where it signifies the timing for Izanagi to push the guard more with much more force as the blade begins to show more of its beauty of pure stainless steel. As the light itself reflected off the flat side of the edge, while simultaneously, Izanagi's right hand had crossed over to meet with the handle. By the time his palm grips the twenty-seven inch, grey leather skin. The right leg became the leading leg, which that step was much more extensive than the last—leaving him to draw out the sword fully from its case quickly and precisely to where it was drawn up into a diagonal angle from 2 feet of distance between himself and Shizuka. The length of the blade itself was long enough to reach the rest of the way to slash the left hip up to the right shoulder, which would be Shizuka right hip, left shoulder. However, such a primary step and strike shouldn't be so easy to land a hit on him. Izanagi expects him to side-step the attack or to move backward, away from the sword's length itself.
After the sword swipes the air to strike the opposing target, the angle of the strike would shift into a seigan no kame stance where the point of the sword would be angle towards Shizuka's eyes. Placing weight firmly into on the back of the rear foot, which would be Izanagi's left foot, the same leg would be slightly bent. The right leg is more straight than bent while having his body slightly leaning away.

Gorou framed a mental snapshot after the introduction of his peers. The individuals present in the room made up the current seated officers of a growing Tenth Division. Gorou studied each of his comrades' demeanor thoroughly, and will learn much more as the group's bonds grow. Gorou remained calm, cold...he listened on as the captain continued to brief his new subordinates. The room that was once filled with vibrant spiritual pressure quickly dissipated without notice. A foreign voice invaded Gorou's ears, making it the only thing audible for a brief moment. His attention shifted; his eyes quickly searched for the source of the voice. A white hood seemed to have manifested from nothing. Gorou's muscles tensed, he instinctively went to grab for his Zanpakuto. An object, maybe an envelope, was quickly handed to Higen. A gleam from a polished purple sticker caught Gorou's eyes. "Ichiban", Gorou said to himself as he recognized the first division's iconic insignia. He was sure this messenger was sent from the commanding officers division, but was curious to why he would be here. The messenger vanished before Gorou was even able to grasp his Zanpakuto. The captain seemed to remain calm after reading the message, but Gorou was sure Higen's tact was polished. What was enclosed in the envelope was not addressed; instead the captain called upon Shizuka as he began to leave his office. Gorou began to trail behind Higen's voice, following him outside his office and into a massive courtyard similar to the ones Gorou had been training in.
“How about you welcome our new comers in a.. Tenth Division fashion.”
Gorou glanced over to Shizuka...failing to hide a smirk with his draped hair. Gorou assumed the captain's with words meant they were about to test each others abilities, with the aggressiveness he witnessed from Kasumi he wouldn't be surprised. Gorou began to feel a familiar energy rise...he could once again could feel a static like energy flow around his skin. The air became harder to inhale, it felt crisp...as if it were being burnt. He held his composure, letting his body take in and familiarize itself with the energy. He was able to stabilize the current of Shizuka's surging power, not letting it overwhelm him. Remaining focused, Gorou sensed motion beyond Shizuka's reiatsu. Rygua, 5th seat, seemed to have released his zanpakuto. Gorou watched as his sword transformed into tekko-kagi like gloves, and Ryuga using them to form some form of portal. Within moments of Rygua's departure, Higen also seemed to speak something to lieutenant Kasumi and left himself. Gorou was confused on why the captain wouldn't want to examine the battle with his own eyes. He began to feel as if the captain was in a rush to leave; the enclosed message might've been more serious than they had expected. Nobody seemed to question the event, but Gorou held his curiosity with such an urgent request of his captain.
"Gorou, Izanagi, let's see what you two are made of....Both of you come on"
Shizuka finally broke his silence since Higen's request to welcome the new recruits. Gorou brought his focus back to Shizuka, who's expression felt more menacing than before. He showed no reaction to Shizuka's request; he was puzzled on why Shizuka felt as if he would be able to hold his own against the two of them. He had no intent of working along side Izanagi to down Shizuka. Gorou still has much to learn in his growing years, and teamwork may need be the first tactic he develops. For now, Gorou was in a world to himself and needed the help of no one to achieve his goals. He watched Shizuka stand defenselessly after calling for both to attack him. He could sense that Izanagi felt the same in Shikzuka's cockiness, though Gorou did not get impressed by words. A small moment passed before Izanagi spoke his first words to Gorou.
"Name Gyro right? Alright, listen...I am not sure how good you are. But I can tell you right now I have no Shikai. So I'll play distraction and move in, and you strike for an opening, got it?"
Izanagi's words felt similar to Shizuka's request. Izanagi was in no position to order Gorou around, especially in times of battle. Izanagi informed Gorou of his incapability to perform Shikai, enforcing his uselessness in Gorou's eyes. He couldn't decide which individual was more cocky between the two. At least Shizuka had some form of spiritual pressure to back his words; Izanagi spoke with emptiness. Izanagi quickly dashed towards Shizuka in attempt to close the distance. Gorou shook his head at such a brainless attempt to approach an enemy. Gorou could admit to himself that Izanagi displayed a good amount of speed, but his attack was seen through before he even drew his sword. He began to slightly build his own Reiatsu as Izanagi continued his charge.
"Ye lord. Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man. Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws."
Gorou softly spoke his incantation as Izanagi dashed towards Shizuka. He was preparing to use a Kido spell nearing his current limit so preparations were essential for its success. He brought his left hand up, aiming in a straight path towards both Izanagi and Shizuka. Gorou saw no purpose of working together and decided that he'd show his abilities against both Izanagi and Shizuka. He felt that he'd gain nothing from succeeding against Shizuka with the help of Izanagi...he felt he could out match Shizuka anyway, and that Izanagi would only be in his way. His youth shined in his choice making and while demeaning Izanagi for brash decisions, Gorou found himself making rather ego centered choices as well. Once Izanagi reached within striking distance of Shizuka, without notice or prior knowledge, Gorou manifested his building reiryoku into his palm and discharged a cascade of blue flamed energy towards them. In order to launch the ability with speed Gorou didn't put as much power into the Hado spell. The distance Izanagi had to cover wasn't large enough for him to fire his spell at his full capability. Still, the hado had enough concussive force to push back the individuals with great strength, and also cause moderate, but manageable burns. The torrent of energy took a vertical shape, scaling over eight feet in height. It ruptured the floor in its path inching towards its target every second.
