Staring directly into the view of his subordinates, Shizuka was looking to show no mercy towards them. If the 3rd Seated Officer gave off any sign that he was confident, cocky, or even full of himself, then his plan was coming to fruition. He looked at his subordinates with an intense cold and condescending look. The looks and attitude he gave off were not sincere in any way shape or form, it was just necessary for the demeanor of the test at hand. He would eventually grow to respect them in the future as contemporaries in rank and strength, as he does with Ryuga and Fuyuko, but for initiation purposes he has to treat them like they are beneath him.
The air surrounding the three Shinigami became much more brazen and apparent as they stood off. After Shizuka's taunt towards the two, there was not much action immediately, specifically from Izanagi who appeared dumbfounded from the exchange in general. Shizuka still lowering his guard, Zanpakuto fastened steadily inside of his pearly white obi sash on the right side, waited patiently for the first form of movement from one of the two. Izanagi was the one his Captain specifically asked to watch over, but it was overly apparent the most dangerous out of the two currently was Gorou. Ever since his entry, he has not given a hint on any of his motives or personality, other than the fact he was not much of a talker. Shizuka was way more interested in Gorou's first move more than Izanagi's, but then suddenly the latter began to make his move. Staring at the full body of the 3rd Seated Officer, Izangai began to speak out loud primarily prompting Gorou.
"Name Gyro right? Alright, listen...I am not sure how good you are. But I can tell you right now I have no Shikai. So I'll play distraction and move in, and you strike for an opening, got it?
Once again, Shizuka was befuddled by Izanagi's prompt. Not only did he say this aloud making it aware to Shizuka that he was a diversion in the grand scheme, and also that he was not capable of Shikai. Shizuka lifted his head up and started chuckling towards Izanagi, as the young man prepared his approach.
Izanagi, then abruptly dashed straight towards Shizuka, his speed a little underwhelming, but definitely not slow. Shizuka having sparred with many different foes was thrown off by his unique approach to this battle. As he was running he made no attempts to gather his reiryoku in any part of his body. Not only that, he did not even attempt to use any Hoho Arts to his disposal to make his movements less readable. Just from that start he was already losing favor with Shizuka, he was too raw in his eyes. Izanagi was moving in quickly and closing the distance between the two fast. He used all the time he could to discern his running stance.
" Left hand cradled tightly around his tsuba, right arm extended outwards. I see"
Shizuka then finally eased up a little, his guard was no longer as vulnerable as it was before. His demeanor changed instantly, and simultaneously as his reiatsu visibly disappeared his left arm rose to chest level and he stretched out his index and middle finger directly towards Izanagi. The new recruit had all but shaved more than half of the distance apart from them, and had no intentions of slowing down, but in the near instantaneous movement of Shizuka moving his arm he just simply uttered
"Sho"
Shizuka had no prior buildup for this spell, it simply came off as a small thrust of force from his fingertips. It was cast effortlessly being a low level spell, but still retaining necessary force to throw off Izanagi's momentum. Aiming directly for his right shoulder that was exposed, if the spell made it's mark while he was not reinforcing himself his right arm would jerk back momentarily and he would begin to lose his already underwhelming speed and his position. Shizuka would take immediate action off of this and drive his sandals into the ground with great force and pounce effortlessly into a Shunpo. His destination being to directly to Izanagi's right side, which would be slightly staggered from the spell in that instant. That small moment would be all that Shizuka would need, reinforcing his own right hand with an abundance of reiryoku he held it out in an open palm readied at his waist next to his Zanpakuto. Letting his palm out instantly in a thrusting motion he aimed directly for Izanagi's middle chest area. Shizuka did not hold back in any fashion, regardless if Izanagi took the strike directly or blocked he would be sent flying several meters away crashing directly into one of the barracks of the 10th with multiple fractures in his bones depending on his resilience.
In such a quick instance, Shizuka still never ignored Gorou's actions the entire time. As Izanagi said out loud previously for almost everyone in the area to hear, he was acting as a distraction. After palming Izanagi, he would quickly glance over Gorou whose blade would be cloaked in shadows and his reiatsu brimming exponentially higher. Shizuka had no time for awe though, because on his short glance he immediately saw a white and blue-ish light spawn from Gorou's hand ready to spurt outwards
"That's Sokatsui!"
Shizuka maintained his stern look and watched as the spell closed in on his area. The range and width almost covering all options of escape. The wide and open field playing into Shizuka's advantage perfectly, as he Shunpo'd his way to the right of the spell, directly out of harm's way. His body image bleeding away from the area as the Sokatsui's light flashed effervescently in the area. The kido spell was dying down out of existence, and Shizuka like a bolt of lightning, reappeared directly behind Gorou. His sword drawn in his left hand, and his reiatsu chirping loudly enhancing his intimidation factor. He was crouched beneath Gorou, his left leg extended outwards towards the ground with his right leg bent, giving him something to rise up from. He made no small quip or conversation, but just simply swung his blade from outstretched hand. Striking with the same force, he attacked the other recruit with. This strike though, was MUCH quicker and more concise than previously. Gorou was not someone he could handle with the same care as Izanagi, he was the new 4th Seat for a reason and his reiatsu exuded that same confidence and nature as he got closer to him. This strike being more concise was meant to stop directly at Gorou's torso, he would immediately disqualify Gorou if he had failed to react. Though, Shizuka was not worried about this scenario in the slightest.

There was no doubt that Izanagi wasn't as skilled as the rest of them. He was limited to only the necessary abilities that an unseated officer can do. By no means, he wasn't proficient in combat, but Izanagi has yet to achieve the more exceptional knowledge that shinigami possesses in their arsenal, such as shunpo. The only reason for it was due to being unmotivated to train further, having no purpose, no aspirations, or goal to fight or get promoted. No matter how much he wanted to enjoy a simple life as a shinigami, unknown to everyone's view. It seems that something about him did get noticed and ended up being dragged into a seated ranked. However, even though this lilac haired individual was carefree and laid-back, he still could hold his own in combat. He wasn't the strongest, but he was smart, observant. He fought when it's called for, and it turns out to be now—forced to work with another member of the tenth division, to showcase their ability. Of course, he loudly explains to Gorou their plan for the entire area to hear, even though he was low-ranked, he tried to take the lead. If it hasn't occurred to the others by now, they should come to realize that Izanagi isn't one to care for ranking and chain of command. He is merely a street rat, born and raise of the Rukon district, which means his manners and behavior are unrefined.
Now with the battle underway and Izanagi was leading the charge to provide the "distraction" as planned. His eyes never left Shizuka while sprinting; his hand remained wrapped around the casing of his sword. The right arm stretched out to the side, running towards the mark, which is Shizuka. However, during the b-line, he noticed Shizuka lifting his arm and pointing in his direction with two fingers.
Odd.
Izanagi doesn't recall Shizuka need to point, but then something hit him, a simple memory flooded his thoughts.
Higen-Divider.png

Izanagi-Shino-Acad.png

"Today! We shall train in combat hand to hand, but first, we shall go over kido, starting with the basics! Any hado #1-33, you may begin."
Izanagi watched everyone take a few steps forward where each individual was positioning themselves in a stance. Some pointed one finger, some use their palms, and one used two fingers. All but Izanagi watched them yelled out different spells and names of the kido they were looking to use. Each of them was successful in using the kido they all recited.
Higen-Divider.png

"Two fingers....two fingers, so that is.........Byakurai? No Shakkaho?"
"Sho."

Shizuka had spoken the word for him.
"That's the one! Sho!" he said it loudly, but by the time he wanted to celebrate from having help in remembering the name of the spell. It had already been released, which he felt a small and violent push in the right shoulder. This sudden push caused his whole momentum in his sprint to stop him in his tracks, causing the right foot to be lifted off the ground. His entire torso and hip shifted in the same direction where the shoulder was pushed inwards. Izanagi's entire balanced was all on the left foot while trying to grasp what took place. In that same instance of being hit, Shizuka instantly appeared on the side that took a hit from Sho. Both eyes widen as they did before when the messenger entered the room of the Captain's quarters.
"So fast!"
blob

Izanagi did not take account that Shizuka was just as fast if not faster than that messenger. While being utterly surprised from the third seat's speed, being amazed at his feat and skill level to move so fast, Izanagi slowly realized what was happening next. A palm was coming in his direction, and he wasn't exactly ready for something like this. He wanted to do something, but he took to long on trying to come up with a solution to dodge this attack, reaction time was just not up to par enough to register an answer to deflect or evade the strike. His muscles tensed up while he anticipated the attack to hurt badly, but then suddenly something snapped in an instant of Izanagi's mind. Within the depths of Izanagi's soul was another version of him wearing a similar garb, but the face had been more twisted and evil. He sat in a dark room with both wrists restrained by a sweet chestnut wood handcuff that so happens to unlock magically. They suddenly fell off his wrist, where he now just lifted his head, wearing that malicious smile, both eyes even started to glow bright lilac color. He stood up and the barred door opened by itself, the creaking sounded from within the cell, as it slowly allowed the individual to walk out. And that he did.
Within the moment he left from the cell that represented the cage that he rest in, the demon was free. While the beast slowly surfaced to protect the host, it was at that time Izanagi was sent flying across the courtyard and into one of division 10 barracks. Thankfully, the alter ego of Izanagi surfaced in time to reinforced the body with reiryoku to protect his weak body. Still, he suffered some minor damage, but to Akuma, it would be nothing that he couldn't brush off, unlike Izanagi. The crash could be heard throughout the entire division, while Akuma's body decorated the barracks with a huge hole.
"I am finally free one again.."
The voice of Akuma spoken while he remained within the depths of this hole.
After speaking those words under his breath, a sudden burst of spiritual power would ensue around his position. To cracks from the hole would spread along the rest of the barracks, crumbling and faltering to the will of Akuma's power. The entirety of Izanagi's spiritual signature would no longer be the same. It would be as if someone knew had entered the area, someone no one would have recognized. Eventually, part of that area was no more, that small building Akuma rested in was gone from existence, crumbling to nothing but a cloud of dust. The likes of Gorou and Shizuka wouldn't be able to see past the smoke very clearly. However, there would be a hint of a silhouette figure standing there.

The Tenth Division's traditional spar started off with egocentric, uncoordinated actions from all parties. Gorou's lack of partnership lead him to do the expected, in which he refused to work alongside Izanagi and instead planned to fight them both. Gorou watched as Izanagi rushed toward Shizuka. With little time and no hesitation, Gorou displayed his ability to produce mid level kido exceptionally with the firing of Sokatsui. Initially his plan was to catch both Shizuka and Izanagi with the Hado, but Shizuka was much to skilled to allow such a thoughtless attack to reach. In the midst of preparations of his #33, Gorou saw a slight change in Shizuka's stance. Shizuka's posture seemed to be more protective than it originally was; His presence began to fade as well. Gorou watched as Shizuka's hand came up and pointed towards Izanagi. "Hado? Bakudo?", Gorou said to himself as he wondered what would come next. With such a common pose it was hard for Gorou to assume what exactly Shizuka was planning. He didn't know the extent of Shizuka's kido strength, so for all he knew he could have the ability to fire mid to high rank spells without incantation. Gorou pondered, with only but mere seconds he came to an assumption. He anticipated a "Sho", or "Byakurai" given the situation they were in. Neither spell would reach Gorou; even if it was a Byakurai he felt confident in his ability to dodge such attack. With that conclusion Gorou continued to fire his Hado towards both individuals. Shizuka indeed used one of two spells Gorou predicated he would utilize. A Sho was fired towards Izanagi and landed a direct hit. Izanagi was launched into the distance and crashed into the walls of the Tenth Division. His landing caused a cloud of smoke in the distance, but Gorou paid little attention to Izanagi at this point. It was clear that he was not on par with either Gorou or Shizuka, so Gorou was no longer interested in his presence.
Gorou's Sokatsui shredded the earth beneath and traveled towards Shizuka with impressive speeds. Given that Izanagi was launched far from the blast's radius, Shizuka was now the only target for the scorching hado. With a quick instinctive Shunpo to his side, Shizuka was able to just miss the blast's power and remain untouched. Gorou studied Shizuka's movement as he maneuvered around the Sokatsui. "Shunpo", Gorou said to himself. It was initially hard to detect; Shizuka seemed to be skilled in his ability to hide his spiritual presence. Shizuka expelling his reiatsu earlier, and Gorou's few times being able to study it has given him a good ideal of Shizuka's spiritual ribbon. Gorou has much to train on in his growing years, but his ability to sense spiritual presence is already exceptional. Given that he was no longer focused on Izanagi in the slightest, Gorou was able to utilize his expertise in sensing on one target. He was impressed after analyzing the speed of Shizuka's Shunpo, but was not threatened. Even if that display of speed was not Shizuka's full capability, Gorou still remained confident that he could hold his speed. As the Sokatsui began to diminish it brought a glaring light to the area. Gorou remained focused on Shizuka as the aftermath of the spell dwindled. Shizuka once again disappeared from sight. This time Gorou was more efficient at tracking Shizuka's speed. He had seen his movement once, and while this did not mean he had fully grasped Shizuka's every movement, he was able to keep up with Shizuka's Shunpo. Gorou's ample ability to sense reiatsu also played part in tracing this second Shunpo. Shizuka appeared crouched behind Gorou with his sword ready to strike. There were no words spoken between the two, instead Shizuka instantly swung horizontally in attempt to cut Gorou's torso. Simultaneously to Shizuka's Shunpo, Gorou ever so slightly turned his body to the left. He immediately gripped Yōjinbukai's hilt with his left hand and unsheathed half of his Zanpakuto. The exposed blade was just enough to cover Gorou's torso. Even with Gorou's mastery in his ability to draw his blade, Shiuzka's speed rivaled Gorou's well. Gorou made the most of what he could given the situation, especially given that Gorou prevails in striking first and not so much counter attacking. Gorou let Shiuzka's blade clash with his own, the blades of their Zanpakuto battled in a display of spiritual pressure. Shizuka's reiatsu surged and flared as they pressed against each others force. A shock wave caused a fierce column of air to extend in the surrounding area. The fury of wind pushed at Gorou, flurrying his hair and Juzu beads. Similar to Shizuka, Gorou said no words during the slight encounter and instead looked down upon the crouched Shizuka.

I see....
Gorou's quick unsheathe, effortlessly blocking Shizuka's quick and coordinated strike, astounded him to a degree. Just from the simple clash of their metal, they created a violent turbulence around them. Shizuka stared into the dark essence that poured from Gorou's Zanpakuto. His reiatsu was very refined, controlled completely even. It felt like he was using every ounce of reiryoku he was pouring out from his being, and his Zanpakuto followed suit. From an outside view it was a spectacle, the hues of their lightning blue and obsidian black reiatsus, were being expelled outwards in a small maelstrom. Although Shizuka withheld some of his force to prevent himself from truly injuring Gorou, their strengths could easily seem to be on par at the moment. Now it seems like Shizuka did not need to hold back with the current 4th Seat of their division. The 3rd Seat thought to himself, as Gorou danced backwards from their clash.
"He's nice, I can definitely see myself unleashing my own Shikai against him in a real fight. He got w-"
Elisha-2-Resize.png

Shizuka was interrupted in the middle of his thoughts, as he felt an extremely unpleasant reiatsu being released. He swiveled his head over quickly to Izanagi's location, while simultaneously sheathing his Zanpakuto. Izanagi's presence ,that should've only been there, because of the strike Shizuka used to send him into a nearby barrack simply disappeared. At that same moment of this realization, the air became denser, and harder to breathe in, nearly suffocating the 3rd Seat in his sealed state. Drops of sweat slowly culminating to the temple area of his head, these drops being camouflaged by his caramel colored skin. For a man who almost never worries when given an issue, was suddenly beginning to feel worry.
Upon turning his head, what he saw was a pillar of reiatsu, expelling from the remains of the building. Its pressure was unrealistic and swarming, just from its weight alone it was on par with most Captains if you were arguing strictly from amounts. Shizuka's eyes widened with concern, as he witnessed Izanagi's frail silhouette climb out of the ruins. All Shizuka could recall back to was, the words his Captain heeded to him a while ago.
Higen-Three-2.png

Quote:"That one specifically… is now your responsibility. He must be monitored, closely, and if things get out of hand…
Handle it"
Shizuka knew the context of Higen's words, they were indeed serious. Who could've known that it was something that could be to this level. The pillar of reiatsu did not falter, all that could be seen inside its massive presence was the shadowed out figure of Izanagi. Though previously Shizuka could barely feel the presence of his reiatsu, it was easy to tell its signature felt completely different than before. Turning his head back to Gorou, who was also staring at this spectacle as well, could tell the 4th Seat's confidence did not falter. As much as Shizuka would love to continue fighting Gorou, in the current situation, there were much more important things to tend to.
"Hold on Gorou, we may need to halt this. I need to handle whatever is going on with Izanagi."
Obviously, walking towards his deadly presence was not the smartest idea, especially without being in Shikai. But, Shizuka was more than prepared for a sudden retaliation from this crazed individual. Shizuka shuffled his feet into a shunpo to Izanagi's location. His body reappeared several feet away from the daunting reiatsu being expelled. Its presence only became even more suffocating as Shizuka stood closer to it. By simply existing, Izanagi's reiatsu eroded the entire area around him. With every step closer to him, the building Izanagi was riddled in was becoming no more.
"This is bad, words are probably not going to get to him at this point"
Shizuka, then lifted his left arm up quickly and began drawing a kanji symbol with his hand. His tracing was efficient and effortless, he stroked his finger's through the air with an unforeseen quickness. The symbol was drawn out in front of his fingertips in a crimson colored reiatsu, simply writing out "Strike- 撃"
"Geki"
A red aura would encapsulate Izanagi's frame that resided within the smoke, restricting him from all movements. With the level or reiatsu he was expelling, a no-incantation Geki would probably be mere child's play to break out of with sheer strength. Although Shizuka wanted it like that, he had no desire to continue hurting Izanagi, just restrict him so he does not hurt Gorou or himself.
"I don't know what's wrong with you Izanagi, but you need to relax. This welcome is over now."
Shizuka's voice carried a sense of fear within it that could easily be heard. He was afraid this simple exchange was going to be blown out of proportions. Though he was ready to "handle it", if need be. Even if it meant permanently injuring one of his fellow new comrades.

This feeling of freedom was nothing but exhilarating now that the mental barrier is no more. That sensation of being free once again was so insatiable that it was that feeling of entering a ludic dream the moment Akuma took the first step forward and the bondage broken off the wrist. All that hidden power stored away from Izanagi has now come into a manifestation through his inner half. A half who is currently taking this moment with great pleasure, engaging in the current activity that he loves most. Stepping outside makes him feel like there were no rules while being in this all-time high where his senses heightened, the perception was more magnificent than before. No longer bound to the "laws of physics," realizing that he could do what he was made to do.
HURT THOSE THAT HURT HIM!
Akuma-Aura.png

The power that has been let loose by this entity that has taken control of Izanagi was far beyond anyone could imagine. At least something Izanagi himself has yet to reach in his base state. Akuma is the source or possibly just half of the potential power Izanagi indeed possesses but not knowingly. Whatever or whoever wields this power did not matter, the fact that it was coming from one individual who did not show any signs of having skills to possess this kind of tenacity was astounding, yet dangerous. Eventually, the barracks he stood behind succumb to his will by crumbling into nothing. Much like the mental barrier, it is already forgotten about, decimated to original form.....a pile of rubble to the smallest atom. The cloud of smoke that surrounded his body faded away, revealing a more malevolent individual with this ghastly grin and pearly white teeth, one corner up of Akuma's mouth up. Those eyes that were once lilac color, now mixed with blood-red, turning into a bright aura colo trailing upwards. That same aura was surrounding his body while unleashing this overwhelming vast power. Among the shape of this crimson reiatsu, a pair of enormous yellow eyes that open up, with Gorou reflecting off one eye of Akuma, Shizuka, the other. Fear was all over their faces; he could smell it, taste it the way they looked at him. Their reaction to his presence was satisfying. But the taste of blood would be even more thrilling. This subtle change of Izanagi also changed his spiritual signature, and it leaked differently than what Izanagi had. Akuma's presence wasn't only overwhelming, but anyone within the barracks could sense the lust for blood, his killing intent would be just as overbearing as the spiritual pressure that flooded both contenders. There were sheep trapped with a wolf in sheep clothing.
Only Izanagi is the sheep, a harmless lazy individual with no motivation to fight. While Akuma was the wolf and like a wolf, he is cunning, sly, a vicious animal that likes to eat vulnerable animals like the two sheep he had within his sights. His hair stood upwards and wilded like his clothing continually moving in a wavy motion.
"Hmph, you told me you had yet to achieve your Shikai. I am not one to forgive a liar."
Those words were sprouted from Gorou as he mistakenly believes Akuma or rather Izanagi unlock Shikai. Unfortunately, they would be disappointed for the simple reason that this was just sheer power. The moment of Akuma's awakening, reiryoku been manipulated to move throughout his entire frame, building its structure through his muscles. Although that wasn't the only activity going on, outer Izanagi, who has been replaced by his inner Devil, had been placed into a deep mental sleep. With no knowledge of knowing what is happening outside right this instance.
Higen-Divider.png

This environment was completely different than the place Akuma had left before. There were no cemented walls or small confine space with steel bars. The setting itself had been complete darkness with him standing there, grasping his head full of hair muttering words over and over and over and over.
"Di........ki.......em..........it......a...I........did.....ha...."
a331855f55c126e6-blood-spatter-splatter-on-screen-wall-green-screen-black.gif

He walked and roamed in this darkness, muttering words that came off as nonsense. But soon, he began to hear random voices of different people. Screams of agony, people were crying for help or yelling.....
DEMO.........AAHAGAA...."
tumblr_nhhuhnCH8i1sgmh0uo1_400.gifv

That cry fell when they had been slain before finishing that word. Blood flying everywhere, splattering on everything within the vicinity. Izanagi removed his hand from his hair and stared at the bloody ebony palms. Eyes widen but not from being surprised at the sight of blood but out of confusion. He was wondering if this was real? When did this happen? Bodies of bandits of all shapes and sizes appearing out of nowhere, and then a man before him were backing away slowly with fear set in his eyes. Then a small child that resembles the same likeness as him appeared and attacked the individual with a swift swing of the sword over the eye. He fell on both knees, holding the wounded eye with one hand. The man who towered over six feet was now the same height as the dual-color lilac-black color hair child. The sword this kid held pointed the tip towards the individual wearing this menacing smile.
"I shall leave you this scar, the scar of the Devil. You shall forever remember me and what happened today. My name...is Akuma."
Higen-Divider.png

And like that, the image disappeared, leaving Izanagi appalled what went down before his eyes. A memory he does not recall but a memory of Akuma. But then this shroud of darkness slowly faded away into a different setting. The surroundings transformed into what resembled that of the rukon district tavern where everyone was going about their daily life. Even wearing the same style of clothes the civilian wore.
Ryuga-Smoke-1.png

Izanagi looked at his hands, and there was no blood, and then he noticed to his left, a man was sitting next to him, but not just any man. But a gigantic man with large muscles at the bar counter with a pair of sunglasses. His clothing was different than his own, cleaner and darker.
"Oi! Don't hold back on the drinks! Bring us more saki dammit!"[/b]
He shouted at the barkeep while he kept throwing out money to place on the counter. He then looked in Izanagi's direction, and for a while, he didn't say anything but stare all weird.
"I see you aren't zoning out again. Were you daydreaming still, kid?"
He asked Izanagi, and now he was more confused about what he was talking about and moreso. Was this a dream? No...unlike the last scene he remembers this....it was years ago.
"Stop looking at me weird, kid. And drink your damn cup. I got to go back to my post soon."
Higen-Divider.png

He shouted while Izanagi didn't say anything but made a "tch" sound and proceeded with drinking, bringing the rim of the cup to his lips and began coughing due to the potency of the drink. It was too much for him to handle. At this point, Izanagi gave up trying to make sense of things and live in the moment, whether he was dreaming or reliving the memory. Ryuga-san began talking just as much as he has been drinking about the soul society and other things.
Meanwhile, Akuma was looking to make his first move as opposed to Shizuka declaring things to Gorou.
"Hold on Gorou, we may need to halt this. I need to handle whatever is going on with Izanagi."
28afc4190b35921db8d7393b8a470e32.gif

Shizuka seems to be focusing on handling Akuma/Izanagi, and he has become the new primary target. But ending this session so soon would be a disappointment, the Devil had just arrived after all. Akuma's position instantly vanished, but within that same second, he appeared directly behind the sea-green hair shinigami, mostly on the right side of his shoulder. His breath could be felt over that same shoulder, simultaneously grabbing a head full of hair with all the strength and hair he could grab with the left hand.
"Halt this? But we are just starting soul reaper!"
attachment.php

The voice of Akuma could send chills down Shizuka's spine to where he if beforehand, Akuma was successful in snatching Shizuka's hair to where he would only tug it backward roughly. It would only be brief until after he finishes saying what he just told Shizuka, but the moment he did finish speaking, the left hand would detach itself from his hair. Akuma had the asauchi in hand and prepared his first attack on Shizuka. The asauchi had not only been coated with built-up reiryoku, but it was glowing completely a cardinal color. The swing was precise and swift while bringing it up into a horizontal slash right at the waistline to either bi-sect him completely. While at the same time releasing a powerful attack of pure reiatsu that would not only damage and burn the 3rd seated shinigami, but it would continue to stretch outwards of 75 meters even in Gorou's direction with the arc of this attack being hundred and eighty degrees. And the attack itself would be 18 feet long.
Had Shizuka sword block's Akuma sword strike, the pure energy of Akuma's reiatsu would carry Shizuka away regardless. The overwhelming strength with his reiryoku would be enough to send him flying away with a powerful force until he crashes into something or through something. The shockwave alone would cause the ground beneath them to shatter. This destructive force can be compared to the likes of Ryōdan (両断, Bisection).
