Personality:
It can be said Oyama is an observant person, she tends to watching events happen from a literal bird’s eye view. As all information gathered to her is useful when events begin to unfold. Based upon the information she gathers she can assess whether or not she needs to be involved, continue to watch, or to move away. Though more often than not her curiosity has her stay for better or for worse.

Oyama sees herself as a logical person, often trying to rely upon that information she gathered. Though this does not make her an emotionless robot. She may disagree with a few things and let them be heard to some degree, like her hatred of the noble family. She sees them as a parasite upon the soul society, where they seek to further enrich their families while pushing the regular souls down. While keeping quite about those who do truly fit in within the Seireitei are to be detained, and ladled dangerous. She has a fear that she might be put into this category and be detained.

She has a bad habit of carrying over her anger, and is easily triggered when she is not on a mission. Oyama has been known to wound those who disrupted her during off time; be it meditating to converse with her zanpakutō or training with her squad mates. She finds training sessions to be valuable, as she can assess herself and others, trying get feed back and improve upon it. Even going as far as to study footage if available.

She does on occasion try to relax, for this she goes off to find a hiding spot. Often content with just spending the whole day doing nothing. This normally comes after feeling like she had been overwhelmed by her tasks, duty and sometimes though very rarely training sessions. If given the opportunity she would continue her loafing state well into a week before feeling finally feeling a sense of guilt, or if she was found.

At the start of her career as a shinigami, Oyama had attempted to hide something. That something was her other half, a personality split, is the best way she can describe it. Her other half calls herself Furia. Furia considers herself the stronger and more daring half. She is known to jump into the fray without any hesitation on her part. She’s been known to also try and take a blow to deliver a blow, to her opponents. While Oyama may hold herself back from killing, Furia has no qualms about killing, even if it is a shinigami. As for other races its simply following the duties of a shinigami, to protect the balance at hand. While at first she was un willing to give up control, she soon realized that Furia is well and truly needed if she wanted to progress as a shinigami.

Elk & Shori Hoshi:
Oyama knew these two since the day she could actually hold memory. Not too surprising since she grew up with the two constantly watching over her. To the young Oyama it was great she was able to spend each waking day with her brother and sister. At the time she knew little as to why a doctor had to come see her; but after each visit she had gotten to spend time with Elk shortly after the visit. Each time she had enjoyed as she was able to get away, she was able to enjoy some “zanpakutō” training mixed in with a bit of Kido.

Shori, at the time was a bit more reserved with Oyama. Rather than train her in the ways of the sword. She had taught Oyama to be observant of her surroundings, and the people around her. She had inspired Oyama through bed time stories, stories of warriors from a far away land. Warriors going up against giants, wolves and dragons. These stories, are what inspired Oyama to become a shinigami, and wanting to follow in her sister’s footsteps in becoming a shinigami.

Great Spiritual Power-

From the start Oyama’s career as a shinigami had been a bit more dangerous than she thought. From nearly getting arrested with a blown hole in her shoulder, a conflict with a Togabito formerly known as Sword eater; To unfortunately being a target in the return the arrancars. All of these events were within the first year as a shinigami. These life-threatening events changed both Oyama and Furia’s reiatsu quite a bit, enough so that it became the platform for her power. With the twin personalities known training had doubled for Oyama’s body, at first it was exhausting as her body was in near constant training that she had little time to rest, however as time passed her stamina and power grew, allowing her to go faster and further with Hohō, reach higher levels of Kidō, strike harder with both her zanpakutō and fists.

Sensing Reiryoku:
Expert-
The Onmitsukidō Corps Found Oyama and Furia’s sensing capabilities lacking; At first confusion was amongst Oyama and Furia’s mentors as they always felt like she never really advanced, though they soon figured out that the Namanari that changes the flow and feel of her reiatsu. Once the mentors had a firm grasp of who occupied the body, they began to push them both until they could easily memorize the lay out of any room they find themselves in at first glance. Both personalities can accurately track a target at a few hundred meters, along with tracking foot prints or physical disturbances left behind, with the spiritual trail left behind by any lingering reiatsu. An agreement was made amongst the two personalities, while one maintains control the other watches for signatures that come too close for comfort. Their ability to identify the different reiatsu signature of Shinigami, Quincy or Arrancar came from her short time as 13th division’s 3rd seat, having encountered all three during her short time there.
Reiryoku Control:
Great Control-
The Onmitsukidō Corps heavily relies upon one’s ability to both stealth and anonymity. Something Oyama and Furia had to work upon. Each in both personalities took a bit of time to train their reiryoku to better supress and conceal it. As she began to refine control she found that she was either putting far to much or little in her other shinigami arts; For Oyama her Kidō took a noticeable change, as she was able to figure out how much was needed per spell. Furia has taken her reiryoku as boost to her physical abilities, most notably in her Zanjutsu and hakuda. While both utilize this control in Hohō to the same degree.

Expert-
Reiatsu and Reiryoku tend to hand and hand, both Oyama and Furia figured out this one as their reiryoku began to rise their control over their reiatsu became harder to manage and conceal. It came to the point in which she had to take a full year of training to conceal it better. In doing so she can now hide it to where it feels like she still came out from the academy. She can be even more deceptive, her reiatsu signature can change once her personality changes from Oyama to Furia. While it can be said Oyama’s reiatsu signature feels calm and caring the same can not be said about Furia’s; as hers seems to have a more direct intent of causing harm.

Reiatsu effect:

Sōhaku (pallor):
The release of her reiatsu has to done with careful consideration. As the effects of her reiatsu cares not for friend of foe. Those who fall within the influence of Sōhaku begin to feel a sense of fatigue, with breathing becoming a difficult task in its own, as with moving. However, Sōhaku is particularly dangerous for those that have wounds, as once her reiatsu enters the wound it quickly goes to the blood stream; degrading their blood, causing their blood cells to carry less and less oxygen across their body. Their once healthy looking skin begins to change to a sickly gray one, suggesting that their body is failing, as they continue to stay underneath Sōhaku influence.

Expert Swordsman-
What makes Oyama and Furia difficult to go against, is the Namanari. The two personalities take different approaches as always. Oyama chooses a more defensive nature, patience is her goal, waiting on the defense for an opening to counter. She leaves little no markings in her surroundings as her preference for defense and precision style of swordsmanship. The Onmitsukidō training dictates that her blade must be precise, ending her target in as few strikes as possible, with precision she can end an opponent by aiming for vital areas upon the body. While Furia cares not for her surroundings breaking anything that is put in her way, often relying on heavy blows to stagger her targets, to the untrained eye it may seem reckless fighting but each cut aims to make full use of Ketsuryū by inflicting deep wounds or dismembering opponents entirely, often leaving a massacre in her wake. This solidifies her in zanpakutō expertise, as a change in her personality also changes the flow of the battle, making it difficult for most swordsmen accustomed to traditional sword fighting and people below a master’s level of expertise to fight against.

Hohō Level:
Shunpo Expert-
Its no secret that those in second division are some of the fastest and stealthiest shinigami to exist. At the time Oyama and Furia were abysmal in their use of Shunpo, being far below the average standard for anyone seeking to count themselves among the ranks of the Onmitsukidō. It was this same standard that served as great motivation, driving both personalities to catch up. Like the other training sessions Oyama and Furia had to constantly exert themselves, pushing both their body as well as their spiritual power time and time again, an act that aided in honing both their control over their spiritual power as well as the proficiency in their foot work. Regardless of who controls the body, both personalities are more than capable of easily covering 50 meters in single step. It is within this 50-meter scope that she can truly demonstrate her speed, as the closer the target is to her; the faster she appears — suddenly and sporadically vanishing briefly from one's line of sight as she changes directions at the drop of a dime to swiftly target a blind spot or opening exposed to her sight. To those less skilled or competent in Hohō, when viewing Oyama operate within that controlled area they might very well mistaken her for being far faster and skilled than she really is, often cutting down her target before anyone's any the wiser.​

Expert Hakuda Combatant-
The twin personalities have completely different views on Hakuda. Oyama had a distaste for such a fighting style, always hated the idea that she would come into physical contact with someone, often preferring her zanpakutō or Kidō. Furia’s view is different she loves the idea that she can break someone’s bones with just her hands or have them cough up blood from a hard punch. Oyama’s postion on this had to change, in doing so her zanpakutō was forcefully taken away from her, and any Kidō attempt was thwarted. Like their zanpakutō training the twin personalities have two different fighting styles. Oyama heavily favors using her opponent’s momentum against them often gripping onto her opponents arm before tossing them into the ground, Thanks to her flexibility, Oyama can snake around an opponent’s movements to place them into various holds. Surprisingly Oyama is willing to use Dirty tactic’s such as aiming for the groin, eyes, throat, and other exposed or sensitive areas; to Oyama its away to end a fight as fast as possible. Furia doesn’t enjoy such tatics, she prefers a long and drawn outfight with her opponents; though her choice in fighting style suggests other wise, as she aims to break through flesh and bone alike as the feeling of blood flowing across her arms is sensation she enjoys. Her blows are often empowered by her reiryoku. She also uses both knees and Elbows to deliver an even stronger blow; even utilizing grips and pulls to achieve this. The twin personalities like to switch control when they find an opponent is used to their fighting style, allowing them to catch their opponents is easier when the fighting style has changed.

Kidō Expert-
Even before the her start in the academy Oyama had a fascination with Kidō as a child witnessing a shinigami use Kidō to subdue some vagrants on the street. The very idea that one doesn’t need to use a blade or hand to hand but to cast a spell, to bind someone was a fascinating idea. As her time in the academy, it was no surprise that her favorite class was Kidō. Her understanding of Kidō and usage during the academy had made her stand out amongst her peers, as the majority of her free time was spent training her Kidō. As she graduated and became a seated officer of 13th she still practiced her Kido, over zanpakutō as it was her strongest asset. It was her training with Onmitsukidō that helped her further develop albeit indirectly as her reiryoku control was heavily focused. Even so she was able to dedicate her time to her Kidō, honing what she knew, and learning what she didn't. Oyama’s control over her reiryoku began to refine in her training so did her Kidō, as did her ability to discover how potent her Kidō can be without overblowing it or exhausting herself. So did her fluidity in her spells, as it allowed her rapidly releasing mid level Kidō one after another without incantations; more than making up for the weakened spell. Though this is not the extent of her ability in Kidō, as she is the ability to weave two spells together.

Namanari (生成 "Half-Demon"):
The soul society is filled with mysteries and secrets alike. One such secret is among the Hoshi family. The Namanari, still remains a mystery, most of the elders speculate that it is a curse. They are unsure of when it had happened but records and tales have been destroyed. What is known about the Namanari, plants a seed of a split personality, from birth. As the years progress for the Child the split personality develops. Its unknown how it takes on the personality, as it does not follow a pattern. At first it was believed that it comes off the needs of the host, where the clan member could be shown as weak willed it would come out as one as stubborn as an ox. However, it had been proven wrong several times in the past. As Namanari, sometimes takes the traits of the Clan member and amplifies it. The effects don’t stop at a personality change, as it changes the reiatsu signature to one that’s completely different. The clan member may also go under physical changes, as their eyes colour changes from one to another, hair has also been known to change as well.

Furia:
The darker half of Oyama that manifested herself at a young age and has been known to take over Oyama’s body from time to time. Upon taking control her reiatsu signature changes from calm to one that is considered violent and crazed. To those that know of Furia know that she likes to keep on the attack; using everything in her power and abilities to close a gap between herself and her target, Be it Kidō or hakuda though with a preference to Hakuda and Zanjutsu.

One of the things that terrifies Oyama about her other half is her ability to remove pain. With this Furia has been known to shrug off wounds that would be considered extreme just to kill her target. Although Oyama considers herself Brutish, Furia does display the same amount of intelligence as Oyama and often brags that she is the smarter and stronger half.

Onmitsukidō training:
She had found this training quite interesting to say the least, as she believed the training of the Onmitsukidō training only consisted of stealth and espionage. She soon found it was an umbrella term. Both herself and Furia had taken interest in different parts of this type of training. Naturally, Furia, the ever so sadistic half of Oyama chose to indulge herself into torture methods, that the Onmitsukidō had to offer. Both Oyama and Furia had taken interest in stealth portion, while it can be seen as a mixed success between the two, both are well versed in stealth. It came to the point where either personality can walk without making a sound, and both can conceal their reiatsu; though both argue on who is better at stealth. Both are proficient in throwing knives.

Flexible body:
It was initially Furia’s idea to take up Yoga, with much protest from Oyama. This however changed with both personalities take joy in the activity. Its not just for relaxing, her being flexible thanks to Yoga allows her to bend, and twist her body the way she sees fit in a fight, allowing her to maneuver around opponents with ease, catching them in grapples or escaping one’s grip.

Her zanpakutō depicts the two sides of Oyama, when greeted they are welcomed by an elaborate decoration, of silver and blues. The Krashira, contains decorative silver wings similar to her wings that rest upon her head, while the sheath Saya comes out with a dark blue and silver, decorated once again in various patterns and filled with some gems. Despite her disliking of nobles, she does enjoy the look of her weapon. Once released from its Saya, the blade itself is black with a red edge, this represents the other side of Oyama, one with the intent to kill, or draw blood.
Zanpakutō Spirit:

The Blood Panda, a manifestation of both Oyama and Furia’s identity. The whole identity of the Blood Panda is to deceive those into thinking he is nothing but a small innocent animal in armor. However, he has a thirst for battle. As his name implies, he enjoys the sight and feel of blood, and is often seen with patches of dried blood scattered across his fur and armor. Thanks to his size he never really shows a brutish nature, but rather one that is more cunning. Often taking down Oyama and Furia down through unconventional means, even outwitting the two when they team up to fight against him. He provides wisdom to both Oyama and Furia when they ask for it, though he loves to scold the two in giving his advice and wisdom.

Release Phrase:
Nodonokawaki o iyasu Blood fiattopanda (relive your thirst Blood Panda)

Both the blade and the handle extend outwards creating a balance among the two, if one side is over weighted, it will become difficult and unwieldy. Her shikai release is meant to represent the balance of Oyama and Furia, for either side has far too much control, they won’t be able to work as effectively. Though its only symbolic both Furia and Oyama have yet achieve a take over or a balance.

Shikai Special Ability:
Ketsuryū (Blood flow): When she has sliced into her opponent with her blade, her Zanpakutō will prevent healing while active; While at the same time the opponent’s blood will begin to pour out at a faster rate than normal. Even when cauterized the bleeding will still continue though it will turn to internal bleeding.

Notable Features: A single scar under his left eye that came from a sparring session with his father. Other scars he gained during the Culling of Second Division 100 years ago.

Personality:

One hundred years is a long time to grow out of an awkward phase and Ochitsuki’s early years were definitely awkward. Always silent, watching, observing others and blending into the background made him a shoe in for Second Division. His time in this Division made these bad habits already more difficult to break despite the former Lt.s best attempts to break him out of it. That was until the day a memorial service was held to honor a former Second Division member that Captain Mukuro gave the order to the entire division to fight and spill blood so that only the best among them remained standing. This was a moment of awakening, the silent awkward child was no more, through this bloody baptism a new warrior was born, one that is chaotic, unhinged and will do whatever it takes to bring pain upon another living soul.

Being the son of Yurui Oda he picked up his fathers bad habits, mostly the lack of care when it comes to fellow Shinigami. A light spar can turn into a death sentence and he is easily appalled by the weakness of others. That being said, Ochitsuki still doesn’t say much, unlike before where he merely didn’t speak because he was caught up in his own violent fantasy world. He simply does not partake in small talk. Idle chit chat is left for the “drones”, as he calls them, the other Shinigami outside of Second Division who chit chat and gossip about pointless things. Like his father he dedicates his entire being to being a Shinigami and keeps a firm belief in his heart that the Shinigami are the strongest spiritual entities in existence.

Finally, he still lives an existence without fear, the concept is still foriegn to him and no amount of teaching, or drilling can make him understand it. This lack of fear is what allows him to not hold his Captain on a pedestal as everyone else seems to do or any of the Captains for that matter. They all bleed, rip out their throats and they die, crush their skulls and they die, sever their head and they die. He does understand this is much easier said than done but at the end of the day they are mortal and one thing he was taught in his clan is that “Nothing is unkillable, no one is truly immortal, and there is nothing we can’t kill.” More so than being taught this he was born with this ingrained in his mind.

Reiryoku Level: Immense
The pure untainted bloodline of the Oda has existed for centuries. When another soul bonds with an Oda the child that they create is pure and holds the potential to be powerful. This power resides within the soul, waiting to be tapped into through training, through victories and most importantly, defeats. It is like a vault filled with riches but unattainable without the codes to said vault. Trails must be overcome, the owner of the vault must face setback after setback and rise from each one. For the last one hundred years Ochitsuki has done this, climbing his way through the ranks until landing himself in his current seat. His untainted, centuries old bloodline combined with his hard work and dedication to serve, and eventually kill, his Captain aided in his growth to burst through his Reiryoku cap and allowed it to expand further than he expected it to. Like looking up at the infinite blue sky his energy feels limitless but with that limitless feeling comes the feeling of not being able to control all of it…

Sensing Reiryoku: Expert
His growth did not end with his Reiryoku but his ability to sense it increased as well. His already animal-like instincts and fighting style were raised significantly due to this trait. Being able to follow an opponent on a spiritual level rather than just physically allows him to fine tune his body while it is in motion, to track his targets from long distances, and to gauge their strength effortlessly. Combined with his animal like instincts he crafted a technique that combines his Spiritual sense and physical senses together to evolve his Gokan Kakusei (五感覚醒, 5 Senses awakening) into Dairokkan (第六感; Sixth Spiritual Sense). Though this new ability works in tandem with his Reiatsu it is still a testament to how much he has grown as a Shinigami.




Reiryoku Control: Average
Sadly this is an area where he actually regressed, tapping into the new wealth of Reiryoku took him by surprise. He still tries to manage it as he did before which resulted in his control dwindling. Though it has dwindled he knew he had to forsake certain aspects of the Shinigami Zankensoki, specifically the Kido aspect of it. With that forsaken he could focus his Reiryoku in his physical attributes that aided him in his Hakuda, Zanjutsu and Hoho. Lastly, he has all but lost his ability to remain stealthily hidden without the aid of Reiryoku dampening garbs, not that these are hard to come by but if engaged in a battle he can never hide himself from an opponent like those who boast better control than him.

Reiatsu: Expert

While Ochitsuki would rather kill than subjugate there are times where he must perform the latter. Such times call upon methods where physical contact can not be made or perhaps even over a large group and those are times where his Reiatsu comes into play. Rukongai citizens or lower seated Shinigami will find themselves at his mercy when feeling his Reiatsu, there very beings being penetrated by constant anxiety. Feeling his Reiatsu brings about the sensation that his lifeless eyes are upon his target even while his back is turned. The eyes are the windows to the soul and feeling these "eyes" one could only anticipate having their limbs torn away from them like they are one of the many insects that Ochitsuki tortures on a daily basis. That alone can tell the tale of his Reiatsu, the fact that those who have been suppressed feel as if they have become insects.

The Oda clan know their way around a blade, either through instinct or through learning they figure out how to make a blade do its job with minimal effort. For Ochitsuki his mastery came about through tireless training all in an attempt to mimic his Captain. Seeing him behead a prisoner with such grace and form was the driving force to cut his foes the same way. To cut someone with such speed and grace that they do not know they are cut until their limbs or head finally begin to separate from their body. He himself has mastered this, he gained the grace and technique needed to pull it off. He cuts with such speed and precision that it seems like he is missing his target from the view of an observer and receiver. It is not until his foe begins to fall apart that his “missing” is correctly identified as the strokes of a master swordsman.

Hohō Level: Shunpo Master
Pushing himself in the most punishing of ways Ochitsuki used every ounce of his knowledge and physical being to finally grasp the concept of becoming a Master of Shunpo. Just as before his step makes no sound, it is so silent that the ringing the brain creates to make sense of silence masks his step. He has mastered the use of Speed Clones, but rather than using multiple clones he only generates one or two at a time. An opponent is more likely to be thrown off by one rather than one hundred. He may use this technique in this way but it does not mean he cannot create multiple clones at one time. While his step is impressive and he is considered a Master he is still a far cry away from the Gods of Shunpo, namely Kyomu Mukuro and Yū Nakamoto. It is unknown how long it will take for him to reach their heights but when that day comes he will be ready to fight Kyomu to the death and not be outpaced by him. With that established he is able to keep up with or outpace other Masters of Shunpo, as a man who seeks to overcome Kyomu he must do so.

Hakuda Level: Hakuda Expert
While his Reiryoku has strengthened him physically he is not an overwhelming powerhouse, but this does not detract from how hard he can strike. Considerable strength has been built up within his hands turning them into spears that can pierce through the mightiest of flesh without even breaking or tearing away his nails. Even individually Ochitsuki can wrap his fingers around the neck of an opponent and one by one drive each finger into their neck. This alone could cement his role as an Assassin but this is not his primary way of using Hakuda. With his strength and spear-like hands he can strike an opponent’s nervous system directly. A strike to the arm and an opponent will feel as if their arm has vanished, a strike to the leg will carry the same result. Should the left side of the head be hit then they will lose vision on their left side and vice versa. If he hits the neck of an opponent then loss of breath shall occur as well. Ochitsuki has molded his body into that of an Assassin, quick quiet deaths that avoid flashy maneuvers.

Kido Skill Level: Kidō Practitioner
With his new wealth of Reiryoku and lack of control over it his ability in Kido regressed. He now can only use three spells, Hadō #31. Shakkahō, Bakudō #21. Sekienton, and Hadō #12. Fushibi. Any spell other than these three that are casted instantly fail as each spell requires different amounts of Reiryoku to cast and with no control over his he cannot regulate it. As such, the three spells he has the more proficiency and practice with are his tried and trusted three. Deception is a must, meaning that these spells are always casted, in what most would consider, the most awkward time possible.

Skills and Abilities:
Gokan Kakusei (五感覚醒, 5 Senses awakening):
What he lacks in Reiryoku Sense he makes up for with his physical senses. To be precise what he has achieved here is a culmination of instinctive senses that were personally honed thanks to his father. To feel, or smell killing intent in complete darkness, to have his body react to unseen danger and to taste the breath of his opponent on the air are all abnormal traits that come along with this skill of his. His body will move and react on a subconscious level allowing him to perform moves that have no history or reference and sometimes even allowing him to craft a new fighting maneuver on the spot. This combined with his somewhat animalistic "Scuttering Style" makes his opponents feel as if they are fighting an animal or beast rather than a man.

Dairokkan (第六感; Sixth Spiritual Sense)
Combining his sense of Reiryoku and Gokan Kakusei ability, Ochitsuki is able to create a 20 Meter(65 feet) radius around himself filled with invisible tendrils of Spiritual Energy. These tendrils, or strands, of energy have no combative or defensive power, however, what they do have is an ever so sensitive reaction to physical movements and the movement of Spiritual Energy that passes through them. As soon as this happens Ochitsuki is able to react ahead of time before the attack or person reaches him. Even if an object such as a Sekkiseki stone were to be tossed into this field he would notice its movements based on the energy vanishing. Due to its sensitive nature it is an ability that he can turn off when it isn’t needed.

His Zanpakuto is a Wakizashi with an all-black sheath, black and grey grip with a regular square handguard with the blade of the Wakizashi appearing to be made of steel. He wears this Zanpakuto on his left hip.

Inner World: It is a world of endless night, an ever-present full moon whose light is occasionally blocked by passing clouds. The world itself is a maze of buildings designed after the barracks found in the Seireitei which are shrouded in a light fog. These maze of buildings do not seem to have a beginning or end as the moment Ochitsuki arrives he is placed in the middle of the maze where he must find and strike his spirit before he can begin any sort of training with it.

Release Phrase: "Feast upon the Heavens, Saryū"

Shikai: The blade of his Wakizashi turns black almost resembling charred plastic that has a sandpaper-like sensation to it when touched.

Shikai Special Ability: The blade of Saryū transforms into densely compacted grains of sand that can be freely controlled by Ochitsuki. This means the blade can suddenly increase its length, form a serrated edge, reshape into an ax head, or even a crude whip. The sand can also flow free from the hilt of the blade where it can form a wall in front of Ochitsuki or a bubble around him. It can also be used in an offensive manner compacting itself to form needles to impale foes or even surround his foe and tear them to shreds like a sand twister. The limitation on what this Zanpakuto can do is only limited to Ochitsuki's imagination.

However, the true terror of this Zanpakuto is not it's reshaping through the use of black sand grains. The true horror is the fact that these grains of sand consume whatever it is they land upon. Buildings, nature, liquids, Kido, and people alike are slowly consumed by the grains of sand left behind on their bodies. A gash made by Saryū can be closed and healed only to be opened once again from the festering grains of sand within. The effects of this ability aren't made apparent right away as the target will suffer from continued blood loss along with a wound that seems to grow wider and deeper as the battle continues. When they do take notice Ochitsuki will no doubt already be closing in on the kill.

Yasu is someone Ochitsuki met during his time at the Academy and no matter how much he tried to distance himself from others Yasu would always approach him. The girl was strange, even he could tell that much, yet it was a strangeness he could somewhat relate to. Every day she would somehow find the boy and chat with him doing everything she could to get a word out of him. At first, her attempts were met with silence and Ochitsuki's silence seemed to be rewarded in the form of a random snack that the girl would leave behind. This continued for years until he finally began responding with one-word answers until he eventually began responding with enough words to form a sentence, that is all Yasu would get out of the boy yet that seemed to satisfy her. To his surprise, both he and Yasu would be picked up by the Second Division he didn't care all too much where he ended up so long as he could do his family proud by being a Shinigami. However, deep down perhaps some part of him felt happiness or maybe even joy that he was able to be in the same Division with his first friend ever, Yasu.

Notable Features: Saiko has a tattoo on her thigh of a water sign. She also has bright purple hair covering the left side of her face. It also sticks out from the crowd, which means she can easily be spotted if she got lost. Not only this she has a smile on her face, mostly everytime you see her.
Personality:
Saiko is a carefree woman, who enjoys socializing with her peers, not only is she carefree she can be a joker at times, which means she can be a bit of a goofball hence why she wears a smile most of the time, she dislikes anyone to be upset. Saiko loves to annoy anyone who tends to be “Serious” of character. Though she may love to annoy people, she doesn’t go to extend where it can harm the relationship between them. Not only this she can become very mischievous and playful.
Even though she may come across as a positive person at most times, when it comes to duties like protecting people, patrolling for Hollows, or even doing the paperwork she tends to get very serious. This goes for being in battle or sparring with one of her above-ranking peers. She dislikes playing around during battle as she believes that she won’t be taken seriously enough if her playful side was in battle. Reiryoku Level:

High Spiritual Power-
Developing a high spiritual at a young age was not much out of the ordinary if she was born in a shinigami clan or at least a noble, however, she was born in the lower middle class, which meant her case was rare, her spiritual pressure is vastly more powerful than the average shinigami, but yet, it’s not particularly close to the immense or vast spiritual pressures. She had one of the most powerful pressures during her academy days, in her class at least. However, this had changed when she enrolled as a shinigami, in the 10th division. She met another. Roughly the same age as him though, he was more upperclassman during the academy days when she recognized him. This was Izanagi, soon she felt his full amount of pressure, she knew her power wasn’t as powerful as his. How does she know this you ask? Well, she witnessed the spar with a former third seat at the time, Shizuka. She felt scared at the vast power difference between Izanagi and herself.


Sensing Reiryoku:


Expert-
After years of refining her abilities slowly by training with her other shinigami’s in her squad and of course in the academy, Saiko can now sense better than before. In her earlier training days, the way she uses to sense was pure guessing and predicting, she later learned that was not sensing at all. Through proper training in later years, she learned how to sense properly. Her abilities in sensing include she can locate hollows who try and hide their pressure quite easily now, as well she doesn’t have to put her vast amounts of concentration into sensing now. As time went on she can detect pressures at least about a great distance from where would be standing, or even in close range she can track down the creature. She noticed Hollows and Shinigamis have different spiritual pressures and soon she had her first mission to protect Naruki City. As time went by and the more training she did, she is now capable of detecting other’s secret attacks within her range, in enough time she can react quickly enough time to dodge or block those hidden attacks,


Reiryoku Control:


Great Control-
Great Control- She wasn’t always the best at controlling the Reiryoku, indeed. When she was younger, her Reiyoku was pretty much out of control. This was until she joined the academy, they taught her the basics of how to control it. Ever since then Saiko has been training, getting better each time. She is currently good at controlling it but by far from being the best she can be controlled, which means she still has plenty more room to grow. Those who are not up to her level, can not sense her whenever she hides her presence. Her level of control of the advancements appears to be far more notable than those without. For example, her mastery allows her to distribute the desired amount of reiryoku to enhance her movements and attacks smoothly. This also includes control of the damage she can put in, at max strength or even minimum of strength.

Reiatsu:

Expert-
Whenever Saiko’s pressure is released, it’s usually calm like gentle waves, however, depending on her mood at the time of releasing the pressure can drastically change from calm to intense. When she is not very happy and rather angry her pressure can change drastically. When her Reiatsu is released, those around her can feel heavy and weak. Some might fall to their knees due to how heavy and dense the pressure can get. Another technique she developed during her training in the academy and learning about her zanpakuto was she can also correlate the spiritual pressure to her Zanpakuto causing the humidity in the air to change, for example, the air can get from humid to cold in an instant, this is one her effects from being a Water-based Zanpakuto user. With how tense and powerful her reiatsu radiates from her, it intimidates those who are not as strong.

With having a Katana-based Zanpakuto in shape, Saiko can use her Zanpakuto in its basic, non - Shikai form to defend or at least deflect attacks from enemies which are not powerful enough. Though she ain’t no master of Zanjutsu, she certainly knows how to work one. With all her training and hard work, she developed and over time perfected her Shikai, She is currently training to develop her Bankai, which she has not achieved just yet. During her training of perfecting her Shikai, she developed a technique using her basic form, known as Suikawari. She uses the technique to demolish Hollows when she is in a hurry. Even though this is her only technique at the time being, she is training hard to learn more Zanjutsu Techniques.

Shunpo Practitioner-


When it comes to Shunpo, Saiko is fast and can only maintain her speed for a short period of time. When she exceeds her limits, she can become very winded and out of breath to combat this. Currently, she is training every day to maintain her speed and increase her Shunpo. She does this by running around the 10th division in the morning. She holds a fair amount of knowledge of Hoho, and while engaging in combat she can use Shunpo to distance herself from the enemy, or she can close the distance while in combat to do close-range combat with the opponents. Despite being not as fast as others, she can relatively keep with some of those who are not as strong in Shunpo, those who don't process the talents of the ability.

Hakuda Combatant-
Saiko is not the very best at hand to hand combat, nor is she bad at it, she is what they call “Average” she prefers to use her Zanpakuto in combat rather than Hand to hand, but if it’s necessary she will use Hand to hand if her Zanpakuto has been taken away, or if she lacking her blade. Though she does train for Hakuda on occasions to keep up on the combat - type just in case if she needs to use it in combat, even though she doesn't really train for Hand to hand combat, she is quite muscular from training for it.



Kido Skill Level:

Kidō Specialist-
Saiko knows a few tricks up her sleeve, when it comes to Kido she is knowledgeable. Even though the classes in the academy were boring to her, however somewhat helped her out in the long term, leading her to be specializing in the practice. Knowing the incantations in the basics spells to defend herself with as well as to attack with. Not only does she know basic spells, but also she knows some advanced spells as well. She regularly uses Kido to distract or help others in need, Though she is mainly skilled in the Hado, she does know a few Bakudo spells.

When not in Shikai form, it appears as a normal katana-type sword, with the blade having to be a silver-like color with blue waves designed on it. With the end being a reddish color, with a black handle. holding to the name it’s giving “Hisuijin” which means Scarlet water blade.

Hisujin is in contrast to Saiko, who’s always happy and determined, however, Hisuijin almost always has a serious expression on his face, very reserved zanpakuto indeed, meaning he doesn’t really like to express how he’s really feeling nor does he like to tell people what's on his mind. He also displays a very strong justice type of personality as well, he holds no tolerance for people who do not know their Limits either, however when it comes to Saiko, he does let go over her limit a bit due to how persistent she truly is at times. Hisuijin holds a tremendous amount of respect towards Saiko, due to her strong determination.

When it comes to communication towards others, Hisuijin is a man of few words. He hates speaking to others when it’s not necessary, He usually “hmm” or grunt a lot to respond. This can annoy a lot of others due to him not giving them full replies. Despite all of this, he’s very protective of Saiko due to their close bond.

Shikai Special Ability:

Moisture Absorption - Whenever there is moisture nearby the Zanpakuto will absorb the moisture whether it be Sweat or even rain she can absorb it. The more moisture is absorbed into the zanpakuto the more powerful the attack is. If there is enough moisture that builds up, The Shikai will expand in length and increase the range as well as a more destructive force. When the Whip would strike, all the flowing moisture would turn into water, turning the weapon look like a Water Whip, as the water hits the opponent, it can tear the opponent to shreds, or even explode depending on the length and how much Destructive power had built up.

Biography:
Before Becoming a Shinigami:

Saiko didn’t really grow up poor nor did she grow up in a noble family, Her family had pretty much a stable income when she was growing up, being the only child of her family meant she didn’t have to compete for her parent's attention and love. Her family had a small restaurant in district 78, Insuri which is south of Rukongai. Growing up there meant she saw loads of poor families begging on the streets, or even the orphans stealing the goods from stalls, which led to more rowdiness. Saiko’s family is very loving and helps some Poor families by giving them leftover food from the end of the day.

For a few years, Saiko’s Spiritual power began to develop and over time it became quite powerful to the point she couldn’t control them. Being from a family that never really had anyone that immense spiritual she had, she took off to find someone to help her to find out how to control her own strength and power, that’s when she met a few shinigami’s on patrol the streets. The shinigami was not of any high ranking, however, they advised her to go to the academy and they will teach her how to control her pressure, and learn some techniques and she can become a “Shinigami herself” which interested her greatly.

With the advice she took from the shinigami’s on the street, she enrolled in the Shin’o Academy, during her first day she felt nervous, she thought to herself she couldn’t be a shinigami since she saw many others who were doing their classes, some were powerful others wasn’t so powerful. She went to the academy for a few years to perfect her own techniques, which was probably the best decision in her lifetime, she met many other Shinigamis with who she got along. Her best ability is Shunpo, which she developed the quickest. Though she also excelled in zanjutsu, her worst ability is Hakuda, even though it’s her worst technique to this day. Saiko had improved since then.

Saiko finally graduated from Shin’o Academy and enrolled in the 10th division, where she got the 11th seat, however, she continued to develop her skills, which piqued an interest in the previous captain of the 10th, within a year in the 10th division she got promoted to her current position, 4th seat of 10th.

Junko is almost never seen without her bubbly smile and behavior. A usual state of her personality mixed with an attitude that almost ensures her patients will trust her. Her actions are almost child like in nature, though she is always aware of her surroundings and moves about with ease despite her strange movements. A default state for her, she is not so naive as to not be attentive to situations that require a cool head. Though she can become overzealous in a fight to protect her comrades she will not move without purpose nor will she charge in blindly. The only exception is when following behind Omoni, whom she would follow anywhere at her command.

Despite her kind looking nature Junko contains great spiritual powers. A necessity with her Zanpakuto she studied tirelessly to become proficient enough to wield her shikai nearly effortlessly. Easy to see in the ease with which she can direct her shikai and its effects hitting their targets directly. This aids her Kidō spells, the few she has mastered without incantation all the more potent. She is able to hide her presence to those with lower levels than her though rarely uses this. Her main use of her ability is spreading her reiatsu across vast areas, such as the hospital, to spread the sensation of calm and pain relief to patients.

Studying the ability of her shikai along with the control and sense of reiryoku became critical. Her weapon requires the ability to feel each and every person surrounding her in moments while deciphering who is friend or foe; she must also sense their level of injury as well as enemy's threat to her. This leads to a constant awareness of the flow around her, picking up all that she can as if second nature. Full attentiveness to how much of her reiatsu is going where to heal and calm the fallen also made her proficiency necessary in this field.

With the nature of her shikai along with he previous life as a dancer Junko is very in tune with what is happening without and around her. Mastery over every single aspect of her reiryoku, she found, to be easier than mastery over the human body. Though not reaching the peak of mastery, she strives to better herself. Control is once more a large portion of her ability and requirements, lending her accuracy over her spells as well as to her Shunpo.
Necessary for the use of her reiatsu's effects she gained great control through much practice and use. This led her to be able to use her effects to certain degrees, lessening some and strengthing other aspects or focusing more on a certain person or area. Though in itself her reiatsu has a particular shape she is able to mold it as she sees fit, typically as a nearly invisible fog that blankets the hospital while she is working. This is changed if she is focused on a specific person or with a particular goal in mind, sometimes being simple tendrils.

Without intentionally exerting her reiatsu, those around her generally simply feel more peaceful and content when they are close to her. With a calming effect in passing, her exertion is different. Using her considerable control she can spread her reiatsu further and make the effects stronger. Used in battle or after, it eases the pain of comrades about her as well as relaxing them; thus allowing them to be treated and transported easier.

It is a fairly simple task for her to hide her presence from those with lower abilities, though she rarely uses this except if necessary to stealthily approach an enemy or to retrieve an injured comrade. With enough focus she can make an image of herself appear to distract a foe while tending to a fellow shinigami.

Though not incredibly skilled with a sword itself, her precision and speed with her shikai is a sight to behold. With much training into her speed as well as controlling the strange and awkward chakrams, Junko managed to become acceptable at using her tantō, she prefers to fight hand to hand rather than with the short weapon. However, due to her speed and the nature of her sealed Zanpakuto she can be quite dangerous with her sealed weapon as well if she is able to surprise the enemy. Though considerable effort during Academy was spent to better her swordsmanship, Junko could only master her own personal weapons and techniques that make them the most dangerous.

While in Academy Junko discovered the nature of her Zanpakuto. Wishing to become a field medic as well as needing speed to master her weapon, her training began. With higher levels than expected for her rank in reiatsu control as well as sensing, she is able to easily see and control the amount of reiatsu that is used with each and every movement she makes. Though she can generally be clumsy, when she focuses upon the task her speed has a huge increase.

She was not able to completely reach her goal in Academy. 50 years as a nurse in Squad Four, however, greatly helped her increase her speed as she zoomed from room to room and patient to patient. Within such a restricted area this still made training difficult, leaving her another reason to strive to become a field medic.

With the news of being sent on missions to the World of the Living she worked all the harder, training herself to move at an even faster pace to allow her to reach her comrades as well as to aid her in battle.

With Omoni as her role model, hakuda became very important to Junko. Becoming proficient with most hand-to-hand combat, she is held back by her need to stay fast as well as her size. Through rigorous training she achieved larger muscles than before she had been in Fourth; this was the peak of their growth. Junko was never able to get any larger physically despite her strength growing. Eventually her strength began to match her size more. This leaves her with rapid movement but perhaps not the strongest attacks, usually leaving her to release a flurry all at once to compensate.

Junko's fighting tactics align less with a particular style and more as a mixed martial artist. Finding power and merit in multiple styles instead of one she has not mastered a specific art, though is highly proficient in a wide variety. Her favored and best skills lie with Jujutsu and Muay Thai. In this manner she is able to use the opponent's own force against them rather than confronting it with her own. She is prone to clinching attacks to trap her enemy and release a flurry of strikes or deal a more deadly blow with her weapon. Throws are also very useful for her, allowing her to not have to face an attack fully but rather transfer the energy they have put toward her.

Although she is small this is precisely what makes her fighting effective for her. With the proper understanding of where to place her center of gravity it is no great difficulty to toss an enemy or keep them pinned down. This position is where Muay Thai is useful to her, a combat style that utilizes her feet, fists, knees and elbows to all deal damage. Both are also useful in exploiting her own momentum, able to deal a devastating strike from a further distance with a simple jump or spin to propel her. Quick jabs to target areas such as the throat and joints are also useful. The combined effect of these styles allows her to nearly seamlessly tranistion from fighting an opponent hand to hand closely to a distance and even to the ground, all the while not having such concern over size differences.

With her interest in medicine came her interest in Kidō. The uses it had practically as well as for treatment and protection of patients fascinated her. It took little prodding for her to spend much of her spare time from her other focuses to study Kidō. Her silly nature can make her appear too ditzy to allow for the focus required; this is highly deceitful. A honest smile on her face comes from the ability to separate her work and her life. Patients stay at work. Awful events and tragedies stayed there. with true contentedness in her normal daily life comes complete focus while working.

Aside from Academy and her personal teachings, she learned much working in Fourth as a nurse. Paying close attention to any Kidō spell ever cast before her, she would ask about it as soon as the opportunity arose. This led to a grand arsenal of techniques. Although she knows many, most require incantations; the exception being spells she studied in particular for being the most used or useful.

Capable of casting low level spells, healing and attack alike, so quickly she can hardly be seen doing so. This is most useful during battle as a diversion and for quick healing as she passes by one who requires assistance. She is able to combine spells, though not many and not higher levels. Her focus became mostly on healing techniques. Extremely difficult healing is simpler to her, an understanding of the movement and potency of her and the surrounding reiryoku as well as anatomy giving her an advantage in the hospital.

Barriers also an important factor, these were more important to Junko than higher level attack spells. Protecting her comrades as well as herself during healing an obvious need. Complex and higher level attacks require more focus, taking away from the battle somewhat, and she is unable to weave these together as of yet.

While her Zanpakuto boasts great melee power as well as what could be considered a "barrier" with fast enough movements, Junko's Zanpakuto was also meant to heal. Her chakrams large shape as well as easy rotation can surround her with ease, razor sharp spikes adorning the edges and able to cut to the bone if allowed near enough.

Gumyōchō establishes a "connection" with those who are struck by it, be it a small scratch or a larger injury. This connects Junko with the enemy, resulting in any injuries already present upon her person or inflicted while activated to also appear on the other.

A temporary third connection can be created that does not transfer Junko's wounds to the other party. Rather with one minor strike to an ally an association can be created to convert their wounds entirely to an enemy. This will completely displace all harm from a comrade, leaving them fully healed. However once this process is completed they are no longer attached. Without repeating the process any further injuries to the person will not be relocated to the target.

Another short lived connection can be created with a separate enemy, or ally if the situation is dire enough to require her to do so as they are able to receive immediate treatment where she is not. After a hit upon them she is capable of relieving herself of damage, inflicting it on the second adversary. This will leave her healed entirely, though would require reproducing the contact between them or another agent to mend herself once again. There is no effect on the original connection. Previous trauma shared from Junko's body will not be healed through this nor traditional healing methods, and they will continue to receive any further damage.

Notable Features:
Himari is easily noticeable, thanks to heterochromia that leaves her with one gray eye and one blood red eye. Her hair is icy blue, usually tied up to keep it out of her way and for it to be better manageable. Her skin is pale, as if it has never been touched by the sun. Her face seems to be permanently cold, no hints of a smile or emotion. This helps her hide behind her wall, not wanting to show herself to others out of fear. Over the years, she ditched the long Shihakusho for a shorter, more feminine one. This was a small choice of her own, to show some change to those around her. She didn’t want to be seen as the small, shy girl any longer. This was the first step.




Personality:
Seemingly cold, Himari is actually a pretty soft girl. She mainly holds a guard over herself as a protective shield. She relies on wanting to better herself, being better in anyways, but she is also scared of change and also of being a failure. Though she doesn’t say this to those around her, she thinks of it constantly. She is very hot-headed, in contrast to her Zan’s power, and anything can cause her to get angry. She is one that believes that respect is earned, not just given. And she wishes to be someone who has earned respect. She always wishes to be someone greater, someone, who will make someone proud.


She is hard-working, which tends to make her be super hard on herself. The littlest things can cause her to think she is a failure. So she would need a group of people around her to push her out of this, and get her out of their comfort zone.

Reiryoku Level: High Spiritual Power
Ever since Himari joined Shino Academy, the people around her were determined she had spiritual energy far above an average Shinigami. This was one of the main reasons she was admitted into the Academy to begin with. Even with her potential for growth, her well of spiritual power saw little advancement over the years.

Sensing Reiryoku: Expert
One thing Himari grew to enjoy in the Academy was long range combat, something she showed to be exceptionally well in. This was mainly because she preferred to attack from distance, not because she had to, contrary to popular belief.

With the sharpening of her Reiatsu Chikaku (霊圧知覚, "Spiritual Pressure Perception"), she is now able to react to opponents who are faster than she is, being able to easily predict their movements and attack patterns to be able to know how to react at nearly any given time. This helps her to be able to use her Zanpakuto to freeze her opponents; even if they are at a distance. Furthermore, her Skill and ability in detecting and following spiritual power also allows her to sense the strength of the opponent she faces, helping her know exactly how much she needs to prepare when formulating an attack, to dodge and counter attack, all while allowing her to focus on the flow of spiritual power being channeled for certain Kido spells. Her greatest use of the ability is for hanki, specifically for her Counter-Kidō combat, studying the flow of reiryoku for the specific purpose of cancelling out opposing spells cast by practitioners of Kidō



Reiryoku Control: Great Control
Since her days in the Academy, Himari has always shown a keen interest in Kidō. Like any normal person, the praise she received in her performance helped encourage her to strive furter in the field, often receiving compliments on her initial knack for the spells she practiced. This led her to train harder to control her Reiryoku, allowing her to further hone these skills. The control of her spiritual power helped her be able to focus on two things at once when utilizing her Zanpakuto’s shikai, erasing the weakness of having to maintain her focus on a single target and one single task. Training to divide her focus on the flow of her spiritual power in two became routine for her while at the Academy. This skill of dividing the flow of her spiritual power to complete separate tasks simultaneously was one that demanded she learn patience, something Himari had always struggled with. Regardless, it is largely due to her interest in Kidō and her strong will to master it which allowed her to become better with her control over time. With enough focus she can hide her presence fairly well, a tactic that requires her to maintain focus and concentration for now.​



Reiatsu: Specialist
Thanks to Himari’s personality type; emotional instability, and an innate fear of failure and being looked down upon, she would often easily lose control at the slightest setback that comes her way. Something that happened quite often during her directionless journey as a Shinigami. Through her tenure in the Academy she began to learn more and more how to reign her power in and to even slightly weaponize it, allowing her reiatsu to flare out, much like how an animal may cause its fur or feathers to stand up and stick out in order to appear larger than it really is in the face of predators, Himari when exerting her spiritual pressure releases it in powerful concentrated bursts to temporarily distract her opponents in an effort to either escape or get in a sneak attack, the sudden weight of her reiatsu striking against her unwary opponents causing her to appear far stronger and confident. Through developing her control over her spiritual power she became rather capable of temporarily concealing her reiatsu, but only through concentration and not for prolonged times.

Similar to her Shikai’s ability to stop an opponent or attack in place, her reiatsu when exerted holds similar applications. When stimulating her reiatsu, allowing it to seep from her very soul and to flare out, those within proximity to her begin to feel their movements grow heavier as if weighed down, to cause thoughts to temporarily grow stalled or stunned, causing the affected to black out temporarily, and even suppress one’s breathing and heart rate if affected for too long. Depending on how she controls her reiatsu, these effects can be slow or sudden. It's because of this effect along with her naturally cold demeanor that a chill runs down the spine of those unfortunate enough to make her serious or upset, leading some to mistakenly believe the chill they are feeling to be an effect of her reiatsu trying to freeze them in place, mistaking it as a pseudo-elemental power.

Zanjutsu: Practitioner
Zanjutsu (斬術, Swordsmanship; Viz "Art of the Sword")

In the academy, Zanjustu was one of Himari’s most obvious weak points. Himari seemed to have no natural talent for it, or so she believed. However, despite this, she has a decent understanding of the sword and is able to fight with it when necessary.
The main reason Himari seemed to struggle with Zanjustsu was partially because she never really felt she had the adaptability to wield a sword. She never was good at being able to really become one with her sword enough to mainly use it in fighting, which also led her to just down right now want to train in honing her swordsmanship.

Over the years, Himari has since grown more accustomed to her blade, having held and practiced with it for the past one hundred years. Her stubbornness and frustration at her own weakness caused her to want to perfect this, despite it being an area where she constantly came short. She can now be seen looking a little more confident with her blade, less clumsy with her sword swings, yet she is far from perfect. She wishes to grow at this in due time, which may well help to grow her interest with this skill set.

Hohō Level: Shunpo Expert
Hohō (歩法, Step Method; Viz "Fast Movement")
Having a preference for long range attacks has led her to become quite good with Hohō, allowing her to be able to maintain a distance from her opponents. She preferred to keep herself well out of reach of an opponent, especially those who had a tendency to try and close this distance. Being able to move swiftly when needed more often than not serves to give her time to cast a perfect shot at her opponent through her use of Kido for ranged attacks. Building off of this foundation, she developed her perception, reflexes and reaction time against fast paced opponents and attacks during training, simultaneously working to respond to multiple opponents and attacks launched from multiple angles. Able to create and conversely close vast distances in one or two steps, Himari’s footwork is more than able to confuse those observing or following her, making it extremely difficult to predict her movements let alone perceive them. She is easily a slippery and difficult target to catch up to, making it even easier for her to attack or retreat.

Himari was never one to like close quarter combat, and it was something she was always uncomfortable to perfect and engage in. Let it be by blade or hand, she wasn’t the strongest when it came to hand to hand combat. Of course, she knew she had to work on this to defend herself in the line of battle, let it be if she was disarmed or in some cases not able to wield her weapon.

Kidō (鬼道, Demon/Spirit Way; Viz "Demon Arts")

Due to Himari not having enough skill set to be able to rely solely on her Zanpakuto, she needed to focus on Kidō to help her level the playing field while fighting. Being proficient in Kidō was also a subject Himari was very interested in while in the Academy. The ability to have a defense even when she couldn’t do anything long distance with her sword was of great interest and necessity to Himari.

Soon, she grew to be one of the best in her class. Having studied various different incantations and being able to recite them as if it were like breathing to her. She was able to forego them when she needed to cast the spells she needed, any spell she needed without having to think too hard.

Thanks to her interest in reading the flow of others through their spiritual pressure, she was also able to cancel out the spells others directed at her through hankai. This led her to show potential to become a counter Kido specialist, being able to cancel kido with one hand while being able to cast with the other. This was a skill that demanded fine control of one's spiritual power, being able to. divide this control like this. As if splitting her body in two. Even through this, it was an ability that would fail against masters such as Fourth and Fifth Division Captains

Special rings that Himari wears upon her fingers. The rings while appearing to be simple and bland in terms of design are in reality, hidden weapons at her disposal. With a flick of her wrist or flinger, along with the flowing of her reiryoku the upper portion of the ring is expelled, fired off like a bullet and detonating with the destructive force of a full powered Sōkatsui. Himari also carries rings of a similar design that instead act to cause concussive force, breaking through walls, stone, earth and bone. These tools were designed to help further exploit her shikai's abilities in combat.

Zanpakuto Name: Fudō Myōō (不動明王, “Immovable Wisdom King”, “The Immovable One”)

Fudō Myōō (不動明王)[/b] is a rather sleek sword, and though not truly unique, it is beautifully polished to the eye. When not drawn, it’s covered by silky leather, with small metal pieces on the tip and on the bottom. On the tip, the metal has a blue jewel inside of it, shaped like a teardrop. And at the bottom, blues ribbons are braided all the way to the bottom half of the metal, where another blue jeweled teardrop can be seen. The hilt of the blade is black, accompanied by four jeweled tear drops down the length.

Zanpakuto Spirit:
Fudō in his physical state takes the form of a titan-like figure, with rock-like wings and blue toned skin, eyes, and hair, all in a different beautiful hue. Just like Himari, he is cold in both expression and demeanor, as if he were an ice statue. Due to Himari’s stubborn ways, he is stern, cut throat, and bold in his mannerisms and tone when speaking to her. He is constantly the counter of her doubts, always reprimanding or threatening her, telling her to get her shit together or he will kill her himself. Even through this, he believes she is capable of wielding him and properly harnessing his power, however he refuses to hold her hand to get her there.

Inner World:

In this place, it looks as if it was placed in the dead of winter. It should be cold, of course, but Himari feels nothing. Nothing moves in this world. There is no wind, the water surrounding the cliff doesn’t move, the snow that was falling from the sky is frozen in place, suspended in the air never to reach the ground. The whole world is stuck in time, like a picture.

As you climb up the pillar-like cliff, at the very top it is there where Fudō Myōō resides, ever in wait and rest. Stuck like a rock, he also appears to be frozen in time, only to be disturbed when Himari arrives into the inner world.

As the zanpakuto transitions into its shikai form, the once plain and polished sword appears to widen in width, a vibrant blue design etched within the center of the blade. The sword’s tsuka vanishes, while two beads and a tassel dangle from the end of the zanpakuto.

Shikai Special Ability:
When transformed, Himari's zanpakuto traps whatever the blade points at into a state of stasis, effectively freezing people, objects, and even attacks in place, giving the illusion that time has frozen. So long as her zanpakuto is pointed at the target of her choosing, it will forever be robbed of its ability to move. Himari primarily uses her zan's ability to pause attacks launched her way, giving her time to make a swift and strategic retreat, steadily growing more confident in exploiting its power to stall an enemy long enough for her to close the distance between them to launch an attack of her own. Given her immaturity in utilizing her zanpakuto, stronger opponents or, rather opponents with stronger reiatsu demand more of her own spiritual power to freeze them in place.

Biography:
Himari was an only child to the politician Akiko and wife, Simori. As a young girl, Himari was a child of privilege. Himari attended the best private schools in Japan, Himari was truly gifted in various arts: from drawing to Judo and Fencing. Her parents never allowed her to have her own mind and opinions, which led Himari to feel unhappy. She understood her parents were doing this so she could have a good life, but having the cameras on her all the time and not having a say in her own life only brought Himari even more unhappiness, and as the years grew, it only got worse.

As Himari grew older, so did the resentment of her parents. The older she got, the more distant she became. She refused to go to the private schools, and instead started going to public schools. This allowed her to discover even more ways to rebel.

In high school she was sadistic, manipulative, and obsessed with gaining the attention of others. This was drawn from the distance of her parents, and the pure hate she had for her father. She got into many fights due to her anger. This was also a means to get her suspended and show to the Japanese people that she, Himari, the daughter of a popular political figure, was flying off the rails. It got even worse when she met an older man who she grew to love.

The relationship she had with this man tore her family apart even more, her father not approving, and her mother being down right saddened that her daughter would choose a mob boss over her own family. Eventually she would go and live with him, leaving her family behind. The relationship started off well, him loving her and she loving him. However it started to become known that he was only with her to take over her family name, which began to lead to abuse. It reached the point where it left her giving out information of her family, leading to the deaths of her entire family estate.

This also resulted in her death, due to the man having no further use for her. This led her to be silent and reserved in the spiritual realm. Although still harboring a lot of anger and resentfulness, which can lead to anger issues and needing extra help with handling her anger and expressing herself.
Life in the Rukon District:
When she first arrived in the Rukon district, she was silent, didn’t talk to anyone, and mainly lived her life stealing from those around her. She used her silent feet and quick instincts learned from Judo to her advantage here, being able to steal food and belongings from other souls before they even noticed she had done it. One thing Himari found was that it was easy to gain friends, something she didn’t want but soon couldn’t live without. She had a small gang, whom she felt were siblings. Something she wished she had in the World of the Living. These people were younger than her, and she soon became their caregiver.

Things took a turn when some Shinigami visited the district, beings she had heard of a few times. These soul reapers grew angry when an old woman ran out of alcohol, which led to them leaving the bar in shambles. Having been a regular, she was there at that time. Himari wasn’t one to let things slide, soon becoming involved. Even though she had no spiritual power she was good with her sword, and she had tried to fight them to make them leave. In the end she was beaten so completely that she was left bloody and broken. Before the soul reapers left however, one slyly commented that she was brave, and maybe she had what it took to even gain entrance into the Academy.

After Himari healed, her anger at the soul reapers would set her ambitions toward entering the Academy. She wasn’t from royal blood, she didn’t know anything of the world. But something was in her favor and she was allowed to enroll in the Academy. Again, she received comments of her having bravery, and showing some potential she joined.
