“RUI!
What's the big idea!
You know I’m only joking!
You can KILL SOMEONE WITH THAT KIND OF SHIT!”
“I’LL KILL YOU THEN!”

She would’ve continued her swinging, but seeing him raise his hands in surrender had Akarui freezing with her blade raised behind her. A heavy sigh escaped and she sheathed her sword. Idly listening to his apology, she dusted her hands when she felt the rip that she’d caused from clenching her fists so hard.

Panic.
Alarms blared in her head and she nearly blew another fuse. These gloves were one of the few presents she received on her birthday. Only a handful of people ever got her anything, those people including Honoka, her mother, Yami, and sometimes Kiku if he managed to remember it. The split seams could easily be sewn back to perfection, but it felt wrong to mend them from the original stitching. They’d been a gift just before Yami’s departure. Not to mention that the material was extremely expensive.
Pulling the gloves off of her hands, she tucked them away into the inside of her coat and caught sight of that Kiyoshi boy taking his leave from the Kuchiki Manor. A step forward and her body positioned itself directly behind Shusuke, taking hold of the white cloak that shielded his disappointed expression and yanked it back so roughly that he would’ve fallen from the sudden motion. Rui then began to drag him unceremoniously to meet Kiku on the outside of the Sixth Division. With a hand on her hip, Akarui made no room for arguments, had Shusuke begun to speak against her she would’ve shut him up with a vicious glare. Turning her attention back to Kiku, she motioned and raised a hand in the direction of the Rukongai.
“Junrinan. Let’s go there for lunch.”
Looking back down at Shusuke, she finally addressed him properly. It was a start to get him to stop moping. With Kiku, he should've offered to make up for the ass-kicking. Figuring that she may have been rude since the start, Akarui did something she hadn't done in... forever: let loose.
“My name is Akarui of the First Division, and I am the 18th Head of the Gekkō Clan.”

He picked up his zanpakuto' from the grass as he walked from the tree to the sixths entrance. Slipping them back into its scabbards he was without words, his hair messed from his previous encounter, normally he would've fixed it from his face as his black strands covered a majority of his eyes. Not the way he would've liked things to go, absolutely. He would've much preferred to have been left alone and forgotten about, taking off. His hilts tussled at his side, En'enra screaming in his brain telling him to turn himself around and strike down that Shinigami. Livid was an understatement, deprived of what could have been something spectacular all because her master didn't have what it took. It was a shame really. He ignored her pleas all the same as he had done before so comfortably, but it wasn't so comfortable this time. He wanted to turn around, but shame prevented him from looking in the opposite direction. However, he would feel a literal physical force soon be cast over his face, white in color until it encapsulated his eyes before turning everything before him black. He went to unsheathe his zanpakuto but was too late, his body fell hard to the ground with a…
THUD
His back flat to the ground of his Division, he wanted to fight out of it but figured what the point was. If someone could quite easily enough trap him with such simplicity maybe he truly deserved to put his sword down. He groaned as he toppled over, the wind nearly knocked from his chest he tried to reclaim it in a large gap of air. In the same moment, he was dragged by the linen smeared to his face, his Shihakusho and Hakama was sure to be riddled with dust and grass stains once this was all over. His expression was blank and unamused, visually unimpressed with the situation and himself. Again? How could he have been made a fool, again? In nearly the same instance.
Sight now finally given to him once more, he found himself on the ground back in the same spot he had just finished getting tossed around in. He laid before the Shinigami whom he had just met, the white haired one still had the aloof look on his face while the other. Shusuke was met with a look of not hostility like before, but a look of instant seriousness. He was ready to give lip to the person who made him look more foolish than he had already made himself out to be, but once he caught a glimpse of the gaze Akarui gave him. Immediate second thoughts. He soon lifted himself from the ground and brushed off all the debris he could from his uniform. He tried to not make eye contact with either of them, still visibly embarrassed. He wondered why she dragged him back over, pity? He had no desire for it, nor did he deserve it. Pity. For whom he imagined. He then heard her say something he didn't think he was going to receive. Introducing herself as the clan head to the Gekko, this made Shu lift his head. Why the change of heart? Could it be that she saw him and his clan as no threat and mockingly introduced herself? Regardless, this made him give her a small grin and he gave her a small bow in respect. He watched as she took off, hearing them mention something about lunch he wondered if it would be alright If he tagged along. It was around that time of day anyway, he had just finished training and food sounded like the best thing to take his mind off of a few things.
Deciding to tag along. He looked to Kiku and spoke.
"She really beats to the sound of her own drum doesn't she…? I guess we'd better follow before you get another earful."
He said jokingly. Soon taking off after the tiny woman, he wondered what today's lunch would hold and where they would eat.

She parades through the halls of her barracks, the place she calls home, surrounded by the people she calls family. She walks with the deliberate grace and care of a seasoned shrine maiden — blue hair bound and bundled into a single ponytail bounces and sways behind her. She scans her surroundings from left to right, nodding her head as she watched those she passed diligently at work in one manner or another.
Still, she had yet to come face to face wi-
She stops as she rounds the next corner. A young male with dual toned hair approaches. His steps, contrary to her own, were rough and sluggish. She knit her brows as she stared at him, the face of the man who drew closer matching the photo attached to a file.
The two images are laid parallel within her mind, and the name to the face surfaces. It was the object of her search, the very man she needed to confront.
Izanagi Kiyoshi
His approach was already slow given his lethargic steps, but still he advanced. The closer he got, the more she was able to perceive and inspect. His appearance, posture, the very atmosphere around him.
”Tsk”
The Vice-Captain sucked her teeth. It seems this man would certainly be a project, he had the air of a “problem child” about him. She folds her arms, barring the man’s path. Though there was still some distance between the two, if he wanted to proceed onward, he first needed to go past Fuyuko. She didn’t demand much, a simple greeting, an exchange of a few words would suffice. She had matched the name to the face, now she needed to delve deeper to further understand this strange man.
”Hello, you must be Izanagi-kun.”
The Vice Captain takes the initiative to speak. As always a warm smile graces her face, gentle and disarming.
”I’m Fuyuko Kusumi, Vice Captain of the 10th Division...a pleasure.”
She greets, her arms still folded with smile still worn — her stance...unwavering.

“I’LL KILL YOU THEN!”
Kiku's eyes almost opened a little wider than normal, Rui was serious . It then made him chuckle, he started to laugh a little harder than normal even grabbing his sides from it. By the time he had finished, she was gone. Surprised he looked around until he saw Rui fleas over to where Shusuke was headed. Watching a bit confused, she would drag him back to where Kiku was.
"Junrinan. Let’s go there for lunch.” She snapped at no one particular. Rui would then look down at Shusuke, who's messy hair and cluttered look now gained the appeal of being dirty and having grass stains. kiku would sigh, ' That's almost worse than being beat by a single kido....' Kiku would think with his right hand scratching the top of his head. His left stationed on his chin as if thinking. Rui would then introduce herself to Shusuke;
“My name is Akarui of the First Division, and I am the 18th Head of the Gekkō Clan.”
Kiku would lift a brow at her exposing secrets of her life to a stranger. Then shrug and help Shusuke up off the ground, patting his clothing off to remove the dirt. Shusuke would then look to Kiku and say; "She really beats to the sound of her own drum doesn't she…? I guess we'd better follow before you get another earful."
Kiku would chuckle to himself as they all started to walk towards the Rukongai, Taking a deep breath and relaxing his chest from his fit of laughter throughout the day, Kiku would give Shusuke's should a pat and say in a lazy tone; " Don't provoke her, but yes, yes she does. " Putting his hands into his sleeves he would walk along side the two off into the distance.

Izanagi walked out of the room and entered the hallway; both hands were within the pockets of the hakama pants. Both of Izanagi's eyes closed shut while he walked all lazy-like.
The sound of thumping was from the steps along the waxed wooden floor of this widening path, where two people could walk side by side.
A few shinigami would have either ran passed him to exit the quarters or heading elsewhere for whatever reason. But he didn't make eye contact with them too much; he didn't like the attention or eyes watching him. The reason could be Izanagi doesn't want to be "the focus" of someone else without knowing the reason why.
It makes him feel a little uneasy that a group of people he doesn't know stare at him without knowing what or the why.
Nevertheless, he wanted to ask them where Captain Higen is, but socializing isn't his strong suit, at least with people he doesn't know well. His eyes remain straight and right down the stretch of this hall. Occasionally have both eyes steer off the path every little while, taking in the detail of his surroundings: nothing intriguing insight but room after room with a few decor along the walls.
Taking his sweet time in his walk where both eyes then begin to open, allowing the lids to uncover those lavender eyes, he suddenly noticed another shinigami emerging from around the corner. He took a glance in her direction, but it was rather quick for as much he didn't like being stared by strangers. He didn't wish to stare too long at strangers himself, and it makes it feel slightly awkward.
Although, the swift glimpse of her appearance allowed Izanagi to have the image of a few things about her look. Mainly the long single blue ponytail, where it swayed side to side and her sash. He has forgotten one more detail about her image, where curiosity slowly builds and advises him to look, which both eyes shifted over to the left simultaneously for a quick moment.
Ah yes.
Those eyes were on him like a lion hiding somewhere among the bushes, watching its prey. Izanagi noticed how she was looking in his direction, but for what reason? Is it the hair? Something on his face? Could be the drool from sleeping earlier?
"No. It couldn't be drool."
He thought.
Furthermore, to make sure he isn't paranoid, both eyes closed shut as he continued to take his stroll, planning to do as he typically does to everyone else. Ignore them. Best option.
"Just keep walking Izanagi. Keep Walking. She will walk pass like the rest of th-"
”Hello, you must be Izanagi-kun.”

The last step came to a halt while the voice of the female reached his ears, mainly the sound of his name exiting from her mouth. How did she know his name? Izanagi wonder who this person was, and again, eyes opened up while his face twisted into more of a puzzling expression—taking in the imagery of her attractive features, where she appears to be a young child, given her height. But no one he knows or recognized.
"Huh?....Oh yes. I am Izanagi Kiyoshi........wait. Who are you?
Izanagi asked her while having a confused tone behind his words.
"I’m Fuyuko Kusumi, Vice-Captain of the 10th Division...a pleasure.”

She introduced herself with both arms folded while putting on this graceful smile. Izanagi leans forward, bending his body to her level of height, getting a closer look at her face, invading in her personal space while having this weird look. Where his head would turn sideways, allowing the one eye to inspect her closely. You'll think Izanagi was trying to stare into the depths of her soul, trying to get an idea of what she is like beneath the surface.
"Nope."
Izanagi just blurted out. Leaning back upright to his full height, hands still in the pockets.
"Sorry. I had to be sure you weren't anyone that I recognized. However, it is nice to meet you, Vice-Captain Fufuko Kassume."
He said with a soft smirk that emerged across his face.
"Actually, I am looking for Captain Hagen.....Have seen him? Not entirely sure where to find him."
He asked her after sharing pleasantries.
