Personality: Tenzen is a rather aloof figure who will only speak when he has something to say or when being spoken to. Because of this, he is often viewed as antisocial and/or mean spirited, and this isn't exactly the case. Tenzen is just socially awkward and isn't well versed in interacting with others on a friendly/social level. This makes conversations with him come off as awkward or even making him seem like a "weirdo". The cause of this is due to his habit of always observing things in an analytical nature, be it something someone said, body language or facial expressions. Because this is he tends to read into things deeper than what is there, on a social level at least. In regards to his mental train of thought for battle or things regarding official Gotei 13 business, he maintains a healthy dose of paranoia that he uses to examine situations from different perspectives than his own. This mindset is what gave birth to his self proclaimed title of being a strategist as the gears of his mind are always turning, situations always being looked at down to the most minute detail, people's words and behaviors being observed and picking up on subconscious habits of others. He combines all this to place himself steps ahead of his opponent if it is by one step or ten and this is also why he can't maintain a normal conversation with anyone as simply asking him out for tea or ramen will make him over-analyze the question and take ages to give a simple yes or no.
Tenzen Oda can also be considered a bit of a nihilist as he believes everyone to be empty. His beliefs aren't to be taken as sinister or to offend those around him it's just how he views other living beings, animals not included. As mentioned before with his analytical nature he can and will strip a person down to there bare being, mentally at least, removing bits of their personality, categorizing each bit of their personality into separate sections to ultimately conclude what sort of person they are. He does this as he views them as empty beings who took on these traits from others around them, influenced by the things they see or hear when in truth, his perspective of truth, all beings, himself included, are empty. But just because he believes they are empty he does not devalue them in any way shape or form as he also believes emptiness can have form, shape. The things that fill that form are the things he mentally strips from others to see said form, to see that person for who/what they really are. This viewpoint can be taken as nihilistic in some regard but what stops him from being a full-on nihilist is the fact that he believes everything has some meaning, no matter how small it is. The things the empty forms do in their daily lives have meaning to it.
Lastly, Tenzen is a man of impeccable calmness and levelheadedness which were self-taught due to his analytical nature and how he views himself and others as empty forms. This calmness allows him to assess a situation, no matter how intense, with a clear and open mind. He does not view himself as a know it all and this open-mindedness allows him to listen to the opinions of others as he understands he isn't all-seeing and that he could have possibly missed something. That said, despite his awkward nature socially, he is a team player and has respect for his fellow shinigami regardless of their rank.

Reiryoku Level: Vast Spiritual Power
Tenzen's Reiryoku can be considered a void similar to that of outer space, something it is so massive and vast, yet empty and full at the same time. Like that void in the sky, it seems to reach on without end both within himself and outward and like meteors falling into the atmosphere from the void, his Reiryoku can provide to be equally as dangerous. With constant meditation and self-control, he can keep his Reiryoku in check but when the need arises he can let this control slip, like a rope holding a bolder by a single strand it can happen instantly and unsuspectingly. When released it still maintains that ever stalwart control that is able to cut down lesser foes from a distance with it like a blade. For most Shinigami, their own Reiryoku is their first taste of power and Tenzen is no exception other than the fact he saw it as a weapon to be used against his enemies. This void of Reiryoku lends to his mastery over Kido and the uncanny strength they have when launched with or without incantations and on the opposite side, it lends to his ability to overpower Kido used by other Shinigami, especially those who are mere practitioners or experts.
Tenzen never lets his Reiryoku flood out wildly, without purpose at least, if it does he secludes himself for hours on end meditating on why it happened and working on a way to resolve it. This is how Tenzen managed to control his Reiryoku so masterfully without the aid of gadgets, seeking a solution to the problem and fixing it himself. However, there are times when the void must make its presence known and so Tenzen will willingly let it flood out during this moment he seems more relaxed than normal as he lets go of the strict control he has on it and in short, he feels at peace. The void of Reiryoku within Tenzen is something he works on controlling daily, it brings him great joy to do this as he enjoys the fact that he is constantly working on self-improvement and self-betterment things he has ingrained into his very being.

Sensing Reiryoku: Master
This was one of the first things Tenzen dedicated himself to mastering and once again calling back to his self teachings further enhanced this trait. Seeing people as empty forms allow him to pick up on unique quirks within each person and as such being able to distinguish each person from one another. Almost like a detective, he uses this trait to recreate a scene of a battle or even a simple exchange of words between two spiritual beings, although he can't exactly tell what they are saying so he resorts to reading their body language. When he does this he sees their silhouettes filled with the color of their Reiryoku, from there it plays out like a powerpoint. When he wants to find someone specific, granted he has a face/name to put with the Reiryoku, he hones in on their unique "form" to track them down while the "tracks" reveal themselves to him as a stream of energy in the color of that person's Reiryoku.
In battle, Tenzen uses this trait to somewhat predict an opponent's next move, but not to an extreme degree. It has to do with how their Reiryoku shifts within them before they strike, with that said Tenzen is sensing this in real-time and must decide on his next move within that moment. Because of this, surprise attacks with Kido or Cero can often fail against him due to how the Reiryoku will focus on the area it is being concentrated. Tenzen will usually call this out to his opponent and use it to put them off balance, even in a duel with blades he will do the same to force the person into believing he has foresight. His sense of Reiryoku is one of his greatest tools and weapons, once again displaying his nature to waste nothing.

Reiryoku Control: Mastered Control
This was the first thing Tenzen dedicated himself to mastering as he viewed control over his Reiryoku as control over himself as well. This control ranges from releasing it in a massive flood to bottling it up entirely allowing himself to vanish into thin air. This is the trait that allows him to wield his Reiryoku like a blade and allows him to use it with pinpoint precision. This control was gained through his mediation and beliefes as he refused to be a man with such calm and controlled thoughts let his Reiryoku run wild like an untamed beast. Furthermore, he saw it as a viable weapon to use and so he trained, used meditation, and purged himself of wild fanatical thoughts to garner the control he sought. With this control in hand, he felt at peace with himself and has felt this peace ever since. This unwavering peace in his being is the core of his control over himself which allows him to perform Kido spells without fail, enhance his speed, strength and is what gave birth to his own unique Hakuda style.
Reiatsu: Master
The Reiatsu exerted by Tenzen has an unsettling calm to it, an unsettling calm that can be compared to a tide quietly receding from the shore only to return as a massive tsunami or tidal wave. While he has a healthy pool of Reiryoku to work with he tends to let it seep out slowly and steadily, like a receding tide. Once those around him feel comfortable with this slow release is when he lets it crash down upon them like a tsunami, depending on the situation he'll continue to bare it down without pause. When observing this it can be noted that the space around Tenzen begins to warp and skew almost like a void is being formed around his very being. To say that is forming wouldn't do it justice as that would be a basic observation, beings who can withstand his Reiatsu will have a different observation entirely, that the space around Tenzen is being erased. Whether this is an optical illusion or actually happening is unknown due to the surrealism of it and when he settles the release all seems to return to normal. His Reiatsu also seems to show no destructive properties towards his environment, this is due to him using restraint, control, and him focusing his Reiatsu on specific targets. With that said Tenzen can focus on multiple targets when it comes to baring down his Reiatsu, using this as a way to immobilize foes while his allies, who would be unaffected by his Reiatsu, use that opportunity to take them down.
Reiatsu Colors: Gold
Reiatsu Shape: Avalokiteśvara
Tenzen's Reiatsu takes the shape of a Thousand Arm Buddha, symbolizing his inner peace and balance of his soul. This shape has no facial features as its face is a black void with white specs swirling within it, like looking at clouds, what every person visualizes is different so the face of this manifestation is different from person to person almost like an inner reflection. While this form is visible Tenzen will often use his Reiatsu to render someone unconscious and when doing this the Thousand Arm Buddha will clasp two of its hands together and say "Messatsu" (Japanese for annihilation, or destruction). Once the hands come together, the targeted person or persons will fall unconscious within a matter of moments, this is also done when Tenzen attempts to quell the Reiatsu of another being, using his own as a shield to halt violent or wild Reiatsu.

Reiatsu Effect(s): Nirvana
Despite the name, there is nothing blissful or peaceful about this effect as it releases a massive shockwave in the direction of the targeted person or persons. When aimed at mere Gillian or Adjucha class Hollows the shockwave can and will take away any part of their body that is hit by it, the same goes for anyone ranking under Captain class. This is typically aimed with his hands, specifically, when his hands take the shape of the Abhaya Mudra, his right hand raised with his index finger hovering above his thumb but not touching it. Abhaya Mudra represents protection, peace and the dispelling of fear, this embodies Tenzen's desire to protect the peace of the Soul Society as a whole by vanquishing those who may cast fear upon it.
Reiatsu Type: Standard Type
The only thing that can be noted here is the fact that Tenzen's Reiatsu imparts the feeling of emptiness in those who are engulfed by it. The feeling can be related to being throwing into the vastness of space, alone, and without hope as the Earth slowly becomes another star in the void. Prolonged exposure to this can lead to violent outbursts causing a victim to run in fear or a form of submission where the victim will feel indebted to the first person they encounter that "rescues" them from their "isolation". Tenzen only uses this prolonged exposure when a target is needed alive and this is a good way to make them docile enough to take in with little effort exerted.
Zanjutsu Level: Master Swordsman
With Tenzen's Zanpakuto being dual swords in it's sealed state, a standard katana, and a wakizashi, he took extra care in honing his skills. Able to hold off most foes with his wakizashi alone he seldom needs to draw both blades, only drawing them when the opponent can't be taken lightly. Because of this two-sword style, he has built up considerable strength in each arm able to hold back an opponent's blade with one arm alone whilst they may have two hands on their blade. When his Shikai has activated the two blades consolidate into a single katana, specifically an Nodachi a style of katana that has a longer blade and hilt than the standard style. This double grip blade shows its power in the hands of Tenzen and this is his preferred stance as he can still wield the blade with one hand, once again displaying the pay off from mastering his two-sword style and can still output similar strength but when he uses two hands the strength is magnified along with the speed and grace of his strokes. Lastly, Tenzen uses a quick draw technique when cutting down lesser foes a technique that has him unsheath his wakizashi and sheath it again before one can even blink slashing with enough strength to cut towering foes in half, vertically.
Known Techniques: Onibi, Senmaioroshi, Ryodan
Hohō Level: Shunpo Expert
Shunpo is something Tenzen never tried to master, often saying "I'm fast enough to do what I need to do." when being pressed on the subject. However, this doesn't mean he is a complete novice he is fast enough to toy with opponents by constantly moving behind them or remaining in the blind spot indefinitely, depending on their skill level. When closing a gap between him and an opponent the foe can visibly see him take a single step before seeing him standing face to face with them. Not one for a head-on confrontation this is typically done as an intimidation technique or as a way to throw an opponent off balance and make them strike first, which he will often avoid and reposition himself at an angle favoring the opening his foe created on themselves. Aside from that Tenzen's speed is nothing extremely noteworthy, although do not expect to outrun him with ease.

Hakuda Level: Master Hakuda Combatant-
Only second to his mastery over Kido, Tenzen prides himself on his Hakuda skills with it often being used in conjunction with his Kido combos. By no means is Tenzen a heavy-handed person, while he isn't delicate either he isn't exactly one to just punch a hole through someone's stomach. Tenzen has his own unique way of using Hakuda, combining it with his Reiryoku he can drag his fingers in the air or make a swiping motion to literally cut his target at range, the limit being 5 meters (about 16 feet and some change). Each finger acting as a blade, the effect of this is magnified when his hand is held as a solid open palm as the swiping motion can cut targets in half. While not named a signature move of his is a knife-edge chop that he often connects with directly while sending his Reiryoku into the target, cutting them in the direction the bottom of his palm is facing. This effect extends to his legs as well as throwing multiple kicks into the air will send out condensed waves of his Reiryoku that carry that slashing effect with it. His most deadly technique is called Butsuon (Lit. Grace of Buddha) making his Reiryoku volatile he will strike opponents and cause the spots he struck to burst. The result is the foe is left with a gaping wound in their body, depending on the level of an opponent this could be a trivial injury or a fatal one. This technique truly shines when Tenzen can impale a finger into his opponent and flood their body with Volatile Reiryoku, quite literally causing them to inflate before exploding. Again, depending on the level of the opponent they can neutralize this with their own Reiryoku or regret the life choices that led them to this end.
Known Techniques: Tsukiyubi, Raioken, Sokotsu
Kido Skill Level: Kidō Master
The first thing Tenzen mastered, his standard form of attack, and the very thing he is known and fear for, Kido. Tenzen's use of Kido is a feast for the eyes, like a bird flying naturally through the sky because it comes to them naturally the same thing can be said for Tenzen. The spells he casts, from 1-99 be it Bakudo or Hado each one hits with an uncanny impact, this is without incantations. He weaves them together with such elegance is as if watching a performance take place, as he ensnares foes with Bakudo before calling down their demise in the form of Hado. Tenzen will use Kido long before he uses his Zanpakuto and with his knowledge on the subject, his foes are often long dead before he needs to use his Zanpakuto ability. With such mastery over Kido Tenzen developed a technique akin to throwing one's voice, but instead with Kido. He starts by channeling the Kido into a part of his body, into his blade or into another spell altogether. If he, his blade or the spell fired at the target makes contact the channeled spell will hide within the target, laying dormant until Tenzen activates it by pointing at them and saying the name of the spell. The spell will trigger from within the target, giving them little to no room to avoid it. While the technique has a simple name, Kido Displacement, he does have a combo with a more traditional name he calls Sōgi (Lit. Grand Funeral) where he fills his opponent to the brim with restraining and sealing Bakudo, namely Rikujokoro, Sajo Sabaku, Geki, and Kuyo Shibari all of which sprout from within the target. Once they are fully immobalized he finishes them off with a full incantation of Hado 90. If the target is considerably stronger he will swap Hado 90 for Hado 88 due to its instant cast and high level of damage which is even further amplified due to his mastery over Kido.
Known Spells: Whilst he does have mastery over all Kido spells he does have his favorites which are: Senju Koten Taiho, Kurohitsugi, and lastly, although it is forbidden he will use it if the situation becomes too dire, Jikanteishi
Skills and Abilities:
Petal Blade Series (花弁刃叢書, Hanabiraha Sōsho)
God Hand (神の手, Kami no Te)
Without Reiryoku to enhance his body, Tenzen isn't the strongest person, physically speaking, to overcome this he developed a technique that is taxing on the body and its stamina but gives him immense physical strength and speed. God Hand is only triggered when the user can dedicate 100% of their Reiryoku to physical enhancement alone without deriving it to any other aspect of their being. Once active an aura engulfs the user similar to that of their Reiryoku colors, however, this aura isn't all for show as it is also a meter of how much stamina the user has remaining along with that the aura is used in all attacks during this state. Punches and kicks have the strength to gouge out the sections of the ground with shockwave like impacts, grip strength is magnified allowing the user to crack or break most forms of metal, Zanpakuto's are exempt from this due to the durability being linked to a shinigami's connection to the inner spirit. Speed is also greatly enhanced allowing the user to match a Master Hohō practitioner.
The downside to all of this is the multiple deadly effects it has on the user, the first being that if they come into contact with any Reiryoku that is not their own, Kido, or something similar the impact of it will be magnified much more than if they were to be hit by it normally. If someone, like the Head Captain, was to bring down his Reiryoku on someone using God Hand, not only will they feel an intense burning feeling all over their body from being scorched, which is the standard sensation when coming into contact with Reiryoku, all the effects that come along with the Head Captains Reiryoku or Reiatsu will be significantly amplified. The second is the false illusion of unlimited stamina, God Hand gives the user the feeling that they can keep up their pace forever and while this is true while it is activated the user will feel the stamina drain hit them once they deactivate the power. This can result in the feeling of being winded within an instant which will take time to recover from or gasping for air as the body struggles to keep up. Lastly is to use God Hand until one's aura completely fades, the user is rendered unconscious instantly if this happens and in a fight determining life or death, the user may as well count themselves among the dead.
Honzon (本尊:, 'principal image of Buddha)
In combination with his speed and the aid of Kido Tenzen developed a rather deceptive afterimage technique that can prove more effective than the standard afterimage. Before using Shunpo he focuses his Reiryoku to form a construct of himself comprised of the same Kido based energy found in many barriers. Once completed he slips away and out of sight while the "clone" takes his place, the clone is capable of basic movements and very basic guarding techniques, enough to convince the opponent nothing is amiss. Once the clone has been injured, be it a cut on the face or hit by a cero, once it begins to break and fade away after a few moments. This technique is typically used when Tenzen needs to buy time for an incantation. Tenzen is also known to use his Kido Displacement technique to make the clone self destruct, due to its intricate nature and fragile state he is only able to displace a low-level Hado 31 within it making it more of a smokescreen or distraction rather than an attack.
Those with keen perception would be able to pick up on multiple telltale signs that Tenzen has switched place with Honzon. The first is the fact that it does not breath, it's chest does not rise and fall like that of a living being but instead remains still and idle. Next, the clone emits no Reiryoku or Reiatsu other than what is sensed from the kido that makes up its form. The clone never parts its mouth, Tenzen isn't particularly chatty in battle but it isn't uncommon for any warrior to take a deep breath through their mouth to fill their lungs with air and this clone never makes an effort to do this. Honzon also does not last forever, at its core it is still a form of afterimage and as such it will begin to crumble and break away on its own if it isn't injured by then. The final sign comes when the clone is struck and the fact that it doesn't bleed. It doesn't fade away instantly when struck so it can serve as a distraction a little longer before crumbling away and revealing Tenzen's ruse. Tenzen will only use this technique once in battle as it cannot fool anyone twice.

Hado #?: Ichiji-teki Maisō (一時的埋葬, Temporary Burial)
Tenzen understands that he may not carry his Zanpakuto at all times, that he may not have time to get his Zanpakuto if an emergency were to happen and Kido is not always a proper counter to close-ranged assaults. So, Tenzen developed a Kido as an answer for all these conditions in the form of a massive blade that is typically the hight as the caster. When initially cast the blade will fall from the sky similar to Bakudo 75 Gochūtekkan but instead with killing intent. Once the blade strikes its target or the ground it will raise itself up and fly behind its caster where it will remain until broken or dispelled. The caster can use the blade however they wish, directing it with their hands, using the cloth to throw or spin it or grabbing it by the hilt and using it as a proper blade, as properly as one can use a man-sized blade.
Its durability depends on the caster and it is no-where near as durable as a Zanpakuto, while it can clash with one for some time it will eventually break. Once broken the caster can call forth another at the cost of more Reiryoku, this new blade, however, will be weaker than the last in terms of control and durability. Controlling it in its levitated state upon the second casting will show a bit of "lag input" with the blade not responding right away. The cloth will tear and rip if overused during the second casting leaving the third option the most viable one although the durability has decreased as well. Casting three or more times will summon a blade that will shatter instantly upon contact with another attack.
To prevent this spell from being used in the potential murder of a fellow Shinigami Tenzen designed it to remain active if it delivers a killing blow. The blade grows dull and is no more useful than decoration, however, it can be provided as evidence if used in a murder. The first clue being the Kanji of the Division appearing on the flat side of the blade based on the caster, this is done to narrow down the Division of the suspect, on the other side a personal motif appears as well to further narrow the search. These details appear the moment the spell is cast and to most, it seems more like a nice personalization adding the division number and personal motif but for Tenzen it is a way to make sure no one uses it for ill intent.
Incantation: N/A
Hado #?: Yaezakura Taihō (八重桜大砲, 'Double-flowered Cherry Tree Cannon)
This is Tenzen's attempt at replicating Hado 73: Sōren Sōkatsui ,which is an advanced version of Hado 33 Sōkatsui with twice the effectiveness but instead of using Hado 33 he opted to use Hado 88 Hiryū Gekizoku Shinten Raihō. On its own Hado 88 is a destructive force to make it twice as effective seems unnecessary but with so many different spiritual beings popping up with different and unique abilities the basic Hado 88 may not be enough. This is a spell that requires the incantation no matter what, without it, the spell simply will not cast. That said when fired the caster must use both hands, their hands must be unoccupied meaning they cannot be holding any sort of object in their hand. This is a spell reserved for captain class Shinigami who are more than adept with Kido and have the Reiryoku to compensate for the spell. How the Shinigami holds their hands is entirely up to them, Tenzen personally holds his hands in the Vitarka Mudra position with the thumb touching the index finger while the remaining fingers remain extended yet relaxed. The right hand is held up vertically while the left hand, fingers positioned the same way, is held under it horizontally with the palm facing up. At the center of this hand formation the spell is fired, but as it was mentioned the way the hands are held depends on the user entirely.
Incantation: Fires rage, waxing the land. Winds churn, suffocating the air. Lightning strikes, splintering all. Earth shakes, breaking the balance. Water rises, eroding monuments. Embrace the wrath of the Mother in all her glory. Embrace the glory of the Mother in all her Wrath.
Zanpakuto Name: Kokūzō (空, 'space', 蔵, 'repository')
Zanpakuto Appearance:
Kokūzō, sealed, is a standard length Katana and a Wakizashi with the handguard being in the shape of a circle, the design on it is a spiral. The grip on the hilt is black and white. The scabbards are rather plain being a standard black color with no other defining features to them and the blades are worn on his left-hand side.

The scabbards are rather plain being a standard black color with no other defining features to them and the blades are worn on his left-hand side.
Zanpakuto Spirit:
Kokūzō has the form of a Thousand Armed Buddha, it towers above Tenzen standing at roughly 10 feet tall with a golden glow around its body. Its eyes are pure white and glow as if some sort of energy radiates within them. It has a slender figure which can be described as almost robotic. It also tends to maintain a rather smug expression on its face and speaks in a mocking tone towards Tenzen at all times. When Tenzen does speak to it, it will often try to make him act on violent tendencies despite knowing Tenzen has no desire to do anything close to that. It is a condescending spirit, people Tenzen hold in high regard such as the Captains it will belittle and mock. It will say vulgar things about the people Tenzen has spoken to or interacted with almost like the little negative voice in the back of Tenzen's head that he had long since abandoned only to be picked up by his Zanpakuto. It does this mostly to give itself a good laugh and to get a rise out of Tenzen.
Inner World:
The inner world reflects Tenzen's being much better than his Zanpakuto spirit, the sky is boundless with a mixture of white, grey and black tones that reaches all the way to the horizon with an ever still water for the ground, though the spirit often floats above it as if not to disturb it. Tenzen himself is able to stand on the water as if it is solid ground while at the same time not causing a single ripple to form no matter how much he moves.
Release Phrase: Open sky falls mute and the empty sky screams, closed void stands to speak and the full void is silent.
Shikai:
The Shikai transforms his katana into a nodachi that maintains the same characteristics as Kokūzō's sealed form. Golden mist-like energy flows from the blade constantly, always vanishing before touching the ground along with the wakazashi transforming into a thick golden chain that wraps around his left arm and connects to the nodachi.
Shikai Special Ability:
Kokūzō's special ability in Shikai is simple, the erasure of matter through the use of a golden mist that flows from the blade. While in Shikai it can erase Inanimate objects instantly. Armor, that isn't Zanpakuto related, can be swiped away instantly along with rocks, boulders, etc. This also extends to Reiryoku as well, if one's Reiryoku is wild and not controlled Kokūzō can erase it from existence, while it can't do this all at once it can battle back against it by slowly chipping away at it bit by bit. Tenzen usually has no need to do this so he will often form the mist into a bubble around himself to shield himself from any adverse effects from the Reiryoku or Reiatsu targeting him.
Tenzen controls the mist by altering its shape depending on what is needed, a bubble for defense, condensing it and firing it from the tip of his blade like a beam, slashing and sending out a crescent wave of golden energy, or letting it flow out from the blade like a fog. Tenzen can also condense the mist around his blade to form a scythe fooling others to believe he has triggered his Bankai.
False Bankai Appearance:
The erasure also acts like a virus, once it begins to erase something it won't stop until its target is gone. That said, whatever is erased by Kokūzō can never return, similar to the saying "if it's not broken, don't fix it" but instead it is "If it doesn't exist, you can't fix it".
Bankai: Kokūzō Chakravartin (空蔵 転輪王; 空蔵, 'space repositor', 転輪王, 'whose wheels are moving [in the sense of "whose chariot is rolling everywhere without obstruction"])
His Bankai has two phases, the first has Tenzen keeping his Nodachi while adding Buddhist prayer beads wrapped around his left arm along with a Buri Nazar, a pattern typically used in Hinduism that is shown in the shape of a palm with an eye in the center of the palm, appearing on the center of his own palm. It also adds a large circular halo at his back with each of the 7 chakras placed within the halo itself.
Bankai Special Ability:
There are ways to cancel out Kokūzō's effects such as focusing one's Reiryoku and Reiatsu, by doing this the targets physical body will remain immune to its effects. Another way is to touch the blade which will reverse the effects of any erasure that took place, provided Tenzen hasn't deactivated his Shikai because once deactivated even if the target touches the blade at a later date the erasure will remain. Attacks such as high-level Kido, 60 and above, Gran-Rey Cero, or rare Quincy techniques can blow past the erasing effect with no problems. Lastly, when Kokūzō comes into contact with another Zanpakuto the golden mist is instantly blown away, the opposing Zanpakuto acting as a barrier of sorts. It is also confirmed that Kokūzō has no desire to erase one of his own kind, i.e. another Zanpakuto this includes Arrancar Zanpakuto as well.
The first phase is known as Bussou (物騒, 'Buddhist Funeral') and it deals with the prayer beads on Tenzen's left arm. From the time he activates his Bankai he begins counting the beads subconsciously with his left hand all 108 of them and once they are all counted he can then erase any organic being with just a touch, this requires him to close the gap between himself and his opponent to trigger the ability. This ability takes three posts to "wind up" The first post being when he enters Bankai, then so on and so forth from there followed by a two post "cooldown" after using it before the wind-up can start again.
The second phase is known as Shichishoku (しちしょく, 'The Seven Prismatic Colors') and it deals with the halo and seven chakras within it. Tenzen will name off one of the Seven Chakras starting from the Root Chakra and will ultimately end with the Crown Chakra. Each one named off enhances the strength of his erasing power By the time he gets to the fourth Chakra, the Heart Chakra, Immense Spiritual Power and below can no longer resist its effects. From there the last three are chanted in order to allow Tenzen the ability to launch a large wave of erasing energy that will erase all in its path, from here Vast Spiritual Power can no longer nullify it but can resist it, know that resisting it still means taking some damage from it meaning that small parts of the targets body have been erased from hair to random parts of their body. After launching the wave of energy drains Tenzen of his Reiryoku and knocks him out of his Bankai once it is cast making it a do or die technique.
Inner Hollow:
Violent, loud, battle hungry and essentially the antithesis to Tenzen himself. All the traits brought on by his Oda blood that he worked centuries to suppress have now been taken on by this Hollow who flaunts them arrogantly. He is a being who craves combat against any and all who challenge him or, by extension, Tenzen. His current position has him in a state of never-ending battles against the memories of Tenzen many victims from Hollows of every class, unfortunate Quincy, and even Shinigami. He constantly urges Tenzen to act on his violent tendencies, show off his superior strength to those who stand up to him and most of all stop hiding who he really is. It is undeniable that he and Tenzen like to fight it is part of who they are and eventually, sooner or later, he'll give Tenzen the push he needs to accept himself in his entirety. If he doesn't, then this Hollow just might take the reigns and hurdle himself into a world of battle without the awkward and reserved Tenzen getting in his way.
Hollow Mask:
As he gathers Reiryoku into his palms Tenzen clasps his hands together in front of his face as if he were to begin a prayer. He slowly, or quickly, separates his hands with the mask coating his face.
Cero:
Tenzen's Cero is gold in color, a bright brilliant color that can never be mistaken for a shade of yellow or orange. Tenzen fires the spell in one of two ways, the first is from the tip of his middle finger and the second is by charging it along the length of his blade. When charged along the blade it can be launched out in the shape of a crescent moon, a full 360-degree circle, or if he has locked blades with a foe the Cero will fire off point-blank from the blade. With Cero having a similar nature to Kido it should be no surprise that Tenzen can manipulate the way it is fired.
Hollow Augmentations:
Speed and strength are the two major improvements made when Tenzen dons his mask as these are the two areas of himself he suffers in the most. Blinding speed and crushing strength would be more than enough for anyone who holds this power but there is one final augment that is given to Tenzen and that is to his already powerful Kido. His lowest level Kido jumps tremendously in power being equal to his strongest spell when in base form.
Personal Relationships: Far too socially awkward to make any on his own.
Likes: Despite his demeanor he enjoys loud music. Purple is his favorite color. He won't openly admit it but he thinks some Hollows look rather "cool".
Dislikes: Crustaceans, he's allergic to them. Footwear, including socks. People invading his personal space unnecessarily. People who speak with a country accent.
Notable Features: A scar stretching from his upper right shoulder and fading out near the left of his abdominal region. He is almost always barefoot unless the occasion calls for him to wear any sort of footwear.
Hobbies: He has his own garden that he tends to with a vast array of different flowers, Tiger striped Roses are his favorite.
Favorite Food(s): Spicy, BBQ, Boiled and steamed foods
Seireitei Communication Column: He has written many rough drafts talking about how to achieve inner peace and the benefits of a clear mind but he assumes no one wants to read something like that and will throw them away before even trying to submit them.
