Notable Features: His long soft silky silver hair would go unnoticed as he combs it daily, he uses natural oils to condition and shampoo his hair allowing its flow to have bounce, each strand of hair would be strengthened and his scalp free of dandruff and no split ends.

Personality: He can be slightly comical at times but most of the times he's quiet and keeps to himself, he is rather the observant type and prefers to watch and learn. Ashura is the type of person who learns by watching and trying out things for himself, no need for too much explanation as he learns pretty fast. He is fairly kind to mostly everyone that shows him respect, however to those who don’t have any sort of respect built between them shall be given the cold shoulder. His facial expressions are nearly the same in almost every situation except for when he is truly laughing, angry, or trying to change them himself; so to those just meeting him would either think he is just plain heartless or a lost puppy. Ashura naturally shows respect to those he doesn’t know until a bad impression of them is brought forth, although depending on the situation Ashura will not judge.

Reiryoku Level:

Great Spritual Power- Even before joining the gotei 13 Ashura always contained an abnormally high amount of spiritual power. His peers were jealous as they could feel the pressure coming from Ashura, however none would speak up nor pick a fight as they fear grasp their attention when being around the boy. As he got older he learned how to condense his power making it easier for others to be around him; his Reiryoku pool increased as the time passed he managed to obtained the power that could even rival a captain, most of his squad respected him for it some being jealous but they all respected Ashura and acknowledged him as the strongest member of the 7th division.

Sensing Reiryoku:

Expert-Expert- At his time at the academy Ashura and his peers were all taught on how to sense reiryoku, as the young man progressed in his career he'd continued his training to sense reiryoku. Mostly doing his sensing training underwater due to it providing a quiet space helping him enter a void for the young man to focus, Ashura continued to focus on everyone in his division, keeping track of how far they were or had traveled involuntarily, he even tracked how fast they were moving. Ashura managed to learn how to pinpoint the person he was searching for among a crowd of people, as the young man's skills developed over the years Ashura's spiritual vision had gotten better overtime being able to sense multiple reiryoku signatures over great distances as if they were in plain sight.

Reiryoku Control:

Great Control- After learning the basics of Reiryoku control at the academy, he managed to excel at controlling his reiryoku via meditation, pushing it up to its max and lowering it to as low as it can possibly go. After joining the gotei 13 he was already above average at controlling his spirit energy putting him above the standards of lower seated officers and overtime with training with others he had to learn restraint as he sparred and did some intense training with other members from his division that were not able handle such strength and prowess.

Reiatsu:

Expert- His control over his reiatsu was mandatory as it is fire based, learning how to exert his reiatsu at will being capable of completely stopping it from releasing sealing his presence away. Ashura knew many ways to use his reiatsu, he could make one seems as if they where on fire with his Phantom Pain effect basically giving them glimpse of what might happen if he was to unleash his power. His burning aura appears as a white fire that can burn whoever comes into contact with it, these flames actually make up the presence of the young man's reiatsu and can expand which his burning Reiatsu is used to heat up his sealed Zanpakutō, causing it to glow white like a celestial sword. He has also displayed a large amount of flames emanating from his body before releasing his Shikai, which is needed for his fire zanpakuto techniques.

Zanjutsu Level:

Expert Swordsman- As one of his training Ashura learned a unique unorthodox style of sword fighting, holding his sword in reverse attacking with quick slashes mixed with punches and kicks. His unique fighting style had no name as Asura didn't wish to name it, however in his days at the academy he was taught an entirely different style; kenjutsu came at to him as fast as any other who would take pride in his training. When training with others due to his past experience using Asura's style, Kenjutsu would only add to the young man's arsenal once he became a shinigami. Ashura quickly became accustomed to mixing his masters sword strike with Kenjutsu techniques including Hakuda, although the explanation of his offense isn't all that during his training with his master they practiced parrying and deflecting making those the core parts of his zanjutsu training. With having two different styles the young man was capable of making unpredictable attacks and even being able recognize others' attack pattern and think of a sly way to get around them.

Known Techniques:

Dainidankai (第二段階, "Second Step"): The move consists of two stages. First, the swordsman performs a strong strike which ideally forces the enemy's weapon to the side with recoil. Then, one follows up promptly with an upward kick to the enemy's chin. Such a manoeuvre can unbalance the opponent, and create an opportunity to deal the decisive blow in the immediate aftermath.

Sokuji Ōtō (即時応答, "Immediate Response"): The practitioner evades the enemy's attack, possibly with the use of a Hohō technique, then strikes back right afterward in one fluent motion. Swift enough users can catch the opponent off-guard.

Yoshin (余震, "Aftershock"): Whenever a sword strike disrupts the enemy's defence, or forces them to withdraw, the swordsman can quickly cast a Hadō spell to exploit this brief window of opportunity and intercept them.

Hohō Level:

Shunpo Master-

Ever since a young man Ashura had been blessed with the gift of being able to run fast, it was only natural that he picked up on shunpo. In days when he and friends were only kids, they always played tag or just run freely in the forest and neighborhood even at night and would pretend to be ninja’s at times; and Ashura always manage to out run them and his stamina allowed to keep pushing he had the lungs of a steed. However whenever running or just moving fast Ashura was happy; so once after graduating, the young Ashura immediately began to study shunpo.

In his time as a shinigami speed was his thing so it was only natural that he picked up on hoho techniques as quickly as he did. He was quickly trained on how to use shunpo and other Hoho techniques and began making use of it in his free time and within his training. Of all his training Hoho techniques were Ashura’s main focus, Over time he managed to master Shunpo and other Hoho techniques such as speed clones and utsusemi after intensely training and exercising under weighted conditions and in combat. Most of his training if possible included shunpo whether it was Hakuda, Zanjutsu, or Kido he never failed to use the technique. Over 50 years Ashura, trained to hone his shunpo and learned various ways to use the technique including the secret techniques, the young man became a master of Shunpo; moving at such speeds most would see him as an after image for a few seconds before they'd even realize that he was gone.

Hakuda Level:

Expert Hakuda Combatant-

Before joining the academy Ashura’s adoptive father Asura used to train him in combat, especially Hakuda, he taught him all sorts of Hakuda techniques. Asura was amazing in hand to hand combat getting into bar fights crazy enough that sometimes Ashura would have to step in and help when his appearance resembled that of a 12 year old boy. They’d also have intense sparring lessons, and endurance challenging runs and then spars one right after the other. Ashura struggled at first but it all had become natural as he’d begin to have fun with his training, it became a way of life for him. Ashura and Asura had gotten to the point where they could spar for hours non stop, after breathing training, and pace training.

After joining the gotei 13 Ashura managed to train with even more hakuda techniques learning some techniques from the veteran members of his division, adding them on to what he had already learned now having learned Kickboxing and Kenpo from his master; and Aikido plus jujitsu with the exception of some Judo Ashura was a formidable foe when it comes down to hand to hand combat.


Known Techniques:

Tesshō (鉄掌, Iron Palm) is an open palm strike attack, which can effortlessly shatter a Hollow's head with a single strike when used by a powerful enough user.

Sandbag Beat (サンドバッグ・ビート, Sandobaggu Bīto) is a technique where the user performs multiple extremely fast punches, causing aggravated damage to a target. The stronger the practioner is, the more damage this technique will cause

Tsukiyubi (撞指, Thrust Fingers) is a Hakuda technique where the user extends one or more of his fingers while they are in contact with an opponent, resulting in him being sent flying away.

Ikkotsu (一骨, Single Bone) is a powerful punch, able to destroy much of an enemy's abdomen and send him flying along a city street and into a building, destroying it. The difference between this and a normal punch is that the user focuses so much strength on his fist that he'll be able to break through the opponent's bones for sure.

Kido Skill Level:

Kidō Specialist- During Ashura’s time at the academy the young man manage to excel at kido after a few months once grasping the understanding of it, he’d practice a spell over and over learning the incantations and some of them he didn’t even need to for after a while proven his knack for learning his teachers were impressed. Ashura buried his face in Kido books while he was at the academy as it was the main thing he was unfamiliar with he had to work hard at this in order to catch up with the others eventually surpassing them. As he joined the gotei 13 he was given more time to hone the spells he already knew and even added a few more to his arsenal of spells and capable of using lower ranked kido without an incantation.

Skills and Abilities:

Master of imitation: By studying the arts of other Ashura quickly learns new techniques just by closely watching every movement, calculating the angles and even the finesse. By having a photographic memory the young man can remember mostly everything someone has done making it easy for him to mimic the technique and perform it so long as his eyes can keep up with the movements, however the technique he may copy would allow him to use it but not to its full capability as he’d have to practice the technique and master just like any other.

During his time with his father he managed to learn some advanced combat techniques and show off with a bit of finesse, but the main thing Asura taught him was how to imitate making Ashura mimic his every movement was the very first thing they worked on in the morning before doing anything including bathing routines. Imitating training sessions were done at least 5 times a day for only combat, that is, Asura made the boy imitate the way others walk, talk, eat, drink, write, even down to the way they move their face and eyes.

Human Calculator: Ashura is extremely intelligent when it comes to math, as he brings his mathematical intelligence to the battlefield with him. Math comes to him as if he was born with a calculator inside of his brain, the young man took a liking to the subject at a young age studying all forms of math the young man could solve problems without even working them out nearly instantaneously getting the answer by just merely looking. The young man can estimate the distance it would take to travel and even the time of arrival, he can even make out different angles all by just only observing what’s in front of him. He could even observe the speed that something or someone is traveling by looking or even hearing; there is no trivial mathematical question that can keep him from knowing the answer.

Master Strategist: By being patient Ashura takes the time to observe every situation cautiously before making a move thus giving him the perfect counter solution. Carefully analyzing the movements or plans/tactics of said target he can nearly figure out a weakness or even create one if need be, given his time as shinigami the young man managed to toy around with most opponents as he likes to bob and weave while watching his opponents attack pattern even the slightest change in the pattern won’t go unnoticed to his eyes.

Heightened Listening - During Ashura's breathing training with Asura, the man would take Ashura to a river and have him sit underwater and meditate with a stone in his lap and to remain calm, there the young man managed to hone his listening skills as well. When spending his time underwater Asura made the young man listen out for specific sounds and day after day the young man managed to hear those sound and every time exited the water the world had grown louder to him, however he’d learn how to mentally tune those noises out by not focusing but given his love for nature he’d sit in a tree and listen out for all kinds of animal noises. Once out of the water the young man would find it harder to breath every time he managed to stay in the water longer, while fatigued Asura made Ashura exhale and inhale deeply gathering his breath and then they would jog for a mile. As they ran Ashura could hear many different sounds coming from nature animals who were far off, the jogs taught him to maintain his sense of hearing even when exhausted.

Equipment: Cellular Device, Gigai, Tanto, Spider Hollow Cloth - This cloth is made from a strong spider hollows silky webbing, being extremely durable and resistant. Ashura uses this cloth to wrap around his right wrist and the hilt of his zanpakuto,h e obtained said cloth from his father who obtained it from a merchant that travels throughout the soul society.

Zanpakuto Spirit: Hono, pretends to be sleeping often but he’s very caring for his master as he knows their life is tied together, however he refuses to be known as a weakling amongst his fellow zanpakuto so he occasionally will accept an offering of blood from his master in order to use his true power, shikai or bankai. Hono forces his user through hardships by not responding at times when he can sense his enemy is lesser and capable of being defeated without his help. Often being comical when he speaks he can be either annoying or funny as he acts like a big brother who’s care free whenever they are working together in a non stressful situation, however when the time calls the old giant becomes rather focused and serious like a veteran knight who’s leading a battle against a rival country.

Inner World: A giant forest covered in blue flames aside from a giant tree which is 50 stories tall, with a diameter of 30ft, and has a giant hole from end to end; the diameter of the hole itself is 10ft. From inside the tree the bottom half of the tree is filled with nothing but blood, this is where Ashura and Seikestu Hono would reside to train.

Shikai Special Ability: The passive ability of the shikai allows the user to spew flames at will, these flames appear blue and they are also controlled through focus, if swung with the intent harming it will burn whatever the user is intent on harming. These Blue flames can be attached to spirit energy allowing the user to project a fire slash, heal others, and even become a shield/barrier by adding desinsty via spirit energy and burns whatever touches it making it even capable of blocking kido or ceros.


Shiroi Hono: The user is capable of producing unique White flames, these white flames exist by burning reiatsu as their fuel. As such, any source of reiatsu is susceptible to being ignited and engulfed in these flames, which causes the resulting fire to emit a white coloration. It is impossible to douse these flames with kido nor other associated abilities as the Reiryoku composing them will merely add fuel to the flames and cause them to grow even more intense. If these flames are to catch onto any living being, they will continue to burn until either the flesh of the body has been reduced to ashes or the Reiryoku within them has been entirely burnt out.

Bankai: Seikatsu Honō Kazenbo

Bankai Special Ability: Seikatsu Hono Kazenbo’s bankai special ability grants Ashura the ability to manipulate his flames allowing him to robe himself in fire This also allows him to alter the shape of the flames that which surrounds him at will instantly, being able to shape shift the flames around his body into a dragon, a sword, etc. This bankai even has allows the user to detach or project parts of his flame coat and regenerate the lost fire at will all while still being in control of those detachable flames. The user can transform the flame surrounding his body by applying reiatsu to the flames at will, the user can move faster himself, by combining this technique with Shunpo the user can move like a snake as he travels through the air enhancing his agility.

Biography: This young man grouped up within the Rukon district, he always displayed that he was a caring soul as he played amongst his friends, even the adults took a liking to him as he helped them with trivial or physical tasks resulting in payment which he used to feed all his friends including himself. As he grew up he began growing distant from his friends not purposely, but his adoptive father Asura took a liking to him given they had the same hair and eye color so he named the boy Ashura. Many people believed that Asura was Ashura’s biological father but it wasn’t true the man truly just wanted a son and Ashura was the perfect kid so he adopted him. The man wore rugged clothes, his sandals almost falling apart, his red haori which was torn to stop by his waist, his pants ripped from the knee and down making them shorts, he was a site for sore eyes only. But the man wasn’t actually broke; in fact he hid his earnings and didn’t allow anyone to notice. Throughout the years that Asura was raising Ashura before shipping him off to the academy, he trained him to fight hand to hand properly but as for Kenjutsu it was significantly different from the style the Gotei 13 taught. He carried two kendo sticks with him at all times one slightly smaller than the other, however he held it backwards and showed a pattern of attacks to Ashura as he swung horizontally to his left with the kendo stick being gripped tightly in his right hand, he’d follow up with a spinning head kick with his left foot, and another slash which was performed the same exact way. Over time Asura taught the young man many combat techniques such as swapping hand attacks and kick combos but not once did he teach him the proper way but the style was effective, as it was proven in combat in bar fights within the rukon district.

As Ashura trained with Asura he learned pretty fast how to fight in a very effective unbalanced manner, however he the unorthodox fighting style was good for learning how to improvise and use other weapons in a flashy and effective way allowing one to become the master of unorthodox fighting. A few years went by and Asura sent Ashura to the academy where he quickly excelled as he loved trivial task most things came natural when it came down to physical stuff and book stuff, although Kido took a bit it wasn’t to difficult as he learned to control most spell quickly it was the incantation which got him off guard but after some time he managed to excel at all subject and activities. His peers were jealous but he ignored the negative attention and continued to work hard and study day in and day out not just to be the best, it was fun to him learning these things so he continued his studies longer than any other student at the academy all by himself. One day a young woman by the name of Xionna who was around the same age as Ashura, had red hair which she wore in a ponytail and blue eyes her skin pale but flushed red as they made eye contact he knew she was the one, after that day they managed to train hard together pushing each other to new limits, however he graduated the academy only a few months leaving her behind. During his time at the academy Asura had fallen ill to a deadly sickness and passed on. And in his name Ashura wore his haori around his waist ever since and refused to remove it no matter who asked him.

Notable Features: A single scar under his left eye that came from a sparring session with his father.

Personality: At first glance Ochisuki comes off as a meek, well behaved, and quiet boy a trait that earned him good marks among his instructors at the Shino Academy. Sadly only one of those three traits ring true and that one trait is his silence. For years students and instructors alike thought the boy was mute until he finally spoke during a bit of hazing from his fellow academy peers wanting to know more about his clan. The question was something along the lines of who the leader of his clan was and in the most monotone and robotic voice he said "Tenzen". The delivery of his words sent chills down the spines of his peers as his words were cold, empty, and without feeling, this is why the meek and well-behaved traits do not apply to him. His tone of voice is a direct reflection of the type of person he is, he is uncaring to those around him and often isolates himself from groups out of sheer disdain for other people. He isn't exactly a trouble maker but he has strange... Habits. Any sort of insect he can get his hands on will find itself being plucked apart by his slender fingers. Wings and legs are stripped from the creature after this he will watch the body wither and squirm before stomping on it.

When he was born he did not cry, he made eye contact with the midwives that helped with his delivery, his father then finally his mother before going to sleep in her arms. This eerie birth has contributed to his eerie nature as he will sit in utter silence watching those around himself. If those he watched only knew what he was picturing they would understand why he would occasionally smirk to himself. He tries to picture those caught in his gaze as corpses on a battlefield, based on their personality he wonders how they will die. Most people are pictured face down in the mud, some kneeling on the ground eyes still open and on a very rare occasion, he will picture the person dying on their feet. A person will have to have made a strong impression on the boy for him to picture them in this heroic "death pose".

Making an impression on him goes hand in hand with trying to communicate with the boy. He mostly responds with a head nod, pointing, shoulder shrugs, and amateur level sign language. Getting him to speak is a herculean task within itself unless he takes a liking to that particular person where he will begin responding with a few words at a time. When he catches sight of someone he considers to be a friend he will approach them with an innocent smile on his face and greet them by their first name, he tends to forget his manners.

Lastly, Ochitsuki is a boy seemingly without emotion or fear. While he can approach someone with an innocent smile it seems to be done out of proper social etiquette rather than genuine happiness. The only way this boy will ever truly smile or laugh is when watching someone else come to harm, harming someone himself, or being harmed. Hitting, cutting, burning, any form of injury inflicted on him will only result in an outburst of laughter. Like all Oda, he lives for battle, and although he can't explain it or put it into words he gets an elevated sense of joy when engaged in a fight. Then there is his complete and utter lack of fear which he himself can't even explain. Threatening him, threatening someone he knows, or even threatening a family member he does not flinch. Pressing a blade to his throat won't even make him whimper as if he has some sort of higher understanding of how the situation will play out but in truth, he just lacks fear. It is as if the concept of fear was stripped from his being when he was born, which could explain why he didn't cry when he came into the world.

Reiryoku Level: Great Spiritual Power
The Oda bloodline reaches back for centuries with the appearance of the "First Oda" being around the time of the Thousand Year Blood War against the Quincy. Since then the bloodline has remained pure giving rise to strong and able Shinigami with every generation. Even though he is the youngest he carries this warrior blood and by proxy, he was gifted with a wealth of Reiryoku upon his birth. Since then he has trained with his family and in the Academy allowing his Reiryoku to build and grow along with him. Since he has found a home within the Second Division his Reiryoku growth has halted, though not by choice it seems as if he has hit his limit and it may take a century or two for him to overcome this "wall" he has hit. Despite that, the boy has quite a high level of Reiryoku for his age and it is thanks to this wealth of Reiryoku that he has garnered such masterful control over his Zanpakuto's abilities. This trait also lends itself to his combat ability as he can seemingly fight and pursue a target without showing signs of fatigue. Then there is the pain threshold that allows him to tolerate a variety of injuries and continue fighting as if nothing were wrong which only lends itself to his creepy factor.



Sensing Reiryoku: Basic
Despite how much he eerily watches others his ability to sense them out is fairly average. His spiritual sense is nothing too noteworthy as he can tell the difference between Shinigami, Quincy, Hollow, and Fullbringer. From there he can track them down so long as their signature is still apparent, however, if they were to suppress themselves he would lose track of them for good. His average Spiritual sense is suppressed due to the much more honed physical senses that tend to help him more in confrontations than his spiritual senses.



Reiryoku Control: Great Control
Being raised in a house of warriors such things as rationing and conserving were literally beaten into him. It should be no surprise then that Ochitsuki has outstanding control over his Reiryoku output. While he can't fully "muffle" his Reiryoku he has enough control over it as to not waste a single ounce of it in battle. This control is why he can seemingly fight or pursue a target without end as every bit is put to use in one way or another to benefit him in whatever situation he finds himself in.

While Ochitsuki would rather kill than subjugate there are times where he must perform the latter. Such times call upon methods where physical contact can not be made or perhaps even over a large group and those are times where his Reiatsu comes into play. Rukongai citizens or lower seated Shinigami will find themselves at his mercy when feeling his Reiatsu, there very beings being penetrated by constant anxiety. Feeling his Reiatsu brings about the sensation that his lifeless eyes are upon his target even while his back is turned. The eyes are the windows to the soul and feeling these "eyes" one could only anticipate having their limbs torn away from them like they are one of the many insects that Ochitsuki tortures on a daily basis. That alone can tell the tale of his Reiatsu, the fact that those who have been suppressed feel as if they have become insects.

In the house of Oda, the one skill in the tree of Zankensoki (「斬」「拳」「走」「鬼」, Cut-Fist-Run-Spirit) that is drilled into its members the most is Zanjutsu. From a young age, he was trained to wield a weapon, from Katana to clubs he was trained to wield all manner of weapons at a basic level so that when he acquired his Zanpakuto he can wield it effectively no matter what shape it took. The art form that is Zanjutsu did not stop there for him as he ranked quite high among his classmates in sparring sessions with a weapon. He developed a style he felt comfortable with which revolves around quick movements whilst keeping his body low to the ground. Instructors at the Academy playfully dubbed this "Scuttering Style" due to the way he appears to quickly scutter, dash, and slide around his foes like a roach. Such a style forces his opponent to drop their center of gravity to strike him which grants him an opening to strike them with his own blade or trip them up so that they fall on his blade all on their own. The Asauchi he was gifted was in the shape of a Wakizashi, not being a full-length Katana lent itself well to his "Scuttering Style" as he tends to hold the blade upside down when it is in use.

Hohō Level: Shunpo Expert
Shunpo is something Ochitsuki took to at an early age and is something that came about through constant training sessions with his father. While he lacks fear he does not lack self-preservation in the slightest and possesses enough sense to move out of the way of danger. His Shunpo is something that could be described as quick, a sudden burst of speed that seems to come off as eerie and unnatural but it cannot be continued for long. That alone wouldn't be enough to categorize his Hohō as Expert level, no, what accelerated him to this level was the sheer silence of his step. It is said that the brain produces a ringing noise in the ears to make sense of the silence around a person. If this is true then the slightest bit of sound should bring an immediate halt to the ringing, right? Well, imagine if that ringing is what drowns out the sound of Ochitsuki's step then you will have reached an understanding of his Hohō.




Hakuda Level: Hakuda Combatant
In the house of Oda, the second skill in the tree of Zankensoki that is drilled into its members is Hakuda. As Oda grow they learn a different set of Hakuda skills that will help them survive depending on their age. By the time they reach adulthood they will have amassed a good collection of martial arts techniques to use, however, when they are young they are taught more "underhanded" techniques to help them survive on the battlefield. Strikes to the groin, eye-gouging, biting, pulling shirts over the head, grasping at long hair or loose clothing, these are the things taught to them to help them survive against physically stronger opponents. This boy is no exception to that as he was eventually barred from Hakuda sparring in the Academy due to these underhanded techniques. He picked up enough Hakuda knowledge to allow him to graduate, however, he still falls back on these crude tactics as he was taught, first and foremost, to survive and if a groin shot to his opponent will ensure this survival then so be it.

Kido Skill Level: Kidō Practitioner
With his eldest cousin being the Kido Corps Commander he took it upon himself to strengthen his use in Kido to no avail. While not wholly untalented in the area it is just not something that clicks naturally with him as it does with his cousin. That said he has a small collection of spells he is able to cast, though they tend to be severely reduced in strength thanks to him not wanting to recite the incarnation out of sheer stubbornness. He tends to use these spells to distract and bluff his opponents rather than damaging them.

Gokan Kakusei (五感覚醒, 5 Senses awakening):
What he lacks in Reiryoku Sense he makes up for with his physical senses. To be precise what he has achieved here is a culmination of instinctive senses that were personally honed thanks to his father. To feel, or smell killing intent in complete darkness, to have his body react to unseen danger and to taste the breath of his opponent on the air are all abnormal traits that come along with this skill of his. His body will move and react on a subconscious level allowing him to perform moves that have no history or reference and sometimes even allowing him to craft a new fighting maneuver on the spot. This combined with his somewhat animalistic "Scuttering Style" makes his opponents feel as if they are fighting an animal or beast rather than a man.

Inner World: It is a world of endless night, an ever-present full moon whose light is occasionally blocked by passing clouds. The world itself is a maze of buildings designed after the barracks found in the Seireitei which are shrouded in a light fog. These maze of buildings do not seem to have a beginning or end as the moment Ochitsuki arrives he is placed in the middle of the maze where he must find and strike his spirit before he can begin any sort of training with it.

Shikai: The blade of his Wakizashi turns black almost resembling charred plastic that has a sandpaper-like sensation to it when touched.

Shikai Special Ability: The blade of Saryū transforms into densely compacted grains of sand that can be freely controlled by Ochitsuki. This means the blade can suddenly increase its length, form a serrated edge, reshape into an ax head, or even a crude whip. The sand can also flow free from the hilt of the blade where it can form a wall in front of Ochitsuki or a bubble around him. It can also be used in an offensive manner compacting itself to form needles to impale foes or even surround his foe and tear them to shreds like a sand twister. The limitation on what this Zanpakuto can do is only limited to Ochitsuki's imagination.

However, the true terror of this Zanpakuto is not it's reshaping through the use of black sand grains. The true horror is the fact that these grains of sand consume whatever it is they land upon. Buildings, nature, liquids, Kido, and people alike are slowly consumed by the grains of sand left behind on their bodies. A gash made by Saryū can be closed and healed only to be opened once again from the festering grains of sand within. The effects of this ability aren't made apparent right away as the target will suffer from continued blood loss along with a wound that seems to grow wider and deeper as the battle continues. When they do take notice Ochitsuki will no doubt already be closing in on the kill.

Yasu is someone Ochitsuki met during his time at the Academy and no matter how much he tried to distance himself from others Yasu would always approach him. The girl was strange, even he could tell that much, yet it was a strangeness he could somewhat relate to. Every day she would somehow find the boy and chat with him doing everything she could to get a word out of him. At first, her attempts were met with silence and Ochitsuki's silence seemed to be rewarded in the form of a random snack that the girl would leave behind. This continued for years until he finally began responding with one-word answers until he eventually began responding with enough words to form a sentence, that is all Yasu would get out of the boy yet that seemed to satisfy her. To his surprise, both he and Yasu would be picked up by the Second Division he didn't care all too much where he ended up so long as he could do his family proud by being a Shinigami. However, deep down perhaps some part of him felt happiness or maybe even joy that he was able to be in the same Division with his first friend ever, Yasu.

Personality:
Koyama trusts his rationalism above all else, so when deciding something, he has no doubts or apprehension in regard to his decisions. His brand of logic is ripe with creativity and confidence. Koyama is a man who stands on his own and takes responsibility for his actions believing only that he chose the path he felt was the most correct. He is quick to own up to mistakes, as he is just as likely to defend his choices with his own life. Koyama’s confidence has a tendency to go too far, he believes he can solve anything with his fists, leading to some heavy arrogance. He is likely to turn his blade to a superior if he feels justified in the means. It is for this reason and many more that Maho took him under his wing. Firstly to humble him and Secondly to properly hone that unfiltered confidence into a more... worthwhile venture.

Authority figures or people with high-status figures typically fail to impress Koyama, as he believes they're just like any other souls. “If even the tiny lil’ souls in the Rokungai are expendable; then why not those within the Soul Society?” Many have gone on to call him, “The Golden Eyed Fool'' for his brash and wild tendencies. His outspoken and blatant disrespect for the noble families could have landed him in deep trouble had he not found protection under the “Dragon Of Kojima’s” Ninth Division. He seemed to fit right into the division and its swift pace. Koyama favors fighting and bettering his skills, he can be seen as a battle freak as he is always in search of a worthwhile fight that will teach him something. Such arrogance is not without its perks, he works just as hard as any of his comrades, training every day in case the Soul Society falls under siege and their strength is necessary.


Notable Features: Something that makes Koyama stick out is his golden eyes, the tranquility of his eyes is a beautiful sight, as it can sometimes glow in a golden flash, or soften if he’s emotionally hurt. Maho, as a young teacher was a harsh senpai to follow. He took no talk back and accepted a few excuses. But he made training fun. Koyama recalls these days well. Though difficult alone, when surrounded by his comrades, his spiritual power skyrockets from High to Great spiritual power.

As far as Sensors go, Koyama is limited to detecting only larger spiritual entities. Massive hollows or experienced veterans fall under this category. He lacks any specialized sensory methods, only being able to track that which he has focused on.

Koyama is capable when it comes to commanding his spiritual pressure. Though lacking, he is able to perform simplistic Kido spells in rapid succession. This allows him to use his skills rapidly without sacrificing quality. It will be some time before his skills become that much more effective, though his comrades keep him constantly pushing forward. He is capable of suppressing his energy in order to avoid detection, keeping it small and unimposing. This allows him to blend into a crowd when necessary, or when investigating in a public location.

Koyama’s spiritual pressure shows its best potential when resisting the effects of those above him. It is never easy to stand within the presence of superior force, though he has trained his spirit to command a specialist level of reiatsu. It cracks and craters the ground around him. Dust rises and fills the air as it flares. It is much more focused and precise than vast and monstrous in that regard, acting as more of an anchor that keeps him from being blown away by superior forces. Still, he cannot maintain such resistance for long, eventually, it will be too much for his legs to bare and he will collapse. When in the presence of his allies, he becomes much more capable of rising to the occasion, feeding off the strength of his comrades in order to augment his own physical abilities.

Another product of his painstaking training process. Koyama can display some impressive skill with a blade. Favoring a single-handed style, the third division has made a monster of his basic sword skills. He strikes hit quickly, single slashes ended battles with hollows and souls alike. Like many in his division who may not yet be masters, he relies on his quick speed to get in and out of range, striking like a blur who then remains just outside the enemy's range.

Shunpo Practitioner
Practitioners of the technique can maintain fast movements for a short period of time, by seemingly taking only a few steps to bridge what would normally be a large distance. Those who are practitioners commonly use their knowledge of Hoho while engaging in combat to close the space between combatants. Those practitioners that maintain these high speeds for too long tend to become winded.
Still lacking in the art of Hoho, Koyama has attempted to continue advancing in the arts, to no avail. It takes him more steps to keep pace with experienced users of the technique, though his adept swordsmanship makes up for the hoho he lacks. He only knows the rolling step, the Ninth Divisions Trademarked flash step technique invented by Maho to supplement users who require the extra steps. This elusive technique allows even a practitioner to finesse their way in close to delivering optimal damage.

Koyama uses Hakuda solely as a way to extend his swordplay. He has been blessed with a strong body and will, though he favored the sword over pure hand-to-hand work. Power Through Comradery

Koyama is an individual who fights harder when around his friends. Such that, when surrounded by one or more squadmates, his physical and spiritual abilities increase by a single-tier level. He feeds off the emotions of his allies in order to increase his strength when facing powerful enemies.
War Cry
The Koyama roars out, increasing his endurance and ability to withstand pain. It lasts for only a short while but has been the difference between victory and defeat. To be clear, this technique bolsters the mental of its user, as his spiritual energy excites in response. This does not allow him to tank attacks, but rather shrug off the pain that is a result of being damaged. Fatal wounds tend to blow directly through such a simplistic mental buff, causing him to immediately succumb to his wounds. However, he has a fairly high threshold due to his hot-headed nature.

Biography:
Koyama was discovered by Maho during a confrontation with a group of Nobles. They, feeling his demeanor and words were disrespectful, ordered him to kneel before them. Obviously he refused, rather vocally. They surrounded him, weapons raised preparing all sorts of insults and remarks. Maho had just so happened to be in the area at the time, intervening before things could get bloody. It was less for Koyama's safety and more for the men who were confronting him. A group of dead nobles heads on his shoulders would have got him centuries in the maggots nest, if not death itself. Having already been a Shinigami recruit, it was not long before Maho convinced the man to follow him to the Ninth Division. Maho Left the boy in Kyuuzou's care, leaving his growth and development up to him.

Notable Features:
Ensō is a fairly tall and has dark, medium-length iris-colored hair that is parted on his right, which typically covers his left eye when he is not in combat. The man has crimson eyes that let off a soft and warm inviting feeling when he is putting on his instructor façade and not allowing for his sadistic nature to seep out. Unlike many who have been battle-hardened, the Shinigami typically wears a soft smile that can quickly blossom into a rather grotesque smirk given the right conditions. Like other Shinigami, he wears the standard Shinigami uniform, called Shihakushō (死覇装, Garment of Dead Souls) - a white shitagi, a black kosode, a black hakama, a white hakama-himo, white tabi, and waraji. The black kosode has the 3rd Division’s insignia embedded into the clothing. Although he does not hold the rank of Lieutenant, he does have the sigil necessary to be summoned as such when appropriate, especially given the lack of 3rd Division members and his rank of Senior officer granted by his position as 3rd seat.

Personality:
At first, Ensō appears to have a normal and quiet personality. He seems to be extremely polite and soft-spoken, respecting of his superiors, which often allows for others to mistake him for a kiss-ass. He has been praised and highly regarded by those that have watched him teach and seen him in battle as a talented Shinigami, so much so that despite him holding the position of 3rd seat, he can withstand missions that would require a partner or two. However, this facade is used to mask his true motivations and allegiances. In truth, Ensō cares little for other Shinigami, let alone Captains and would manipulate and kill them or even use them as human shields when deemed necessary.

In contrast to his previous demeanor, the man delights in mocking others and often tosses out flippant remarks to his superiors or those he dislikes when his façade is shattered. He can be quite gruesome at times as he has trapped a Hollow before, cutting it into pieces just for the fun of it to see if Hollows of lower intelligence could truly feel pain when subjected to torture. Ensō has displayed a very duplicitous nature, making him capable of infiltrating other divisions while disguising his intentions in order to further his plans under the guise of a venerable instructor from the 3rd Division.

In spite of this, when looking past the Shinigami's many masks and faces, he's in fact a broken man who knew he was destined to live a short life but defied destiny itself. From a very early age, Ensō knew that Shinigami like him were subject to annihilation from Hollows at any moment, so he decided that he'd destroy everything beyond the point of being able to restore it — there won't be room for a "factory reset." His world view is a nihilistic one; everything will end, so it's not wrong to take advantage of the toys within the world that have been brought to him and have fun with them.

Relatives:
Although shrouded in mystery, Ensō is aware that his parents have been deceased for quite some time. In fact, they died by his own hands as he puts it. He watched as a hollow devoured his parents, purposefully delaying the Shinigami's attempt to save them at the time, which resulted in their death. He recalls the fake tears falling from his face and off of his cheeks until the Soul Reaper took him to safety and a quiet place where he could be alone and not heard: it was here that his smile and cackle burst forth after he thought about how he'd caused those who had given him life to perish.

Reiryoku Level:
Immense Spiritual Power

Many aren't quite aware of the 3rd Seat's Immense Spiritual Energy. Given his position and feigned quiet nature, it comes as a surprise to those that are able to witness the depths of his spiritual pressure that his reserves are far larger than most beings. While his Reiryoku is certainly immense and seemingly endless to those capable of sensing it, it is also quite the terrifying and imposing force. Though it is masked by his master control over his Reiryoku, the spiritual energy that he holds is terrifying for many reasons, which have to do with the maddening effect that it can have on others as it imposes itself on them and puts a heavy strain on their body, making them question whether or not his Spiritual Pools are that of a Shinigami, let alone a person of his rank. Blessed with reserves this high from a young age, he quickly managed to master his control of them, as they do not leak out as they used to, which often caused him issues early on in his life as a Soul Born.

Sensing Reiryoku: Expert
Reikaku (Lit.霊覚; "Spiritual Sense")

If one is unable to sense that which is around them, can they truly be productive on the battlefield? This is a question that Ensō has often asked his students to think about, which he recalls reflecting on himself early within his life. With no mother or father figure around to teach him, he had to learn on his own. But such a twisted man knew exactly where he wanted to go and what he wanted to do. As an Expert in sensing Reiryoku, it's not uncommon for the man to detect other spiritual energies that have been suppressed or duplicated; allowing for him to even sense through after-images that have a tangible presence. Thanks to his sensory capabilities, he is aware of when to pick and choose his fights, albeit, sometimes he lets his vehement bloodlust get the better of him at times. When teaching others on how to sense Reiryoku, the man often hones in on a specific spiritual energy, processing the details in real-time and relaying them to a student; sudden shifts in reiatsu, the release of one's suppression, and when one excites their Reiryoku in order to begin an attack are just a few examples.

Being able to intercept an opponent's attack as its forming can be the key to life or death, there is no in-between when it comes to this. Ensō always says that it's far better to be proactive rather than reactive, as being reactive can have one on the defensive more than they'd like to be. Feats such as categorizing those who are Shinigami, Hollow, Captain, Lieutenant, or those that he wishes to keep an eye on are easy. Their spiritual energy is something that he simply cannot forget, especially given the fact that he wishes to prey on many people and feel their emotions mix in with their Reiryoku when possible; after all, it gives him quite the rush of adrenaline. As a Master of controlling his Reiryoku, the Shinigami is aware of how important is to be for one to be on their guard at all times, which is often necessary as an instructor — more so than one would think, given that students can be quite rowdy in sometime violent ways. Although some may attempt to circumvent his sensory capabilities and take him off-guard depending on their mastery of Reiryoku, the man is not taken off guard when a presence that was already immense begins to exude vast levels of spiritual energy or pressure, as it makes the situation more entertaining to find out that an enemy is stronger than he assessed.


Reiryoku Control: Mastered Control

In order to hone one’s abilities, they must first understand the very foundation that they stem from; that is to say Spiritual Energy. Ensō has refined his mastery of Reiryoku to a degree in which he can fine-tune his Reiatsu to allow for him to project it in different directions. More often than not, this causes his opponents to believe he is in a different place or attacking from a different angle than what they're perceiving. Having been born with rather large reserves that caused the man to pass by mountains of corpses due to his Reiryoku levels leaking out of his body, he deemed that it would be necessary to Master his energy if he was to be of any use. Unlike most, he was able to achieve mastery of his Reiryoku within his first hundred years as a Soul Born, a feat that is typically unheard of. Because of his true nature and the effects that his Spiritual Energy can have on others, the man appears not only to be physically weak, but rather weak in regard to his spiritual reserves to those that are not masters of sensory. Although even a master has their downfalls, as the man has been able to mask the maddening effects of his Reiatsu from even Captain level individuals, electing to only seldomly and briefly release it when necessary. Because of this, the 3rd Seat’s energy remains wrapped around him like a spider’s web, entangling those who would dare to look beneath the surface.

While he need not rely on his Mastery of Reiryoku in order to bolster his physical strength and durability, he most certainly can do so in order to stop a heinous physical attack or Kido from having the desired effect on him. Enhancing his overall attributes has even become second nature, as his job as a teacher has allowed him to continue to hone his abilities and hold up the 3rd Division’s reputation of being well-rounded. It is not uncommon for the man to release bursts of his Reiatsu or during combat, which can result in a delay in his opponent’s movements, because of the sheer presence, pressure, or effects that his energy has on others. Thanks to his fine control, the man has never succumbed to exhaustion of his reserves and can forego the majority of incantations for his Kido, even those of a higher level without them losing their potency.

Reiatsu: MasterReiatsu Type: StandardReiatsu Color: Pale Violet

Perhaps the reason as to why the 3rd Seat has accumulated so many bodies is due to the sheer strength of his Reiatsu. Working in tandem with his Reiryoku control, the man's Reiatsu is typically non-existent or can be exerted in a very subtle way, which is particularly effective against those who don't see him as a threat. Given the effect that his Reiatsu has on others, it goes without saying that this, too, is kept under wraps in order to conceal his power levels and to ensure that he no longer leaves piles of corpses in his wake. Many believe that the man is a novice given his secretive nature. To reveal one's trump card is, after all, foolish if they're not prepared for repercussions. As a dirty fighter, the man will utilize his Reiatsu in the midst of battle, electing to either allow its full effect work in tandem with his Zanjutsu, or he will plant the seeds of madness within his opponents, gradually making their moves sloppy and predictable. When releasing his Reiatsu, the man can do so in a way that allows for his spiritual energy's color to be seen, or it can manifest in a transparent way; sneaking up on a foe only to delve them into the depths of madness. Techniques such as spreading his Reiatsu across vast distances with no strain allow for the man to become a manifestation of terror on the battlefield. From destroying the surrounding environment to keeping up with others who exert their Reiatsu, the man has no issues in flexing his mastery when necessary to show that he can indeed stand toe-to-toe with even Captain-level opponents, leaving those with lesser spiritual energy and mastery to a fate that he finds to be rather delightful.

Reiatsu Effect(s):
Maddening:
Madness is abundant everywhere; whether one likes to believe it or not. The inner voice that calls one forth and begs to be let out. Bloodlust, laughter, joy in solemn; there are many maddening things within the world, and Ensō firmly believes that everyone has a loose hinge to some degree, whether or not it's repressed is another story. To live and die by the blade is a prime example: One does it because it's their duty, but can they truly say that they don't enjoy the feeling of their blade making its way through a body like a scalpel peeling through all seven layers of the skin? Perhaps they can, but he would call them liars. When exuding his masterful control over his Reiatsu, the man's own emotions tend to affect what type of madness is brought forth from a person. As a person who is viewed as relatively tame and controlled, those who feel the man's Reiatsu get a large glimpse at who he truly is — a sadistic jokester with a nihilistic view on the world. When people come into contact with Ensō's maddening Reiatsu, they find allies turning into enemies, their bodies appear to be foreign, causing claustrophobia to set in and make them chip away at their own body. Even those that would call themselves medics — a job that involves saving others — find themselves harming others with the illest intent possible, causing them to lose their restraint entirely. Hallucinations are not uncommon for those that can't handle the effect of this Reiatsu, but bloodlust and little restraint that results in sloppy fighting certainly is. Like a shadow growing larger as the Sun moves across the sky, the Shinigami's madness can manifest itself rather subtlety, planting the seed of discord, or it can cause outright insanity if he so wishes.

Paralysis
Yet another effect that finds itself utilized to the fullest when exercised by Ensō, his Reiatsu is capable of paralyzing an opponent, keeping them seated in their place like a good student. This form of his Reiatsu can work in tandem with his more predominant maddening effect, but can also be used exclusively. More often than not, when flaring his Spiritual Pressure, the Shinigami does so in a way that manifests through certain motions such as a blank stare or even a surprisingly "warm" smile. With his paralyzing Reiatsu working in tandem with his Reiryoku Mastery, it is not out of the realm of possibilities for the man to focus his Reiatsu on a specific part of an individual's body, causing a rather massive delay in their response while targeting their body's functions, which can lead to a rather lethal aftermath.

Zanjutsu Level: Master Swordsman
Zanjutsu (斬術, Swordsmanship; Viz "Art of the Sword")

In order to touch a weapon, let alone a Zanpakutō, one must understand that their blade will become engulfed with the blood of their enemies. Even if one says that they hold such conviction, they often find themselves faltering when holding a blade. From a rather young age, Ensō wielded various types of blades, ultimately coming to wield his own Zanpakutō and truly know what it's capable of whilst in its sealed form. Although not one to shy away from unleashing his Shikai or Bankai, the Shinigami prefers to make as much use of every weapon in his arsenal as possible, especially his primary weapon. When using his Zanpakutō, the man will often wield it alongside his sheath, electing to make full use of the scabbard as a weapon itself, as it is not something to be underestimated. It's quite difficult to tell how the man is going to strike given his style of fighting, as it revolves around the idea that he can flow like water, taking any shape he pleases but ultimately drowning his opponents with his superior skill.

There are many forms of combat, and much like water, he adapts as he needs to. Over the years, Ensō has developed a fighting style that excels in footwork, fluidity, and redirection. He has dubbed it the Flowing Steps (Lit.流れるような動き;"Nagareru Idō"), an ode to the movement and capabilities of water. Just like it, he flows around his opponent, not only adapting to their movements but parrying and even redirecting their moves with simple motions, going as far as to disorient the foe with his footwork. However, should such a style fail him, Ensō is not above resorting to what would be considered "cheap" tactics in order to win. One's ability to change how they fight and become as unorthodox as possible in the process can be the key to winning a battle. When his use of Kido comes into play, the ability to predict his next move becomes increasingly difficult, allowing for him to interweave his spells into any situation. While many modern swordsmen prefer the practice of Iaido, the teacher prefers the technique's predecessor, which is known as Battōjutsu(Lit.抜刀術;"Drawing Blade Technique") and deals specifically with the rapid drawing and sheathing of a sword. Battojutsu practices and studies the dynamics of sword drawing and hand-eye coordination regarding live-action factors of timing, distance, targeting, and the specifics of one's sword, including its size and blade, to strike readily. It is practiced with live swords, making it much more effective than the technique that came after it and much more practical for one who wields a blade to kill as opposed to one who wields a deadly weapon for sport.

The Shinigami’s Zanjutsu has no "set" style given its flowing nature and is therefore even more dangerous. Wielding his Zanpakutō or Tanto with a single hand is something that he is quite accustomed to, despite the fact that his Tanto is not imbued with his Zanpakutō’s Spirit. By capitalizing on his ability to mute his body’s movements as well as his breathing techniques that allow for him to make not a single noise and suppress his breathing for minutes at a time before taking another breath, the man has become quite fearsome when wielding his blade. Even his strikes and slices do not make a single noise; something that could be attributed to his attunement with any given environment. He does not make a noise, in the same way, an Owl’s feathers mute their wings as they soar through the air.

Not only do the aforementioned capabilities make him extremely versatile as an opponent, but they also allow for him to divert his opponent's attention at any given moment by adding noticeable breathing patterns and movement to act as a distraction. Unique to the 3rd Seat, he has made use of specific and concentrated breath patterns, which increase his lung capacity and amount of oxygen in his bloodstream. This increase in oxygen allows him to enhance his physical abilities and mental concentration tremendously, increasing his reactive capabilities. This unique method of breathing is not without a name, in fact, it has been dubbed as Engetsu no Kokyū (Lit. 偃月呼吸;”Breath of the Crescent Moon”). When used for offense, this technique can only truly come to life when Ensō makes use of his Reiryoku, which allows him to create various crescent-shaped blades when slashing that vary in length and overall size.

Hohō Level: Shunpo Master
Hohō (Lit.歩法, Step Method; Viz "Fast Movement")

For a man with the title of "teacher," it's not surprising that Ensō has mastered the Shunpo technique. From a young age, his training was specialized around the ability to move at high speeds while maintaining one's ability to react. By the time the man had reached his days in the Shin'ō Academy, he had already claimed the title of "Shunpo Expert." Needless to say, there weren't many that could keep up with the man. Alongside his Zanjutsu skills, his Shunpo operates in a similar manner; his movements muted with every step instead of a slice. Footwork has always been quite important to the Shinigami, as he will take multiple stances or none at all depending on his plan of action when facing a foe. Though a rather bold statement, the man would say that the Captain of the 2nd Division is his only possible superior when it comes to his mastery of Shunpo. Even then, this theory has yet to be tested. Chasing after his own students has played a part in his training, which keeps him from getting sloppy with his movements or slower. Through rigorous training, the man's Shunpo has come reached a point in which he claims that he is able to outdo the Pesquisa of even the most highly regarded Arrancar; the same can be said for those that sense Reiryoku — like an intruder, the man circles around one's defenses until he finds a gap that he capitalizes on. Traveling long distances is not out of the question for the man, as he's shown the ability to travel from one side of the Seireitei to its exact counterpart in one swift movement.

Although footwork is imperative, the man has not forgotten that this movement involves the entire body. As such, he has not only become capable of creating two after-images that have a tangible essence, but he can create up to eight after-images in total, which can throw his enemy off, given that these tangible clones can shift positions at any given time with him or an intangible clone. Perhaps his ability to create a tangible after-image isn't all that amazing when contrasted to his ability to utilize the Shunpo technique in a unique way when executing his Zanjutsu or Hakuda techniques. While it's true that he can throw out multiple attacks at once, where is the fun in being truthful in battle? Ensō can also create tangible images of parts of his body, which results in a foe perceiving that his sword is attacking from more than one angle when in reality it's only coming at them from a singular direction. Combining his ability to make his limbs create tangible images alongside his ability to unleash multiple attacks creates an intricate situation that is difficult for many to solve without receiving a lethal dose of damage.

If one were to neglect their reflexes and rely solely on expedition, they would not be able to call themselves a true master of Shunpo, as it's equally important to be able to perceive and dodge high-speed movements. With reflexes alone, the man can quite literally stand still and dodge a point-blank attack thanks to the level of perception he has developed. Sometimes dodging is not enough, however; meaning that the Shinigami will enact his own counterattack during the course of his dodge, not wasting a single movement. A true testament to his reflexes is an ability that he developed by combining his Shunpo prowess with his practiced breathing. Dubbed Gōma: (Lit.降魔にうま;”Fallen Demon”), using this technique, the user can enter a state of where they have an altered perception of time, allowing them to see everything around them in slow motion. While this does not increase the speed of the user's physical actions, it allows them to identify and react more effectively, making it easier for the user to dodge and counterattack.

Hakuda Level: Expert Hakuda Combatant
Hakuda (白打, White Hits; Viz "Hand-to-Hand Combat")

If one is unable to fight without their weapon at hand, then they can be considered quite useless. While some are exempt from this claim given their specialties, Ensō does not falter from this belief. As someone who prefers not to release their Shikai or Bankai unless it is absolutely necessary, he has become an expert in Hakuda. Enemies that come at him with the intent to kill do not make him waiver, as he has complete faith in his ability to disarm and take down an opponent no matter what state they are in. This, too, minimizes the possibility of damage received by a potential foe as long as the 3rd Seat holds back his monstrous strength. Despite being an instructor for Hakuda at the Shin'ō Academy, the teacher does not show his true Hakuda prowess or style to those he teaches, electing to reserve it for those above a student's level.

Little is known about the Aikawa Clan or its inner workings, though they are a clan renowned for their Shunpo and Hakuda mastery to those that can manage to find information on them. There are two reasons for the Shinigami's speed and strength: the first is the Tsuki Style's focus on consistent specialized breathing techniques that enable them to achieve a "state of oneness", in which the Aikawa apply a form of autosuggestion — a self-induced suggestion in which individuals guide their own thoughts, feelings, or behavior. This can be likened to self-hypnosis. The second reason for their extreme expedition is the practice that starts early on in their life. From the moment they learn how to walk they engage in drastic training in order to produce legs that specialized for running and fighting.

His true fighting style manifests as the Tsuki-Ryu (Lit. 月流;”Lunar Spirit Style”) a mysterious and fearsome assassination fist that was secretly passed down through the Aikawa Clan for thousands of years. Apparently created by a mythical Shinigami who had mastered the art of Hakuda and Assassination, the martial art focuses on its users becoming one with everything in order to achieve a state of oneness, thereby allowing its users to “become like the waning moon.” Because of the unique physical constitution required to use the Tsuki Style, it is a martial art that can only be used by those of with uncanny strength and durability.

The fighting style can be used alongside weapons for assassinations but also extensively in hand-to-hand combat, making it an all-purpose style. Whether armed or unarmed, the Tsuki Style focuses mainly on the utilization of the clan's trained speed. The fighting style can be likened to Chinese Martial Arts, in particular Fa jin, a style of technique that delivers an impact that penetrates the exterior to reach the inside of the body.

Kido Skill Level: Kidō Master
Kidō (鬼道, Demon/Spirit Way; Viz "Demon Arts")

Although many would claim that one cannot fight solely with Kido, they would be quite foolish to assume that such a thing to be true. There are many Masters and even Experts that are capable of not only crafting Kido in all of its forms but executing them to their fullest potential with or without an incantation. Such a feat has not passed over Ensō, as he is one of few that has not only crafted Kido spells; going further beyond to the point in which he can cast low to higher-ranked Kido up to #88 without the name, foregoing the incantation entirely in order to ensure that he has the upper hand in battle. While he can shorten the incantation for some of the high-ranked Kido he knows, such as Kurohitsugi, these spells can only reach their maximum potential due to their longer incantations via his use of Kōjutsu Eishō (Lit.後述詠唱;"Spoken-After Incantation") in which he foregoes the incantation beforehand, casting the spell at its maximum efficiency by uttering the incantation after the spell has come to fruition. Aside from this strategy, foregoing the incantation entirely is a very specific technique known as Eishōhaki (Lit.詠唱破棄; Incantation Abandonment; Viz "Destruction Chant") - A class of Kidō Incantation where the Kidō practitioner forgoes using a spoken incantation at all. Alongside this ability, should the man wish to increase the potency he will do so by enacting an incantation whilst deceiving his opponent with Nijū Eishō (Lit.二重詠唱; Twofold Incantation; Viz "Double Destruction Chant"), chanting two entirely different incantations electing to mix them together to confuse his foe, or to cast two separate Kido simultaneously on those that are aware of this tactic. As an instructor, it's quite easy for the man to read the lips of a foe casting an incantation, or decipher what technique one is using based on the aura made by the technique before it is cast, or the amount Reiryoku being used for a technique.

If Ensō wasn't well-versed in all-types of Kidō — that is to say Bakudō, Hadō, Barriers and Seals, as well as Kaidō — he wouldn't be classified as a master. His in-depth knowledge comes from prior training before his enlistment as a Shinigami as well as his own studies and training within Shin'ō Academy. Having produced students that went on to surpass him in the ways of Kidō, it's evident that his abilities are nothing to scoff at. Ensō's favorite way aside from Zanjutsu or Hakuda use in battle to gauge an opponent is to make use of various Kidō in order to see how the opponent deals with them or to give the impression that he specializes in these arts and fast movement solely. Should one underestimate his ability to turn even the simplest of spells into lethal weapons, they'd find their head on the ground.

Such a refined ability to heal becomes even more imperative when he takes his students on practical missions to the Living World, as there's no telling when an enemy may appear and injure a student. For this very reason, he needs to be able to heal in order to ensure the future of those that could prove to be fun opponents in the future. Being able to heal while fighting is something that the man has come to master, as being stationary can mean the death of himself or his students. As such, the man has been able to remotely heal others by attaching a direct line of Kidō to others that transmits Kaidō.

Skills and Abilities:

Uncanny Strength and Durability:
Perhaps the man's unworldly strength and durability would take others by surprise given his rather slender physique. In fact, the reason why many call his natural abilities "uncanny" is due to the fact that they do not manifest on a surface level. His body is in shape but does not boast a muscular tone or let off the presence of such a feature. It's thanks to this that opponents are caught off guard by the strength behind even a simple punch — that which can topple multiple buildings with relative ease. Considering his style of Hakuda, foes that realize his level of strength are quick to attempt to dodge his attacks given their devastating effects. Many often find themselves comparing his durability to that of an Arrancar's Hierro, which is quite laughable, given that he would quickly retort that he has ascended beyond the level of something like Hierro. Having broken blades on multiple parts of his body by letting his opponent's blade reach him, which, in turn, creates more openings than one would think. Point blank attacks from spells and physical attacks from those that aren't as well-versed in fighting or lack strength fail to reach their intended level of damage; leading to an opponent's downfall. Deflecting a weapon with his bare hands is not something out of the realm of possibilities given his strength; given that the man is capable of lifting thousands of pounds when necessary.

Adaptive:
Even before honing his abilities within the 3rd Division, the man was already well-rounded. Perhaps it was the reason why he was able to ascend to the 3rd Seat relatively quickly when he joined the ranks of the Gotei 13. From a young age, the man found himself consistently needing to adapt; after all, it's not easy to keep up such a deep facade without practice. Like a Spider, the man lures others into his web and spins around them with words that keep them in place or allow for him to gain their subordinance. When fighting new opponents, the man delights in testing out their abilities and is able to quickly identify what their strengths and weaknesses are and how he should approach them. Without hesitance, he looks for the first gap — be it physical or mental — and bears his fangs.

Enhanced Senses:
Lips murmuring the words of an incantation as if one is speaking in slow motion, even if they're a fair distance from the man; the slight pause in an enemy's movement which allows him an opening in which to strike. The ability to hear a certain tempo in not only his own footsteps but the footwork of his opponents as well; becoming rather linear as he hones in. Gentle rays of the sun resting themselves on his skin as the Reiatsu of an opponent begins to permeate within the atmosphere, a distinct difference between the two being noticed at the start of an onset. Blood trickling from an opponent's body that is held in the air above him — dead or alive — invading his taste buds with a rich iron taste that imprints their essence onto him as he distinguishes it from the taste of other things. A certain whiff of Reiryoku or Reiatsu as he inhales, distinguishing which tangible image of his opponent is real and who else is around them. For these reasons, it goes without saying that the Shinigami's senses are abnormal; enhanced beyond belief. In particular, his nose is his sharpest sense. Ensō's nose allows him to distinguish between other species and hone in on others over long distances while tracking them. He's even been able to sniff out what one is feeling; allowing him to manipulate their emotions as they present themselves to his sense of smell. Such a strong sense of smell boosts his already expert level of sensing Reiryoku, as he can quite literally smell it.

Equipment:

Tantō:
While not infused with his Zanpakutō's spirit, the man's Tantō is not something to underestimate. It is one foot in length and typically concealed within either of the man's sleeves in a manner that allows for it to be drawn with either hand for a quick strike to his foes. This is, perhaps, the most unfair piece of equipment that the man carries on his person, as the way it's positioned within either sleeve allows for its tsuka to be grasped, dragging the blade out of its wooden scabbard with extreme ease, given that there is no delay since no guard exists. When engaged in Hakuda, the man has no issue interrupting the battle by grasping the weapon and quickly striking the enemy in a vital spot, sometimes going as far as to drench the blade in his Reiryoku Sogai-zai drug.

Gigai (Lit.義骸; “Faux Body”)
His Gigai typically sports a black overcoat on top of his suit with a bow tie, making him appear to be an everyday salaryman. He can occasionally be seen wearing a trench coat with dark-colored gloves.


Needles:
Ensō's crafty nature does not leave him without yet another weapon in his arsenal that can serve a variety of purposes. No longer than 6 inches, pointed at each end, and nearly weightless; these needles are meant to be utilized to hit an opponent's vital points. While their pressure points would be effectively hindered if hit by these, that is not what they're made for. These needles are meant to take one off guard and regardless of whether or not they hit an opponent's vitals, they undoubtedly pierce through objects in a similar manner to Hadō like Sōkatsui. For the hell of it, the trickster will tear an enemy to shreds with these alone, creating an especially difficult battle for those with and without good eyesight, as these needles are thin and made from a light yet strong metal.

Inventions:

Reiryoku Sogai-zai: (Lit.霊力阻害剤;"Reiryoku Inhibitor")
Perhaps one of the most lethal inventions that the trickster has acquired through research and understanding of Reiryoku. Some may refer to it as a poison, but Ensō prefers the term drug. It is, after all, to be administered as such. Although to be fair, if one were to be attacked by such a thing, perhaps it's more fitting to be referred to as venomous given that it inhibits the brain's receptors to spiritual energy. As a result, one becomes unable to control their energy. When deployed, the output of one's Spiritual Energy begins to plummet rapidly. This can cause incantations to backfire, as it directly affects one's control and typically takes one off guard. Making an adjustment to the temporary loss of one's Spiritual Pools would be a testament to their strength. Those with vast amounts of Spiritual Energy may brush off such venom, but in doing so they elect to allow themselves to be harmed. Much like the suppression of one's Reiryoku that comes about when entering the Human World depending on their rank or capabilities, this is a forceful suppression that is hard to shake off. When administered, one has to rely solely on the use of their sword or their might. This makes the invention particularly heinous for those that aren't well versed in Zanjutsu and Hakuda. Oddly enough, this drug does not carry a smell, lacks color, and varies in weight, making it appear as if it were a "ghost" drug of sorts, given its subtle nature.

Zanpakutō Name: Aion (Lit.アイオン;"God of Cyclic Time")

Zanpakutō Appearance:
A rather mediocre looking katana, Aion boasts an ebony kashira with a golden stripe that towers above the tsuka, which bears the same color as the kashira with the exception of the firestone path in the middle that leads down into the gilt fuchi and rectangular tsuba. Aion rests on Ensō's left side, snug within his white obi. Particularly refined by polishing with a gritstone nearly every day — some days for hours on end — it goes without saying that the 80cm blade is treated with respect by its owner.

Zanpakutō Spirit:
Aion is a deceptive being. It cannot be classified as anything other than a divine being, given that its face is subject to change at any moment. Ever-changing, it is the true manifestation of Ensō's own spirit — a sadistic manipulator with multiple faces. Wearing a typical Kimono, Aion consistently shifts in shape and size, its face hidden behind an Onnamen — a Japanese mask that looks like a woman but lacks facial expression. The spirit is not disruptive and surprisingly enough it never has been. It is a manifestation of a part of his soul and personality, which he hides from others but elects to let loose when possible. Giving in to his deepest desires satisfies the being's deceptive and playful nature to no end, giving it a rush that possibly exceeds the Shinigami's own when witnessing such acts.

Inner World:
A world of jagged edges that have a circular center with two lights jetting out at opposite ends. Within the center lies a rather aged tree with no leaves but a plethora of branches in their place. An angled opening on the front of the tree serves as the predominant resting place for Aion and it's often where the man is greeted by the being when communing with his it through Jinzen (Lit刃禅; Sword Meditation; Viz "Sword Zen"). When one stands outside of the tree, they notice the beauty in its graceful aging but are only able to see a black void in place of what actually exists inside of the tree. A traditional Japanese manor with as many rooms as there are masks for Aion exists within the tree. There is a clear distinction between the encirclement within which the tree and two lights reside, one could possibly refer to it as a border. Until the man was able to achieve his Bankai, he was not permitted by Aion to cross said barrier. When crossing the barrier into the endless jagged mountains and fog, the man understood why he wasn't allowed to cross until he had unlocked the ability to release his Bankai. Through becoming one with his Zanpakutō by mastering his Bankai, the man could withstand the effects of the outer layers of this world where time and reality were intermingled and ever-changing. When on the outer boundaries, Ensō consistently shifts between all forms of his physical age — a baby, toddler, child, teen, young adult, mature adult, and elder. Alongside this, he will sometimes take a certain amount of steps only to be put back at his original location or the border once more.

Release Phrase: Although the man is able to use his Shikai in a state of constant release, he prefers not to unless warranted. As a result of his prowess, he is able to release his Shikai with no command, or by uttering the words: "Invert, Aion"

Shikai:
When in its released state, the man's Zanpakutō turns into what appears to be a Jingasa (Lit.陣笠;"Bladed Hat"). Unlike a normal Jingasa, the brim of this hat carries a razor rim that is capable of mutilating those that would dare to underestimate its cutting capabilities. Aside from the abilities that come with its release, the cutting power of Aion is nothing to scoff at, in fact, the Shinigami has been able to "cut an enemy into a thousand pieces" with one swing of this hat. Unbreakable to those that would oppose it, the razor-rimmed hat becomes quite malleable when in the hands of Ensō. It's a rare sight to see the man break down the hat into pieces, as it diminishes its power when it is split into pieces. Despite this diminished power when split, the hat is still extremely potent. On the same token, the hat can be enlarged at any time, just as any other Zanpakutō can be.

Shikai Special Ability:
Ensō has the ability to make things spin, simply put. One might scoff at the ability to do so, but they fail to realize that his ability to make things spin is quite lethal and allows him to be categorized within an all-range role. As a well-rounded instructor should be, the man is able to fit any role when his Shikai is released. By controlling whether or not something spins, the Shinigami can make anything spin faster or slower, change the direction of rotation, or create friction within the environment, which can in turn spawn something such as a tornado given that the technique is applied effectively. When thinking of the foundations of the ability to make things spin, one must recall that in this Shinigami's case, spinning physical and spiritual things — that which is tangible and intangible — is possible. Therefore, when one such as Ensō can control the number of times that an object — a person, attack, defense, projection, etc — can spin, he is able to halt an attack entirely by slowing down the rotational force that the attack holds. He can also supplement an attack's firepower by adding to its torque. Although not applicable to the man himself, those that come into contact with his Shikai, its varying dome of influence, or either of his hands whilst his Zanpakutō is in its released state, one would find themselves subject to a lethal degree of vertigo initially, should they survive the encounter itself. Surprisingly, his ability to control how things spin can be quite grotesque, yet effective in even the most unique ways, such as reversing the way that blood is flowing out of one’s body, effectively making them a blender of sorts when need be. Whether it’s stopping an attack, causing a foe’s body to be overcome by a tremendous sense of vertigo, or aiding his “allies,” the Shinigami’s Shikai is quite potent to say the very least, especially given the fact that it can be controlled remotely, without the use of his hands.

Bankai: Aion: Kyūjō Odori (Lit.球状踊り;"The Cyclic God's Spherical Dance")
When enacted, the man loses the famed razor-rimmed hat. It is replaced by six chakrams that have the same applications as the bladed hat. The chakrams are so thin that when put together, they take on the appearance of one giant chakram. The amount of pressure exerted on the area surrounding the man as he gathers his Spiritual Energy and releases his Bankai is enough to level entire locations when not properly controlled, making even its release dangerous. Instead of requiring his hands to apply the effects of his abilities, his body now acts as the catalyst, meaning that any effects enacted from the chakrams or formerly just his hands now come to fruition when something comes into contact with his body. In a sense, the man's body becomes a truly fearsome offense and defense, more so than in his Shikai.

Bankai Special Ability:
The wheels of fate are ever-spinning. They continue to churn, never counter-acting. Everything ages and decays with time. But what if time itself became inverted, spun on its own head, and defied like destiny? Instead of decaying something or aging it, it can be spun right back into its place of origin. Aion’s ultimate ability is to revert actions back to the state of that they were in when they first came into contact with the Bankai or the Shinigami's body, completely nullifying and preventing the following actions from becoming real. This effect essentially creates a checkpoint. As a result of reaching this checkpoint, the battle between the man and his opponents can rage on but not without consequence. One performing Kido may be forced to restart their incantation, one’s sword can be spun back into its sheath, and one’s Bankai can even revert back to its Shikai or better yet; its sealed state depending upon when their checkpoint was crafted. This ability reverses what is has happened beyond the first point of contact with the Shinigami or his Bankai, thus taking the ability to spin to a level in which one is forced to start over, effectively creating a gap for Ensō to capitalize on. One's actions have been reversed, something that takes time to register with even the most elite of foes. The limitations on this ability undoubtedly exist, as only that which comes into contact with the six chakrams and the man’s body is reset to the created checkpoint. Perhaps the most lethal part of this reverting spin is the fact that when a foe returns to their checkpoint, they are met with a sense of vertigo alongside the confusion that has plagued them, causing an even larger delay than the reset that they’ve experienced.

Notable Features: Although, the first thing an individual notices about another individual, often pertains to some form of physical feature about them, rather it be appearance, garbs, etc., this is not the case with Eizoku. Eizoku's most notable aspect about himself is the air of professionalism and class he holds to himself. The manner in which he carries himself with such poise and dignity stands out far more than any physical feature upon him. His dark amber browned dreadlocks however, don't fall very far behind his poise. Eizoku's hair of all things seems to draw him the most attention from various distances when roaming about, due to its rather distinct coloring and length. His hair serves as his pride, and he tends to be very protective and particular about the individuals he allows to touch it. Throughout the soul society, in his division in particular, he is known to style his hair frequently in very unusual but eloquent manners, the only thing staying the same being the golden clip he wears upon his right dreadlock which seems to maintain its position despite the styling he choses, as it is a memento and keepsake from his deceased mother.
Personality: Eizoku is known to carry himself in an extremely elegant and dignified manner, always seeming both serene and apathetic towards others even if deeply conflicted or undergoing internal pressures of his own. He is notably calm and analytical both in his day to day life and interactions, as well as when in battle. Eizoku is fully aware of his limits and capabilities, and as such is very level headed and understanding as to when he is outmatched or in notable danger, and as such normally any comparisons he makes are nothing more than logical and justifiable. The initial impression most individuals perceive of him, is that of arrogance, due to his calm demeanor and rather high intellect with an extremely extensive vocabulary that often results in other individuals to believe he is speaking condescendingly towards them.
Despite his professional and studious manner, Eizoku is a dedicated and rigorous trainer of both the body and mind, studying and retaining information from a multitude of readings and techniques based on a plethora of topics, the primary one being Kido Incantations and spells. The memorization and constant physical practicing of said spells and incantations over a period of decades, led Eizoku to remembering an innumerable amount of Kido spells, regardless if he was able to fully utilize them or proficiently cast them at the time of his remembrance. This understanding, honing, and practice allowed him to transcend past remembrance to the point of creating his own incantations which pair well with his battle style.
Due to his extended periods of isolation for training in multiple fields, it has caused him to become socially awkward to an extent, unsure of how to effectively communicate himself with the others in his immediate surroundings. Even he is aware of this fact, and often finds himself in his spare time reading books and articles, along with taking advice about improving in regards to his inept social skills.

Development Through a Zanpakto:
Eizoku's development is heavily do to both the connection and ability of his Zanpakto. With the ability to absorb and release time overall, Eizoku has ingeniously used this as a way to significantly speed up his training, create and perfect styles, as well as challenge and improve his overall base stats. This ability to do so has earned Eizoku the alias of being a "prodigy". However in reality, his development is completely due to the ability of his Zanpakto. With the ability of his Shikai, Eizoku speeds up time around him in a specific vicinity of him. When in this state, the world outside of his domain, passes by at an extremely slow pace, nearly stagnant, and remains as such as long as he has his blade within his grasp. When in this state, his development and improvement to him, appear to be going at the same rate as the typical Shinigami around him, however in actuality, Eizoku's improvement is nearly five times that of what a typical training of the sorts would do to him or any other Shinigami if not for his Shikai. This however does have an extreme toll on Eizoku's body, after the effects of continuous use weigh in. Typically causing physical damage across the board onto his body, which initially impeded his progress and caused him to avoid such training methods for quite an extensive period of time. Overtime, after mastering the use of his ability even further, he found it possible to key in on smaller more notable aspects to apply the ability of his Shikai to, eventually finding that it could be used as a healing method, significantly expediting the the healing process of his wounds both internal and external. Having found such a counter to the extreme fatigue and heavy physical toll that his initial training inflicted, he again began his training regiment once more, and continuously improved at an astounding rate, focusing in mainly on the aspects of Kido and Zanjutsu, whilst the fatigues experienced raised him stamina and other relative stats all around.


Reiryoku Level: Great Spiritual Power

Reiryoku Control: Mastered
Since well within his youth, Eizoku's Reiryoku levels have always been significantly higher than the overall standardized norm, and has been the primary factor in which separates his overall standing and capabilities apart from the other Shinigami in both his skill range and age group. Born with a naturally high reserve of Reiryoku, Eizoku, although already believing to have fully tapped into what he thought to be the full utilization of his spiritual power to its full extent, has unknowingly been blessed with untapped pools of Reiryoku which seemingly lie dormant inside of him, gradually releasing and pooling into his main confines and reserves as he ages and his overall proficiency and skill level increases in the various arts, which is bought on by overexertion of himself or near death experiences while on the border of exhaustion. Two situations and scenarios which had occurred far too often in the boy's life thus far. Eizoku's reserves allow him to both effectively and efficiently cast back to back spells of considerate potency without immediately fatiguing or tiring out, or losing power and the overall effect of his castings as they continue. When under extreme stress and potentially fatal danger, these untapped pools of Reiryoku seemingly instinctively temporarily unlock, resulting in an overflow of spiritual power that floods in a manner verging upon the lines of controlled chaos, providing Eizoku with a temporary boost in his overall capabilities at the cost of his consciousness, leaving him completely reliant upon nothing more than instinct.

Shortly after his enrollment into the academy in his younger years, Eizoku found himself growing exponentially in skill in rather short periods of time, quickly surpassing his peers in nearly every aspect, gaining him the title of "Child Prodigy".. He particularly excelled in the field of controlling his Reiryoku, something he was already naturally fairly proficient at before he had even enrolled to receive proper instruction. His surgical like control and precision after his graduation, allowed him to perform and create unique feats unheard of to the soul society until a couple years down the line from once he debuted as an official Shinigami, whilst also drawing the attention of the Kido Corps. With his heightened level of control and training and development within the fifth division, he became capable of casting multiple high-level Kido spells in succession without experiencing any form of lethargy or fatigue, often not requiring an incantation to do so. His natural affinity for Kido and his masterful control, aided by the abilities of his Zanpakto, gave him a natural, yet unfair advantage over his peers and even some of his own mentors in his rapid development over time.

Despite Eizoku's calm disposition, often lack of emotional expression, and his lack of punctuality and regard to time, he is extremely aware of both his immediate and distant surroundings. He is skilled enough in the art of sensory to distinguish and differentiate between different individuals by means of their Reiryoku patterns, discerning their overall capability to an extent actively gauging their strengths and reiatsu levels.

Eizoku is not an individual to simply utilize his spiritual pressure as a means of showing domination or superiority, but rather uses it in order to gauge the response of the one made subject to it before taking note if he should seemingly increase or decrease the amount he releases respectively. He believes in conservative fighting, never utilizing or expending more energy than necessary. Despite his Reiatsu not holding the capabilities to tear the immediate environment around him asunder, his extreme control over both exerting and withstanding both his spiritual pressure, along with that of others, stands noteworthy. He is capable of competing and withstanding the pressures exuded by most vice captains with relative ease, and few captains with some form of difficulty.

Reiatsu Shape: When released and the full brunt of his Reiatsu leaks out in mass volume, it takes the shape of turning time cogs symbolizing something synonymous to the interworking of a clock, and the actual effects of his reiatsu.

The effects of Eizoku's reiatsu is similar to his Zanpakto's ability, in the sense that it tends to effect an individual's sense of time and reaction. Those made subject to the effects of his spiritual pressure will find themselves having difficulty maintaining control of their body, not in the physical sense of simply impeded movement, but rather in the sense that their perception of time is severely misconstrued resulting in them believing they are moving perhaps at their regular or relatively notable speeds, yet in actuality they are creeping, at an almost stagnant pace. Their bodily functions are also made subject to this, resulting in some systems lagging and moving out of sync in irregular intervals falling behind, such as the extreme slowing of the circulation in an individuals body with a lagging of the respiratory system, potentially resulting in an individual's own body working against them without Eizoku so much as having to engage in combat.

Zanjutsu Level: Master Swordsman

Eizoku's proficiency with blades have always proved exceptionally high, even during his youth and time at the academy. He had always held the innate understanding that weapons should be used as if they were further extensions of one's body. Every aspect mattered, from the wielding, the grip, the drawing, the executions of various swings; everything has a purpose and set place. Anyone could grab a blade and swing, however without the correct fundamentals and foundations it proves the same as not having a weapon at all. This ideology, in accord with the fact of Eizoku's extremely close connection with his Zanpakto, makes him an expertise in the field of swordsmanship in his own right. In addition with his main forms of fighting revolving around Kido, and Zanjutsu, Eizoku has successfully created and perfected multiple styles and forms of combat which tend to deviate from the structured normalities found in most linear swordplay tactics. His rather fluid, flexible, and adaptable fighting styles allow for him to challenge and confuse even the most accomplished and well-founded of swordsmen.




Chien Burēdo: (遅延ブレード, "Delayed Blade")
A style both created and utilized by Eizoku Yugameru, founded upon the natural effects of his reiatsu. By embedding and shrouding his blade in his own form of compressed cloaking, Eizoku is able to achieve a blade with reiatsu so potent, that it affects the sight and perception of any individual who looks upon it, creating false after-images after even the most subtle of movements, giving the appearance and belief that the blade is moving either slower or faster than the actual movements of the wielded weapon. These after images are created due to altered perception of time and last for a total of five seconds before completely fading. With enough exposure to the effects of time perception by means of Eizoku's reiatsu, the cerebellum portion of the affected individuals brain becomes directly effected and temporarily damaged from extensive periods of strain and confusion, resulting in the inability to judge distance, when to stop, along with loss of coordination.
This style is further enhanced with the activation of his Shikai, placing the same effect that was originally unique only to the blade, onto his actual body; making him a walking illusion in a sense, and likely leaving any opponents, regardless of their range, in complete discombobulation or dismay, unable to completely grasp the situation before they become subject to the effects of having a strained cerebellum. When utilized with his released Zanpakto, Eizoku becomes able to release ranged physical crescent slices into the atmosphere that take a linear approach proceeding directly ahead, however these slices ,being that they are released directly from his blade, have the capabilities of speeding up, slowing down, or not moving altogether presenting Eizoku with an extremely flexible fighting style that could be used in a direct assault or something synonymous to a set up.

Nagabiku Hakai: (長引く破壊, Lingering Destruction
Once his Shikai has been activated, similar to his Delayed Blade style, Eizoku's physical techniques, with kido included, are able to be released and linger upon the battlefield for prolonged periods of time whilst maintaining their full power and force in a constant state. This being made possible by means of temporarily eliminating the dispersion and weakening effects bought about by the passing of time on a particular subject. With this style in play, Eizoku is able to make the most efficient use of any and every technique he puts forth, without waste; capable of using or reusing techniques and physical assaults that were thought to have been dodged, parried, or countered. With such capabilities, along with the ability to render any stagnant techniques unseeable by means of masking, Eizoku is able to completely pressure and control a battle into going into the exact direction he desires with little to no difficulty, even allowing him the capabilities of pressuring a multitude of opponents controlling the tide of battle.

Despite his appearance, Eizoku is extremely agile and is known to quickly maneuver throughout an environment with relative ease, however on his own he naturally is not the most swift individual. Being that his fighting style and the overall ability of his Zanpakto don't necessarily rely on speed, Eizoku has never saw a need to hone in on perfecting the art, feeling he needed nothing more than the intermediate applications to simply get by in battle particularly for basic evasive maneuvers. He does however have a masterful understanding of how the art works and exactly what it entails to become completely proficient in it, along with the potential abilities that come along after mastering it. This knowledge upon the subject has lead him to calmly evaluate and logically predict an individual's intended movements and use both on and off the battlefield; the technique of his Zanpakto making the use of such techniques figuratively ineffective overall when going against him in close range combat.

Eizoku's focus on Kido and swordsmanship has resulted in him being utterly despicable in regards to his hand to hand capabilities. Knowing only how to correctly wield a blade as part of his own body, the irony is the fact that he cannot even use his own body as such. Without a blade in his hand, he is often at his greatest disadvantage as is nearly hopeless in a physical battle without it. He often does everything in his overall power to avoid engaging an enemy without his blade, and will ultimately seek to retreat or find another means of finding or creating some form of weapon he could potentially utilize, often using his Kido to create makeshift blade like entities to wield. Despite lacking in hand to hand combat, his movements are very agile and coordinated.

Eizoku has dedicated nearly his entire life thus far to that of learning and mastering the art of Kido. His deep obsession for the arts and his natural tendency to achieve a beyond thorough understanding of it, compels him to continuously dive deeper into the arts. He devotes countless hours towards his studies of Kido, examining everything from the most minute detail ranging from the effects of voice inflections and posture on the released spell when casting, to the duration of each spell depending upon the class, branch, and caster. With well over a hundred years worth of studies, knowledge, application and training; compiled by his Zanpakto's ability which progresses the young man's overall training experience and application nearly five times as fast as the average training session by the manipulation of time, Eizoku has theoretically had the equivalent amount of practice and study application to that of over 1,000 years. Giving him far more than an edge on even the highest ranked Shinigami within soul society, even amongst highest ranking members of the Kido Corps despite his rather young age. As such, he is unrivaled in application, modification, flexibility, and use of Kido, and very well marks the epitome of a true Kido master.

As a result of his vast knowledge and experience pertaining to Kido, it has become his main form of both offense and defense, as he proven himself proficient and skilled enough to not only cast and efficiently utilize high-ranking Kido spells without the need for an incantation with full control, but also the ability to create his own spells and styles in the arts. When incorporating his Shikai, Eizoku's prowess in kido increases at a significant rate as it gives him a nearly limitless amount of time in order to not only cast full incantations which serve to strengthen his spells, but also gave the gateway into a new aspect of enchanting, strengthening, combining and binding his spells both before, during, and after the initiation and release. Resulting in amaranthine-esque spells of fearsome magnitude, speed, strength, and complexity in the likes of which have yet to be seen in the soul society - along with the creation of new subcategories of Kido unique and known only to and by him.

Unlike most who view Kido as nothing more than techniques that should be used in instances of surprise attacks or when an individual is off guard, Eizoku utilizes it as his main form of combat, creating both his own offensive and defensive style, along with furthering the application of previous spells that have always been established adding some form of unique deviation which simultaneously benefitting him while occasionally catching an opponent off guard due to their familiarity with the average ordinary spells, these being classified as modified spells. His most well known use of modified Kido spell being Bakudou #81 Dankū, rather than the average appearance of a translucent wall, Eizoku is known to manipulate the shape into a dome like encasement providing him a complete protection from all angles, capable of of withstanding up to Kido #90 without complication.

Eizoku's main specialty within his specialty of Kido, resides in spells of restriction and defense. Around to fifty year mark in his studies, when paired with his zanpaktos ability this equates to over 500 years of experience and application at the current time, he has created a sub branch of binding Kido which he notes as Seishin fūin.This form of Kido tends to be inflicted and take immediate effect on Eizoku's own body rather than that of his opposer or target. Particularly created in order to make up for his lack of natural speed and strength. Once formulated, these spells cloak Eizoku's body in a translucent like cloaking which shrouds both him and any object or individual he is currently in contact with. Once contact is made by a foreign object or individual, the translucent cloaking of the spell intercepts contact and transfers over to the source of contact completely immobilizing the object or victim for a period of thirty seconds before dissipating into nothing releasing the subject. When this spell is still active on an individual, if the same spell is performed again and contact is made while they are in a state of stasis, the victim will experience a complete temporary locking of their Saketsu and Hakusui points, sealing up their spiritual power, resulting in the victim temporarily losing all their powers and abilities before inevitably falling unconscious. This skill was in fact inspired by his captain Tenzen Oda's "White Line Ability".

Genius Intellect:Eizoku posses a heightened form of intelligence and perception which pairs perfectly with his talent of strategizing. He is able to quickly analyze an object or technique after simply seeing it once, and come to a near complete understanding of its workings and complexities. Normally after seeing a technique in action and making a quick analysis, the same technique or strategy will not work against him a second time. It is because of this that he is able to quickly adapt to nearly anything thrown his way no matter how senseless or off the wall a technique or fighting style may seem. It is through this intelligence that he progresses so quickly throughout any field of study he participates in, grasping a beyond thorough understanding of it in little to no time at all.

Master Strategist: Complimented by his intelligence, Eizoku is unmatched in strategizing. He has an undeniable talent for thinking things through well in advance, and making decisive and accurate decisions quickly in battle, and is seemingly perceptive to any situation at hand. When paired with the use of his Shikai, he states that he has what feels like an "infinite" amount of time to think things through and create a multitude of plans and outline a plethora of tactics on the spot. When peering through the vicinity effected by his Shikai, all actions outside appear to be happening in "slow-motion", despite the actuality of the speeds occurring. This gives the young man the opportunity to not only effectively counter and avoid whatever comes his way with extreme confidence, but also the ability to calmly think things through without pressure or haste.

Despite never going to the world of the living, Eizoku has always had hopes of one day being allowed or given a reason to step out of the only world he knows, and into something outside of his own norms. He holds a Gigai in hopes of being assigned one day.​

When in its sealed state, Kuronosu takes on the form of typical katana blade, the hilt of the blade being devoid of any fabric or design overall, whereas the seppa is engraved with a zigged pattern that seems to be engraved around the entirety of the spacer. When in this state, Eizoku carries his Zanpakto upon the left side of his waist secured firmly by the wrappings of his belt. Eizoku is rarely if ever seen without his zanpakto by his side.​

Despite Kuronosu being a dual wielded blade in its released form, it seemingly when manifested only takes on the figure of a single humanoid like individual holding on to an orb which continuously rotates with a never-stagnant rotating circle of Roman numerals reminiscent to that of a clock. The actuality of this is that both the figure holding the orb, and the orb itself are the two spirits of said blades. The wielder of the orb represents the ability to slow and control time dependent upon its will, whereas the orb in constant motion represents the ability to speed it up respectively. The wielder of the orb possesses the appearance of a young girl draped in garments that seem to swallow her figure overall, only being fitted to her figure towards the top portion of her body, whilst the rest drapes onto the ground below with her exceptionally lengthy crimson red hair. The figure holding the orb tends to be very calm and soft-spoken, relaxed with no sense of haste. She serves as a direct reflection and necessary balance to Eizoku's hurried and fast paced haughty attitude that tends to be prevalently displayed by him from time to time, along with his common tendency to procrastinate nearly any assigned task that doesn't involve some form of research or training. The continuously rotating orb in her embrace represents a necessary balance in his life to move forward with some form of haste and meaning, and is often the voice of reasoning in regards to him keeping an actual schedule and more of a practical lifestyle without over reliance upon his ability, in order to navigate through day to day life. This spirit in particular tends to be very blunt when speaking towards Eizoku, bordering on the line of disrespect occasionally but doing so only when necessary out of his love, respect, and appreciation for the boy. The relationship shared between the three is extremely close, and the love shared and bonds present are evident, this continuously flourishing relationship aids in their fluidity in battle, fast discovery and development of skills, and their overall constant progression. The true power of these spirits are displayed when these spirits make contact with each other, similar to that of when Eizoku touches his blades together in their released form.​

Inner World: Eizoku's inner world is a space devoid of any temperature, life, or organic matter. A world coated in pitch black darkness, symbolizing Eizoku's constant state and desire to isolate himself, yet being illuminated by a multitude of semi-transparent gears and clocks that tick and spiral downwards to no end. Each clock rotating at varying speeds, some stagnant whilst others rotate so fast they appear to be stagnant, the difference between the two nearly undetectable. Representing his sense of being in absolute control of both himself and the situation at hand despite the happenings. The deeper one progresses into the void of darkness, the more clocks that they find that seem to be busted or out of commission, as if they were destroyed from wear and tear usage. This factor of the world represents Eizoku's over-reliance upon the skills that his Zanpakto provides him, often using it to achieve feats that without it would prove to be unobtainable and impossible such as his awe inspiring mastering of Kido and refining of his swordsmanship to the degree that it is at a relatively young age.​

Shikai:
Upon releasing Kuronosu, Eizoku grabs the blade of his katana, seemingly breaking it in two, before performing a full spin, his right hand clockwise, his left counterclockwise in representation of what each spirit and blade stand for. The blades then take on the appearance of two straight blade swords with a square tip, not ideal for penetrating or cutting, with a golden fork like spacer stemming from the hilt securing the blade in place. The hilt turns completely black with a yellow strike down the middle, falling into a hole near the end. Within these openings resides two orbs of light that radiate the colors of yellow and blue. In his right hand, he wields a blade with the capabilities of speeding up time, whereas the blade in his left hand respectively slows it down. When these two touch, the ability to halt time in a set vicinity is obtained.

Shikai Special Ability: Kuronosu is centered around the theme of time. Specifically holding the capabilities of the absorption and storing/stocking of time. Eizoku's Zanpakto is often overlooked and marked off in brief oversight as a blade which simply significantly slows down anything that comes within a specific vicinity of him once his shikai is activated, whilst applying the same effect to whomever or whatever his weapon makes direct contact with. However, the actuality of the Zanpakto's technique, is that this is only made possible by means of the blade literally stealing and storing the time of the individual or object under the influence of the ability. When entering the specified vicinity, all items regardless of original speed or composition, travel at the same near stagnant pace from all angles. While active, Eizoku's field of vision becomes altered in a sense, causing everything within his sight to appear as if it is leaden, painstakingly slow – to the point where even masterful Shunpo steps become visible, readable, predictable. However, this is only due to the factor of him innately slowing down and absorbing time around him in a set vicinity with his left blade, whilst still in possession of his right blade which actively counters the slowing effect on anyone wielding it. His actions in this state appear from an outside perspective to be abnormally fast and often unreadable. This storage of time once compiled, is capable of being reissued or reused after its release, in turn providing the ability to speed other subjects up, similar to the way it was used to slow them down, or when used in conjunction with both blades touching, holds the ability to temporarily halt time in a set specific vicinity, however he too is effected by such a skill.

Bankai Special Ability:

Kami no henka – Upon the activation of Eizoku's bankai, a temporal replica of everything in a set specified twenty-five mile radius is created on an alternate plane, unable to be seen or touched by anyone besides Eizoku or one actively holding on to Kuronosu. Wherever the position of an individual was upon the activation of the bankai, is where their respective temporal replica will be created and stand until the bankai ends or is disrupted. Any damage or tampering done to the replica, rather it be an individual or an object, has a direct impact on the actual present time subject. For instance, if Eizoku were to decapitate a temporal replica, the actual individual whomst the replica belongs to will be decapitated in real time. These replicas once established, despite the original capabilities of the owner, prove to be extremely frail, and devoid of any boosts or capabilities that the owner may posses pertaining to defense, evasion, or psuedo immunity – only serving only as time stamps in a sense, or as Eizoku references them as, "Imprints within Time". Meaning that even the most noted and revered of individuals despite their speed, strength, or durability, can become subject or defeated by such an ability. The risk to this technique however, being that this ability tampers with time itself, Eizoku's health and status will be restored or depleted to the point it originally was once the replica was created. Meaning even if he happens to be at death's door, if he successfully slashes a temporal replica of something in the vicinity, his health will be restored or reduced to what it was at the point of the replica creation, which could become a healing factor or a major disadvantage. The most effective means of overcoming his bankai, being to leave him severely damage or fatigued before the activation of his Bankai.​
