Notable Features:
A permanent grin that stays on his face regardless of the situation. It feels very natural for him so he earned the nickname "Made scientist. His clouded golden eyes make him seem like he is disconnected from those around him and he sees the world completely differently from any other shinigami. His bright blue hair flows to waist length and he often keeps it that way unless he fights as it can get in his way. Due to his soft features and long hair, he is often mistaken for a female but does not bother correcting anyone.
Personality: At best he's eccentric and at worst he's insane. Unpredictability is his speciality and will often lead to the deaths of those that assume his next move. He talks politely to everyone he meets, including his enemies. Despite being raised in a rich family he will not look down on those that are not as fortunate. The only times he seems truly serious are when he has a patient or is fighting a stronger enemy. Because of this people often refer to him as "More reliable than he looks". A focus on grace is shown by the way he dresses, fights and speaks. He is a loose fit for the 4th division but a fit nonetheless.

Reiryoku Level: Great Spiritual Power Sensing Reiryoku: Master Reiryoku Control: Mastered Control

Being born into the Higasa family limited the growth of his Reiatsu significantly over his years. They are usually known to use their physical abilities and swordsmanship to overpower opponents. Generations of swordsmanship had been passed down instead of techniques that could improve one's reiryoku. Placing him in the academy put him in a position where he needed to apply himself to the control over his reaitsu. He found that the more he used his reiryoku the more his power increased. After he gained enough to make him a decent combatant.

The seer of the fourth cannot be underestimated when it comes to sensing reiryoku. Some even say his ability to sense rivals even the Captains. He is an expert at sensing from large distances as his range is significantly more than that of the run-of-the-mill shinigami. As the range decreases he is even able to sense subtle nuances of the target's reiryoku, things such as emotions can be sensed easily in those weaker than him making him an amazing lie detector and speaker. If the opponent has a significantly larger amount of reiryoku then Kazuno borders on seeing the future when he is in close range. He can almost perfectly predict the movements and intentions of an opponent and will often use this against them. Outside of battle, he uses his sensing to perfect his technique when healing people. With precision that any doctor would envy he sees the body even more accurately than an X-Ray. Once he has experienced the reiryoku of a person, he will be able to find them forever as long as they share a dimension.

Controlling his reaitsu came with being part of the 4th division, he couldn't get away with failing an operation because he couldn't apply his reads in the correct place. Years of training in swordsmanship awarded him with an intuitive understanding of the fundamentals of controlling anything be it blade or not. He can heal with precision comparable to the captain but he wouldn't dare say that he is above him in terms of skill. He infuses tools with healing kaido to combine his precision with a blade and his talent for control to heal patients quickly and effectively.


Reiatsu: Master

Despite not usually being used for battle, Kazuno's reiatsu is very formidable. Trained to be used for his profession, he can also use it for the other side with great success. People can feel reiatsu from miles away and this makes him both a beacon of hope and despair. The head surgeon of the soul society can also be an executioner.

Master Swordsman

The affinity for swordsmanship is genetic but the mastery was all Kazuno's. An eagle eye and a quick blade allow him to have the most precise cuts in the soul society. Cutting a leaf in half while blindfolded is a party to trick him at this point. Infusing his cuts with his reiatsu and a strong arm make for a fatal combination. He has enough speed in his cut to be referred to as "Phantom" as it always seems as if he can cut things without even touching them, cutting things that would normally be considered impossible unless under very special conditions. Cutting a limb is nothing to the Head surgeon regardless of durability as he knows both the weak points and is equipped with the skills to cleanly cut it off.
During his academy years, he cut his uniform in half and the threads reattached before it could fall.

Hohō Level:

Shunpo Master

Another reason his cut is also referred to as phantom is his ability to have something already in pieces before it can even realise it. Outside of battle, he is trained to reach a patient as quickly as possible before their condition becomes worse. He does not travel in bursts of speed but instead keeps it going for extended periods. If he were to race the fastest people in the Seieretei he would surely come in last due to his lack of stamina.

Expert Hakuda Combatant

He is not very proficient with his fists but Kazuno is shown to be someone who can handle himself more than enough without a weapon. Trained from a young age to use his sword as part of his body, his body naturally can imitate the properties of a sword. He was trained in (はさみ芸術 "Scissors Art") since birth just in case he would be put into a situation where his sword is ineffective. The technique involves infusing one's hand in reiryoku, extending the fingers and locking them in place.

Despite trying his hardest, Kazuno could not overcome the limits of his bloodline, He has the control necessary to excel but the amount of Reiryoku in his body is hardly enough to qualify him as a master. He can cast strong kido but he will still require an incantation or it ceases to work.

Born as the eldest son of the Higashi family, he spent most of his early childhood with his shinai. He was an expert in the sword by the time he went to the academy and he came out of it a master. He was put into the 4th division for his talent in kaido and his precision would later prove very helpful.

Reiryoku Level: Average Spiritual Power-
While having an average spiritual power, he's still capable of doing things mostly for his physical capabilities and the intense training he took on to have even a small chance to pass the academy

Sensing Reiryoku: Basic--
For all he knows this ability came to him naturally mostly for its usability of it even though he could only use it on a basic level he's still capable of sensing reiyoku quickly sadly he's incapable of checking the exact location of the energy only a surrounding area of it

He keeps on trying ways to be more precise without losing his quick reaction speed on the skill

Reiryoku Control: Novice Control-
He has the capabilities to control his Reiyoku to a point to be hidden to people who have a lower skill level than he's and that's not saying much sadly does not make him invisible while yes he's harder to find still leaves a trail on his way while trying to suppress his presence sadly his control over his Reiyoku can't exactly upgrade it quickly making harder for him to improve on this nor the less he has a good sense of concentration and self-control and for it makes his pool lacking


Reiatsu: Novice-
While having a low reiatsu for the not great mastery of his spiritual capabilities, he can't express more reiatsu making his output lower the other but by exchange making his presence comparable to weak shinigami that for now he's in a weak shinigami making it not having any advantage making it a basic reiatsu that works just fine for the use he gives it for now but soon it could evolve to be different

Having a standard type reiatsu is something that most souls on the soul society have, making him average on the soul reapers that he now works with while not having different effects on their own still does the job

Zanjutsu Level: Zanjutsu Practioner-
Physical skills were always were easier for him to do but Zanjutsu prove to be a challenge taking him twice as long to get to this level compared to other academy students his skills on it are slightly enough to pass it but make it worth of it to upgrade his skills on Hakuda

Hohō Level: Shunpo Practitioner-
Learning this to have a good footing while fighting was a challenge in itself still he has proven to be excellent at it and finding methods to move further than others and using it to distract opponents by not moving at all for example using shunpo to trick the opponent he would come for the attack to then strike after their guard was up doing some kind of mix-ups this was the skill that allowed him to pass the Zanjutsu classes

Hakuda Level:Hakuda Combatant-

Proving to be well very good at hakuda since he got there quickly learning and improving his skills and using what he learned from Zanjutsu and hohō pieces of training, he created a whole new technique

Thanks to his capabilities to train his body and mind to know the nerves of his opponents he could develop a new types of attacks most of them being still a work in progress he believes he could make hakuda something even a casual practitioner could find useful still he would not stop until doing so and by the time he graduated from the academy he worked on a small "style" using the soft blow has his main technique sadly not making him a master of the art yet he knows he still is long ways to become better at it.

A move designed to trigger the nerves of the target slowing their movements or making them paralyzed for 3 seconds whit the issue is it can't do damage to the target making the target feel a soft touch making it harder to know if the hit connected the target still any kind of armor or even Hierro can fully counter the ability and if the target has a strong resistance to blows (mostly stronger opponents) need to connect multiple of this move.

Kido Skill Level: Kidō Practitioner-
He would try to trick cheat and pass with the sheer minimum to finally pass the academy this prove to be his hardest challenge during the time he was in the academy

Having not a great affinity with nothing spiritual or having that great control of reiatsu, he could pass with theory and whit extremely hard practice making a simple hado that could light a flame which he uses to cook food in his free time

A Primitive hado used to create a Spark for a fire mostly useless unless used on areas with no other way of making a fire and his "ticket" to nearly pass the Hado section of the academy

Quick reflexes and high capabilities to memorize and notice small things are mostly used to learn useless trivia

Inner World: A jungle but the sky it's always night having the brightest start and there's no trace of the moon just stars in the deep night and those stars being the source of light on the world and have a huge pyramid in the middle of the jungle

transforms the blade into a brass knuckle made of a dark crystal similar to obsidian giving it the ability to cut space in front of him creating dark ripples around the crystal creating translucent, Crystals that are shot where he points at or someone he marked with touching them directly he has not much control of the crystals aside from being capable of what had been already mentioned.

Has any soul he was born in the soul society living with a family of mostly deceased people who did a new life in the soul society for him to learn to train his body before he joined could even join the academy and when had the age he soon went on and apply to the shinigami academy showing great performance on hohō and Hakuda while showing the bare minimum on the other skills even applying his skill to the sparring matches he did for his hakuda creating after using a mixture of his speed and attacks the "Soft blow" something he could do for his passive nature he even graduates by the hair of a frog the academy showing he still had promised to the soul society

So now he has decided to be part of the 10th division to further improve his abilities on hakuda and to probably improve his abilities or even die trying

Reiryoku Level:
A power aligned with the spiritual sensitivity and willpower of the user. It is used by Shinigami to provide power for their various feats and to effectively channel the powers of their Zanpakuto. It can also be used to cast Kido, magic spells created by the Shinigami. Reiryoku can even be coalesced into a physical form and thrown or shot as a projectile. As a display of potency, spiritual beings have the ability to incapacitate the opponent's movement and simultaneously frighten them, by means of dispersing Reiryoku into the air. The aforementioned ability is known as Reiatsu (Spiritual Pressure), possessing power that could be literally felt within the atmosphere.

Basic Spiritual Power- This level of spiritual power corresponds to those possessing a level of spiritual power that is minimal. This level of power is common among those who may or may not be spiritually aware to a small degree but otherwise have no real spiritual power. This is also a common level of power for a regular human. (Below Average-class)

Average Spiritual Power- This level of spiritual power corresponds to those possessing an average level of spiritual power. This level of power is common among those of significant spiritual awareness and may even possess powers of their own but the power levels can vary among individuals. This is also a common level of power for a low ranking seated and non seated members of the Gotei 13 or lesser power individuals.

High Spiritual Power- This level of spiritual power corresponds to those possessing an above average amount of spiritual power, which is finely controlled. This level of spiritual power is common amongst those of an average lieutenant rank and high ranked seated officers.

Great Spiritual Power- This level of spiritual power corresponds to those possessing a large amount of spiritual power which is finely controlled. This level of spiritual power is common amongst those of an average Captain rank.

Immense Spiritual Power- This level of spiritual power corresponds to those possessing an enormous amount of spiritual power which is finely controlled. This level of spiritual power is reflected in its ability to enhance a user during combat as well as its ability to affect the surrounding environment on a controlled level, allowing the wielder to use it in combat to startling degrees.

Vast Spiritual Power- This level of spiritual power corresponds to those possessing an enormous amount of spiritual energy which is wild and untamed. This level of spiritual power has a possible tendency to leak from a person or when released can affect the surrounding area in a destructive way. Those of this level have no actual masterful control over their massive spiritual power, as it can affect those around them unintentionally.

Sensing Reiryoku:
basic ability that beings with higher-than-average levels of Reiryoku possess is the ability to sense other spiritual beings without relying on their five basic senses. This is possible because every spiritual being emits a certain amount of his/her own Reiryoku in the form of Reiatsu, which can be sensed. This ability apparently requires some innate skill, but can be increased with training.

Novice- Refers to one who has little to no ability in sensing or detecting the spiritual power of others. Though sensitive to strong sources of spiritual power they may find themselves unable to locate or track its source.

Basic-- Refers to an individual with rudimentary understanding and talent regarding this skill. Users are able to detect and locate the spiritual powers of beings like Pluses, Jibakurei, Tsukirei, standard Hollows as well as basic Souls and low seated Shinigami.

Expert- Refers to a person able to greater detect and track the spiritual powers of others over greater distance and with much more accuracy, while also being able to read and differentiate between the various Reiryoku Patterns of Spiritual Beings and gauging their strength and reiatsu level. Such individuals are able to capitalize on this ability during combat, detecting attacks from enemies faster and with much more ease than those beneath their skill level.

Master- Refers to the most talented and/or those who have trained and honed their ability, refining it over time. These individuals are able to detect and track the spiritual power of beings over vast distances, able to follow their movements even if not within their field of vision. Masters are also able to detect and categorize the various Reiryoku Patterns, and are even able to detect the subtle nuances of beings such as Visoreds.

Reiryoku Control:
The aforementioned emission of spiritual power is a common and natural phenomenon, but a spiritual being can also control the degree of this emission, this usually requires a certain amount of skill and training. By completely blocking his/her Reiryoku "pouring out", one can completely hide his/her presence from other spiritual beings and spiritually aware humans. On the other hand, amplifying this emission is known as Reiatsu (霊圧, Spiritual Pressure), is considered a show of force, a means of intimidation or can even be an attack in itself. It can indeed paralyze opponents and cause direct damage to the surrounding individuals and inanimate objects alike. Aside from controlling the amount of emitted Reiryoku, most spiritual beings are capable of performing many superhuman feats with the help of their Reiryoku. These feats usually require a certain level of concentration, and they tend to tire the person after some time, or after performing some of them in quick succession. It is also known that after excessive usage of Reiryoku, Shinigami need food to replenish their strength, while on the other hand, the regular souls that dwell in Soul Society that do not use their Reiryoku do not need to eat.

No Control- This refers to those who are incapable of properly controlling their spiritual power. This generally applies to those who have yet to learn to properly harness their abilities, or those with more Reiryoku than they could properly manage. Such individuals are incapable of performing Kidō.

Novice Control- This refers to individuals who, though they have learned to channel their Reiryoku still lack the necessary skill to capitalize upon it for long durations. Such users may find themselves with low success in casting Kidō, the spells having a high chance of exploding or backfiring on them.

Average Control- This refers to those individuals who have learned to harness their Reiryoku with minor concentration. They are able to cast Kidō with slightly higher success, though needing to chant the entirety of the incantation to guarantee a successful execution of the spell, ensuring it does not dwindle in power or backfire. They are skilled practitioners in terms of using their spiritual power to enhance their speed and strength, though may generally require outside aid in properly suppressing their Reiryoku.

Great Control- This refers to those who have trained to properly manage and harness their spiritual powers. Such individuals may find enhancing their abilities demanding less concentration on their part, able to perform them in quick succession for longer durations of time, and may even suppress their Reiryoku from leaking out, blocking it from being detected from spiritually aware humans, individuals with no or poor control, and generally standard Hollows and seated Shinigami beneath 5th seat.

Mastered Control- Refers to individuals who have mastered the control over their Reiryoku. Such individuals are able to enhance their abilities with little to no concentration for prolonged periods of time. Some such individuals may display such control that they are able to cast powerful Kidō Spells, foregoing their incantations while losing very little of the spell’s actual power, and may even suppress their Reiryoku from being detected by Captain/Espada Level individuals.

The physical force/pressure that a person’s Reiryoku creates when released. Most Shinigami and Arrancar, and Quincy can manipulate the release of their reiatsu. The difference between spiritual pressure and spiritual energy is simple: Reiryoku is the amount of energy a being has stored within their body or soul, whereas Reiatsu is the pressure that a person’s Reiryoku exerts. The difference is much like energy and power. Power being the amount of energy exerted per unit of time. Reiryoku is potential while Reiatsu is energy in use. In general, those with high levels of Reiryoku will often have the highest levels of Reiatsu also. A skilled warrior can overcome a person possessing greater Spirit Energy by possessing greater Spiritual Pressure.

Novice- You are more than likely a student still within the academy, having yet to properly harness your spiritual powers, and as a result being unable to resist the spiritual pressure exerted by other spiritual beings such as seated officers from sixth seat and up. You probably have low reiryoku, or at the very least, very low control.

Specialist- You are most likely one who has graduated the academy joined the 13 court guards and/or trained their abilities to the extent that you are able to exert your spiritual powers in the form of pressure. Your pressure is able to restrict the movements of lower spiritual beings and seated officers and has at least one effect to it. You are more capable of resisting the spiritual pressure of others, being pressured by at the very least third seats and up. You more than likely have an impressive pool of reiryoku.

Expert- One with a great pool of reiryoku and who has seen a variety of battles, or trained for many years within the 13 court guards. You are trained in exerting your spiritual power in the form of pressure, affecting the immediate environment around you. Spiritual beings equivalent to a third seat and lower are more likely to be intimidated and affected by your pressure. You are able to resist the pressure exerted by most Vice Captains and, to some extent, some Captain level opponents. Your reiatsu most likely has at least two effects.

Master- You are a veteran with a large pool of reiryoku. You are perhaps a Captain or, at the very least a Captain level shinigami. Your reiatsu when released can be felt over vast distances, and can easily damage and affect the environment around you and those within its reach. No one below Captain level is your opponent, other challengers finding themselves hard pressed in resisting the force of your reiatsu. It is not uncommon to have three or more effects to your reiatsu.

Reiatsu Colors: Different Spirits have different colors of reiatsu, solely determined by the Character's personality.

Fear- Reiatsu at its most basic level can instill fear in others when it is very high.
Stunning- High level spiritual power can cause those of lower power to be stunned by simply being in the presence of a high level spiritual being.
Paralysis- When a spiritual being of high reiatsu chooses to they can paralyze an opponent just by focusing pressure through their stare or presence.
Phantom Pain- High Level of Spiritual pressure can make an opponent feel as though they are being attacked though nothing is physically happening to them.
Damage- In some instances releasing enough reiatsu in one burst can cause burns, cuts or shockwaves.
Killing- In high enough quantities, spiritual pressure can be lethal to others, especially those with weak or no reiatsu of their own.

Reiatsu Type:
Standard Type-
The type most spiritual beings have that can hold any of the aforementioned effects, along with its unique color and feeling.
Dual Type- All Visored and Arrancar have this specific reiatsu. For Visored they feel more like Shinigami, while Arrancar feels more like Hollows. When releasing their Hollow powers Visoreds feel more like Hollows.

(斬術, Swordsmanship; Viz "Art of the Sword") is the fighting style for the Zanpakutō (i.e. sword fighting) and is one of the four basic fighting styles of the Shinigami. It is shameful for a Shinigami to not master at least this technique. It is the specialty of the 11th Division.

Practitioner- A practitioner holds only a basic understanding of swordsmanship, having little to no skill in the art. These are generally the common academy students upon first entering into the academy, novices at best.

Swordsman- Swordsmanship specialists are those that specialize in the use of swords during combat. Someone of this level has to have basic skills in swordsmanship as well. All seated officers of the Gotei 13 have to possess at the very least this level of skill.

Expert Swordsman- An Expert swordsman is highly skilled using their Zanpakuto while sealed or in its Shikai. Most lieutenants are experts, since they must know Shikai and have mastered it to a degree, so as to be promoted. This applies also to some higher seated officers as well and in some cases to captains who even though possibly having attained their Bankai, don't commonly engage in swordsmanship as their desired form of combat.

Master Swordsman- Master Swordsmanship Specialists vary greatly by power and technique. The criteria for a master is simple; one must have masterful skill in swordsmanship above all else. The attainment of this level of skill is a testament to the wielder's power and determination. Most Shinigami Captains are masters, since as the heads of their divisions, they are the true military power of Soul Society. As use of the Zanpakuto is the Shinigami's primary form of combat, it is preferable to have mastered skill in order to achieve the rank of captain though mastery is not excluded to them or even to Shinigami.

Hohō Level:
The name given to one of the four combat skills of the Shinigami and relates to footwork. Hohō (歩法, Step Method; Viz "Fast Movement") is a defensive style of fighting which relates to footwork. Hohō is an important skill for most Shinigami, and is one of their four basic fighting styles. The agility and speed of Hohō can be enhanced and improved through mastery of it, concentration, and training. The foremost practitioners of this technique are those assigned to the Onmitsukidō. Shunpo (Flash steps) is the greatest expression of the Hoho technique. However, there are variations even within Shunpo that only master Hoho practitioners can use.

No Shunpo- Those in this category possesses no skill for Hohō and instead rely on walking to get where they need to be or have trained extensively to enhance their natural speed to a level allowing them move considerably fast though decidedly under that of Shunpo.

Shunpo Practitioner- Practitioners of the technique can maintain fast movements for a short period of time, by seemingly taking only a few steps to bridge what would normally be a large distance. Those who are practitioners commonly use their knowledge of Hoho while engaging in combat to close the space between combatants. Those practitioners that maintain these high speeds for too long tend to become winded.

Shunpo Expert- Experts of the technique are considerably fast and are capable of maintaining high speed movements for extended periods of time. While not as fast as a master they can keep up quite effectively. Some holding the title are faster than others but nonetheless their application of the technique is highly advanced.

Shunpo Master- Masters of the technique are obviously by far the fastest beings within Soul Society. They are capable of maintaining high speed movements for extended periods of time while only using the least amount of steps to achieve those movements. Masters are capable of using Advanced steps which are considerably harder to initiate. A master can possibly create new techniques but it is most likely a rare occurrence.(Note only those who have trained and achieved mastery either stated or shown, outside any advantage they gain from Shikai, Bankai or otherwise are included in this listing).

Hakuda Level:
Hakuda (白打, White Hits; Viz "Hand-to-Hand Combat") is a close-combat style of fighting in which one is unarmed and uses only ones body, and is one of the four basic fighting styles of the Shinigami. High-speed Taijutsu (Body Skill) attacks are used to overwhelm the opponent. Physical strength and skill is determined by this class. It also seems to be a combination of several martial arts. The foremost practitioners of this technique are those assigned to the Executive Militia of the Onmitsukido.

Novices- Hakuda novices are those that have just begun to learn the basics of the art such as Academy students and those that are not versed in the fighting style.

Hakuda Practitioner- Casual users of this art can take on average armed opponents. Those of this level are among the seated and unseated officers of the Gotei 13. Capable enough in hand-to-hand combat in instances where they are lacking in a weapon or need the use of the skill to give them an edge in battle. Practitioners aren't the most likely to engage in hand-to-hand combat on average but they can use it as an option.

Hakuda Combatant- Average users of this art can take on average armed opponents and put up a pretty decent effort against those many times their size. Those of this level are among the seated and unseated officers of the Gotei 13. Well versed in hand-to-hand combat in instances where they are lacking in a weapon or need the use of the skill to give them an edge in battle.

Expert Hakuda Combatant- Experts of this art can take on average armed opponents and those many times their size easily, and as mentioned before, the Onmitsukido are the best-trained Shinigami in Hakuda. Those of this level are among the seated officers of the Gotei 13. Well versed in hand-to-hand combat in instances where they are lacking in a weapon or need the use of the skill to give them an edge in battle. While not masters, an Expert is more than capable of handling themselves in a physical altercation.

Master Hakuda Combatant- Masters of this art can take on average armed opponents and those many times their size easily, and as mentioned before, the Onmitsukido are the best-trained Shinigami in Hakuda. The 2nd Division captain and their 3rd seat, or head of the Detention Unit, are most often the premier masters. In particular, the Detention Unit head must prove their mastery of Hakuda to even be considered for the position. This is because the Detention Unit's prison, the Maggots' Nest, is a weapons-free zone. Anyone who enters must be able to, or be under the protection of one able to completely protect themselves with only their bare hands.

Kido Skill Level:
Kidō (鬼道, Demon/Spirit Way; Viz "Demon Arts") is a form of Shinigami combat based on advanced spells. These spells are produced with strong Reiryoku and fall into two categories: Hadō for direct attacks, and Bakudō for battle support. It is one of the techniques in the Zankensoki, the group of Shinigami primary combat skills. Kidō spells are triggered by an incantation. Experienced users can trigger them without an incantation, though the effectiveness of the spell may be diminished. The Kidō Corps is a branch of Soul Society's military which excels in the mastery of Kidō.

Novice- Academy students and those not talented in the use of Kido. They generally require absolute focus as well as the repetition of a full incantation in order to produce the desired effect. Those at this level of mastery, or lack thereof, results in as many successful Kido as it does unsuccessful attempts.

Kidō Practitioner- More skilled than a Novice, this is typically an expected level of a lower seated member of most Divisions, the exception being the 11th Division. Failures drop significantly while the concentration needed is less than that of a novice. While the incantation is still needed, some are able to cast severely weakened Kido without one. At this level, only lower ranked Kido are available for use.

Kidō Specialist- One who specializes in the use of Kido, those at this level are able to pull off powerful Kido with incantations as well as cast fairly strong versions without. Generally speaking this level is for higher seated officers of most divisions(11th again being an exception). Lower ranked Kido are stronger while mid ranked kido are able to be used.

Kidō Expert- A Kido expert is one able to near flawlessly cast powerful kido without an incantation. When an incantation is used the power of their kido increases noticeably. Low to mid ranked kido increase in effectiveness while higher ranked Kido become available for use. Usually limited to Lt., Captain and Kido Corp members.

Kidō Master- A true master of Kido is able to shirk off the limits of incantations, able to cast even higher level Kido with little to no effort. All level of Kido are available for use, several times more effective than that of the previous level. When incantations are added to their Kido, a Master is able to perform devastating and awe-inspiring feats. Typically only captain ranked individuals or high ranking members of the Kido Corps are found to be of this caliber.

During the release of his Zanpakutō's seal, the blade is thrown into the air and falls vertically into the user's hand, showing its true form, a red-bladed long spear with a black grip.

Shikai Ability:

As one might expect given the name of the Zanpakuto, Shinku Raiu is an elemental type zanpakuto; specifically zanpakuto catering to the lightning element. It is when the Shinku Raiu's seal is removed, that the blade makes its evolution. Those fighting against this zanpakuto begin to slowly understand why it is an aberration among lightning type zanpakutos. Red, almost blood colored lightning sinisterly cackles along the entire blade, caressing it through every single swing. The discharge from this blade causes a beautiful display of a scarlet light, dancing upon the battlefield. Receiving a blow from Shinku Raiu discharges the crimson bolts of lightning against is struck and at first whatever it's power is perhaps dismissed upon the first feeling. The strength behind the lightning strikes equaling that of a Byakurai. But… as the fight continues the opponent notices the strength of the lightning increasing in power and ferocity, the pain growing stronger while their movements become more sluggish, the strength of both their body and reiatsu waning. Shinku Raiu is like a parasite, it's crimson lightning siphoning the spiritual power and vitality of anything it strikes, draining it's opponent of their life and spirit while simultaneously increasing the power behind the lightning produced by the Shikai, enough to amplify the cutting power by leaps and bounds. This effectively means a prolonged battle or a fight of attrition against the opponent, the lightning seemingly having an infinite limit to how strong it can become.(Range limit : 10m).

Ability 1: Aka Raihaaku (赤稲妻把握, "Red Lightning Hold"; Grasp of Red Thunder)

Shinku Raiu, being solely a vampiric vessel, benefits from an endured battle. When the blade is satiated to an extent, the blade will generate a significant prominence Zanpakuto. The blade covered in a blackened scarlet aura, will shake and quiver with power. Then, at the behest of the user, a magnificent volley of electrified constructs will sprout from the blade in the form of crimson lightning hands. Each of these electrified constructs will contort, stretch, and twist violently in order to lock down and restrict their target. With the taste of their target’s vitality and power already ingrained in their system. Spiritual and physical attacks coming from their intended target will do nothing but add fuel to the flames. Siphoning the strength of physical attacks, and spiritual attacks of any manner being used as mere sustenance for increasing the success of their hunt. Upon getting a grasp of their target, the hands will lock down onto their body. Doing nothing but increasing the siphon process exponentially. With all hands locking onto the target, they will most likely leave the target devoid of life at all.

"Electric Red Blade" )

Asato runs his hand over the Zanpakutou and activates this Ability, which amplifies the spear cutting power(Increasing the brute force of the cut and the sharpness of the Zanpakutō) and range(Increasing its size by 1.5x) , enveloping the blade with red electricity, capable of destroying the rest of the reiatsu that was not stolen from the opponent. Combining vampiric power, electricity and swordplay in one technique however it quickly consumes the stealed energy.

Born in northern Rukongai, Mitsuo grew up not knowing his parents and caring for his younger sister in the home of a woman who adopted him, where he developed an interest in shinigami and a sense of justice, which would later be converted into his entry into Shinigami Academy. After years of training, he graduated with high averages and soon became interested in the 11th division, which he was disappointed by the lack of empathy and extreme violence and soon entered in the 13th division where he is currently. To this day, he carries a curiosity for the human world and for the Hueco Mundo, along with his ceremonial dagger left by his parents, with a mystery and a new sister to take care of.

Notable Features: A statuesque woman standing at 6'1'', Honoka towers over most, seldom having to look up. At first glance, she seems slim, despite being top heavy, but upon closer inspection or when the woman flexes her muscles, it becomes obvious that she's quite muscular. She has an olive skin complexion, with a minimal amount of cosmetics on her face; a dark red lipstick and mascara for her eyelashes. Her dark blue hair is glistens like silk when light shines upon it, yet not her entire head of hair is this night sky shade, as it is adorned with stress-induced white streaks stemming frim her widow's peak, adding years to the beauties visage. She typically keeps it tied back into a bun with a metallic hairpin skewered through. Her outfit consists of a flowy black robes as opposed to the traditional Shihakusho. A black and gold obi fastens her robes, keeping her waist tightly bound. As for the Captain's Haori, the woman opted from a traditional design, rather choosing to go with a short coat with sleeves that end at her biceps, adorned only with the Third Division insignia on the back.


Personality: Several events have transpired to drastically affect and change her to the woman she is today. Having suffered not only the separation from her son, the loss of her Captain Commander, the massacre of her family, and damaging her relationship with her closest friends, the woman has become far more reclusive and selective as to who she speaks to or even opens up too. She is far less trusting than ever before, keeping nearly everyone at arms length. Despite this, many still flock to her, as she maintains her matronly demeanor, in the face of the great suffering she has endured. With a fierce tenacity fueling her fire, she will stop at nothing to regain what she has lost, with little to no regard to who might it affect, but will not do so recklessly, now meticulously taking into account all possible outcomes to her actions, something which she learned the hard way.

That being said, she is not completely heartless, as she will still go out of her way to help anyone that asks for her aid, working long hours at Shino Academy to educate the future generations of shinigami to come.

A noble family gaining prestige and status within the Seireitei due to the renowned and respected amount of botanists and herbalists through the Sereitei. Members of this clan are most often seen with plant-type zanpakuto and are well versed in the benefits and uses of plants and their components. They're seen scattered through the Gotei 13, from medicinal use in Fourth Division, plant-made poisons for use in Second Division, as well as research and development in Twelfth Division. The Oki follow a strict matriarchy, currently headed by Honoka's grandmother, Kazue, due to the Naoki's involvement with Central 46, and Honoka's disownment due to the slaughtering of the clan at the hands of the Captain of Second Division, Kyomu Mukuro.


Reiryoku Level: Immense Spiritual Power: Bred and born to contain higher than average reiryoku reserves, the woman houses a nigh endless pool of energy reserves. As if staring into a deep abyss when one tries to gage the dishonored Oki's spiritual energy, it is impossible to read when she has reach the end of her reiryoku. Thanks to such levels of energy, not only are her kido significantly powerful, even with a lack incantation, than that of most seated officers, but are cast in rapid succession to bombard and overwhelm her opponent. It is thanks to this profound reserve of spiritual energy that the vastly powerful Zanpakuto, Higanbana, manifested to her of all people. With such levels, she is able to cast technique after technique, showing no signs of exhaustion or depletion of energy. In addition to this, it allows her to combine different methods of shinigami arts to completely overpower any opponent that comes her way.


Sensing Reiryoku: Master: From the moment Honoka gained the ability to use her shikai, her energy sensing capabilities skyrocketed exponentially. Prior to this, she was completely inept at sensing reiryoku that was weaker than hers, at least during her time in Eleventh Division. After her transfer to Second Division, her sensing abilities not only grew, but flourished. With her reiryoku sensing training greatly elevating her skills to unparalleled levels, she became able to even discern the smallest fluctuations and differences of reiryoku, able to tell when a technique is triggered or a spell cast. Thanks to her innate ability to communicate with plants, she is able to give a live description and location of her target, as all it takes for her to locate any one she is in search for is to be in the vicinity of a plant, be it a petal, a blade of grass, or a seed. She uses this to keep track of any dangerous individuals that may come her or her son's way, as well as retain her distance from him, wary of the consequences she or him might suffer at the hands of her superiors or C-46.


Reiryoku Control: Master: With surgical precision, the woman controls her immense levels of reiryoku, having the ability to completely snuff out her spiritual energy until her presence is completely eradicated, as if she was never there in the first place. In addition to erasing the presence of her energy, she is also capable of using it to enhance her own, already inhuman strength to obscene levels of power. The finely controlled reiryoku also allows her to properly perform Kidō with little expense to her immense reserves, taking a simple, low level spell to an entirely different, horrifying scale, and is even able to cast several powerful spells in quick succession, or in unison. Though over the last hundred years, by wearing the Erimaki Shisseki (襟巻き叱責, Scarf of Rebuke; Scarf of Reprimand), she has steadily released reiryoku to feed it, increasing it's weight on her body.

Having undergone centuries of personal growth and arduous training, resulting in keeping all traces of spiritual pressure completely reigned in and subdued, the provisionary teacher tends to release specs of it when she feels she absolutely must. This being when her anger surpasses the threshold, to stun or damage an enemy, subjugate subordinates, or paralyze misbehaving students. Even when she doesn't release an all encompassing blast, the surrounding plant life is still affected the woman's power.

In a past instance Honoka released reiatsu to affect beyond her barracks, reports were submitted of unusual plant growth beyond the Rukongai. When this happens, it's been noted that seedlings sprout, saplings grow, and flowers bloom. All the plant life that comes in contact with her reiatsu undergoes a growth to it's most vibrant or strongest stage of life. She tends to comically use this to make flowers sprout atop of people's heads when she lightly strikes them with her fan. Her mental stability is a weighing factor in how these plants grow, and while she will not outwardly acknowledge them she's noted that in her darker times, the plants grow aggressively fast, jagged, and even duller in tone.

Victims affected have later stated that they feel such tightness in their chest, that it becomes difficult, if not impossible to move, even those slightly stronger have stated that there is such an unnerving factor in the release of reiatsu that leaves them winded and unsettled. And while Honoka is able to make great use of the damaging effect of her spiritual pressure, she's stated that those in close proximity become riddled with so many small lacerations, as if they fell into a thorny bush, that their movements become hindered the longer they are in the presence of this reiatsu effect, as the cuts will continue appearing over themselves, going deeper and deeper into the skin.




Zanjutsu Level: Swordsman: Holding little interest in wielding a blade, Honoka has certainly lost her edge after achieving shikai and shifting her specialization to different arts. Despite this clear handicap, she's still very capable with what minute knowledge she's retained with a blade in hand, and can disarm or strike down many a foe.

Hohō Level: Shunpo Expert: While this was never a focus of hers, Honoka became surprisingly adept at the practice of Hohō. Enough so to have caught the attention of a certain squad, which would later on train her and hone her skill in it's precise execution. Not only can she repeatedly use flash step, but the distance traveled by each one is far, requiring her to use far less steps than most, thanks to her innate strength and stamina. Thanks to constantly wearing the Scarf of Reprimand over the span of a century, the Oki's speed has only increased.

Hakuda Level: Expert Hakuda Combatant: An expert, bordering on mastery, of the art, Honoka's Hakuda capabilities are difficult to compare. With no discernible style, Honoka tends to switch and mix from a wide array of styles she's learned in her lifetime; knowledge which she continues expanding. Her adaptability and vast knowledge of different styles makes her difficult to keep up, leaving no openings and opponents on edge in their attempt to predict her movements. While her capabilities in such a style have been lost in time, due to her somewhat calmer temperament, Honoka continues to undergo nearly impossible daily training regiments to uphold her own standard of proficiency. Her capacity in this area is so high, that she's developed two distinct fighting styles all her own. The first, Nejire ken (ねじれ拳; Distorted Fist, Twisted Fist), incorporates her masterful reiryoku control to release in reiatsu in conjunction with her already powerful physical attacks, for devastating results. Honoka's second fighting style combines her unparalleled capabilities in Kidō with the Matoi (鬼纏, Lit. "Demon-Clad") Style.

Kidō Skill Level: Kidō Master: A master among masters, Honoka stands at the pinnacle of expertise in this field. She is unparalleled in her execution, control, power, and aim of her Kidō. Her capabilities in spell casting alone are stated to be on par with that of an seasoned elemental zanpakuto of a high seated member. It is often assumed that Honoka completely forgoes incantations, and while she is able to for sake of speed, the woman either masks her incantations or utilizes her zanpakuto to support her by summoning speaking flowers which free the woman from doing the incantations herself, adding to her unpredictability. She does not shy away from support or sealing Kidō, and is highly proficient with kaido, despite Hado being her specialty. Her creativity and flexibility with the vast arsenal of spells has led to her gaining the unique ability to cast multiple kido at the same time, whether they are the same spell or different ones, she will mix and match to her benefit. With her ability to cast spells in an entire league of it's own, it becomes nigh impossible to predict what spell or combination of spells she actually cast; increasing the difficulty when attempting to defend against her. While she has an in-depth knowledge of forbidden Kidō, their incantations, purposes, and theory of execution, from files she's read during her tenure in First Division, the scholar is not forthcoming with this type of knowledge, as this could very well land her in prison or executed. The head mistress' spellcasting capabilities shine even brighter when she combines spells with Hakuda, in a style all her own dubbed, Matoi (鬼纏, Lit. "Demon-Clad") by the Kidō Master.

Skills and Abilities:
Unparalleled Physical Condition:
Honoka undergoes intense training regiments, and is meticulous when requesting her healthy meals, she states sweets and snacks don't count. She takes care of her body to maintain it at its current peak condition. She trains and spars on a daily basis to keep her senses, reflexes, and instincts in tip top shape, and is never shy to share her tips and tricks with anybody that asks her. She is strong beyond compare, easily able to overpower those foolish enough to challenge her strength. Honoka's physicality is so strong, she's been seen to even tear hollows apart with her bear hands. In an interview, she's attributed her strength to her need to keep her muscles strong, all to handle the physical strain of her very own fighting methods. Due to bearing the weight of the scarf of reprimand for over one hundred years, her body has undergone an far more intense training than ever before, continuing to do her daily training with this scarf until she became able to move unhindered. This has helped not only her strength, but her speed as well.
Cunning and Strategic: Whilst she's often seen as someone nice and approachable, Honoka tends to keep her darker or more dangerous abilities under wraps. She can be coy and cunning to get what she wants, or figure out plans to get there, by any means necessary. She's lived many a year, and where many are barely going, she's been and returned. Her long lifespan has helped to add to her underhanded methods through experiences and hardships.
Weapons Expert: Honoka can pick up any weapon and wield it without any issue, an ode to her shikai-less time in the 11th Division, she went through weapons like there was no tomorrow, picking up and instinctively adapting to the newest extension of her body. In doing so, she became adept at double wielding, and thus became ambidextrous through her rigorous training, albeit, only with weapons.

Metal Fan: A metal fan Honoka is always seen carrying on her person, custom made to be entirely out of metal, making much more durable and battle ready than it's wooden counterparts. She's had a modification added to it, allowing to open a full 360 degrees, to take the shape of a disk. Honoka capitalizes on the fact that nearly everyone mistakes the fan as her Zanpakutō.

Mitsuori Wakase (三つ折りだ 環 枷, Lit. "Three-Fold Ring Shackles")
"Light of the heavens, shackle the arms of the beast. Bind. Repulse. Sever."

A combination kido left unclassified due to it's versatility. This spell that causes the fingertip of the user to glow with a bright light. The finger is then spun in a circle, causing a ring of light to be released with the user standing in the epicenter, when it comes in contact with a target, the ring takes hold of the enemy, binding them indefinitely.

When two fingers are used to draw the same circle, when the ring emanates from the caster, rather than capturing the target, they are repulsed violently, away from the user with an aggressive push from this incandescent circle of energy.

In the event three fingers are used, the damaging aspect of this is spell is exponentially bolstered, resulting in the released ring to be capable of cutting through anything it comes in contacts with, be it wood, stone, bone, or steel.


Zanpakutō Name: Higanbana (彼岸花, Lit. "Cluster Amaryllis")

Zanpakutō Appearance: Higanbana, as a shikai, takes the form of an ornamental hairpin. Fabricated in its entirety of metal, this hairpin appears to have a fanning, pink detail at its top, with a decorative hold to encircle it's base and keep it secured. This top piece is sharp enough to cause lacerations. It's length, nearly at the length of the blade of a tanto, with a small accent at it's bottom of a flower bud. Honoka has stated that it's not beyond her to use her own hairpin as a weapon.

Zanpakutō Spirit: Higanbana shows herself as a woman dressed in an "A" silhouetted light-pink dress with a golden trim. Her pine green hair falls down to her hips, is adorned with two multi-colored lily flowers at the sides of her head, and a golden circlet with wings. Her eyes are now ruby red, deep and mysterious, like endless pool of blood. Her skin, softer and tan, while natural color to her, someone would think she spends much of her time basking under the sunlight. As if her choice in wardrobe didn't make it obvious enough, this particular spirit's personality exudes poise and pride, as if she were a deity incarnate. She's difficult and childish, leaving her at constant odds with Honoka. According to Honoka, that's how she shows affection. Higanbana constantly denies these allegations, as she's as untruthful and cunning as Honoka. Despite this, the spirit is incredibly protective of her wielder, and will even act on her own if need be.

Inner World: Honoka describes her inner world as a quiet and somber place. She states there's a heavy weight on one's heart in this spirit world. A never ending river, riddled with millions of candle lit paper lanterns, akin to those in Tōrō Nagashi ceremonies, that seem to eerily illuminate the surface of the swift, flowing waters. The banks of these rivers have wooden fences that create a border between the waters and large fields of seemingly infinite red spider lilies. Beyond that, in the far off distance, dark mountains obstruct the sun, casting an eerie effect on this world by illuminating the clouds in the sky with it's ominously reddened rays.

Release Phrase: Motsure, Shioretahana. (もつれ, しおれた花 Lit. "Entangle, Withering Flower.")

Weakened Zanpakutō: Honoka purposely limits her power, and that of Higanbana's, on a daily basis by constantly addressing her as Shioretahana (しおれた花, Lit. "Wilting Flower"). Higanbana takes great offense to this, and withholds much of her power, leaving Honoka with the simple, but highly versatile ability to create vines. These vines are able to absorb spiritual energy, using it as food to grow bigger and stronger.


Shikai: As a constant release type, Higanbana remains as a metal hairpin.
Shikai Special Ability: As a shikai, Higanbana, is unbelievably powerful, having the ability to shape, manipulate, and even create plant life. This includes all trees, shrubbery, vine, moss, and even parts of plants, such as flowers, roots, fruits, and seeds. Higanbana bestows Honoka the ability to make plants to move, attack, as well as accelerating their growth, heal those sick or withering, and finally, the gift to revive dead plants. Not only this, Honoka and Higanbana have gone through such arduous training, that even advanced fusions or growths are within their capabilities. These otherworldly plants have been seen to have the ability to move freely outside the soil like animals, fuse and operate as a reitasu cannon, even grow unnaturally large bulbs that heal and restore those within. Like all plants, this zanpakuto seems to be affected by the effects of the weather. This will usually manifest itself by granting both Honoka and Higanbana an exponential boost in power, strength, speed, durability, and even regenerative capabilities.

Bankai: Daijigokuhana Higanbana "大地獄花 Lit. "Great Hell Flower Cluster Amaryllis"

Bankai Special Ability: A well-kept secret shared only between the previous Captain Commander and herself, Honoka does possess a bankai forgotten in time. Daijigokuhana Higanbana was once described to have a frightening ability which Honoka refuses to unleash for reasons unknown. With the oath to never unleash her bankai without the commander's order now broken, due to the man's incarceration, she continues to uphold the agreement, as one sided as it may be. The sheer size of the bankai is enough to decimate the structural integrity of the Gotei Thirteen upon its release, not something she particularly troubles herself with should the need arise to unleash her final trump card, as the reasons for her hesitation appear to be more poignant.


Personal Relationships:

Shobatsu Murasaki: Uncertain of her exact feelings towards the man, as her emotions have become a convoluted mess of respect, admiration, infatuation, lust, and resentment. She has yet to take any time to look inward to sort out the inner turmoil within her heart. Despite all this, she has shown immense loyalty to him even at the cost of her standing within the Seireitei. Unbeknownst to him, she's made the man into a father, though has yet to tell him of the existence of their child, and as the days go on, not only have yet to find a way to contact him in a manner that will prevent the loss of her newly acquired rank, moreover, she has a difficulty thinking of a method to divulge such information. Wary of the man's reaction to these sensitive news, the events that transpired that led to her separation from the boy, she is downright hesitant to ever inform the man of this.

Masahiro Murasaki: Due to his mother's actions, the boy was severely traumatized witnessing the aftermath of the Oki massacre at such a young age, causing an emotional separation between the two. The rift between them grows larger by the day after their separation, and while Honoka is unable to do much regarding this as punishment for her actions, she remains.... optimistic that the Captain Commander or Central 46 will allow her contact in the near future as she proves her usefulness to the Soul Society, all in hopes of reestablishing a relationship with her estranged son.

Kyomu Mukuro: She does not hold his actions against him, nor does she harbor resentment or a feeling of vengeance towards him, which cannot be said for her family. Left at odds between the two, she keeps her distance, as she understands her actions forced his hand, feeling a deep heartache each time she lays eyes on him, forced to remember as he indiscriminately slaughtered innocent civilians. It will take some time for her to reach a point in which she can once again speak to him, but things will never be the same between the two.

Higen Kagayaki: While she is appreciative of the "mercy" bestowed upon both her and her child, Honoka does not know if they mend their tattered friendship, having suffered greatly from his orders as commander to remove the child from her custody and preventing any sort of contact between them, knowing this would be the only way to deeply hurt the woman. Being no fool, the Oki remains compliant to the orders of the Captain Commander. She often wonders had she accepted Kagayaki's offer much sooner, could the Oki had been spared the irreparable heartache.

Nibui Ueki: One of the few friendships she managed to salvage despite her time away from the Seireitei and being branded a rogue and stripped of her rank and status. She feels a certain comfort around Nibui, able to lower her defenses and speak earnestly with him, revealing any doubts or troubles ailing her mind. Their friendship hasn't changed much, in the way that he still brings plants for her to revitalize, a mundane tasks she enjoys, as she gets his frequent visits and chats with him.

Yasu Yugure: Having known Yasu since she was a young girl, Honoka was always one to mother her. And while the woman won't always voice herself, she is visibly proud of Yasu's accomplishments and growth throughout her life. She offers her ear and wisdom. Honoka seems have an immense level of trust and affection for Yasu, so much so that it swayed her own mother to make the decision to adopt Yasu, offering her admittance into the Oki Clan. An offer which she refused, and while she was allowed to keep the Oki Crest, it does not hold the same power it once did, though it still allows her to pay for anything she might need.

Personality: Yushiro is naturally greedy and always seeking out opportunities to profit without putting much work. The first thing Yushiro does every morning is check his stocks. He acts immaturely when he doesn't get his way and is the biggest troublemaker. He's egotistic and prideful, though it seems that it is only a façade to cover up his soft nature. He often refers to himself as "Ore-sama". "-sama" is a Japanese honorific given to people worthy of the utmost respect, so Ore (crude pronoun for me, I) -sama is, essentially, "The Great Me". Yushiro is also quick to lie, but not very good at it; in many stories and chats, he stutters when he denies something (even while texting). He has a tendency to shout whenever he's angry or upset (which is most of the time) as well as growl when he's irritated. He often praises himself when he thinks anyone compliments him (even if they aren't) and thrives on being complimented. He acts impulsively and often speaks before he thinks. Despite his rashness, Yushiro is sensitive to changes and highly empathetic; he's the first to notice if something is amiss with his close friends. Whenever there's a crisis, he's generally quick to come up with a plan that often leads to dangerous results. He can also be quite skilled at mentally challenging tasks if he puts his mind to it.

Reiryoku Level: Immense Spiritual Energy

Since birth, Yushiro had mass amounts of spiritual energy, having a seemingly infinite reserve. This is more of a curse then a blessing, to Yushiro anyway. He believes his vast amount of spiritual energy is why he struggles in Reiatsu Control, since he can’t refine and manipulate it properly like most.

Sensing Reiryoku: Basic

Yushiro has a rudimentary understanding regarding said skill, not having much talent in it but not sucking entirely either. He’s able to detect and locate the spiritual powers of basic hollows and some Shinigami, but struggles to track anyone/anything above the basic level of Reiryoku sensing.

Reiryoku Control:

Yushiro has Great Control- Able to finely manipulate his large amount to increase his combative prowess and can refine his spiritual power into an almost cloak that shrouds his body, able to use it defensively and offensively. He trained extensively during his time in the Academy, utilizing most time into training his Reiryoku control. He did this because he lacked in so much, so thought a kind of “stat boost” in combination with his swordsmanship could make a deadly combo.


Reiatsu: Novice

Yushiro has yet to fully harness his personal spiritual powers, and is unable to resist the spiritual pressure exerted by other spiritual beings such as seated officers from sixth seat and up. He surprisingly has good Reiryoku control, though. He just struggles in manifesting Reiatsu properly without it just being a shroud that cloaks his body.

Zanjutsu Level:

Yushiro is a typical Swordsman- Specialising in, well, the use of swords during combat. He has the basic understandings of what make up sword techniques, as well as mastering a few fencing moves that he adds into his repertoire.

Known Techniques:
Passata Sotto: The passata sotto is an evasive movement with a twist. Evade your opponent’s attack by dropping your body beneath his or her weapon, placing your free hand on the ground for support and balance. As your opponent looms over you, straighten your sword arm and attempt to stab your adversary.

Parry: A parry is a defensive move aimed at blocking or deflecting an opponent’s attack with your blade. The basic parry is further divided into subcategories, each referring to specific directional movements of your sword. You would use the “parry of four”, for example, to block an attack aimed at your right side and the “parry of six” to block an attack aimed at the left side of your body.

Counter-attack: A counter-attack is an attack made in direct response to your opponent’s attack. In short, it is an attack into an attack.

Riposte: The riposte is another form of counter-attack. Unlike the standard counter-attack, a riposte follows a successful parry of your opponent’s attack rather than a direct launch into the attack.

Hohō Level: Shunpo Practitioner

Yushiro is considerably fast and capable of maintaining high speed movements for extended periods of time. While not quite on the level of a master, Yushiro is able to still move around the battlefield with decent prowess. During his years in the Academy prior to his sixth year, he learnt how to hone his basic Hoho skill to a decent extent and be able to move rather swiftly for a period of time. He trained in Hoho extensively in those 5 years, focusing on the raw speed rather than the techniques. This is why he knows no Hoho techniques.

As he isn’t quite as advanced as he’d like to be, he doesn’t know any as of yet as his chara hasn’t developed enough.

Hakuda Level: Practitioner

Yushiro can only take on average to low tier armed opponents. He is capable enough in hand-to-hand combat in instances where they are lacking in a weapon or need the use of the skill to give them an edge in battle, although he often prefers not to use this method. It gives him a bit of an anxiety when battling against a swordsman with his bare hands. He’s well versed, or well rather average, at Hakuda because he actually trained in several martial arts in the past, predominantly Kaido and Jujitsu. He also had help honing these abilities by multiple teachers during the 5 years, training hard to get the general grasp and even pick up a few decent techniques in the Hakuda area that he uses pretty often.

Chōhigezutsuki: A headbutt attack with enough force to send an opponent flying backward a considerable distance.

Tsukiyubi: The practitioner extends the index and middle fingers of one hand in unison while they are in contact with an opponent, who is sent flying several meters away.

Tesshō: An open palm strike which can effortlessly shatter a Hollow's head with a single strike. Yushiro can only specifically use this on low tier Hollows for now, as he isn’t too confident in this technique

Kido Skill Level: Novice

Yushiro is not talented in the use of Kido at all, struggling to even manifest a spell. Most times its unsuccessful. He never bothered to practise in it as he wasn’t too keen on it, wanting to stick to more traditional methods of combat.
